EPILOGUE

CHAPTER ELEVEN
ballad of two
new lovers and
the aftermath

The next morning, M/n found himself tangled in sheets with a very strong body sheltering his. It didn't take long for him to realize that the soft snores were coming from his bestfriend and lover, Goo Kim.

He smiled softly, gazing at his face as the sun peaks from the thick curtains.

Unsurprising enough, Goo was a clingy lover. The entire night, he could recall being pulled into different sleeping positions with arms enveloping his body and face shoved against skin—murmuring incoherent things even in his sleep.

This was exactly what M/n could define as fulfilling.

He had no regrets whatsoever.

Waking up with his lover's arms around his body and the heat betweent them creating a comfortable space beneath the covers made him never want to get up.

"Good morning." His husky voice sent a tingling sensation down M/n's body as he could feel the blonde nuzzle further into him like a persian cat.

"Good morning," M/n greeted, fingers tangled in blonde hair as he played with it in content.

"I don't remember you being such an early-riser."

"Well, somebody kept moving in their sleep."

Goo pouted, eyes still close. "That's when you know I slept well. If I wasn't moving then that'd mean you're sleeping with a corpse."

"You really know what to say, huh?" M/n mused, earning a very content hum from the blonde; he could feel the vibration from his bare chest that was pressed so close against his body.

"What do you plan to do today?"

"Me?" M/n thought about. "I'm supposed to join my mother and her friends for lunch but that's way past us now. I rather stay here all day with you."

"Funny, I had the same idea."

"We should probably call room service though, get us some very late breakfasts." M/n moves to sit up to the edge of the bed, reaching for the telephone on the nightstand.

Goo immediately pouts to have lost his warm pillow, falling flat against the mattress as he simply stares thoughtfully at M/n.

"Press. . . 1 for room service." He reads the little note before obliging, tapping the keys of the modern-looking telephone before letting it ring.

At this point, Goo has resorted to tracing shapes across his lover's back—finger gliding in a feathery touch that made M/n shiver from the ticklish pleasure.

"Hello? Room service, how may we help you today?"

"Can I have a. . ." M/n glances at the little brochure menu that already came with the room, looking over the choices. "Typical breakfast plate with a fresh cup of Black Ivory coffee and, um. . ." He glances back at Goo, cupping the lower half of the phone. "What do you want?" He asked, handing him the brochure.

The blonde sat up and curled his arm around his waist while holding the brochure with the other, huffing as he flips it back and forth.

"Can't I just have you for breakfast?" He asked with pleading eyes.

M/n pushed his face away, scoffing with a flustered look.

"I'll just have two of what I just said." He said to the phone, hearing the receptionist say something he couldn't quite process with how Goo's hands persistently snaked across his stomach while peppering kisses on his shoulders. "Uh, thank you." He barely mustered out in effort of ending the call, assured that it was already noted down at least.

The moment he lets the phone down, he turns towards Goo who only grinned at him slyly.

"You're so annoying." M/n huffs out, though the look in his eye showed how his words deceived him.

"But you love me and can't resist my irresistable sex appeal," the blonde flips his hair with a wink, making the boy snicker.

"You're such an ass," he said before slowly leaning in, eyes flickering down towards his lips. "But you're right, I really can't resist."

Then he slammed his lips agaist his own, feeling Goo grunt softly against his mouth—the sound making its way down his throat.

He didn't think a sensation could be this addicting.

Goo rolls them over back to the center of the bed, tangled once more in each others bodies—limbs reaching whatever skin they could run across. He pulls away briefly, hovering over him as as his loose hair wisps over his forehead.

"How many minutes until the food arrives?" He asked breathlessly.

"I don't know," M/n admitted. "You were being such a pest I couldn't hear a word she said."

Goo grinned at him at this. "Let's just hope we can hear the doorbell," he said before dipping his head once more.

When Park Jong Gun meets his colleague once again after a few days of not having heard anything from him—he didn't expect the sight he was seeing.

"What the hell happened to you?"

Goo stood before him, looking like his usual obnoxious self with the styled hair and black glasses framing his hideous face. But Gun couldn't help but be completely disturbed with what he was faced with.

Goo wore a shirt with the words 'I My BF', paired with a printed picture of M/n.

He looked absolutely ridiculous yet he wore it with the utmost pride.

"I just had the best weekend ever." The blonde grinned like it was self-explanatory, as if he didn't look like a deranged homeless man.

Gun casted him a long side glance, lips curling to a disgusted snarl as he observes the red marks littered across the exposed parts of his body and his subtly swolen lips.

Oh, well, it was better than having him weep and wail like an orphaned child.

"I won't even ask how it went." He didn't need to, the goofy lovestruck smile on Goo's face and the bounce back in his feet was self-explanatory enough. "You aren't going to collect debt like this, are you?" It was his first even seeing wear such casual clothes outside, he was usually donned in expensive suits and designer brands.

"Stupid," Goo scoffed. "Of course I will!"

He's gone mental.

At least the blonde will finally leave him alone, Gun sighed.

"How was your weekend outing, dear?"

Seated in the typical dining table, literally the only place they truly come togeher consistently everyday—M/n sat seated in his chair, in away better mood than he had been the past few days. Even the butlers were pleasantly surprised with the sudden change, wondering what could of happened in such short time.

"Fantastic!" He exclaimed, the spark back in his eyes.

"That's nice. . . But why are you wearing a full-body suit?"

M/n was wearing a black full-body suit beneath his typical house clothes, acting too casual about it. The truth? He was covering the odd marks that Goo left all over his body, he tried getting it off but after a thorough search through the web—he realized it wasn't that easy and these things were called 'love bites' and who was he to erase something that stems from love?

"I heard the sun's UV rays are getting more dangerous nowadays. I spend too much time outside my balcony so I'm taking extra precaution." He shrugged casually.

His mother paused thoughtfully at this, actually considering his idea.

"You look happier," his father noted. "I'm assuming it went well?" He was talking about Goo.

M/n nodded eagerly with a cheeky smile. "Mhm!"

His mother clapped at this, joyous that she didn't have to see him so sulky anymore.

"That's wonderful news! I knew my son will always be able to work things out," she praised. "Bring him to Dinner next time! Oh, I shall rent an entire restaurant, I wonder what would do. . . "

"As long as you know what you're doing." His father nodded, giving his approval.

M/n smiled brightly.

At least his family had no fuss, but then again, they were never against his ideas.

Glancing at the lock screen of his phone, he couldn't stop the warmth from climbing up his body. He didn't think he could love someone as much as he did Goo.

Constant updates, every waking hour spent indulging the other, random endearing objects 'just-because', always trying to make enough time to physically be with one another even for just a second—the loneliness felt far and distant to M/n, almost like a fever dream that never made it past the realistic realm.

If he had known this would be the outcome of thinking, he would have done it sooner.
