Q: Can I submit a oneshot compilation?

A: Yes, but please choose a specific oneshot you would like me to judge. It's difficult to judge multiple different narratives compared to other books having just one narrative and can potentially give an unfair advantage. Please choose one oneshot to submit.

Q: Are AI-generated covers okay?

A: Not for the Best Cover or Best Aesthetics category. If you are submitting it to a non-cover or non-aesthetics category, like Best Original Story, then that is fine since the cover is a very minor portion of the score, if even scored at all.

Q: Do any categories require completed stories?

A: Only the Best Short Story category. Otherwise, no. All other categories allow ongoing entries.

Q: I have a flash fiction. Should I put that in the experimental category or the short story category?

A: I would recommend the experimental category since short stories will have the advantage of far more words to tell their tale.

Q: Can I submit a shop or portfolio to any category?

A: Yes! Graphics shops and portfolios are welcome in the Best Cover and Best Aesthetics categories.

Q: Can my poetry be fanfiction?

A: Yes.

Q: What do you consider a short story?

A: Anything under 20k words. If you are submitting to the short story category, the story you are submitting must be under 20k words.

Q: I participated and/or won in your past contest(s). Can I sign up here, too?

A: Yes. I would ask you submit a different book than the one you won with if you have another book you'd like reviewed available, but that's not a requirement by any means.

Q: Why are you so short?
