BEST PROSE/LITERARY PIECE - INTRODUCTIONS

Hello, everyone! Welcome back to another batch of introductions & results! First, we'll start with introductions, and the results will be posted within the next 72 hours (might take me a hot minute longer since I still have two reviews to finish).

Question of the day: What is one of your favorite writing or reading memories?

Let's meet the participants of the Best Prose/Literary Piece category! Here are all of the participants and what works they are participating with:

anOverthinkingDevil with the work Guldastaa. anOverthinkingDevil, or Ipsita, is back with Guldastaa, an intense story covering dark topics, and if I'm remembering correctly, back during the beginning of this contest with the questions of the day, you cited Guldastaa as your favorite work to write! So, this work clearly means a lot to Ipsita, and after reading, I can see why. It's inspired by true events and experiments with different points of views and themes the average Wattpad book wouldn't dare cover. If you're looking for a new, mature read, then I'd say Guldastaa is your next book!

NotEvenEstella with the work Euphoria. Estella was just in the Best Fun Novel category with her book Swapped?!, which took home first place. Now she's here with Euphoria, an experimental short story (less than ten minute read) that experiments with colors, dreams, and the feeling of euphoria (hence the title). If you're looking for a trippy ride that gives nice nods to the show of the same name, then this is the story for you! I also recommend checking out Swapped?!, which is a short body swap story. Both of these won't take you too long to read, so if you have the time, I recommend them!

Milicaorevi7 with the work Divine Ascension. Milica received the prestigious runner-up position for Lighthouse in the Best Poetry collection category of this awards! Now, Milica is back, this time with a novel about Melinda Grey, who is a hero and legend in this novel's timeline. This is a fantasy featuring magic, dark armies, and a mysterious villain who has it out for our heroine; however, is our heroine as good as she seems on the surface, or is there a dark side of her that's waiting to break free? Divine Ascension explores all this and more, so I hope you give it a looksie, especially if you like fantasy! And, of course, I always recommend Lighthouse, so if poetry's more your speed, Milica has that, too!

SojourningGhosts with the book Hopheadicide. I've known Eliza/Sojourning for a long time, all the way back in the Quotev days, so trust me, you'll want to check out Sojourning's profile. There are 10+ works to choose from, including this wonderful one, Hopheadicide. This story is in its early stage, but despite only having two chapters & a prologue out, it's awesome. It's about Wylie, a man who is described as a "normal addict," only life takes a not-so-normal turn after an encounter with a toaster and water, leading to another dimension that will test everything Wylie knows. If you have some time, I strongly recommend checking out this work and giving Eliza your support!

Hella2025 with the book Eagle's Flight. Hella won with Yearning Soul (specifically with the poem titled "Conversations") in the Best Poem category in this awards. Now, Hella is back with Eagle's Flight, a creative retelling of the Greek myth of Prometheus, but this time from the perspective of Aethon. If you're someone who loves retellings and/or Greek mythology, then you're going to love this story. It hits the nail on the head for how to go about a retelling, and I think it'll suck you in. if you're looking for something new to read, Hella's profile is perfect for you!

Total Participants: 5.

Holy moly this was a tough category. I've read everything, and everyone did not come to play. I enjoyed reading every book, so I'm excited to share my thoughts!

Thank you for participating, and see you soon for results!
