Third POV

The Kuru family and the three Dwarka siblings were sitting in the dining room, it was the evening of the crowning ceremony. Most of the other guest had already left for their own countries.
The Kuru family had been convinced by Ananya and Karn to stay there for some more time.

The princes were on one side of the table talking with one another, the family was a little surprised to see them easily chatting with one another, no malice whatsoever. They had been joined by Dushala and the Dwarka siblings.

While on the other side sat, Maharani Gandhari, Rani Kunti, they were discussing about their kids. Joining them were Guru Dronacharya and Maha Mahim, who were equally pleased and surprised, of what they were seeing.

"Such gossip queen he is!" Ananya's voice floats in the room.

"Still, you talk with him." Karn says as the two are visible to the family.

"Saying, as if you don't." Ananya rolls her eyes.

The people looked at the friends surprised. They had changed their clothes and were wearing weird ones.

Karn beside her was wearing red thing, similar to what he wore in the ceremony, on top and for lowers he was wearing something, quite similar to what he was wearing in the ceremony, again.
Ananya was wearing a lengha, it was magenta in color. While on place of a blouse, she had a blue top, that hugged her figure and the sleeves extended to the elbows. The lengha had incarnate designs with golden thread and blue border. She looked gorgeous.

"I talk to him about politics." Karn defends himself.

"Kalinga's princess is so beautiful; I swear she has fallen from heaven." Ananya says in a too cheery voice. "Politics, my foot."

"It was once." Karn protests. "Plus, are you jealous?"

"First no. Second, Kalinga's princess is an actual bitch, the elder one. Third, I am just tired of him flirting with me. Third, he drones on and on about how I should be married and there are princes falling at my feet, yada yada yada. And fourth, no way am I jealous of it, just hate him." Ananya counts on her fingers.

"He flirts with you?" Karn questioned, eyes narrowing.

"If you can call it that. I have such urges to knock some sense in him." Ananya sighs. As she looks at the people in front of her.

"Hey!" she greets.

"Badi Bon!" Subhadra shrieks. "Dada!"
"You look so pretty!" she gushes. "I don't look nice in these kind of outfits."

"Who said that? You look fabulous in dresses." Ananya frowned.

Subhadra hums in reply, "I do. But you look good in all of them."

"That is due to the fact that she carries herself in that way." Karn pitches in.

"You mean to say, I don't carry myself nicely?" Subhadra asks narrowing her eyes. "You are such a Meany." She huffs.

"I just said that she doesn't care what she wears, she is in her own complete ease at whatever she wears because she has been wearing them since a long time." Karn explains. "Whereas you have not worn them much, neither do you wear them daily."

"You are right." Subhadra pouts.

"I am always right." Karn says smugly.

"What are you a, compass?" Ananya asks. He raised an eyebrow at her, giving her a 'do- you- think- I- am- an- idiot' look.

"I am your boss, here around, you do remember right? I can order you around." Karn tells her.

"Bastard!" Ananya whispers under her, Karn rolls his eyes in reply.

The others watch in shock as they interact and settle themselves near the youngsters.

Yudhishthira was lost at the way they flirted. It is against Dharma to be like this, isn't it?
Bheema was wondering what kind of relationship they actually had?
Duryodhana wasn't sure weather this was just show or they are always like this?
Arjun had no interest in their relationship, he just wanted to know more about this Devrat Karn.
Dushassan wondered how it felt to have this kind of relationship, with someone.
Sehdev was wondering if their situation would turn like the ones he had read in the books.
Nakul was drown in the thoughts of why they were like this?

"Where did you find these dress from?" Sehdev questions.

"It was a gift from my cute brother here." Ananya answers, motioning towards Krishna, who flashes everyone a heart- breaking smile.

Ananya sitting down. And Karn follows.

"You look quite beautiful." Nakul winks at Ananya, he was directly in front of her. Ananya looks at him amused but neither considers it nor dis- regards it.

"Why are we here?" Ananya asks, nobody in particular.

"Because maybe, you have no other work." Krishna shrugs. Ananya hums.

"Say Princes, how was the stay in the town?" Karn asks. As the brother gape at him, before remembering seeing them.

"I wonder if anybody survived your cooking." Ananya asks, looking at Duryodhana and Bheema.

"They did!" both the boys protest as the others smile and chuckle.

"It was fairly new experience, you know." Yudhishthira says, silently.

"Of course, it was." Karn nods. "Would you ever like to try it again?"

"Depends." Yudhishthira shrugs.

"Nice." Karn nods.

"For how long have you guys stayed in the normal environment?" Sehdev asks.

"Since I was seven." Karn says.

"I have spent one years at the most, in palace." Ananya answers.

"Really?" Bheema says surprised. Ananya nods in answer.

"Why?"

"Do you really think, I would survive if I had lived in the palace?" Ananya questions, raising an eyebrow.

"You do have point." Bheema agrees grudgingly.

"Where did you stay, princess?" Yudhishthira asks.

"With my mother." Ananya says. "The one who took me."

Awkward silence fell on the youngsters, they didn't knew what to say.

"Devi Ananya!" a voice called. All the heads snaped in the direction.

"The things for called for are here." Awasthi ji says.

"Wonderful, can you please get them placed in my room?" Ananya asks.

"Of course." Awasthi ji nods before walking out.

"What is it?" Karn asks.

Ananya gives him a look and he nodded the next instant in understanding.

"Di?" Krishna called when the two friends were done with eye talking.

"Yes, Keshava?" Ananya asked looking at younger brother.

"We are going back to Dwarka tomorrow." He informs her.

"Hmm, why? Missing your new wife?" Ananya wriggles her eyebrows as the rest of them laugh.

"We need to look after the kingdom, you know." Krishna gives her an impassive face.

"I do know, brother dear, but I highly doubt, you are going back because of that." Ananya says. "Plus, Dwarka doesn't actually need a ruler. The land itself is flourished."

"You mean I have no work?" Krishna asks incuriously.

"I mean of course, there are some." Ananya agrees. "But aren't they all done by Bala?"

"Thank god! Somebody thinks, I work." Balram exclaims. "Everybody thinks that he is the one who works, plus, with his smile." He shakes his head.

All of them laugh.

"I am hungry." Ananya pouts, suddenly.

"So suddenly?" Arjun asks.

"Must have been since a while, now it got a lot bigger." Ananya shrugged.

"That is so idiotic." Dushala commented.

"Are you calling your elder sister, idiotic?" Ananya narrowed her eyes at her younger sister.
