"S-Spare me!" The man pleaded as he crawled backwards, away from the woman who has trespassed in his territory and killed all of his men that was protecting him. He is a politician and she was sent to kill him.

The woman didn't speak, focused on her sole mission, to kill him. The man shivered as he saw that this young woman in front of him had definitely done this for a hundred times or so, for she didn't even have an inch of guilt on her face.

"Shit! Who sent you!?" She stopped and pulled out something, the man thinking it was a gun, raised his hands in defense but it wasn't what he thought it was. It was a badge.

"The Union!" The man exclaimed. She threw the badge beside him and continued to do her job but the man started to panic again and signaled her to stop with his hands, "Look, I don't know how much they offered you to just kill me but I can guarantee that I can give you five ─ no! ten times than what they're giving you!"

"Are you actually enjoying this?" A man said through her earpiece in Korean. It was Jooyeon, her partner in crime, literally. In the organization they're the only Koreans so they were put up together. Though she really finds him annoying but she can't lie about his skills in technology.

"Just finish him already, his voice is ugly when pleading." He complained followed by munching sounds of chips. The woman sighed and quickly took the man's life by slicing deep in the man's throat, hitting his vital spot with her dagger, "Finally!"

"Good Job, return immediately" The man who gave her the order spoke through her earpiece. Jooyeon was the one who connected the boss through her earpiece without giving her a heads up.

"Copy." She put her cap on and continued to exit the building as if nothing 'illegal' happened inside. The night breeze was cold, a perfect breeze for a murder to take place, she thought.

She admits, she has a loose screw inside her to actually think like that. Normal people wouldn't. She came to accept the fact that she is psychotic, a psychopath who enjoys the smell of blood and enjoys the despair in someone's face whenever they're in the brink of death.

It was ecstatic for her.

"Shit!" Jooyeon cursing made her halt in her tracks, "What's wrong?" The other line was a mess, Jooyeon was probably panicking and looking for something

"THE POLICE IS HERE!" He yelled in panic

They got here that fast? How...

"You can't make it here, Kiera. I can literally see the police heading towards here. We need to split!" As much as Kiera doesn't want to take orders from the brat, Jooyeon, it seemed like it was the only plan that can avoid them getting caught.

She ran to the opposite side where the Van that Jooyeon is at. The police immediately had the place surrounded

How the hell did they get here so fast?

Kiera had no choice but to continue on running. She won't stop even if a police saw her ─ and they did, "Stop! You!" and they started to chase her.

Fortunately, she was lucky enough that the place where the murder took place wasn't that far from the city. She needed to go somewhere crowded and there is a festival currently being held. She smirked to herself when she caught sight of the street bustling with people.

"Hey! Watch where you're going!" A stranger yelled when she pushed him off the side. While she was walking through the enormous crowd huddled up in a street, she pushed the button of her earpiece, "Jooyeon? Jooyeon, are you there?" she called but no one answered

She cursed under her breath and continued to walk much further. The crowd was much longer than she anticipated it to be, "THERE!" Kiera turned around when she heard a familiar voice.

The stranger she bumped into earlier was now talking to the police chasing her and was now pointing directly at her as the police started to ran to her

I should've had just killed that man

Then the chase started again. People yelp and complained when she shove them to the side, "Jooyeon where the fuck are you!?" From all the missions they took, this was the only time she had trouble with contacting Jooyeon.

"Jooyeon answer me, you fucking brat!─" Her yelling got cut off when she bumped into someone. Her ear piece had fallen from her ear which made everything worse because it will be hard to find that small object from this street swarming with humans.

"Ain't this day going so well?" She murmured, "Sir are you alright?" A man, which seemed like the dude's assistant looked at her in anger

"You! How dare you bump into him! You rat!" As much as Kiera wanted to just stick a knife through the one who spoke to her, she couldn't.

The man in which she had just bumped, surprisingly didn't say anything but just watched her in amusement. She lowered her cap more and slightly bowed at him and started to ran again, she really didn't have much time to search for the earpiece that had just fallen.

It was now Jooyeon's problem, not hers.

"People nowadays don't know their place! Sir, should I just kill her?" the man asked Felix

"It's okay" a smile crept up to his face, "I have a feeling this won't be the last time we'll cross paths" his bodygaurd was confused but decided to not ask more irrelevant questions

Running really isn't her tea. She wasn't tired since this wasn't at all new to her but she just hated the feeling of getting chased at

She went through an alley and hid beside a huge dumpster. Hopefully she lost those police

She took a deep breath and sighed. A lot of questions ran through her mind like.. how did the police find them that fast, did someone reported them? Is there a rat in the Union?

Her thoughts were cut off when she felt a presence and heard faint footsteps approaching closer to where she is hiding at. She prepared her dagger and lunged towards the person who she thought was an enemy

"Woah!" Luckily it was only Jooyeon. Relieved, she sighed and retreated her dagger and grabbed her things, "Aren't you gonna ask how I found you?" He would always do this, bragging about how skilled he is at these kind of stuffs

"The tracker you put on me a month ago" She uninterestingly answered him. Jooyeon's mouth gaped wide open, "How did you know I put a tracker on you!?"

Kiera didn't bother to answer his questions and hopped into his van, "Wait..." he ran to her and tucked a strand of her hair behind her ear to get a better look at it, "Did you lose my earpiece!?" He shouted

"Do you have no idea how expensive that was!? - bitch you gotta pay me back!" Kiera's face cringed at the sight of his face and shove him to the side. She really wasn't in the mood

Someone messed with her mission, and she hates that.

"Drive." She commanded. Jooyeon rolled his eyes at her and continued to mumble insults about her, only to keep it to himself to satisfy his anger. Keira, on the other hand, heard all of his complaints but had no energy to bicker

Her eyes were slowly closing causing her to drift off to a nap

The aroma of the ocean made her feel at ease. Everything around her were peaceful for once

The next thing she knew, she was slowly walking towards the vast ocean but she wasn't stopping

It's like she couldn't control her body. She wanted to stop herself but her body is resisting

"Why do you want to stop?" A morphed voice echoed through the peaceful place

"I didn't want to do this! Please make it stop!" She wasn't opening her mouth and she was also not the one who said these words. It was like she was only a spectator of herself talking to someone.

She felt a tingling sensation in her legs. Her vision slowly looked down at her legs and saw that the once, blue ocean, had turned into blood

The fresh scent of the ocean were replaced with the fresh scent of blood which would always make her go crazy

There were rotting heads and bodies floating in the ocean of blood and rotting hands crawled up on her legs

"Did you stop when we told you to stop killing us?" The past faces of people she had killed lunged towards her pushing her into the water full of blood

"Kiera!" She was greeted with Jooyeon's annoying face, "I kept calling you but you won't wake up and you were... shivering-"

She slapped his hand away from her shoulder, "I'm fine." She hopped off the van. Things like worry, care, pity, and love were nothing but a hassle to her life

Like a leash tied to one, bringing one down

It's inconvenient.

She went inside the luxurious tall building which might seem like where there are just legal things going on inside

But the truth is... the CEO of the company is one of the most corrupt gangsters and the boss of the notorious crime organization, the Union

The company is just a mask covering the real dirty truth. On her opinion, the organization wouldn't last long

She went inside the elevator and snickered at the pathetic Jooyeon running fast towards her so that he can go in time inside the elevator

"Made it!" He huffed, "For a shortie like you, you sure run fast"

Kiera glared at him. She hates it when somebody makes fun of her height, "I have been really itching to kill you, should I just proceed with it?" Jooyeon sheepishly smiled and decided to stay silent

His mouth is going to be the death of him someday

The elevator dinged indicating that they've arrived on our destined floor. As soon as the elevator doors opened, Kiera rushed out and went to the door with gaurds gaurding it

The floor they're in right now is where the boss is and where they'll discuss about things. The gaurds blocked her from entering until she showed her ID

The ID is a sign that she is part of the Union. The gaurds opened the door for her and Jooyeon who caught up with her

As soon as the doors opened they were greeted with a long table where there are men seated on the chairs. The union consists of 10 leaders

These leaders all have their own company as masks and does illegal things like selling expensive kinds of drugs, illegally selling firearms, human trafficking, and killing those people who are a threat to their business- if you can even consider it as one

They've done a lot of crimes. The leaders are no better than the boss, they rape women, take in orphans to abuse and train them to kill so that they can avoid getting their hands dirty

She was one of them

Jooyeon's POV

I stared at Kiera's petite figure as she stood tall to face all of these devils

I was assigned to partner up with keira a few months ago but I still can't seem to know what she's thinking. She's a weird one, I'd give you that

Her name, Kiera, in Japanese would mean "Killer" or "Death". Pretty ironic, isn't it? Weird thing is that she doesn't have any surname. I have a hunch that Kiera isn't really her real name, but it's just a hunch.

She's a devil with many secrets

And I can't help but to want to figure her out. Her background, where she came from, her whole history

I wanted to hack into her profile in the Union but as weird as it is, it doesn't contain anything about her

She's a blank page

"Kiera... you're here." The boss says. He was a huge and fit man. Anyone greeted with his presence would shiver in fear but i guess Kiera is an exception

The boss slowly walked towards Kiera and she bowed at him, "Our arrival was quite delayed-"

My eyes widened at what happened next. The boss had just slapped Kiera

The impact of the sudden slap made her knees give up on her and she fell to the ground

Normal people would obviously faint with that slap, especially since the boss is a man who works out and has so much strength but Kiera didn't faint or even yelp in pain

"You! Are you deliberately trying to put all of us in jail!?" He threw something at the ground which was a picture. A picture of a badge, the Union's badge

The Union has spies inside the police so evidences got by the police that involves the Union will be reported to the boss. Kiera must've forgot about the badge

Every mission she has she never leaves any hard evidence that will definetely put the Union in danger. Maybe it's because someone reported us that she forgot about the badge or...

she purposely left it

She stood up and bowed at him, "I apologize. I have no excuses. I'll be careful next time"

"Next time!? There is no next time! Now we are the top and only suspect behind the murder!" A womans hands snaked up into his chest. It was one of the union's leaders, the only woman among the leaders and the lover of the boss

"Calm down... How about sending this brat to that mad dog? To make up for her mistake" She says seductively in his ears.

Mad dog?

"That was what I have planned in the beginning" he seemed to have calm down a little bit and went back to the front where there was a white screen

The white screen reflected a profile about a person

"This man, Lee Felix..." He glanced at the screen and the back at Kiera, "I want you to..." he paused.

"Kill him."
