Kai's plan is currently happening. He faked his identity, that he was a business man that will make a visit to Felix's estate because he wants to offer him a proposal, for Felix to be an investor to one of his "products".

Of course, he bought a fake identity. It wasn't a long process allowing his plan to proceed much more early than anticipated. One of his assistants had sent an email to Felix's assistant about their visit and they took the bait.

And now, Kai was standing in front of the modern cozy house and pressed the doorbell. He was accompanied by two assistants and five body gaurds but they were all just workers from Elite. They're all putting an act for this mission.

A long haired man opened the door and bowed at them, "Hello, I am Ren, Mr. Lee's personal butler. Welcome, you may come in" he had a simple smile on his face and gestured with his hands that they should come in

Kai smiled back at him to not appear as rude and went inside. The interior design of this building was very minimalistic but you can still determine that the materials and the things around costs a whole fortune. Simple yet elegant.

"Ah, welcome... Mr. Kim" Kai observed the man slowly approaching him. This man is Felix and the man who possibly have Luna in possession. "I'm surprised, your name doesn't really suits you. Diego, was it?"

Kai chuckled and nods his head "I hear that very much often and yes, it is Diego" he says and eyed one of his supposed to be 'assistant'. They never really told him that his name would be Diego, it's good that Kai's quick to act on the situation.

But still, that was a close call for Kai which made him nervous in the inside

Felix went to the light beige couch and offered him to take a seat across from him, and he did. "So... what proposal do you have for me?"

LUNA

I hear noise coming from downstairs. There's visitors. I hear only two inaudible voices talking but I know there are still a lot of people downstairs.

I gently rested my ear at the door to see if I can hear what they're talking about. I pulled myself away from the door when I noticed that it wasn't locked. Earlier... when Felix went out in a rush he forgot to lock the door

This is a perfect time to escape!

"If you try to escape I'm not going to hesitate to kill you"

What if I fail..?

My whole body froze when I realize what I asked myself. In my whole life I had never doubted my choices, I never told my self those "what if" questions. I never hesitated like this.

I know Felix is much stronger than me, if it wasn't for that poison on the dagger I would've only just manage to give him a small scratch. I am doubting my choice right now because I know Felix can kill me

And I can't die, not now.

But this might also be my only chance to escape, if not now I might be stuck here forever. I can't be stuck here forever.

I chuckled to myself "Here goes nothing" I slowly turned the door knob around and slowly pushed the door, making sure It's not that loud. I step my foot outside and when I saw that the coast was clear, I pulled my whole body outside and closed the door.

"AH! YOU FUCK-"

My whole soul felt like it left my body and I screamed without thinking because when I closed the door Ren was literally standing behind the door, staring daggers at me. Unlike Felix, Ren's guard is always up intact whenever I'm around.

"I really don't get why Felix is still keeping you close to him when he can just kill you, but remember that I won't sit by and watch you walk out of this room without his permission, unscathed." I can clearly see anger in his eyes but it didn't intimidate me.

I stood straight up and cleared my throat, "I was just... checking" I stated and adverted my gaze elsewhere. He gave me the suspicious looks. I knew he wasn't buying my obvious lie

"Checking for an opportunity to escape, I suppose?" Felix's voice made my attention went to him. Ren stood up properly and bowed at him while Felix's gaze is fixated on me. "I sent the guests away much earlier than I have planned... they were proposing a very good deal for me but I wasn't given a chance to accept it because of a certain someone" he smiled at me.

I didn't break eye contact but I was really trying my best to not make it obvious to him that I was gulping because of my nervousness, "how are you going to make up for it?" he says, and I knew he meant something dirty behind it.

"Why should I?" I nonchalantly said.

"Well, you just tried to escape for the second time. Wouldn't the proper choice would be punishing you? Not unless if you have something for me to make up for it" Both of his eyebrows raised while waiting for my response. I looked at Ren who was still glaring at me and back at him.

"And by punishing... you mean?" I asked. I got an idea what punishment he was referring to but I refuse to admit it. He smirked at me and leaned in my ear to whisper at me, very seductively.

"Sex, rough sex"

The warmth of his breath wasn't uncomfortable, rather it was very ticklish - which I didn't like but also didn't hate. It's very complicated. I pulled myself away from him, distancing myself from a man who could be very much labeled as a danger zone with that sign that has a death symbol on it.

I forced up a smile "I'll cook for you, how does that sound?"

KAI

We were in the middle of discussing our fake proposal to Felix when suddenly..

"AGH! YOU FUCK-"

My eyes went upstairs where the noise came from. There's no doubt, it's definetely Luna's voice and she is alive. So that means...

I looked at Felix

But my whole body froze when I saw him looking directly at me, like he knew what I was up to. He wasn't even bothered by the sudden shout upstairs. He was more like observing my reaction to that shout.

Shit, he knows something

"It seems like we have to stop here." He smiled at me. I gestured my men with my hand below to not do anything. "you see... I'm taking care of someone and I really can't leave her unattended for long or she will have these tantrums so I apologize if our meeting was interrupted" He started to stand up and I followed.

"Yeah, no it's okay" I said. He fixed his clothes and extended his hands at me, "I do hope we'll continue this talk when we have the time, no?" He said. I slowly gulped and hide it with a smile. "I am looking forward to it, Mr. Lee" I accepted his hand and we did a hand shake.

I made my way out of his house but my thoughts never left about how Felix looked at me earlier. Jackson was right, he is a man that shouldn't be underestimated.

"Sir? I thought we were rescuing Luna today? That was clearly her voice earlier" one of my man decided to point out the obvious but it was an inevitable question that needed to be answered

"It was risky. It seems like Felix already knew what we went there for, we weren't prepared and you guys aren't really that skilled when fighting. He could've single-handedly killed all of you if we continued on with the plan" I say. I'm not kidding, I can really sense that it was a dangerous situation earlier there.

Well, at least I've confirmed for myself that Luna is alive

We might really need to be more than just prepared before going in to rescue Luna. Luna, just wait for a little bit I'll definitely come to rescue you.

LUNA

I had never really voluntarily cooked for anyone in my entire life. I only cook for myself and the only one who got to taste my cook was Kai when he secretly ate the food I cooked

After that, he drowned me with a lot of compliments about my cooking and even went as far as bribing me with expensive things just for me to cook for him. I don't know if he exaggerated his compliments about my cooking but it's probably not that bad.

I am wearing an apron while the two men are patiently waiting from the dining table for me to serve them the food I promised that could make up for Felix's "good deal" he had with the guests earlier.

I look at the spatula and cursed under my breath, "I can't believe I am doing this."

#: yep, it's been long since I've updated this. I wasn't busy or anything, I was just unmotivated to write and I got some motivation to write after reading some comments :D

#: I am planning to publish an enhypen book? Since I've been obsessed with them lately. I'm planning on writing a Sunghoon one but I can't really promise y'all if I will certainly publish it, it's just a maybe for now. Any thoughts?
