^Vivi^

Don't get me wrong; flying is freedom.  Let's just say it wasn't fun when you were being chased by a gang of erasers.  After about three hours of flying, we took a brake close to Lake Mead.  Ash and Ali were flying above us while the rest of us were eating a snack.  Suddenly, a bullet whizzed by my ear.  Another hit Ali in the wing.  

"(Enter swear word here)."  I said.  "Vivi, take Ellani into a nearby cave.  Sam, we need to fight."  Sam nodded and she zoomed off to catch Ali.  Ash was battling erasers and I shot up next to her.  One threw a punch at me.  I easily dodged it and poked him in the sternum.  Feinting high, I aimed a round house kick to his gut.  He fell to the ground clutching his stomach.  To finish him off, I kicked him in the head. 

"IRIS!"  I heard an all-to-familiar voice say.  I turned around just in time to see Ash scooped up and throne into a helicopter.  I heard a loud crack and everything went dark.

I woke up at about dusk.  Sam and Ali were both passed out next to me in a cave.  WAIT!  A cave?  I bounced to my feet only to feel a sharp pain on my head.  Ignoring it, I heard Vivi's voice and another that I couldn't place.

"Hello?  Vivi?"  I asked in a dry, cracked voice.  Vivi came out with her wings drooping along with a girl.  The girl from my dreams.  "Th- They took Ash."

Vivi froze.  Running by her, I jumped off the cliff and snapped my black wings out.  Blinking back tears, I let my wings lead me to my destination.

I have an active mind...
