When Dean and I got home, Monique, Cas, Sam, and Sammie were waiting for us. "Hey," I said. "Hi. What have you been up to?" Monique asked. I shrugged and said, "Nothing much. But you guys look like something happened. Anything you wanna tell us?" I asked them with a smile.

They all shook their heads no. "Hey Cae, where'd you go?" Sammie asked me. I furrowed my eyebrows, and she said, "Well the last thing you said was that you were going to the bathroom, and then you just disappeared."

I stood there speechless as Sam said, "Now that I think about it, you said the same thing Dean." I looked over to Dean and he just gave a small chuckle.

"Right, well, see. I did go to the bathroom, but then I heard Caela screaming because there was a, uh, spider. So I killed it but she was so freaked out that she slipped and hurt herself, so I had to patch her up," Dean lied.

Our four friends looked at us and I just slightly smiled. Sam was the first to get up. "Right, well let me know when you are ready to tell the truth," he said. He continued to walk in between Dean and I and stopped in the middle of us and whispered, "Thanks guys it worked."

I smiled and looked at my other three friends. Cas left and Monique and Sammie went to bed after. I turned and looked at Dean. "Well, it looks like our plan was a success," I told him. "Yeah, and on the Brightside, they didn't kill us," he answered.

0"I nodded my head as I said, "Yes that's always a good thing. Dean smiled and nodded. "Well, I'm going to head to bed, but I had fun tonight," I told him.  "Of course you did, I'm a very fun person," Dean said. I rolled my eyes and let out a chuckle. I was going to go to bed, but there was one question I had to ask first. "Hey Dean, are things still going to be awkward between us?" I asked. Dean looked at me for a moment before answering, "No, I don't think so." I let out a breath of relief. "Good," I said. He smiled and said, "I mean I thought I felt something when we kissed, but bringing Sam and Cas together with Sammie and Monique, I remembered you were my friend. So, I'm, uh, over those feelings." I felt my heart shatter  but managed to put on a smile. "That's great. Well goodnight Dean," I said. I walked up to the hallway where my room was. I walked to Monique's room and went to knock on her door, but she was talking to Cas, and I didn't want to ruin her night with my problems. So, I walked downstairs to Sammie's room. Her door was open and she was cuddling with Sam. I was going to go in and try to talk to them, but I heard Sammie softly whimper. I looked sympathetically at my friend as I realized she was having a nightmare. Sam's arms tightened around her and I went back upstairs to my room. I laid on my bed and let only a couple of tears slip down my cheek before falling asleep.
