LUNA
After that talk with Felix, Kai found me. He was very frustrated about what I did but I showed him that I didn't care. We went back to Elite. It has been a very long time since I've been back here but instead of being overjoyed...

I felt sick.

"Lunaaa! You're back!" Aira greeted me with a warm bright smile and was about to pull me in for a hug but I avoided her. She pouted, "Can't you at least hug me? I missed you!" She says.

"No, we're not that close for hugs." I bitterly said, shoving her aside and walking past by her. Kai was behind me and I even heard him talking to Aira.

"You'll have to excuse her, she's not in the mood"

"It's okay! Ah... also what should we do about Jackson Wang? The higher ups from korea? They'll surely make a fuss about Felix's arrest...."

"For now, use any means necessary to keep the news from reaching to them"

As I walked away from them, their voices faded away, a devious smile emerging on my lips as I heard extremely important information that may unambiguously assist for my plan to break Felix out of jail — legally.

I'm going to take a break from breaking the laws in this country.

I entered the room Kai provided for me when I first arrived here as an Elite agent. I secured it with a lock so nobody could enter it. My fingers pulled out my phone, scanned through my contacts, and contacted a familiar number.

"Kiera? Are you okay? Oh wait, I guess you're not Kiera but Luna, right?" Jooyeon, from the other line, bombarded her with a lot of questions which she couldn't answer in one go.

"Shut up, I'm angry at you at the moment." I say.

"Aw, cmon I was just doing what I thought could help you." I could feel him pouting from the other end of the line. I rolled my eyes.

"Get me contact information of Jackson Wang from Korea from the higher ups that deals with mafia related business. Remember, you owe me one." I reminded.

"Shouldn't it be you to owe me one? I mean, my witness was a help to avoid you going to jail!"

"Shut the fuck up and just carry on the errand I'm giving you." I said through gritted teeth, eyeing the door from time to time in case if someone suddenly decides to break the door open.

"Fine, fine." Then, he abruptly ended the call. I looked at the black screen for a moment, bewildered of what he just did. Maybe being with Kai had changed something in him, he acquired a lot of guts.

JISUNG

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN SHE'S NOT GUILTY?" Jisung was aware of the trial's outcome. Kai's favored agent, Kiera, appeared to have wiggled her way out of the problem and had someone else take the blame for her instead.

"Their evidences were on point with their claims and the other suspect confessed everything he did. I'm sorry sir, I knew how much you wanted that girl to go to jail but there's not much we can do." His subordinate said. Jisung ran his hand through his hair in frustration.

He was 100% sure that Kai did something to mess with the trial and for it to go according to his will. Maybe he even had the judge of the trial wrapped around his fingers.

That's how powerful he is. Well, in italy, that is.

"We should give this case up, detective. Our strongest evidence were the earpiece and the badge. Union members are already in jail, there are some who're still on the run but our team is tracking them at every second so isn't that enough?"

Jisung glared at his subordinate, "That is nowhere near enough! This isn't enough to take down Elite. It isn't..." He curled his fingers into a fist.

- flashback

"Kill her, jisung." Jisung was an agent sent to assassinate a girl for discovering all there was to know about Elite. After she was discovered attempting to breach Elite's system, he was dispatched to try and catch her. He eventually cornered her in a back alley.

She had her laptop on her hand as she looked at him with fear in his eyes. She was on the ground since her legs gave up on her. "Kai, she's not someone who's done anything wrong—"

"KILL HER AND DESTROY THE LAPTOP!" Kai shouted over the earpiece. Jisung was opposed to it; his morals were against it. He joined Elite upon learning that it is an organization that destroys nefarious individuals while remaining hidden in the shadows.

— Except now that he's been assigned a mission to assassinate someone who's done nothing except learn about Elite, he's doubting Kai's judgment. He sighed, took out the gun he was carrying and pointed it at her.

The girl closed her eyes tightly, and at that moment, seeing the girl look so frightened, Jisung realized he didn't want to do it. He lowered his rifle, which puzzled the girl and caused her to open her eyes again to gaze at him.

He took off his earpiece and turned it off so that Kai can't reach him but he can still track his location down if he wanted to. He extended his hand to the girl.

"W-What..." she says in italian.

"Get up." He stated unequivocally. It took a few moments for the girl to accept his hand and he pulled her up. He took his revolver and tucked it beneath his leather jacket. He was ready to walk away when he felt a tug on his jacket.

He traced the hand tugging on his jacket and saw the girl, keeping the laptop close to her chest, as her other hand tugged his jacket. "Y-You're not... going to kill me?"

Jisung sighed, "No. Go home." He said but the girl didn't let go. He pulled his head back in frustration and exhaled. "What do you want?"

"Will other agents come after me and kill me?" Was she worried about dying? That was Jisung's first initial thought.

"No, I'll tell them you're dead so—"

"No!" She suddenly cut him off which made him furrow his eyebrows. What was her deal? "Don't save me. I wanted to do this because I knew it would result to my death." Her voice was not that loud but Jisung still heard what she said and what she meant by it.

After that, Jisung decided to take her with him. He hid her in the place he was staying. She wanted to die but somehow she never tried ending her life herself. Jisung discovered things about her.

She wanted to die but she was too scared to commit suicide. She was scared of what comes after ending her life, was it darkness? Eternal punishment? She didn't want to know.

After hearing about Elite, she began to dug deep. She concluded that if an organization was trying their every power to hide their very existence then it would be troublesome for them if someone who wasn't a part of the organization knew a lot of information about them. She assumed that their first decision was to kill her so she went for it, in hopes of getting killed by an agent.

She was right. The organization sent someone to kill her but the agent gave up on doing so. She didn't held any grudges to Jisung but she still didn't give up in getting killed.

Jisung grew closer to her. They built a bond much closer to friendship.

He loved her

— but loving someone who desperately longed for death wasn't easy. He tried his best to make her forget about death, he confessed, she reciprocated, they fell in love, and...

their story ended with a simple pull of a trigger.

"No... no... no..." Jisung's eyes trembled in terror at the sight of his lover bleeding right in front of him. She lost her life immediately as soon as her body landed on the ground, he knew she was gone. It was too late. "Ysa..." he called her name one last time.

Kai's footsteps grew closer to him, he stopped at the lifeless body of ysabella and kicked it to sure she was dead. "You said she was dead months ago, Jisung? You lied?" Kai asked. His face held a very shuddering expression.

"WHY DID YOU KILL HER!? BASTARD!" He grabbed Kai by his collar, his bodyguards at his back pointed their guns at Jisung who was attempting to harm Kai.

Kai raised his hand at his bodyguard, indicating to lower their weapons, they followed. "You were supposed to kill her, why did you lie?" Kai say.

"Because it was wrong! She didn't do anything wrong! She didn't harm anyone—" Kai landed a punch on Jisung's face as Jisung landed on the ground.

"She posted an article regarding our organization. It's not my fault that you were too busy smothering kisses, giving cuddles, and doing whatever love shit with that woman!" He said, raising his voice.

Jisung went quiet before standing up, wiping the blood on the corners of his lips due to the punch Kai gave him. "I don't give a single fuck about your organization anymore. If this is how you run it then I don't want to be in it." He spits the blood on the ground and glared at Kai.

Kai jaw clenched. Jisung was expecting another punch or even worse, a gun being pointed at his forehead and blowing his head off, but none of that happened.

Kai basically just turned his back on Jisung and went out of his apartment, leaving Jisung feeling the cold atmosphere in the room and realizing that he has lost a part of him, ysabella.

- end

Jisung became a detective after that, thinking that he might be able to take down Kai's organization. His burning rage and hate hadn't ceased even if years had already passed.

LUNA

I instantly grabbed my phone and dialed Jackson Wang's number once Jooyeon messaged it to me. I waited for him to pick up while tapping my fingers. When the ringing stopped, my face brightened up because it meant he had picked up or someone else had.

"Hello?" A man's voice erupted from the other line.

"Is this Jackson Wang?" I asked.

"Yes, who's this?"

I decided to ignore his question and get straight to the point. "You must help Lee Felix, a mafia under your protection. He's in italy and he's been framed for murder, he's in jail and... the one who put him in jail is Kai

— The leader of the organization Elite."
