Third POV

"Leave Avanti, immediately. If I hear that even your ghost was roaming anywhere near our kingdom, I will ensure that your death comes early. GET IT!?" She literally screams at the end.

Jarasandh nods mutely, before walking out of the court room. His face, having fear, that nobody had seen before on his face. He was to in shock to retort to her. His ego had been bruised, and the people who knew Jarasandh knew that he would not stay silent.
But then seeing Ananya, they doubted that he could cause much harm to the kingdom of Avanti.

"I am proud of you." Bhagwan Parshuram says. The implication of the line was clear, he wouldn't hear anything to dis- respectful towards her or for that matter any lady.
Bishma shivered remembering his fight he had against his Gurudeva on similar matter. He would never like to go through that again, not that he was dis- respecting any lady or something.

"I think, that was enough evidence that there is nobody much more deserving than her, as my second- in- command" Karn asks the silent court room.

Nobody spoke up, her strength and power had just been tested by Jarasandh and nobody in the room wanted to go through it really.

"Great, we proceed." Karn smiled.

Bhagwan Parshuram discussed something with the Pandit and motioned Ananya to come over.
"You need to pledge your loyalty to the Kingdom of Avanti."

Ananya nods her head, folding her hands in respect at the old sage. She walks up the steps where Karn was seated and knelt on the last step.

"I, Ananya Yadav Kumari, the daughter of Vasudev and Devaki, pledge my loyalty to respected Devrat Karn, the Maharaj of Avanti." She vows.
"Never in any circumstance shall I let any ill befall on him. I will give up my life if it means to save him and will die fighting only."

"Today, in presence of this court, and Bhawan Parshuram, I pledge myself in the loyalty of Maharaj Devrat Karn." She finishes. Raising her hand in a half cup sort of way, she bought it between her eyes and bowed her head ever so slightly. Blinking her eyes in re- assertion.

All the people in the court, noted that she vowed to Maharaj Karn and not to the throne.
Why would she do that?

Karn smiled at her, "I accept the oath."

Bhagwan Parshuram walked up the stairs with and comes to stop in front of Ananya who had raised from her previous position.

"May you have the power to full- fill your job always." He blesses her. She bows her head in respect, accepting the blessing.

A Dasi with a sword on plate stepped ahead and Bhagwan Parshuram picked it up, from the plate. Ananya had gone down to one knee in front of him.

"With this sword, I thrust upon you the responsibility of being the second in command of Maharaj Karn of Avanti." Bhagwan Parshuram said.

The sword given to her was a pitch black one, with golden markings on it. It wasn't normal looking but shaped like a trident, wherein the middle part of t was much larger extended than the other two. It was gorgeous, and none like the people had ever seen before.

Ananya accepted it, and raised the sword to her head, as if asking for its blessing to use it. Opening her eyes, she stood up tall, just beside Maharaj Karn. Her sword at her side, and her stance of that of a warrior.

"Adhyaksh Ananya Devi Ki Jai!"

"Maharaj Karn Ki Jai!"

"Adhyaksh Ananya Devi Ki Jai!"

"Maharaj Karn Ki Jai!"

Both the said people folded their hands and accepted the congratulations.

"The food feast has been prepared, please join us all there." Ananya declares.

Slowly the guest pile out of the room. Awasthi ji holds the Kuru family back.

"Papa!" Karn calls, as he takes his father's blessing.

"Ayushman Bhava Putra." Bishma blesses his son, with tears in his eyes.

"What did I say about tears, papa?" Karn asks, exasperatedly.

"How will I stop the happy ones, son?" Bishma asks. Karn simply shakes his head, hugging his father close. Pulling away after few minutes, Bishma kisses his sons' forehead, lovingly.
The others were happy to see such a lovely bond between the father and son. They were happy to see them like this, they had never seen their Pitamah or their Tat shree like this. The simple gesture touched their heart.

"Bless me too, uncle." Ananya touches his feet.

"Un- married ladies don't touch elder's feet, Ananya." Bishma doesn't let her touch his feet.

"Why? Why only ladies?" Ananya questions rising. "Why not boys too?"

Before Bishma could say anything, she continues, "Is it because, boys need more blessings, they go endangering their life at every other thing, after all."

Bishma laughs as Karn glares at her, "Excuse me! You went challenging that Jarasandh."

"You didn't stop me." Ananya shrugs.

Karn wraps his hand around her neck. "I was enjoying it too much."

"What an idiot!" Ananya exclaims, as she hits him mockingly.

"Why did you take an oath towards Karn and not the throne of Avanti?" Bishma asks, he wanted to know it, since she had said it.

"I am here to help him, not anyone who rules Avanti. If tomorrow, someone takes over Avanti, I would never serve them. I am here to be beside Karn, and nobody else." Ananya says proudly.

"Aww, I love you, babe." Karn teases her.

"Sad. I hate you."

The princes look at them in shock. What are they up to? Are they always like this?
The other day also, when they were flirting like this.

"Nah, not possible. I am very sweet." Karn tsks.

Ananya removes his hand from around her. "I haven't tasted you. So, I don't find you sweet." She winks at him, walking to where her siblings stood, just beside the part of Kuru family here.

The family watched the interaction wide eyed. They didn't knew what to think, it happened all too fast and drastically. They were also dumbfounded to see the way the two flirted with one another.

As she comes to stand in front of her siblings, Balram steps ahead to take her blessings. Krishna just a step behind.

"Pranam Badi Bon." Balram bends to take her blessing.

"Always stay happy." Ananya thumps him on the back. The sound echoing in all the room.

"How are you, Bala?" She pulls him in a hug. (A/N Sorry .... Not Sorry.)

"I am brilliant, Badi Bon." Balram smiles. She returns it, as she hums.

Krishna steps ahead, "Bless me too, Badi Bon."

"May you stay surrounded by girls." She blesses him laughing.

"Say Keshava, what have you been up to since the last month." Ananya asks as she hugs him.

"Me? I never cause mischief, do I?" Krishna asks and almost all the people snort.

"Come here you idiot." Karn pulls Krishna in a hug, after releasing Balram, whom he had been hugging as Ananya talked to Krishna.
"And don't lie. At least not in presence of Dharam Raj himself."

The said man, looks a little astonished at being mentioned.

"And by the way, very bad, where is my sister Rukmini?" Karn asks.

"In Dwarka, where else?" Krishna answers.

"Hmm, we met Brihannala but not our sister- in- law Rukmini?" Karn asks, discreetly looking at Arjun.

"You guys have not visited Dwarka in the last three months." Krishna pouts.

"So, if I don't come there, it would mean I won't met my sister- in- law?" Ananya raises an eyebrow.

"Oh! come on, Di, it has been too long to fight with you, na." Krishna wails dramatically. As the rest family watched in amusement.

"Come here, you big baby." Ananya pulls him in a side hug.
