People, stop fishing for votes/comments. Seriously. Just because you vote on the two chapters of my story (but didn't comment), doesn't mean I'm going to vote and comment on yours. And following and immediately unfollowing me certainly doesn't motivate me at all.

So thanks for the two votes, but I don't even know if you actually READ my story or if you did whether or not you actually LIKED it. Because if you did read it and you did like it enough to vote for it (which is the point of votes--so don't ask me to vote on your damn story because there's no guarantee that I'm going to like it, especially if it doesn't fall under the type of stuff that I write/read), why would follow and then unfollow me?

That. Makes. Zero. Sense.

I'd have actually considered reading your story if you had commented on mine and told me what you thought about it, since that's what you want me to do with yours. But I'm not just going to hand out a bunch of freebies because you happened to vote on mine and followed me for a little while.
