Kai brushed the blood on his face with his fingers. Hana sighed, "He really didn't give in huh? Who knew he had this much loyalty to spare for that Luna?"

Kai stood up from sitting down and pulled out a cigarette. He bit down the cigarette as he was searching his pockets for a lighter but he didn't have one.

Hana snaked her hands to his chest, holding a black lighter. Kai looked at her, accepting the lighter she offered.

"I knew he wouldn't be so easy to convince." He says, his fingers flicking the lighter until it sparked. He inhaled the rich, acrid scent of tobacco, holding the cigarette in between his fingers as he pulled out the cigarette from his mouth and puffed out smoke.

"So, what's the plan?" Hana asks.

The smoke shroud arounds Kai as he closed his eyes, savoring the scent of it. He slowly opened his eyes and looked back at Hana, "That's why I'm gonna use his brother as hostage."

"His brother?" Hana says. "Didn't you mention that he came from a family of assassins?" She raised an eyebrow.

"That doesn't mean his brother is the strongest assassin alive, right?" Kai smirked, fetching his phone out when it started to vibrate from his pockets.

"Let him in." He says.

A bunch of men went inside, shoving a man who was obviously beaten up by the look of his face.

The men made him kneel on the ground in front of Kai.

"Fucker..." Taehyung hissed as he spits out blood on the ground gained from the beating.

Kai lifted his chin, "Hm, you do have a little resemblance to Jooyeon."

Hearing his brother's name rolling out from Kai's lips made Taehyung furrow his eyebrows.

"What did you do to him!?" He says, glaring daggers at Kai.
Kai chuckled, "Nothing out of the ordinary. I just punched him a couple of times and maybe did some torturing. Don't worry, I made sure he was still breathing. After all, I still need him and he needs to be alive in order to see you getting tortured."

Taehyung could feel the rage building inside of him as he tried to stand up and break away from the ropes that was tied tightly around his two arms.

The men laid him down on the groun, pressing his face on the ground. "Fuck! I'll remember your face, bastard! and I'll make sure you repay with your last breath!"

Kai crouched down, tilting his head as he smiled at Taehyung. "That is, if you manage to stay alive."

I couldn't believe this day would actually come. I stare outside the window of the plane and saw the city of South Korea.

I gulped, was I nervous? Yes. I'm about to meet the man who's the only one alive that knows my mother.

If it was the past me, before knowing Felix, this wouldn't have bothered me that much but somehow it's a big deal to me now.

I felt the heavy weight on my shoulder as I looked at the man who was sleeping on my shoulder.

I smiled as I observed him. He looks cute when he's sleeping, so peaceful, anyone wouldn't even think that he's killed people with his own hands.

It was snowing, Christmas was near.

Last year's Christmas was me spending it with Kai and the agents at Elite but now it's only me and Felix.

It's crazy to think that a lot has changed within the span of a few months.

If I were to go back in time where everything was fine with me and Kai, my past self would never believe the betrayal. My past self would kill me rather than believing what I have to say.

Sometimes, people closest to you are the ones who can easily betray you.

But...

I looked at Felix,

If he were to betray me one day I would allow him to. No anger, no vengeance.

But I hope it doesn't come to that, because if he'll betray me, I'd have no one anymore, I'd have nothing.

As I continued to stare at his face, his eyes slowly opened as if feeling someone's gaze on him.

Our eyes met.

His eyes softened at the sight of me.

"Hey, pretty." He calls as he snuggled on my neck, his breath hitting my bare skin.

"We're here. South Korea, your home." I say. He sighs, feeling comfortable.

"I hope the plane stays in the air forever so that we'll be like this forever." He says.

I snorted, "Stop with the corny lines. The plane is already preparing to land." I nudged my shoulder so that he'll pull away from basically claiming my shoulder as his own personal pillow.

He chuckled, pulling away just like what I wanted him to do. But my shoulder felt immediately empty despite the heavy weight being taken off from my shoulder.

The plane soon came to a halt and the pilot was still speaking from the speakers. People started to stand up from their seats and got their luggages.

If Felix was rich at Italy, well he's even more filthy rich here in his homeland. As soon as they got off from the plane, multiple people greeted them, there were even securities following Felix. He was like a whole celebrity.

Of course, to Luna this was all new to her. Felix didn't even give her any heads up. When a bodyguard offered to carry her things, she was like a strat cat guarding her things.

Felix noticed that so he held her hand throughout their way to the car that was picking them up.

"What is with the extravagance?" I say when we got inside the car. I kept looking back outside since there were literally a horde of bodyguards making a fuss about our arrival.

It got people around us to look at us and whisper. We were in the center of attention!

"It's Jackson's doing." Felix says, sighing like he had enough of Jackson's antics.

"Jackson? You mean to say that he sent all these bodyguards?" I was surprised, honestly. For Jackson to send this much bodyguards for Felix's safety only means that he cares for him, he's someone important to Jackson.

"This is his revenge for what I did to his sister a long time ago. Who would want to grab attention at an airport? It's like a walk of shame." He shivered as if cringing from what happened.

"Wait, back up, what did you do to his sister?" I raised an eyebrow at him, half of my body now facing him.

"Try these biscuits, they are called yakgwa. It's honey cookies. This is what I usually have for snacks back in middle school." He changed the topic and put a biscuit in my mouth.

I decided not to pry anymore since he seems to not want to tell me what he did to Jackson's sister. Plus, the yakgwa was pretty tasty, it totally did not distract me from interrogating him more.

"They're heading to South Korea, Hana" Kai says to the woman who was busy sharpening her nails. Her fingers stop from whatever they were doing as soon as the mention of her country.

She laughs, throwing the nail file, "Good, it's settled then. We're going to South Korea. Back to where it all started."

When we arrived at Felix's mansion, there were people inside the mansion, unexpectedly. It looks like Felix weren't expecting any guests either since he was as confused as I am.

When he opened the door, a woman along with two kids and a devilishly handsome man beside them.

"Felix!" The woman yelled in joy and came running up to Felix, pulling him into a hug.

I blinked a couple of times, backing off from them, giving them space for what seems like a reunion.

"Y/N! Why're you guys here?" They pulled away from the hug. Felix glanced at the handsome man who only gave him a cold face.

"She wanted to be the first to greet you back." He says, sounding so bored and uninterested in what was happening.

"How was Italy? Did you find whatever you needed to find?" She asks.

Felix smiled, glancing at me. I sent him a confused pikachu face shooting a "what do you want me to do?" look.

"Well, I initially went there to find out about an organization, I accidentally made them my enemies, accidentally destroyed it — well technically it was your brother who destroyed them and well... let's just say... I found something even more precious than that goddamn organization." He says, his hands snaking up to intertwine his fingers on mine.

Her eyes seemed to sparkle as she looked at our intertwined hands. She put both of her hands on her mouth and squeals.

"Hi! I'm Y/N! Felix's friend. Oh, and I'm also Jackson's younger sister. Did he cause you any trouble?" She asks, worried that her brother might've caused emotional trauma to me.

I shook my head, "No, it's the opposite. He's been a big help to me and Felix. We wouldn't be here if not for Mr. Jackson." I smiled.

Y/n laughs, "That's no big deal. After all, Felix did play a big part in saving me and my family in the past"

My gaze flicker to her, the kids, the devishly handsome man, and to Felix. What was this past they kept talking about?

"Care to give any context on what exactly happened in the past?" I spoke to Felix in Italian. Felix smiled sheepishly.

"Didn't Y/n said it already? I was a savior, a knight in shining armor, a hero." He was lowkey bragging.

"I heard my name being mentioned. Honey, do you understand what they're saying?" She turned to the devishly handsome man. Their pet names confirmed that they were indeed a couple, a married couple.

"She's asking about the context of what happened in the past. Seems like our good old buddy here didn't tell her." Hyunjin smirked, knowing that there is a part of that past that Felix didn't want her to know.

"Oh, it's such a long story. Felix actually helped fake the DNA test of my child and claimed he was the real father and not my husband right now — well we weren't married yet that time. Felix helped Hana, the woman who was a psycho and wanted to get rid of me, he kind of kept me and my child inside his mansion for a couple of weeks? I think? Making my child think he was his real father. Well, obviously his plan failed, Jackson dealt with him, in the end he decided to help us destroy Hana's evil plans and got me back together with Hyunjin." She smiles.

It took me a minute to take everything in. I turned to Felix who was sweating bullets, smiling but the corner of his lips were twitching.

"Be honest with me, do you have a kink of keeping women as prisoners?"

"What!? No! Pft— Y/N wasn't even a real prisoner, she wasn't in chains or what, she was free to go out of the mansion." He defended himself.

"And even involving a child in your kinks?" I crossed my arms over my chest as I looked at him with furrowed eyebrows.

"No, it wasn't like that. I swear. I—!" He pouted and did some puppy eyes.

"Okaaay, it seems like they're arguing? Should we stop them?" Y/n went to Hyunjin who was enjoying the drama that unfolded.

"Nope, you did good, baby." He kissed her forehead and Y/n chuckles, "Let them be. Those two have a much weirder first meeting than us."

"Well, what do you expect from none other than Felix?" She laughs.

Yes, I finally updated LMAO I am alive and well everyone! Writer's block had me to avoid opening this book's drafts for a while since whenever I open this book and start writing another chapter, it just drains all of the creative juices in me. It turns out that the way to fight writer's block is to read y'alls comments in my other book lol. It really did motivate me to write and had me remind myself why I love writing.

I shouldn't let my inner child disappointed in her grown up version since the grown up version lost the spark in writing books that was once the only thing that saved her from reality. But I'll keep on writing books for the sake of my childhood dream, my childhood memories! No matter how long it takes for me to upload a single chapter LOL 😭

Anyways this book is coming to an end, and I can't wait to end this book (hehe) I'm just so excited to release the book I'm working in my drafts — which already has a lot of chapters in my drafts only waiting for it to upload 😏 so yeah I think that's all. Baiii! ❤️‍🩹
