A/N: A fluff chapter.This is about the ship birdflash (Wally West/Dick Grayson)--one of my top otps!
Dick is autistic, but that doesn't bother Wally for one second. He is there for Dick always.

Gotham City|Wayne Manor|

Dick slowly woke up and turned to see his curtains open, allowing the bright and warm sun shinning into his bedroom.
He closed his eyes tightly and pulled his covers over his head. He was totally not feeling the aster and wanted to remain in bed all day long. He just hoped everyone else would allow him to hide from the world.

He then heard a knock on his door and he wanted to scream. Hr laid their as still as he could, hoping to be missed by the older butler but, Alfred was too smart for that.

"Master Dick, time to rise sir. You have school today and Master Bruce is awaiting your arrival in the dining room for breakfast." Said Alfred who walked over and slightly pulled the covers back, to reveal Dick to him.

Dick quickly brought his hands up and pressed them against his eyes. Alfred chucked and shook his head.

"I can still see you sir and yes you do still have to get up. I'll be waiting down in the dining room" he said and left Dick to himself.

Dick sighed then rolled over, pulling his covers back over his head and shut his eyes hoping to fall back asleep.

Moments later as he was about to fall back to sleep, he heard a whooshing sound, similar to the sound of wind. A small smile crept across his face, cheering him up a bit.

"Hey boo, can I join you?" Wally asked and Dick just slowly pulled down the covers enough to show Wally his eyes.
After a minute of thinking, Dick nodded his head.

Wally slowly walked over to the other side of the bed and looked at Dick, silently asking for permission before climbing into the bed. Dick nodded his head and Wally slowly crawls on to the bed and lays on his side, staring at Dick. Keeping his distance because he knows at times Dick hates to be touched.

They continue to look in each others eyes in silence before Wally breaks it.

"We have school today, first day dude, aren't you excited? Just a little bit?" Wally asked Dick, who shook his head quickly and pulled the covers over his head.
Wally lifted the covers and went under them also and smiled over at Dick. Finally Dick looked over at him and rolled his eyes, throwing the covers off of them and sat up quickly. He looked down at his hands in his lap. He started fidgeting with his hands and Wally sighed. Then Wally dramatically fell backwards on the bed. He spread his arms out wide.

Dick chuckled and turned to face Wally. He then reached forward and took Wally's hand in his and pulled him forward until he was sitting up. Dick quickly jumped from the bed and walked over towards his closet and looked inside it, not moving to take anything out of it. Wally walked over towards him, to where Dick could see him and grabbed his hand and brought it up to his lips and gently kissed Dick's knuckles.

Dick blushed and pulled his hand quickly away from Wally and grabbed his school uniform. Dick was a little bit on edge, he was super nervous about going to school, but this year Wally was going to his school and would be by his side the whole time, taking some of the nervousness off of him, but he kept fidgeting his hands, twisting and turning them.

He got dressed but he needed Wally's help with his tie, but didn't say it. He just looked down at his tie, twisting in between his fingers. Wally who was sitting on Dick's bed messing with his phone. Dick was biting his lower lip, biting it so hard that it was now slightly bleeding. He looked down at his tie, sending it deadly batglares at it. He then sighed in frustration and quickly threw his arms from his tie and marched over towards the bathroom.
Wally looks up quickly now to see Dick slamming the bathroom door behind him.

"Oh boy" thought Wally who walks over towards the bathroom door and knocks upon it.

"Dick...Dickie, can you open the door?" says Wally but he gets no response and tries the door knob and no shocker, it's locked. He closes his eyes and slides down the door pressing his back against it.
Just on the other side of the door, Dick is sitting the exact same way.

Dick has his knees pulled upwards, his elbows resting on top of his knees and his hands pressed against his ears. His eyes and held tightly closed and he rocks back and forth just a little bit. The tie, across the bathroom laying on the floor.

Dick looks up and over at the tie. "Damn thing" he thinks and listens to Wally talking to him on the other side of the door. It wasn't Wally's fault, so Dick reluctantly got up and unlocked the door but didn't bother to open it, Wally was more than capable of doing it on his own. He sat on the edge of the bath tub and stared at the floor, waiting for his boyfriend to enter.

It didn't take long for him to enter the room, as soon as he heard the lock he stood up. He entered quickly and looked at Dick and then pulled him into a hug. Wally's arms where wrapped around Dick's body, as his arms just hung by his sides.

The next thing they know is Bruce is yelling for them to hurry up.

Wally smiles at Dick and goes to get the tie but as soon as he brought it close to him, Dick pushed it away. Wally nodded his head then tossed it over his shoulder.
"No tie it is then" said Wally. He held out his hand and waited for Dick to take it.

Once in hand and hand they headed downstairs to eat breakfast then to head off to school for their first day.

Things started to go down hill, right in the middle of class. Dick soon became overwhelmed by the classwork and began to fidget around in his seat then turning his wrists around then finally tapping his pencil on the desk.

"Mr. Grayson-Wayne please quit that" said the teacher, but Dick continued to tap his pencil on the desk. "Richard enough" said the teacher loudly and Wally looked up at the teacher then over at Dick who was slightly rocking in his seat, tapping his pencil louder and even faster now. The teacher quickly walked over and snatched the pencil out of Dick's grip.

Dick froze, he stopped rocking and just stared down at his desk. Wally inched farther out of his seat, now sitting on the edge ready to jump in at any given moment.
Dick then pushed all his books to the floor, Wally didn't wait more.
He went straight to Dick and knelt before him, ignoring the teacher telling him to return to his seat.

"You want out of here?" Wally asked him, looking up at Dick who still didn't make eye contact with him. Dick nodded his head just a bit and that was all he needed to get up and take Dick with him.

Wally stood up then pulled Dick up onto his feet and pushed him into the direction of the door and left. Looking back at the teacher and sending his own batglare.

As soon as they were in the hallway, Wally walked around and stood before him.
"I'm going to pick you up now" said Wally and Dick silently nodes his head.

Wally picks Dick up quickly and then in a flash races out of the school, all the way to Central City's park. He gently sets Dick down upon the grass and studies him before sitting down before him.

Dick's hands are immediately in the grass, twisting and pulling strains of grass.

Dick's breathing then takes a hitch and Wally moves closer trying to show him that it is alright, that he is safe. He rubs small smoothing circles on his back while Dick continues pulling at the grass and breathing heavily.

"It's okay Dickie. It's alright. It's just you and I, no one else. You're safe, you're okay. I got you" says Wally who leans forward slowly, giving Dick enough time to pull away but he doesn't pull away. Wally smiles then kisses his check gently.
He then brings his hand up to crests Dick's check as hr begins to hum and rock back and forth slightly.

Wally leans his head to lay in upon Dick's shoulder and he closes his eyes, listening to Dick humming and his breathing.

"I love you" says Wally and turns his head and looks up at Dick's face. Dick is totally focus on pulling and twisting the grass. Wally knows Dick heard him, he just isn't able to speak right now, he's just too worked up at the moment.

But Wally hopes one day soon he'll heard his Dick say 'I love you' back to him.

In the meantime, he will here at Dick's side through anything and everything because that is what you do for the one you love. You give yourself, your whole self to that love because that person means the whole world to you.

Wally laid his head back down and then smiled when he saw Dick smile.
That was Dick's way of saying thank you and I love you too.
