31: Let Loose

It burns. The smell of his blood burns so good. I couldn't get enough of it. His aroma was an addicting drug I wanted to greedily consume until I died from overindulgence. I held onto my self restraint, and kept myself at bay for now. It was difficult, however, with him covered in sweat and small scrapes as he sparred with Bee, learning moves and self-control while in his new nine tails state. He was very strong, physically, and had to relearn how to apply it just right.

Much like how my situation is. Currently, I have had a very hard time with control. His blood did something very different to me. It must be the infusion to the tailed beast chakra into his system because my body feels electrified. Everything felt brittle and weak in my hold, even him. I had bruised him considerably while carrying him inside earlier, and I cracked my mask, putting it on, and had to switch to a different one that Naruto packed just in case mine broke.

The sunlight was a blessing in disguise because it kept me from my impulsive desire to bite him again.

Ah... that wasn't fun... the pain he was in after I bit him so hard. He was fully healed thanks to his current form, but when we settled down in our room, he was in serious pain after the adrenaline wore off. I could still hear the faint huff of strain each time he turned his head, the scar on his neck, much wider than it had been. I felt and still feel deep shame for losing myself the way I did.

After promising him, it would never happen again, too.

I was listening to them fight, staying a ways away from them both in meditation, expanding my eyes farther with them closed, enhancing my sense of smell and hearing while trying to ignore Naruto. I could hear ants crawling along the ground and a deep guttural thumping, as if the island itself were alive. I've come to the conclusion it must have been, since it did, in fact, move.

I could smell animals within the entire forest, able to focus on their breathing, listening to nature hum in a refined way. It was harmonious and simple, something trivial to most, but beautiful in its own way through my ears. It formed a white noise I've come to enjoy thoroughly. It was interrupted by heavy thumping and slashing from my brother a mile off to my right, practicing on his own, his susanoo out and blazing away, my old eyes keeping his from withering away.

I decided to tether my chakra into the ground beneath me, much like how I used to when I needed to see while I was temporarily blind. I weaved my consciousness into the ground, the ants falling still, the birds landing around me, quiet, observing. Everything became so quiet in the small bubble I've created. My presence made them all shake in fear... hearts drumming, breathing erratic.

I reached my hands out to my sides and tethered myself to them, feeling my chakrs invade theirs, making me shiver as I then ripped my chakra back within my body, however, their chakra followed with mine, and they all proceeded to die around me.

My eyes flew open and looked around me, feeling weirdly okay with murdering animals for practice. I sighed and stood up from the cluttered corpses and moved away from them, into the shade of the surrounding forest without straying too far from Naruto's busy self.

I paused, alone in the woods surrounded by shade. I leaned up against the bark of a nearby tree and gazed down at my hands. I then looked up to the canopy in thought. I then looked down curiously as I pulled my glove, letting the smallest amount of skin become exposed to the open air.

I flinched, eyes watering as my skin still hated the indirect sunlight beaming down on it. The ghostly white skin turned pink, red, and burned with overexposure. I was quick to hiss and covered it back up before grabbing at it, sinking down onto my knees, staring down at the grass in frustration and momentary helplessness. I bared my fangs behind my mask and growled loudly in anger, the air around me growing hot to match my pain.

A monster!

My eyes kept watering, past the pain in my hand, it going numb as my mind spiraled with pint up rage.

I was still frustrated. The only warmth I could feel was the heat of the sun through my clothes and the warmth I felt around Naruto. I couldn't enjoy the sun like I wanted to. I couldn't bask in the feeling of fresh afternoon air.

I was stuck with the moon... the stars.

They themselves weren't so bad. They were fairly pretty, but many people took the sun for granted. It just wasn't fair to me to become like this at all. The fact that I wanted death to be permanent by my brother's hand was simply too much to ask for.

Apparently.

I gave a heavy sigh and situated myself fully on the ground, sprawling my legs out fully on the grass, letting my arms fall limp to my sides. I tilted my head and hummed when the sound of intense training came to a halt on my brother's end. I looked over in that general direction, hearing faint footsteps growing louder and louder. I let my negative mood shift to the backburner before my brother could sense my ill mood. Just as I forced myself to cheer up, his out-of-breath figure emerged from a nearby thicket of bushes. He was completely covered in kicked up dirt and scuffs scattered across his form. He smelled heavily of salty sweat and tiredness. He regarded me through tired and pained eyes before moving over to where I sat, inviting himself to sit beside me. His Katana fell to the ground between us, and he flopped straight onto his backside with a loud grunt before smoothing out his air.

"Done meditating?" Sasuke asked me, catching his breath.

"Yes, I got used to Naruto's smell, mostly, and discovered the reach of my hearing and sight. It's kind of ridiculous how much farther I can see and hear now. No wonder my hearing is so sensitive, I can hear things well over a mile away." I replied with a weak smile, not liking these new abilities of mine all that much.

"Class A badass." Sasuke chimed. "Will definitely come in handy with the war we're about to get involved in. So long as you don't get distracted by Naruto's ass, that is."

"Oi, watch it dickhead, you don't seriously think I'd let something that small distract me in a battlefield setting do you?" I scoffed and nudged his arm gently.

"Maybe?" Sasuke smirked to himself playfully.

"Whatever. So, how goes the Susanoo practice? Getting a hang of it?" I changed the subject, studying his tired and pained expression. "Must have quite the headache."

"Beats going blind from overuse." Sasuke shrugged and looked down at his hands, which were shaking from exhaustion. "Burns through my chakra quickly though, but these eyes haven't let me down so far." Sasuke smiled, but his eyes winced, as if thinking it was a sore subject of mine.

If anyone were to have my eyes, it would be him, and him alone. I shouldn't even be alive right now anyways.

"Anyway, how about you? You seem pretty tired today yourself. You looked like shit this morning. Are you not sleeping? Spill." Sasuke then asked, breaking my train of thought.

I looked up to meet his eyes, before looking over at my feet, frowning to myself silently. "You noticed... huh?"

"Of course I did. As angry with you as I am, I'm still care. Now spill. What's gotten you staying up all night? Is something wrong?" Sasuke asked with a look of worry and leashed anger.

I sighed heavily before scratching the back of my neck. "I don't really know to be fully honest. I have a very deep attachment to Naruto... its a bit scary actually. I don't know why, but him falling asleep, leaving me alone to myself, makes me irritated and restless. I can't... place... why I'm like that, but stressing over recent events isn't helping my state of mind. I want to protect him, and watching him fall asleep... makes me feel like he's weak?" I tensed a little as I realized then, why I kept patrolling the halls all night.

"Weak?" Sasuke huffed, as if he didn't understand.

"He's vulnerable while he's asleep. He can't defend himself in that state, and while he sleeps its hard for me to sleep right on with him, especially now with war on our doorstep. I've had comrades get slaughtered in their sleep in the past, things no one should see so young." I winced to myself and gripped onto my arms tightly. "Seeing him sleep so soundly, leaving me alone, drags me back to those nights and activates my protective mode. I just... can't switch it off. These deeper emotions since coming back to life don't help that."

Sasuke nodded, listening to every word without a judgemental look. He waited for me to finish before speaking again, his eyes softening only slightly, but just enough to warm my ice-cold heart.

"That sucks, Itachi. But Naruto isn't some average Joe. At his current ability, he couldn't be snuck up on even if someone was able to completely mask their chakra and intentions. I mean... have you seen his chakra?" Sasuke huffed aloud, looking at me in muted shock. "It... is inhuman."

I agreed with that last statement with a small nod. I, however, couldn't just switch that response off. I could try, but once we are actually in the war, I don't think I'd be able to sleep much. I outwardly sagged and looked up at the canopy, watching the sunlight flicker between the leaves in a nearly blinding way. I could feel heat from under the clothes, sure, but it just wasn't the same as having the sun kiss my skin directly in a welcoming way.

This was just suffocating.

"Is the sun bothering you?" Sasuke suddenly asked me.

I closed my eyes and tried to feel the breeze through the thick clothes, I couldn't, but I imagined it for my own sake.

"It's not the Sun's fault." I whispered quietly, an image of Madara's mask popping into existence.

I bit my teeth together in anger, blood seeping across my tongue in a foul way as his eyes bored into mine, sadistic lust for war, blood, chaos, and total destruction within them. The way they gazed down at Naruto when we first left with Danzo's body to one of Orochimaru's hideouts. The glare of desire and knowing the impact his presence had on him.

"Lingering on Madara...hn." Sasuke spoke through the silence as my anger continued to rise and rise, frustration filling my guts. "Yeah... sounds right. I'd want to kill him, too."

Both Sasuke and I shot to our feet as a sudden rumble erupted from Naruto and Bee's direction. Sasuke went to run, but the chakra I sensed flooded my system with shock and grabbed the back of his collar in time for a ball of condensed chakra fly in front of our bodies, past us and into a thick portion of forest, before erupting in a deafening explosion.

My body went numb, and my whail of agony went unheard by me as I became weightless and deaf for a split second after a deafening roar screamed through my bones. I grabbed my head, and something warm and familiar covered them almost as fast as I did. I kept whailing, hard, feeling my throat burn, eyes wide and seeing white.

My world was momentarily defined as nothing but the purest of pain.

My feet kicked and dug themselves into the dirt beneath my body. I pushed my head into the person that was holding me. My hat fell off, but no burning sensation followed, something going over my head as I was primarily focused on the pain I felt.

Slowly sound slowly started to form underneath the loud ringing in my ears.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I'm so sorry!" Naruto's faint voice kept on repeating frantically. "I lost control over it! I didn't mean for it to fly this way!"

"DAMN STRAIGHT! MY EARS WONT STOP RINGING, LOSER! GOD!" Sasuke shouted someplace nearby. "IS ITACHI ALIVE!?"

I stopped kicking, shocked nerves trying to function normally after the concussion of sound that just assaulted my body. I couldn't stop the shaking as they tried and failed to return to normal.

My vision clarified after five minutes of laying there, my hands sliding off my ears, but the warm ones remaining, caressing the skin behind them. I tiredly whimpered, looking through the slits in the mask to find Naruto staring down at me with the biggest look of guilt on his face. I shakily reached up and cupped that fearful face of his.

"I-Its fine. But please, never do that again so close to me?" I asked softly.

"I'm so sorry, Itachi, I didn't mean it, honest! I'm so relieved it didn't hit you guys!" Naruto whimpered.

Bee was holding a thick black umbrella over us, looking down at me with an apologetic stare. I weakly looked over at Sasuke to see him staring at me with a mixed expression. I gave a heavy sigh and shakily sat myself up, Naruto helping me.

"Easy." Naruto whispered, moving over to where my hat fell and grabbing it. "Here you go."

I looked down at the straw hat for a couple of minutes before taking it with a soft thanks. I put it on, and Bee closed the umbrella and moved off to where he and Naruto had come from, muttering under his breath about my condition and how dangerous it was to be out during the daytime.

I rubbed my ears one more time before standing, wincing to myself as my world spun. The raging headache that plagued my head made my stomach hurt to the point I wanted to vomit. I grumbled and grabbed my mask tightly. Naruto silently watched with heavy concern, and seeing his worry made me feel on edge.

I reached over and ruffled his hair, shivering as his aroma flooded my senses in a pleasant way. I leaned forward, ignoring lingering eyes on us and placed my masked forehead against his. His eyes widened slightly, vibrant blue asking so many silent questions and uttering unspoken apologies.

"Well, all negativity aside, that was some mighty firepower." I whispered, unable to bear talking any louder.

"Y-yeah. It's the Tailed Beast Bomb. It's constructed similarly to a rasengan, but it uses different types of chakra and condenses them into a rapid spinning ball! It's scarily powerful and super difficult, but Bee can pretty much use it at will." Naruto puffed his cheeks out, leashing his eagerness to acquire the power he was training for.

"Hn, well, he's probably been doing this longer than you've been alive." I smiled weakly before pulling away.

"Are you okay?" Naruto then asked, his attention solely focused on my well-being, making my insides catch on fire in a good way.

"I've got the worst headache of my life, but otherwise, yes. How about you?" I then asked, glancing guiltily at his neck.

Naruto cupped my masked face, turning his head to the side to hide the scar from my line of sight with a knowing look. He then gave me a broad grin.

"Better than ever. I've finally got a grip on things. No more blind rampages, no more episodes. This is the most peace I've felt in... well, a long time... despite everything about to happen." Naruto hummed softly.

I hummed and began to walk us back to where he was training. I tiredly surveyed the thick trail of destruction that Yamato was in the process of repairing, growing new trees to cover the deep groove that justu caused. I couldn't help but stare in awe.

Seeing what he was now capable of... settled a massive chunk of worry in myself. It fizzled out, like a blaze I didn't know was raging. Maybe... maybe now that he was capable of such power, we could spar on equal ground?

"Once I nap, once the sun goes down. We should try sparring again." I spoke aloud, gaining his attention.

"Are you sure? Last time when you bested me, you freaked out." Naruto frowned, visibly unsure.

"Yeah, I'm confident things will go better this time." I shrugged and folded my arms. "You're on another level. Sure, training with Bee is probably good for your powers, but strength? Fast-paced fighting? Refinement? All me." I winked at him even though he couldn't see.

"Alright. But if you don't feel comfortable, you can always stop the fighting, and we can find another time to train together. Maybe you can go a little harder on me now? You need to let loose a little, stop holding back, and find your limits." Naurto listed, giddely looking to me. "I wonder how strong you are!!!"

His cute display of excitement made me chuckle to myself.

Ah... I adore him.

We made it back to the building and parted ways. Naruto went off to train, and I went up to our bedroom and removed all of my daytime clothes. I changed into a simple pair of black paints and a sleeveless vest shaped  red top. I settled on the bed, tiredly gazing at the ceiling while listening to my brother make snappy quips to Guy and Yamato. Naruto's training resumed shortly after I got settled to, and my nerves calmed down completely.

The day vanished quickly once I fell asleep, sleeping off my headache and frustration. I didn't wake on my own. Instead, I was woken up by my brother, shaking me gently out of a very deep sleep. I tiredly grumbled in frustration and turned over, settling back down in the nest of blankets.

At least my headache was gone...

"Oi. It's evening. The sun's going down. Get up." Sasuke demanded, shaking me again.

I swatted at his hand a little harder than I meant to get him to stop. He snarled and yanked himself away from me, grabbing his hand in pain.

"Ow! Fuck! Easy!" Sasuke snapped.

"Hnng... five more minutes." I whispered quietly, eyes fluttering before shutting again.

"No! Dude, I get it. But wake up! You don't get the luxury of sleeping in while we bust our asses all day! Up!" Sasuke kicked the bed with all of his might, making me jolt upwards, wide awake in shock.

"Okay, okay, I'm up!" I grumbled and shoved my blanket off of me, already dressed in the outfit I was going to wear.

Sasuke folded his arms triumphantly and left the room with the door open. I listened for any sounds of fighting or training, but all I was met with was conversation and Guy sparring with Yamato outside. I yawned and moved off the bed, putting on my sandals and leaving the room, following after Sasuke, half awake and drowsy.

My headache was mostly gone, still there, but nothing like it was after Naruto's powerful bomb jutsu went off next to me and Sasuke. I looked at him, finding he was standing slightly slouched and tired. His clothes had been washed, but he still looked like he was training all day. He smelled of food pills and rice, signaling he must have eaten and replenished some of his chakra supply.

I then rolled my shoulders and popped my arms and neck, preparing mentally for the night filled with training and sparing. I was tempted to go out on the ocean and train there, but I didn't want to chase a rapidly moving island, I decided against it in the end and prayed I didn't obliterate the wildlife.

"Alright, I got the sleeping beauty up. Took me forever." Sasuke huffed once we made it to the lobby.

Naruto and Bee were waiting patiently with Motoi, everyone regarding me with curiosity and wonder. Naruto just looked to me with curious eyes, searching for any pain in my features.

"I'm much better. Almost didn't wake up, though." I chimed in greeting, walking up to everyone and cocking my hip to the side. "So. When do we start?" I asked, giving Naruto a knowing smirk since my posture made his cheeks a little rosy.

"Right away. Let's see what you're made of. Let's get this this night time training day started! Yeah!" Bee smirked and walked outside. "Shit. That doesn't go. Better work on my night time flow. Yeah! Oh, come on, it wasn't that bad. Stop trippin' man." Bee then started rambling to himself, making me shake my head to myself.

"Move it, sun's just gone down so you're not going to combust into flame." Sasuke huffed and moved outside, following after Bee.

"Good lord, so moody." I folded my arms, shaking my head before looking to Naruto. "Both of you. Honestly, teenagers these days don't know how to act. No discipline at all." I complained jokingly before moving forward, feeling Naruto punch my arm lazily.

"Speak for yourself, Itachi." Naruto puffed out his cheeks.

He smelled like ramen and food pills too, seems everyone's eaten their dinner and prepared for the nighttime schedule. Naruto had small bags under his eyes, and he seemed generally tired overall. I felt a small bit of pride when he looked to me. He seemed so much happier than he was a couple days ago. He looked a lot less stressed about how he felt and thought. There was confidence in those eyes, which used to be filled with nervousness and anxiety. They were flooded with stress, but it wasn't at the forefront of his mind, clearly.

"Hn." Was all I responded with as I moved outside, letting the warmth of sunset light hit my skin. I was so glad I was at least able to enjoy this type of sunlight.

I looked to the sky, marveling in the orange and pinks that decorated the sky, the brightest starts peaking faintly through the colors, with the moon already risen across the sky opposite to where the sun had set. Naruto was staring at me the entire time, seemingly taking in my features, rarely on display during this type of light. I felt eyes on me, more than just his. Bee and Sasuke has paused to look at me, making sure I was okay in this light. Yamato and Guy had paused as well, everyone looking to me and studying how I looked.

"You look incredible." Naruto whispered suddenly.

My eyes widened abruptly at the sudden breathy compliment and I looked to see him ogling me with wide eyes, flooded with awe and love. I felt a minty coolness spread across my face and neck then, blushing despite trying my best not to. I coughed into my hand and turned away from him and moved along the path and towards where Sasuke had been training earlier, letting those who wanted to come along follow me.

We made it to the clearing, and I started my training session off with some stretch routines I've memorized. I went through each part of my body, making sure there was no stiffness to my joints before standing up straight, having absolutely no idea where to even begin this training.

"Hm... what should I start off with?" I mumbled to myself, thinking that speaking out loud would help me think better.

"Remember! No holding back!" Naruto called from across the way, making me smile.

"Right then." I rolled my shoulders, activating my sharingan.

Might as well go all out.

"Susanoo!" I growled out, a burst of howling red chakra spiraling out around me, wrapping me up in a body that materialized from the waist up. The bones created a skeleton, and then skin and clothes wrapped around it, transparent to let me see through the layers.

In one arm, my Yata Mirror, and in the other, my Totsuka Blade. I gazed to them, feeling my chakra getting sucked out of my body and into this shield around me. I looked forward and held the shield ready and swung my blade forward. It clashed through trees, evaporating them in a fiery blaze before a wave of black flame spiraled around my Susanoo's form.

I then made the fire go away before holding my hands together, weaving signs before holding my hand to my mouth. My Susanoo copied the same gesture before a great ball if fire shot from its mouth, hurling forward and disintegrating every single plant in its path before it exploded a ways of, shaking my core and the ground beneath my feet.

"Okay... still going strong. There are no signs of tiredness yet." I noted, feeling the pain of this justu course through my body. "Still painful but not nearly as draining."

I looked over to the group to find a different display of emotions for each face. Bee looked dumbfounded and impressed. Naruto stared at my display of power in shock, shaken, but in awe at the same time.

Sasuke, however... was glaring my Susanoo down with a look of discomfort and deep seeded dread. I did use this to make him believe he was about to die, after all. I was dying then... from disease and going blind yet even on my last legs, I still managed to completely overpower my little brother.

He must truly be afraid of me. Even while alive, I was feared by most jonin even before I went rogue. I was a monster in my own way back then... now it's more literal.

I gave a heavy sigh before letting the form disperse. I grunted when the chakra vanished from around me, feeling a little pull but not by much. I looked around at the total devastation around me, not even sweating yet. I then looked to Naruto in silent question.

Are you ready?

He noticed the look and tensed slightly before sighing to himself with a shrug. He then walked across the clearing from where he Sasuke and Bee were standing, into the dead torn apart ground, about twenty or so feet from me with serious eyes.

A look of challenge. Accepting the question with a look that said 'absolutely'. He stopped walking and faced me, his eyes bleeding red before his skin erupted in a yellow-orange glow, his clothes morphing along with his form. Jinchuriki mode activated and squared off to me.

"Don't hold back." Naruto demanded.

"You too." I gave a calm response, taking a readied stance.

There was stillness, but then the world blurred around us, arms coming up to clash with one another in a heartbeat of time. We had simultaneously advanced on one another. His eyes clarified in front of me, striking red slitted eyes with full control, seriousness, and thrill glared at me, digesting every moment.

My leg swung for his stomach, but an arm jutted from his back to catch the blow. At the same instance, two more formed and weaved signs behind him. My sharingan red his movements, the jutsu he wished to cast, and I let him go and darted backward, weaving the same signs in twice the speed. His eyes widened a fraction before steeling over again, and his clones formed upward to around forty while I merely summoned ten.

It's all I needed, though.

Shadow clones advanced on one another. I ran behind the scuffle, weaving signs quickly before leaping into the air. I then inhaled before opening my mouth, shooting from it, a very heavy beam of lightning, a trick I picked up from Kakuzu in my time with the Akatsuki.

Naruto saw the incoming attack, and something was thrown at me from the ground, a wall of wind that sliced through the air and dispersed my justu before flying at me, throwing me back on the ground with a heavy thud.

I then pulled Kunai from my bag before throwing them over the crowd of the rapidly declining clones. They struck with a second round I had thrown immediately after, and all of them directed to Naruto. I took this opportunity to fly between the clones and at him just as my attack of weapons hit him. He dodged the majority, but a couple nicks were inflicted, flooding my senses with that near irresistible smell.

Bite him.

I brought a bladed hand down at him, one he immediately caught and struck away before trying to overpower me, arms forming and blocking while trying to hit my quickly dodging form.

Bite him.

My adrenaline began to pump through my body, and my teeth began to ache. I felt disconnected and almost numb as I was able to block the majority of his blows, taking a couple here and there, which made me happier than anything else. His clones grabbed me from behind and threw me backward. The moment I stopped going backward, his form was bearing down on me with a rasengan aimed for my stomach.

Bite him.

My world bled red as I swiftly moved out of the way while simultaneously grabbing his wrist and throwing him in a random direction as hard as I could with an involuntary snarl. I didn't waste even a single heartbeat as the world blurred around me, passing four figures as I followed that hypnotic scent calling to me. I found that beautiful glowing creature and slashed my hands down, growling and striking two arms that absorbed the blow. The ground groaned beneath the stress of the hit, and I felt a kick to my gut, hard enough to send me backward into a tree.

"Snake's mouth!" I hissed under my breath.

A giant snake of water flooded into the area in blinding speeds and sent Naruto running back as it gave chase. I panted heavily before lunging forward, breaking through several trees in my way like thin chop sticks. The snake was struck by a huge orange tail, ending the jutsu abruptly.

"Thousand Crows!" I hissed as I darted off to the side.

Bite him.

An explosion of sound erupted from everywhere. Crows flocking and flying around Naruto in a thick swarm. I heard his confused struggle and mild frustration and took the opportunity to stalk behind him as quietly as I was able. I waited, watching him try and fail to shoo them away with different methods, growing increasingly angry with the situation. I felt a surge and the ground left my feet. My hand outstretched in front of me, and collided with the back of his neck, slamming him head first into the ground. He let out a surprised grunt before vanishing in a puff of smoke, is body being replaced by a now splintered chunk of wood from a nearby tree.

I heard the distant sound of feet landing, and advanced on that area as fast as I could, gaining on him until I saw him, surroinded by more clones, and a rasengan slammed into my gut, sending me flying backward into the ground hard. I winced and immediately stood back up, feeling my stomach ache for a few moments before the pain faded under this weird fog invading my brain. His wounds have already healed, and made me reassess my situation. I could easily overpower him with my Susanoo but I didn't want to subject his body to that, nor did I want to run the risk of him hitting my Susanoo's blade. I then noted I was panting slightly, out of breathe and trying to catch it.

"Tsukuyomi" I whispered softly.

Our world spun around us, and Naruto went ridged against my hold on his mind. He blinked rapidly, looking around the empty world, an ankle deep oblivion of red blood with a setting sun stuck halfway down the horizon, reflecting my eyes. He was held suspended by chains that stretched upward into the endless sky, staring forward with a look of shock and nervousness as I stalked toward him.

"Beautiful." I whispered absently as the red sunlight hit him, decorating his body in such beautiful color.

I reached him, and just as I grabbed his neck, I let the illusion fade. Naruto looked ashen, standing frozen, dazed. I tightened my hold on his neck and dragged him back to reality. I felt my eyes strain themselves as I let our surroundings appear on fire to him. He blinked and looked around, knowing full well I was messing with him, using my eyes to warp his reality. He struggled finally, trying to pry himself free, but my grip remained like stone, refusing to break.

Bite him.

Bite him.

Bite him.

My nails dug into the back of his neck, drawing blood, flooding my senses with that delicious aroma I craved so strongly. However, before I tried anything, I let him go, watching as he stumbled back, almost falling off the branch we were standing on. I watched him silently before folding my arms, leaning against the tree.

"I think that's enough for today." I whispered, letting my eyes deactivate. "I'm feeling a little worn."

"Yeah, you don't have to tell me twice." Naruto sighed and let his tailed beast mode dissipate with a relieved look on his face. "Are you okay?"

"Not really. You smell intoxicating." I replied quickly, unable to hide the growl and lustful look directed at him.

"Well, maybe before we sleep, you can drink some?" Naruto offered.

I was on him in a flash and hugged him close, hearing a soft gasp from him. I hopped us to the ground and shoved him against the tree trunk we were standing near, and kissed up his neck, trailing needy kisses until I stole his lips. Naruto shuddered under me before wrapping his arms around my neck. My brain was still hazy, but I remained in control of myself enough to not outright bite him, as much as I was dying to.

"Mmm~." Naruto moaned against my lips as my hands caressed over his chest, sliding down go the hem of his shirt before slithering inside.

I rubbed my way up those abs and across his pecks, dragging my nails against his skin before moving them to his back, sinking them down to his waist. I felt him shiver beneath me, making a cute soft gasp of air when I ended the kiss.

"I'll definitely give to gluttony later." I promised, kissing his forehead before letting him go completely. "Forgive me if I end up handling you a little rough. Though, you seem to enjoy a firm hand." I teased him, watching that face turn bright red. "Let's go. Everyone's waiting."

"Right."
