LUNA

I spent the whole day and the next day just staring at my ceiling, mind blank as the scene from yesterday continued to replay repeatedly inside my head. That was my first kiss. My first kiss got stolen from a man who's keeping me locked up here, chained me up when we first met, and we're basically enemies from the very beginning.

Stupid, stupid, stupid! Why did you let him do that? Why didn't you push him away and most importantly WHY DID YOU KISSED BACK!?

I let out a moan as I ran my hands over my face and heaved a deep sigh.

"My stupidity knows no limits."

I say. After what happened, Felix didn't come into my room for the rest of the day and even today. I'm not complaining since my alone time did help in processing that smoky sloppy hot kiss-

My hands instinctively went to my cheeks, "Great, not only am I stupid but I'm also losing my marbles." I hissed at how hard I slapped myself. As much as I didn't want to, my eyes landed to the door.

Why hasn't he visited me yet?

I shook my head. I need to pick myself up. I need to focus on my goal - to escape from here, to go back to my original life, and...

My hands gripped on the picture I was holding tight. I need to find whoever this is in the picture and I need Kai's help for me to find him so it is very important for me to escape from here and reunite with Kai. I can't afford to let these insignificant unfamiliar emotions get the best of me.

KAI

"Any reports?" Kai asked one of the people working for him. Everyone was busy, there was a lot to do but Kai still put Luna's rescue mission first more than anything else.

"There is one." One of the worker said, working on something in his computer and when he was done he turned the computer to face kai so that he could see it, "We found this on one of the cameras we managed to hack from Felix's estate. This person here is agent Luna's partner in the Union. We thought it was weird for him to go there so we dug deep and found out that he faked his identity and hacked a famous website, known for where you hire computer technicians online." he said and pressed some keys of the keyboard, showing a lot of evidences that Luna's partner did.

Kai smiled to himself. Luna praised her partner from the Union and it is very rare for her to praise someone. It just proves that whoever her partner is, he is one amazing guy that can even leave the Luna impressed.

"bring him to me, we need him."

An hour has passed, still no sign of any Felix anywhere. I sighed.

Why was I even looking for him? What happened yesterday is just something that happened on a whim, he just did that on a whim. It didn't mean anything so I shouldn't mess with my head.

"It just happened on a whim, Luna." I was now talking to myself. I am going crazy for every minute I spend here, the more I am going crazy. I'm already crazy, staying here just makes me more crazier than ever, "Just a whim" I mumbled again.

As I continued to poison my mind with the thoughts running around my head, I heard the door lock opening. My head, almost immediately, turned towards the door hoping that whoever will go through that door will be the one who I'm thinking about.

"Your lunch, ma'am" my face drops when I saw that the person coming through the door wasn't the one I expected. It was just some random maid. I turned back to staring at the ceiling again.

The maid went to the drawer beside the bed with the metal tray of food. "Just leave it there." I say, the tone of my voice not hiding how dissapointed I am.

"Yes, ma'am"

My eyes widened when in my peripheral vision, I saw her pulling out a knife, she raised it and was about to stab me while I'm obviously distracted by my thoughts but I immediately rolled to the side. I hissed when I got a small scratch on the side of my shoulder from her knife.

Okay, I take it back. She's not just some random maid. She delivered my food here for a reason, it was to kill me. The question is, why?

She's fast but not as fast as me.

"I promise that you will feel no pain. It'll be a quick death, a blessing from me" she says, her face holding no emotions. Her hands pulled something from her pockets again.

"Oh, fuck me" I let out as soon as I saw that it was a gun. I immediately ducked just as she pulled the trigger, hiding behind the bed. I crawled to the other side of the bed, to the other drawer that had something in it that hopefully will be useful to my situation right now.

I opened it and found ropes. I stared at it, debating with myself whether or not this will help me avoid dying. "Here goes nothing" I mumbled and ran, grabbing a vase or any things that I could throw at her, distracting her from what my main objective here is.

With her focusing on the things I'm throwing at her, she didn't notice that I was already at her back with the rope on my hands. I hovered the rope over her and pulled it towards me as I started to choke her with all my strength.

She struggled. I quickly snatched her gun before she could even think about facing it on me and shooting it at me. "No-!" she coughed. I placed the tip of the gun on her temple and pulled the trigger with no hesitations.

Her blood made contact with my skin. The feeling was familiar, very nostalgic even if it's not too long ago since the last time I killed someone. It was very nostalgic that it made my heart pound fast. Her body, along with the rope on her neck, dropped to the ground. Her blood hovering over the ground, spreading all over. I could see my reflection on the blood, staring down at it, I see the devil.

I raised the gun at her again and repeatedly shot at her body. I don't know how many shots I fired at her but it was enough to make sure she's really dead, dead.

"Kiera!" The warmth of Felix's voice seemed to hug my ears. I didn't turn to him, but just stared at the lifeless body, a life I took, a sight I once see on a daily basis.

It just feels all new to me now. There was once a time that I thought I couldn't live a day without killing someone but I was wrong. It's really unhealthy for me to be here, I'm becoming more unlike myself.

I'm afraid.

Afraid that if Kai bursts through those doors someday, offering his hand so that I could finally escape from here I won't be able to take it.

"What happened? Are you okay?" Felix continued to ask. Ren arrived at the door and stared at the maid's lifeless body.

"Yeah." I said, not glancing at Felix. I dropped the gun and walked to the bed. I felt Felix's eyes never leaving me.

I have to put a distance between me and him. Whatever this thing I am starting to feel, I need to get rid of it.

JOOYEON

The young man grunts as he slowly opened his eyes. The last thing he remembered was blacking out as soon as he drank the coffee he bought from the coffee machine.

When his vision finally cleared he was met face to face with a man who had a very intimidating aura around him.

He smiled at him.

"Hello, Jooyeon. Welcome to Elite."
