9- Tired

THANKS FOR THE 1K reads! it's awesome to find that so many are taking an interest! I feel like this ship isn't as popular as others but it's definitely a more interesting one IMO. I hope you guys are enjoying the story so far and I can't wait to write you guys some more content! I'd have this done sooner but we just had a massive snow storm I've been working out in and it's sucked the life outta me. Which is funny because I'm writing a vamp book.

Anyways enjoy!

/////////////////////////////////

I lay against the gravel, motionless, as I let it overtake me. A soft buzz echoed through my veins, a painful throb in the side of my neck, exhaustion, and dizziness allowed my vision to blur out the stars above me. It was strange how the wind blew that night... it was almost howling at the actions taking place between us. It was bending to his will almost. Everything was bending to his will, even me.

I hadn't the strength to stop myself from allowing this to end, either. It felt so good, I almost wanted this hypnotic, controlling feeling to go on forever. I wanted it to take me where I wanted to go, which was nowhere except back to the earth where I came from. I wanted to return to the very soil that betrayed me the moment I was born.

But...

If I could give him this much at least and have him enjoy this moment to the point of moaning against my skin, then I was okay with it. I was okay with the idea of staying for him to enjoy it. It was then that I felt a thumb reach under my eyes and brush away my previous, frightened tears before trailing to my parted lips, feeling the breath I panted out as my head grew fuzzier and fuzzier. He drank me in as he drank my blood straight from the artery in my neck.

He stopped just before I fainted, and I felt the oozing liquid that moved to the beat of my heart halt as the wounds in my neck closed up. My heavy eyelids barely allowed me to keep them open as our eyes met one another, looking deep and far into the other's soul. I wasn't scared, but I was uneasy as this captivating monster hovered inches over my face with my blood on his lips. He parted them to speak and past those perfect bloodied fangs was a deep and velvety voice.

"A creature so sad, how interesting you are. You feel fear and pleasure in my presence just as I do towards you. We have something in common despite being from different sides." The man spoke to me softly. "You have no place you belong, just like I do, and you hold no joy, just as I once was until I met you. Naruto, won't you allow me to whisk you away from such a horrid place? Allow me to capture you and imprison you somewhere better. Won't you be mine?"

His...

He wants me to be his.

My body relaxed against his lap, and my eyes fluttered shut, losing my ability to stay conscious more as time dragged on. I did, however, find the strength to move my lips and use my worn voice that had been raspy from days of crying and screaming, days of pain...

Years of hell...

"Do what you want with me." I managed to grunt out past my weakened lips before closing, eyes rolling back despite already being closed.

He gave a soft hum before lifting my body. "So be it."

I took little notice of Sasuke's figure as he approached the two of us, his silhouette giving me no features as unconsciousness took me over.

...

***********

I didn't know what time it was when I woke up, but when I did every part of my body was sore from where I blacked out in a rage, a feeling I hadn't felt since fighting Orochimaru. On top of this soreness, my neck ached heavily. I wondered momentarily what had happened until everything came crashing back to me in a jolt.

Danzo's appearance was followed by years of what felt like torture. My eyes popped out of my head as my hands slowly shifted over my ears as the sounds of everyone I knew l dying replayed. My teeth began to clatter together, panic, then the memory of Shi, hugging me and promising me it wasn't real.

I believed him. It didn't happen, but the experience was all too real to just shake it off immediately. It would take me a while before I could get over that experience. I was controlled, unable to stop myself from cutting everyone down that opposed Danzo's will, which included all of my friends.

Then...Itachi's face as the haze of my anger disappeared, looking at me with an expression of worry and a slowly clouding haze of lust and something feral. I've never seen someone look at me with such an expression. It was intense, filled with everything at once, asking me if I was okay, asking me to calm down... begging me... for something lustful.

I weakly covered my mouth as my face heated up.

The eye contact.

I couldn't get over the way he looked at me, completely unable to look away, moaning against my neck, holding me in place as if I'd vanish if he didn't. This Shi was Itachi in disguise. Was it a trick? Is he with the Akatsuki still even after death? He said he died and came back from hell. Was this true?

As I thought, a wave of weakness and nausea overcame my body, making me groan in pain. My hand rubbed down to two scars on my neck, the places he'd bitten. The hand over my mouth tightened its hold, and my teeth bit down to try and force nausea back. With this weak feeling now dominant in my thoughts, I decided to focus better on where I was.

The room was dark and windowless. The walls were a simple stone, and the floor had wooden installations. It was reminiscent of a spare bedroom in someone's house. There was a set of doors with one propped open to reveal a storage closet. There was a nightstand beside the bed, and then there was the bed I was laying on.

Where am I?

I seriously contemplated standing and moving around. However, just as I was about to, I heard a set of footsteps growing closer from beyond the exit. I tensed as they grew louder and louder until stopping just beyond the door. The door knob moved and twisted gently, and I used the covers around me to better hide, stressed.

The door opened, and light from a hallway shined in. Standing there, looking at me with a candle in his hand, was Itachi Uchiha himself, staring me down with a look of tender worry. I tensed a little before relaxing, trying to tell my mind he was okay, that he was Shi, and that Shi was never harmful to me. We stared at one another for a long moment, drinking each other in until he started forward, his eyes gazing down at my covered body before moving to set the candle in the lantern on the nightstand to give the room more light, making me squint a little to readjust to the low light.

"You were asleep for two days," Itachi spoke, his voice sounding the same as it did with a mask over it. "I was getting worried that I might have seriously done something to hurt you. I'm sorry about the bite, I warned you, though." Itachi smiled awkwardly, mostly in apology.

"You should have told me sooner," I spoke immediately, frowning lightly. "I don't like being lied to."

"I'm sorry, Naruto, I was afraid of pushing you away or possibly even scaring you. Pain just attacked, and I didn't know what else to do." Itachi apologized, scratching the back of his head. "I didn't want you stressing out."

"..." I bit my lower lip as I stared up at his eyes.

They were Uchiha-related eyes, but they looked identical to his real ones when he was still alive. He was very pale still, something he never hid from me, but he seemed to be completely relaxed, with no traces of tension in his muscles.

"You seem better." I hummed softly.

"Oh, I'm much better than I was. Again, I'm sorry for biting you so hard. It was like I was possessed ehehe." Itachi chuckled with an apology and slight amusement in his tone.

"As you said, you warned me." I shrugged. "Uhg..." I groaned out as another wave of nausea struck me, making me rub my temples in an attempt to soothe it.

"What's wrong?" Itachi spoke up, leaning over and looking at me in concern.

"I'm just extremely nauseated and weak," I explained as his face began to blur and dance around. "Hmnn..."

"I've got hot tea to help with that. Are you strong enough to stand? Or do I need to carry you?" Itachi asked.

"I'll try sitting up first." I huffed nervously, face heating up slightly at the tone of his voice.

I slowly moved to sit up, and as I did, a lightheaded feeling swamped my senses. I blinked rapidly as I fought it off, swinging my legs over the side of the bed. I stretched my back and sore arms, making sure to make myself less tense and stiff before pushing off of the bed and onto my feet. I was very unsteady at first, wobbling and nearly falling backward. I managed to catch myself, though and used Itachi's arm as a balance.

"Steady," Itachi spoke softly. "There you go."

"Where's Sasuke? And what happened with Danzo?" I immediately started asking as we walked slowly out the door and down the windowless hallway. "And where are we?"

"Hn, Sasuke is in a lounge area I'm taking you to. He was asking about you and checking in every other hour for the past two days. You two were close friends, huh?" Itachi asked with a warm smile.

"More like rivals, but I always considered him a friend. He understands some of my pain.." I nodded weakly, huffing and leaning into Itachi more as I already felt ready to go back to bed.

"That's good to hear. As for where we are, it's one of Orochimaru's abandoned hideouts. It's unoccupied aside from us and two of Sasuke's friends, but they are off doing their own thing. Interesting those two..." Itachi huffed. "And regarding Danzo, Sasuke managed to kill him and avenge our family along with myself."

"That's good to hear. Did you guys hear anything about my friends?" I asked then, desperate for news.

"They made it back home, and Tsunade woke up from her coma," Itachi answered as we turned a corner and headed for a lit room at the end of the hallway. "They're okay."

"Also good." I sighed heavily and nodded.

"How about you? Other than physically, are you doing alright? Danzo wasn't exactly gentle with you." Itachi whispered, running a hand through my hair while keeping the other in place for me to hold onto, the gesture making my face heat up a little more before I forced it to calm down.

The thought of that false illusion scrambled my brain as if a switch turned on somewhere. My eyes involuntarily widened, and I bit the inside of my mouth in horror. My breathing stuttered, and I felt like I was choking on air. I blinked slowly and looked down and away from him as a surge of panic welled from deep inside my heart.

An instinctual panic to run, and never stop. I grunted and shook my head, rubbing it weakly with a trembling hand.

"I p-prefer not t-to linger on it," I spoke, hating myself for stuttering.

My mind did exactly that and thought about the pain, the bodies on top of bodies. The war, the anguish, everything bad, and the complete and utter lack of freedom. I shivered and shook my head, forcing myself to smile weakly.

"Let's just focus on the now, okay? It wasn't real." I asked and reassured him.

"It was real to you," Itachi whispered and stopped walking altogether to cup my face, concerned and attentive.

"It seemed similar to my ability, and if that's the case, I don't think you're okay. It's difficult to determine reality from illusion with stuff like that." Itachi explained. "Please, if you ever need a moment to yourself or to just hug, I'm here. Okay?"

"..." My eyes softened as that warmth fluttered in my chest, making me smile faintly. "Alright."

"Now, let's set you down so I can make sure not to burn the tea and get some food in your system." Itachi patted my face before leading me into the lounge area, lit by electrical lanterns built into the rock.

The lounge was spacious and able to occupy a good amount of people. Multiple couches were surrounding a living room table, with coasters at the ready and board games just underneath. Some looked well-used, and others looked brand new. My heart rate sped up a lot at the sight of Sasuke casually relaxing and eating eggs by himself with a cup of tea.

He was already looking at me, so our eyes met. He stared at me for a long time before flicking his eyes to a couch across from his. I looked to Itachi and gave him a quiet thanks before being helped to the couch, and sitting down. After Itachi left us alone, it became painfully silent. After a time, though, Sasuke finished his meal and set the empty plate down on the table.

"I killed Danzo." Sasuke spoke up.

"I heard from your brother." I gave a nod of confirmation.

"So what did he do to you? Back at the leaf?" Sasuke questioned me, his eyes cold and calculating.

"..." I frowned softly before responding. "Tried to treat me like an object pretty much. I think that sums it up." I instinctually rubbed my gut, where my seal was located.

"Hn." Sasuke nodded. "You defeated Pain too, someone with the rinnegan. You must have gotten fairly strong."

"I've had to. The Akatsuki's been trying to kidnap me since I was like, twelve." I shrugged towards him. "I hear you tried to do the same with the Cloud's Jinchuriki."

"I did." Sasuke nodded.

I shook my head heavily in distaste, staring at his empty plate, realizing I was starving. I was about to say something, but Sasuke beat me to it again.

"We aren't affiliating ourselves with the Akatsuki now that our use for them is no longer needed." Sasuke waved his hand. "So, don't worry yourself out about that."

"Okay." I gave a short nod.

His eyes are so cold and intimidating, unlike Itachi's. They held so much loneliness and pain, something I could recognize immediately. As I stared, he stared back and squinted his eyes some in thought. Another wave of weakness and nausea passed through then, and I covered my mouth as I gagged, nearly dry heaving as I shut my eyes. I heard Sasuke give a heavy sigh before standing. My eyes tiredly opened, and I watched as he moved to sit beside me.

"Here, idiot." He grunted as he threw a blanket straight at my face, which of course I didn't make an effort to catch. "Lay back and stop being so tense. I'm not going to kill you."

"I'm angry with you." I mumbled and yanked the blanket off my face and spread it across my legs.

"For following my destiny?" Sasuke hissed out.

"For being stupid and attacking the Kage summit. I came out here to ask him not to kill you, bastard. And you go and make that impossible by chopping a guy's arm off!" I hissed the words like venom.

"He was in my way." Sasuke shrugged. "He deserved it."

"Jesus- Sasuke, you could have moved past him, kept him occupied, or at the very least knocked him out!" I raised my voice in rage. "You ATTACKED a KAGE! You could have at LEAST waited until it was over with! Doing that was dumb!"

"WHAT DO YOU KNOW ABOUT IT!? THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH YOU!" Sasuke yelled. "MY REASONS HAVE NOTHING RELATABLE TO YOURS!"

"YOU DID IT WHILE BARING THE AKATSUKI ATTIRE! AND THAT HAS EVERYTHING TO DO WITH ME! THEY KILLED JIRAYIA!!!" I shot to my feet despite everything suddenly spiraling when I did. "NOW YOU WON'T EVER BE ABLE TO COME BACK FROM THIS!"

"WHY SHOULD I CARE!? WHAT DOES THAT HAVE TO DO WITH THIS!?" Sasuke shot up and stood an inch from me.

"BECAUSE YOU KNOW WHAT ITS LIKE TO LOSE A FUCKING FATHER SASUKE!" I shoved him, which only resulted in him stumbling and me falling over on my ass, but I didn't care, tears brimmed my eyes as his own widened a fraction. "YOU KNOW WHAT ITS LIKE TO HATE THE ONE WHO DID IT! AND YOU'RE GIVING THIS ANGUISH TO OTHERS FOR NO REASON AT ALL! JUST FOR A FUCKING CHANCE YOU COULD HAVE COME ACROSS ON YOUR OWN! AND YOU JOINED THEM!"

Sasuke stared at me with wide eyes, opening his mouth to speak, but I threw the blanket at his face as payback.

"You joined them... my friend and rival, the only person I had that has a sliver of an understanding. IM ALONE BECAUSE OF THEM! IF I JOINED UP WITH YOUR BROTHER BEFORE YOU KNEW THE TRUTH YOU'D BE DRIVEN MAD ABOUT ME TO...! 'What business do you have with him!? Uh, he's my brother, so it makes it my business!' Is the same as 'what business do you have with him!? Uh, he joined the group that's trying to kill me, it makes it my business.'" I folded my arms angrily as I stared up at him.

"...Naruto... i-"

"You seriously think revenge hasn't crossed my mind?" I asked then, watching as his face darkened a little. "Sasuke... the reason I am like this in the first place is because of the masked man you became buddies with. He... he killed my parents and sealed my fate the day I was born. You complain about being alone... at least you've been able to experience the love of a family. I've only ever known loneliness. You aren't alone, and take it from someone who is, pushing people who try to help away doesn't do anything but make the pain worse."

We stared one another down for a long moment. We didn't speak or move at all as the silence took over our senses. Sasuke moved his jaw left and right as he cooled a bubble of what I could only assume to be anger. He gave a heavy sigh and moved to my side, and knelt. I frowned more as he set a hand on my shoulder and held it firmly in his grasp.

"I'm sorry about your parents, and Jiraiya." Sasuke gave me a weak nod.

"I'm sorry about your clan, and family problems." I nodded back. "I'm here for you." I stressed my words.

Sasuke winced to himself, his eyes narrowing at me before he responded. "I know... you uh, you look like shit. Need help getting back up?"

"Tch, I'm capable of standing Sasuke." I tiredly grumbled.

"My brother nearly killed you." Sasuke deadpanned. "You are about three shades paler than you normally are, idiot. Take the help or I'll leave you stranded on the floor."

I gulped and shakily grabbed the arm he extended my way, and with ease and a single motion, he lifted me to my feet faster than I was expecting. I gasped as I immediately lost my balance and fell into him with a grunt. Sasuke seemed a little caught off guard by it, before sitting me back down on the couch. I made an effort to place the blanket back where it was before tiredly getting myself comfortable. I rubbed my face tiredly, and yawned, before settling completely.

"Are you two done making up?" Itachi's softer voice spoke up, alerting both of us to look over.

Itachi stood at the doorway holding stray of food in his hands. He moved to me and set the tray down in my lap. A cup of warm tea accompanied the eggs and smelled delicious. I looked at the fork and moved it to the food, poking some onto it before bringing it shakily to my mouth and eating. It tasted amazing, but the feeling of eating made the sick feeling return again.

Just eating takes a lot of energy, he really almost killed me.

I glanced to find Itachi staring me down intensely. I swallowed my food and slowly worked up the courage to respond.

"Hm?" I managed to huff out.

"Is it good?" Itachi asked.

"Yes." I gave a simple answer.

"That's good. You eat these it will help get your strength back." Itachi mumbled softly.

"He's guilty of almost killing you." Sasuke huffed beside me and folded his arms.

"Wha-! Sasuke." Itachi loudly whisper-yelled to Sasuke, who shrugged in response. "Only a little! I didn't mean to hurt him this bad."

"He wouldn't shut up about how upset he was, how he hated himself for it." Sasuke began to count with his fingers while smirking, Itachi's face growing bluer around his cheeks instead of red, something that both intrigued me and made my heart flutter.

I was able to look past the fact he was Itachi, as I now know he didn't do what he did out of hate for his kind. His looks weren't bad at all, he was easy on the eyes, and extremely pale without his covering clothes to hide under. The veins on his arms were more visible, and the skin was like snow. He didn't give off any heat, and strangely enough, he cooled the air around him. His skin was ice to the touch, but it was oddly refreshing to me.

Then there was his personality. He's extremely loyal to those he cares for and protects them without any thought on why. He was funny and had a great sense of humor. He knew when to be serious and when to joke around. He wasn't obnoxious like I can be, he was calm while he joked, speaking in a gentle tentative way. He was so...

Perfect.

I finished my plate as I listened to them banter. It was a cozy feeling to be involved with it, chuckling at their comedy and poking. I didn't pay any mind to the growing void in my chest and instead felt happy for them, happy they were united. They deserve a break from the cruelty of the world. They deserve to be pulled out of the pits of hate. My lips touched the cup of tea, sipping until it was empty and my stomach full.

Their bodies slowly formed into black figures with no features. Their voices grew muddied as I smiled and listened in, my eyes watching the cup I was holding wither into dust. I looked over to the floor to find a sea of thick red liquid gently rippling away from me. My eyes followed the ripples, past the vanishing surroundings to a giant cage.

My eyes blinked again, and the figures were completely gone and I was only left sitting in the red ooze, the liquid coming up to my chest as I sat there, unable to muster the ability to smile as my face fell limply into a look emptiness.

Beyond the cage, two blazing red eyes cracked open, regarding me calmly despite the burning rage for humanity lingering in them. His gaze caused a disturbance in the flow of red. I was surrounded by something within it, something like snakes that slithered around my body trapping it in a cold hold of anger.

"You have a lot of anger and sadness within you boy. I can take it away." He offered me, something he's tempted me with before.

"Dad stopped you from tricking me... it won't work a second time." I mumbled as the snakes bit into me painlessly, however, my emotions swelled more when they did.

"I guessed not. That doesn't matter anyways. We spent years within a genjustu similar to Itachi's Tsukuyomi, I'm angry too." The Nine Tails spoke. "We were weaponized and tortured."

"Why are you talking to me?" My eyebrows furrowed in confusion.

"Maybe boredom, mostly curiosity. What will you do now, peace seeker? You are shacked with a rogue and a dead man. It doesn't look good on your spotless record of good. You could say kidnapping. You could also become a rogue yourself and join Sasuke's hatred-filled escapades." The red eyes squinted with pleasure. "Or you could try and tame my powers, something you were granted the key for while learning Sage mode."

"I'm not stupid enough to try that." I huffed, feeling depressed suddenly.

"Hnhnhn, I reckon you'll come to change your mind soon. War is coming, and when war is here, the fact you have my power will be sought out by others to be weaponized. Perhaps by your friends. If war does erupt what will you do?" He asked in an oddly calm voice, a weird mocking expression in his firey eyes.

My eyes traveled down to the snakes, crowding me and whispering thoughts I was having aloud. They all sang in unison, and as they did the Nine Tails' laughter filled the space, echoing off the walls and bars of the cage, making it rattle. I frowned heavily and shook my head.

"Why do I have to be the one who has to come up with the answers!?" I cried out angrily, feeling a surge of power rush into my body and bleeding my vision red. "WHY!? WHY CAN'T I HAVE A NORMAL WEEK AWAY FROM THIS!"

"Because your father made that desire impossible," A giant fanged smile caught the low light, greeting me with deadly promises. "-when he gave me to you."

My vision funneled quickly and when I blinked next I was greeted with Itachi throwing a pillow at Sasuke's face with lightning speed, and Sasuke dodging it like it was nothing. I blinked a couple of times to get my senses readjusted. By the time they did, I looked down to find my stuff had been set on the table, meaning I either did it or one of them removed it from my hands.

Itachi must have sensed me snap out of it or noticed my deteriorating mood because he paused and looked at me. His eyes focused on me as he ignored the pillow that just smacked into his face.

His eyes didn't budge, and I found my gaze caving under them and looking away. He leaned forwards slightly and poked my knee to get my attention. I looked at him and frowned softly as he asked me silently before putting his thoughts into words.

"What's with the sudden sadness? You seemed rather neutral for the past couple of minutes." Itachi questioned, worrying his lower lip silently.

"Sorry, just had some intrusive thoughts I didn't want. It happens sometimes." I tried to force a smile one he seemed unamused by as he saw straight through the crap immediately. "I'm okay."

"Well, now I definitely know you're lying. Need to go lay down?" Itachi asked me.

I looked at him and gave a faint nod. "Yeah, I'd like a nap."

Itachi gave a faint nod. "Alright, I'll help you to your room." Itachi stood and held out an arm for me to grab.

Sasuke watched silently as I took it, and used his help to pull myself up and out of the chair. I clung to Itachi as I found my balance, and slowly we began back down the hallway. The moment Sasuke was out of view and looking over at Itachi.

"How are you doing? Blood hunger wise." I asked him, genuinely curious.

"I'm good. I shouldn't ever attack you as I did then. I'd been past my limit for days, and sort of lost it." Itachi chuckled nervously. "I've never felt like that and I don't wish to feel that way again. It usually takes me three days before I start feeling my throat dry up. Today's the third but I'm doing alright."

"Good to know." I shakily smiled as I rubbed the bite mark with my free hand. "I was worried about something like that happening again."

"I... I'm sorry if I scared you." Itachi looked away from me, frowning.

"I-I was shocked by who you were and I had just come out of a hellish experience. It was jarring, but it was also kinda hot at the s-same time so I can overlook it." I smiled stupidly as my face heated up. "My blood seemed to be good enough." I shuddered at the memory of him quote literally moaning against my neck.

He smirked faintly and leaned on me a little, wrapping me into a hug as he walked us forward. "It was delicious. I won't be able to get enough of it. I'll definitely drink much slower next time."

"Is there a chance you would want to stay and nap together?" I mumbled out, the lonely feeling in my chest screaming.

"Of course. You never have to ask me twice." Itachi smirked, before pausing. "If that's what you wish, then you can bed with me." He winked.

Before I knew It, he was lifting me off of my feet, and carrying me bridal-styled down the hallway. My face heated up to the point I was sure my face looked like a tomato. I watched as the door I had walked from when I woke came and went. I watched it vanish as we turned down a hallway, moving to a larger hall that had better-looking doors, leading to a set of double doors with fancy engravings in the wood. We made our way to it, and by the time we got there, the lulling sensation of being carried had me starting to doze off.

"This is my room." Itachi hummed and pushed the door open with his foot gently before guiding us inside.

The room was big for an average bedroom, containing a giant king-sized bed with black sheets. The walls themselves were purple, and the furniture a deep red-ish maroon. There was a door leading to a bathroom I could barely see. There weren't any windows in here either.

"Are we underground?" I tiredly mumbled out, rubbing my eyes.

"Yes, we are. There is a section above ground, but for obvious reasons, I can't be up there so we decided the lower levels would suffice." Itachi briefly explained this to me.

I nodded as we moved to the bedside. Itachi sat me down, before moving over to the dresser and opening a drawer. I couldn't help my staring, as I watched him move with a neutral face with a tint of minty blue across his face. He pulled his shirt over his head and off, making my stomach flip. He tossed it aside and then proceeded to remove his pants, making me blink rapidly and look upwards. I heard the sound of rustling and looked over after a time to see him pulling on a pair of pajama pants. He didn't bother to put on a shirt and moved over to the other side of the bed before laying down.

I looked at my clothes to notice I was in a different attire. They were also pajamas, a simple white tee shirt, and a pair of orange pajama pants. I blushed faintly at the thought of one of them changing my clothes while unconscious, but I was able to overlook it. I settled myself into place under the big blanket and scooted myself into a comfortable position. I looked over to Itachi to find he was watching me with an amused smile.

"Comfortable?" Itachi asked me, moving closer until he was nearly against me.

"Yeah, this bed is softer than the one I was in." I gave a weak smile.

"Hn, sorry for that. I didn't know if you wanted to share a bed since I'm super cold, and you were pretty icy yourself after draining you nearly dry." Itachi hummed, his hand coming to my arm and caressing it.

We shared a moment of silence as we looked at one another. He watched me watch him and vice versa. The space between our faces seemed so inviting as his sheer looks alone drew me in. His calm demeanor was beckoning my mind forwards as his lips seems more and more tempting.

I found myself reaching out with a hand, using my thumb to gently glide over his unnaturally cold lips, basking in the softness of his flesh.

"Your eyes are utterly captivating," Itachi spoke up after I began my feeling of the lips. "So blue, and change color depending on your mood. When you are happy they brighten up a lot, when you get sad your eyes turn into a Grey-ish hue. When you get mad I haven't seen yet, but when you get all flustered your pupils get bigger."

"Th-Thanks." I whispered.

"Hn." Itachi hummed as he lifted a hand to grab mine, pinching down to hold my thumb still from caressing.

His eyes sharpened slightly, making me jolt in shock as he very lightly bit down on the finger, licking it with his thumb, before sliding the whole digit between his lips and into his cold mouth, making me shudder.

"H-Hey, what are you... ?" I whispered out as my entire face felt like it was on fire, squirming as he held my hand perfectly still.

"Mmn." Itachi moaned softly against my hand in a deeper tone before letting my thumb go. "Your skin is divine." Itachi purred and scooted much closer to me, making me flinch as he was close to my face to the point our noses touched. "I want to feel and taste more. I want to bask in its softness. I want to see all the shades of pink your face turns as I speak to you... as I touch you in sensitive places. I want to experience more of you, remember every detail, and see every color you are capable of turning."

There was an excited glint in his eyes, one that made my waist heat up a little, and my belly knot in faint eagerness, arousal, and fear. His words sounded animalistic and desperate and the look on his face was something experiencing wonder and curiosity. He looked so worked up, and I was so tempted to let him. I was extremely tired, however, and if he did try something I don't think I'd have the energy to follow through with it without passing out.

He should know not to overdo it, he should know I can't have fun times without more rest first.

"One step at a time, Itachi. I've been through a lot recently and I'm too tired to try anything adventurous." I tried to explain as best as I could without making myself sound mean for denying him.

"I wasn't going to bone you, if that's what you were thinking, of course not. I'd probably kill you from sheer exhaustion and excitement. I was talking along the lines of, I dunno, making out?" Itachi tried to explain clearly as well, visibly struggling to as well.

"Well by the sounds of it you were talking about the other thing." I let my face drop to an expressionless deadpan. "I smell a liar."

"I'm just a bit tense and worked up after everything. I can't help it if you're such a snack." Itachi smirked at me and pecked my cheek. "I love being able to tease you and see the full reaction in detail." His eyes seemed to glimmer for a moment as he said this.

"I can tell you enjoy it." I tiredly huffed.

"Hn." Itachi hummed in delight before settling down, wrapping an arm around me and getting comfortable. "Well then, sleepy. Let's rest and we can explore our options tomorrow, alright?"

I bit my lower lip and gave a quick nod. I relaxed into his hold and adjusted my sleeping position until I found myself getting comfortable. After I accomplished this task, I simply shut my eyes and let the worries of the day become forgotten in place of whatever dream I was due to have.

"Goodnight Naruto." I heard Itachi's gentle whisper against my ear, followed by a tender kiss.

I faintly smiled past the tiredness, and gave a faint 'thank you' just before losing consciousness.
