-- Flashback –
A boy of mere age of fourteen and a girl of similar age stood beside one another, looking at the way ahead. They were waiting for something or perhaps someone.
Suddenly, the sound of chariot reached their ears, and in less than two minutes, a chariot came in to view. There were two boys and a small girl. The boys looked to be of 13 years of age while the girl looked merely of 10.
Once in front of the first pair, they got of their chariots and smiled at the pair in front of them. Before folding their hands in respect and greeting them.
"Raj- Kumar's." The girl spoke up. "Raj- Kumari. You guys called for me?"
"We did." The one boy who looks elder nods.
"May I know the reason?" The girl asks.
"You know that Kaki Harsha isn't your real mother, right?"
"What does that have to do with anything?" The girl raises an eyebrow.
"Badi Bon ..." the other boy speaks up. "I can call you that , right?"
"You may." The elder girl nods.
"Badi Bon, we know your real parents." He informs her.
"And they are?" The elder teen questions.
"Let's just say, we are siblings." He drawls slowly.
"You want me to believe that?" The elder teen questions.
"He is saying the truth, Putri." An old man steps out of the woods, behind the two pair of kids.
"Gurudeva?" The girl asks inn surprise.
"Yes, Anna. These are your siblings. You are the eldest amongst all." Anna's Gurudeva says.
"Pranipatra Guru Parshuram." The three siblings greet.
"Pranipatra Princes of Dwarka." Parshuram smiles back at them.
"OH!" Anna has a surprised expression. She turns to look at the other boy questioningly.
"They seem legit." He whispers, squeezing her hand.
"I have to agree." Anna whispers back, thankful that he is always with her.
"Bhrata Shree! Bhrata Shree!" The young girl calls.
"Yes, Subhadra?" The older boy sighs.
"Is she our elder sister?" 'Subhadra' asks.
"yes." The word hadn't even left his mouth, when the young teen, 'Subhadra' jumps on our Anna.
'Training as a Kshatriya had its perks in real life to. Especially If, there are siblings like this' Anna thinks.
It was the only thing that prevented the fall of Subhadra and her elder sister Anna, who also happens to be their eldest sibling.
"I was waiting for you since a long time, Badi Bon." Subhadra pouts in the hug.
Anna awkwardly hugs her back, "Uh- me too." She coughs out.
They pull away and Subhadra's attention diverts to the other person beside Anna, her 'Badi Bon'. It was a guy. Nearly, the same age as her elder sister.
"Who are you?" She asks the guy.
"Karn, Bishma Putra Karn." The guy answers.
"Can I call you, Dada?" She asks.
"I uh- guess, you can." Karn nodded exchanging glances with Anna and his Gurudeva.
"Pranipatra Vasusen." The boys greet.
"Pranipatra Balram, Krishna." Karn nods at the two brothers in understanding.
"So, you wanted to meet me for this?" Anna questions her just found brothers.
"Uh- yes." Krishan nods. Smiling at his elder sister.
"When did you learn about this?" Anna asks, and the three siblings looked sad.
"A week before we wrote to you." Balram says. "Sorry."
"There is no need to be sorry, Bala." Anna pulls him in a hug, making a nick name up, at the moment.
"Me too." Krishna says, once they pull away and Anna hugs him to laughing. Feeling actual brother love for the first time. Karn was no way her brother, a best friend, yeah that is what he is.
"Say Keshav, how are our parents?"
"They are doing fine; they don't we are here to meet with you." He says truthfully. But his tone was slightly down. "They are busy in their work, plus in kind of shock, hearing about you."
"We will be fine." Anna smiles at her three siblings.
"So, will you come with us?" Subhadra asks, hope in her voice and excitement in her eyes, as he looked at Anna.
"Sorry, Chutanki. But I can only come when both of us have completed our studies and obligations towards Gurudeva Parshuram."
"Oh!" Subhadra's face fell.
"Don't worry, I will come around as fast as I can." Anna pulls her in a hug, trying to pacify her just found younger sister.
Subhadra calms down and they are laughing and talking in no time.
"Oh, I remember!" Subhadra exclaims suddenly as she turns back to the chariot. She pulls a bag out of there and walks back to where the kids were seated. She smiled at their confused expression.
"What is it, Chutanki?" Anna asks.
"Rakhi!" Subhadra says excited.
"You are elder than me, so I thought ...." Subhadra trails off unsure of what to say. She looks down in her lap.
"Won't you tie it then?" Anna asks, her hand raised towards her sister.
"Of course!" Subhadra smiles delighted and ties the Rakhi around her elder sister's right hand. Who kisses her on the top of her forehead.
"Here, your gift." Anna hands her something wrapped in a cloth.
"But Badi Bon -" Subhadra started to protest and Anna cut her off.
"I won't accept a 'no'. You need to take this."
"Fine." Subhadra pouted but opened the gift. It was a dagger. A beautiful green and white dagger that had stones on it.
"Keep it with you always, ok?" Anna asks.
"Yes, Badi bon." Subhadra smiles. "I love it."
"Where is my Rakhi?" Karn asks.
"I have it. I have it." Subhadra shakes her head. Before tying the Rakhi on his hands, like she did for her sister.
Karn closes his eyes in concentration, after a minute, he raises his hand towards her. "Peak in it, Subhi."
Subhadra did as said and was delighted to find a sun shaped ring in there, the middle stone was yellow, while the rest were normal diamond kind.
"Thank you, Dada." Subhadra kisses his cheek.
Karn smiles at her, "If you are in danger, remember me. The ring will help you."
"Do you have more Rakhi's, Chutanki?" Anna asks.
"Yeah. Hear you go." She hands her elder sister two Rakhi's knowing why she was asking for it.
Anna ties the Rakhi on her brother's hand. Who happily promise to protect her.
"I doubt that will happen. Reverse, can happen." Karn snorted. And all of them laughed, happily.
For Ananya, The brothers had brought gift, one each.
Balram gifted her beautiful twin swords, they were different then the normal one's. Anna instantly fell in love with those.
While her Keshav had a necklace for her. It had a moon, one heart, three stars as the pendant. Anna wiped her tears seeing it.
(Balram)
(Krishna)
"The stars are we three siblings, while The moon is you. The heart shows the love between all of us." Keshav explained.
"I love it, Keshav." Anna had gushed at the sight of the necklace.
For Karn, Balram had Books while Krishna whispered something in Karn's ears, making his eyes go wide. Before he (Karn) started to continuously thank him.
