In the main hallway of the school, Janelle, the girl Leo has a crush on, is looking for signature for the school's annual one-on-one basketball game.

Leo goes to the table where she is "Hey, Janelle, how about that lunch special today?" Leo says "Really? That's your opener?" Janelle says sarcastically "l, I was gonna go with "Where have you been all my life?" but I'm only, like, 14, so..." Leo says frustrated.

"What are you up to?" Leo asks "I'm signing people up for the annual one-on-one basketball tourney" Janelle says "Ew. How'd you get stuck doing that?" Leo says "I love basketball" Janelle says "Me, too! I too love the basketball." Leo says with a forced smile.

"In fact, they call me "Hoop Master Leo." Leo says "No, they don't." Janelle says "No, they don't. Hey, check this out" Leo picks up a bottle of water and tries to hit a trash can, but ends up hitting the bottle straight on Trent's head, who was standing next to the trash.

Trent immediately turns around looking for whoever would have done that, Leo's eyes widen "Where'd that come from? Who threw that?" Leo says.

A student walks by Janelle's desk, she picks up her clipboard and stands up. "Oh, hey, do you wanna sign up for the one-on-one tourney? We need people badly" Janelle tells the student "Oh. Sign me up" Leo says "Not that badly." Janelle says.

"One-on-one tourney?" Trent approaches them "Don't you mean "The Trent Show"? Starring Trent... With a special appearance by... Trent" Trent says, Janelle rolls her eyes at his every word.

"Trent, you're the five-time champ. I already signed you up." Janelle says "You've been in high school for five years?" Leo asks "No." Trent says and discreetly turns to count on his fingers. "Yeah." Trent says.

"Hey, little guy.. .think fast!" Trent threatens to throw the ball he is holding at Leo, who reflexively moves away, Trent laughs "Okay, you got me." Leo chuckles impatiently "Ah, that never gets old." Trent walks away "Yes. Yes, it does." Leo says impatiently.

"No one's signing up for the tournament because he wins every year." Janelle says "Oh, look how sweet. He's autographing that kid's cheek." Leo says looking at Trent writing his name on a student's forehead.

"I am literally all up in your face. And I used his freckle to dot the "I."" Trent says blowing the student's cheek to dry the pen's ink, he smiles proudly, Leo turns to Janelle "If he just spelt "Trent" with an "I," he's gonna be here a lot longer than five years." Leo says.

Later Leo is with Chase at the lab.

"And no matter what I do, Trent always makes me look like a fool in front of Janelle." Leo complains "Well, he does get a little help from you in that area." Chase says, Leo laughs sarcastically at him.

"Well it's no wonder he wins every year, McKayla always says that sports and playing with food are the only things Trent knows how to do perfectly" Chase smirks sarcastically.

Leo frowns "How awesome would it be if I could beat him in that basketball tournament? That would impress Janelle." Leo says, Chase is making a face like he just had an idea.

"Wait a second." Chase says excitedly "Uh-oh, you just turned on that Chase I'm-smarter-than-you-and-I-have-a-big-idea light-bulb face" Leo smiles "It's not your best look, by the way." Leo says, Chase glares at him.

Chase gets up from the console he was at "Davenport has been working on an anti-gravity high-top sneaker for astronaut trainingand".

Chase walks over to a bench where he grabs a pair of sneakers. "Maybe the sneaker's will up your game with a few gravity-defying slam dunks." Chase says.

"Chase, not to play the obvious card, but there is no way my compact kickers are gonna fit into those shoe canoes." Leo says, Chase laughs lightly "Just put 'em on." Chase puts his sneakers on the floor.

Leo puts on his sneakers and they automatically adjust to his size "Whoa! Oh, yeah, baby!" Leo says.

"Whoa! Whoa!" Leo says impressed, he tests the sneakers just by jumping and the anti-gravity of the sneakers makes him jump super high.

Leo laughs in amazement "Say hello to Air Leo!" Leo says "Now for the real test." Chás says.

...

They play a lil basketball game one on one, Chase bounces a basketball in front of Leo.

Leo catches the ball and jumps up and dunks the ball in the basket.

"Yes! Did you see that? I don't need these shoes. That was all me. Watch." Leo takes off his sneakers, Chase throws him the ball and Leo tries to jump to dunk the ball in the basket again, but he ends up falling to the ground.

"Okay, it was the shoes." Leo says, Chase chuckles and reaches out to lift him up.

Meanwhile, Bree and McKayla are rehearsing a cheer in the living room.

"Okay, did you understand the steps or should I show you again?" McKayla says "I think I got it, yes!" Bree says holding up the pompoms.

"Okay, don't forget, you must always smile delicately, it's a cheer you must express happiness and confidence in your team with this" McKayla says, Bree nods and smiles "Okay, posture" McKayla and Bree stand side by side.

"Ready? Okay!" Bree says "We're dynamite! We're dynamite!" Bree and McKayla shake their pompoms "We're tick-tick-tick-tick-boom! Dynamite! We're boom! Dynamite! Whoo! Boom! Boom!" Bree and McKayla cheer, doing the cheer steps together.

Adam suddenly runs into the room, panting "Mack, Bree, you scared me! I thought you guys blew up!" Adam laughs, still panting.

"No, Mack was helping me practicing my cheer" Bree says, McKayla smiles and waves at Adam waving her pompom.

"Oh, you mean... tick-tick-tick-tick-boom! We're dynamite! We're boom!" Adam does a little cheering, McKayla nods thinking he's really good at it

"...Also, what is boom dynamite? I'm all excited and I don't even know what it is!" Adam smiles "Adam, that's the beauty of cheerleading. You don't have to think" Bree says.

"Then it's perfect for me!" Adam smiles, McKayla giggles "yeah, really, you have a natural talent Adam, you have that joy necessary to liven up an audience!" McKayla says "Thanks, napkin girl, I cannot wait for tryouts." Adam says going to the kitchen.

McKayla makes a frustrated face, apparently "Napkin Girl" is a nickname Adam will call her for the rest of her life, she sighs, it's better to just accept it.

"Wait, you're trying out?" Bree says "Duh, like she said, and you just saw my mad tick-boom-pow skills. Pow! That's the "pow" part" Adam says with a smirk.

"You can't try out for cheerleading. That's my thing." Bree says, McKayla tilts her head, seeing her cheer just as dancing is something for anyone and she would totally encourage Adam to go for it, but that seemed like Bree's personal thing.

"And besides, there's only one spot open on the squad, and you do not wanna compete against me." Bree says "Uuuhh" McKayla says "Yes, I of. See, cheerleading is one of the few sports that isn't competitive enough to raise my adrenaline and make me glitch out" Adam says.

McKayla frowns "glitch out!?" McKayla asks, Bree quickly turns to her "that's just a way of saying it" Bree laughs nervously, McKayla shakes her head, she's never heard a term like that before.

"Yes! So primp up your pompoms, Girly, 'cause I'm about to...Be aggressive! Be-e aggressive!" Adam takes Bree's pompoms and shakes them, he laughs "Again, I'm all excited and I don't even know why!" Adam gives away the pompoms and leaves, Bree looks at McKayla indignantly while McKayla can't contain a giggle.

The next day McKayla and Trent arrive at school.

A friend of Trent's joins him and McKayla as they walk through the halls, Trent spots Janelle at the registration table and goes over to her.

"Attention, everyone! Trent is now in session! All bow to the honorable Trent!" Trent says going over to Janelle and taking the clipboard "Oh if I won a coin, every time I see you say your own name in a sentence referring to yourself in the third person" McKayla says.

Trent galres at her "The incredible Trent didn't get your point" Trent says, McKayla tilts her head "Is there anyone brave enough to challenge me in the tourney yet? Oh, I've got an itch to crush a dream or two. Who's gonna be my ointment?" Trent says looking at the clipboard, Janelle rolls her eyes.

Suddenly Chase walks in with a megaphone "Ladies and gentlemen... If I may have your attention, I present to you the soon-to-be champion of the one-on-one basketball tourney-Dunkin' Leo Dooley!" Chase says into the megaphone and he imitates crowd roar.

"Are you sure you're into this weirdo?" Trent whispers to McKayla "shut up Trent!" McKayla says gritting her teeth as Leo walks in with a gold robe written "Dunkin' Leo Dooley' on the back.

"Will assist, flick a wrist, win the game, and pump a fist!" Leo walks up to Trent "You think it'll go down smoothly? Well, you've never played a champ like Dooley! Yes, that just happened!" Leo says.

Everyone starts cheering and applause, including McKayla, Trent nudges her with his elbow to stop but she starts clapping even louder.

"Oh, yeah? Well, I'm the dude who's gonna..." Trent mumbles "say a rhyme to me" Trent says to McKayla "How can I do that if your vocabulary is limited to Trent?" McKayla says.

Trent rolls his eyes "Somebody give me some words that rhyme!" Trent says and goes to his friend who took out his cell phone to look for a rhyme.

McKayla gets closer to Leo, Chase and Janelle "Leo, what are you doing?" Janelle asks, Chase takes a pencil from behind his ear and hands it to Janelle "He is signing up for the Hoop-A Palooza." Chase smirks.

"Don't miss the event of the school year, where Trent will be destroyed by a scrawny underdog 1/16th his size!" Chase tells everyone through the megaphone, Leo looks at him "Laying it on a little thick, aren't ya?" Leo says, Chase nods.

"Here." Leo signs the paper, Janelle takes the clipboard "Let me help you with that." Janelle erases Leo's signature.

"Hey! I wanna sign up! I can play ball!" Leo says "He can play ball!"Chase repeats on megaphone, McKayla frowns.

"I've been practicing." Leo says "He has been practicing!" Chase repeats on megaphone, Leo glares at him "Miracles do happen." Leo says "Miracles do hap..." McKayla grabs Chase's megaphone when Leo looks at him angrily one last time.

"You're not helping" McKayla says "yeah I kind of got it" Chase says trying to get the megaphone back but McKayla won't let him.

Leo tries to sign the paper again, and Janelle erases his name several times "Stop! Stop it!" Leo says, Trent approaches "Yeah, stop it! I wanna play!" Trent whimpers.

"Okay, fine. Trent, I guess you finally have an opponent...Leo." Janelle writes Leo's name down on the paper again.

Trent approaches Leo "I'll see you on the court. And try not to be so short." Trent says very close to Leo's face in a threatening way, when he sees that he rhymed he walks away excitedly "Just rhymed!" Trent celebrates by giving a random student a high five and leaves.

"Are you sure it's a good idea, my brother is very competitive" McKayla says "Mack relax, Leo can totally take down your brother" Chase says confidently "wow I'm scared for my brother" McKayla says sarcastically.

"Leo, you don't have to do this." Janelle says "I don't have to do a lot of things, Janelle" Leo winks at her "I don't know what that means." Janelle says "Neither do I." Leo says frustrated.

Chase looks at McKayla who is still holding the megaphone "are you going to give me that megaphone back?" Chase asks, McKayla smiles sarcastically "Nope!" McKayla says into the megaphone, Chase puts his hands over his ears and McKayla leaves.

Later, McKayla joined Stephanie and the other cheerleaders for auditions for a new member of the cheer squad.

McKayla is at the table taking notes on the candidates' names when she sees Bree and Adam at the door, she discreetly waves at them and they walk in waving back.

"Next we have Riley, Bella, Olive, Siri, and Tommy." Stephanie calls the candidates and they stand side by side.

"Uh, that's a no. No. Never. Nice try. And... You might wanna think about tennis. Bye! Totes thanks for coming!" Stephanie says, McKayla frowns "you didn't even see their performance" McKayla says "Talent is the kind of thing that is already written on the face, did any of those faces look like talent to you?" Stephanie says.

McKayla rolls her eyes, she was too lazy to argue with Stephanie, she is the type of person so superficial and immature that an argument would go nowhere and in the end she would still be convinced that she is on the right side.

"Next we have Adam and Bree. Ugh, they got two points for lame names" Steph says, McKayla takes a deep breath, Bree and Adam stand side by side and start cheering .

"We're dynamite! We're dynamite! We're tick-tick-tick...""Okay, okay, I've heard enough." Stephanie interrupts them, McKayla looks confused but worried about Stephanie's conclusion.

"Better luck next year." Stephanie tells Bree, McKayla makes an upset face "And welcome to the squad!" Stephanie tells Adam, she steps forward to hug her but she refuses "Oh, pinky hug." Stephanie raises her pinky and they pinky hug.

"How is that possible?! He spent all morning wearing my pompoms as a wig!" Bree says "Oh, not a wig! Secret agent disguise." Adam whispers.

"Steph, there's no way there's another spot opening up, I've seen Bree support her and she could be a great addition to the team" McKayla says, Bree smiles at her.

"No, M.C, you're cute, but do you know why we open this position?" Stephanie says to McKayla, she turns to Adam and Bree.

"We need someone to catch us when we dismantle the pyramid. There have been a few problems." Stephanie looks at a girl with a broken neck cast

"It's ironic 'cause she's a total pain in the neck." Stephanie chuckles, the girl gasps "Don't mind her" McKayla consoles her

"See ya at rehearsal! Him, not you." Stephanie tells him and goes back to the table, Bree and Adam look at each other.

Just before the tournament, Chase is in the men's locker room taking his anti-gravity sneakers out of the locker.

Trent walks in "It's almost tournament time, boys! I'm going nerd shopping!" Trent says, when he sees him, Chase turns around, avoiding eye contact so that Trent doesn't notice him, even though that never worked.

"Oh, nice! Spearmint's my fav, bro" Trent steals the mints from one of the guys in the locker room "Oh, you guys, who's behind this? I love a big logo." Trent says taking another guy's hoodie and throwing it over his shoulder.

Trent stares at a guy sitting on the bench in the middle of the locker room for a few seconds "You have nothing that I want." Trent says the guy breathes a sigh of relief.

Trent approaches Chase slowly, Chase turns to him worriedly, hiding his sneakers "What'cha hidin' there?" Trent asks "Nothin'. How ya doing, Trent?" Chase says nervously, Trent threatens to go after Chase, and with a reflex Chase reveals the sneakers in his hands.

Trent's eyes light up when he sees the sneakers, he takes them from Chase's hand "Oh! These are some cool kicks! Thanks for donating to the Trent-Likes-Your-Stuff fund!" Trent says sitting on the bench.

"Trent, those are Leo's. You-you can't...""Well, not anymore." Trent says putting on the sneakers "They're not even your size." Chase says, the sneakers automatically adjust to Trent's size "Yet they fit perfectly." Chase says frustrated.

"Thank you for providing me with the proper footwear to kick your friend's butt" Trent gets up and ruffles Chase's hair before leaving the locker room.

At the school court. Chase runs to Leo "We have a major problem. Trent stole your sneakers." Chase points at Trent with the sneakers.

"No. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no!" Leo says desperately "Calm down, calm down, calm down. Let's look at the bright side" Chase says trying to calm him down.

"What's the bright side?" Leo asks indignantly "He is gonna kick your butt much faster now." Chase says

McKayla is on a bench waiting for the basketball game's cheerleading performance.

Trent approaches her with Leo's sneakers "McKayla! You'll be happy to know that your boyfriend and I get along really well..." Trent tells her, McKayla blushes and looks around when she hears Trent use the term "boyfriend" Luckily no one heard.

"what are you talking about?" McKayla says quietly but worriedly "Yeah, he even gave me these amazing sneakers as a gift, check it out!" Trent points to the sneakers.

McKayla looks at Trent, suspicious "He... gave it to you...as a gift?" McKayla says "Yup! He's practically family!" Trent pats her back.

McKayla shakes her head "No, Trent seriously, what did you do? Did you steal his sneakers?" McKayla says angrily "relax, they're not his, they're Dooley's" Trent looks at the sneakers "That doesn't make any difference!" McKayla says irritated.

"Trent, give the sneakers back now!" McKayla demands "What!? No way, they look amazing" Trent does little jumps with the sneakers "Trent!" McKayla says angry.

Janelle whistles that the game is about to start "Okay, but Oh look! the game is going to start now, I'll see you, sis!" Trent comes out "Trent!!" McKayla shouts angrily and rolls her eyes impatiently.

"All right, 30 seconds 'til game time. Trent's got first ball" Janelle says, Trent takes a stand.

"Trent is wearing my sneakers! What am I supposed to do?!" Leo tells Chase desperately, Chase grabs him by the shoulder "Run. Run far, far away. Cry like a baby and hope for sympathy. Fake a cramp!" Chase says with wide eyes.

"Is that all you've got? Where's that unattractive light-bulb face when I need it?" Leo says, Chase makes the face "Oh, there it is" Leo smiles "I'll be right back. Stall" Chase runs away.

"All right, play to 11. Best two out of three games wins." Janelle says "Wait, wait, wait, wait. How many is that?" Leo says, trying to buy time until Chase comes back.

"Two out of three." Janelle says "Okay, so somebody wins three then..." Leo says thoughtfully "No, Leo." Janelle frowns "It's two out of three." Janelle says.

"Wait, is it two or is it three..." Leo says but Janelle blows the whistle "Game on!" Trent says going straight with the ball and dunks it in the basket.

"Oh! These shoes are so springy! They're the best things I've swiped all day!" Trent says jumping with his sneakers, Leo looks at him distressed.

"Oh! Charlie horse!" Leo bends his leg intending to have a cramp "Oh, what a faker. Walk it off." Trent says "Aah! Double Charlie horse!" Leo bends his other leg, Janelle rolls her eyes.

Meanwhile Adam and McKayla are in the main hallway with Stephanie and the other cheerleaders doing one last rehearsal before the performance.

"Ready? Okay!" Stephanie says, everyone is in their positions "Two, four, six, seven, who do we appreciate?!" Adam cheers excitedly, McKayla gives him a gentle giggle, and he smiles at her.

"That was great, Adam. My favorite part was when you stopped talking." Stephanie says in a passive aggressive way, Adam smiles at her

"Now get ready. We're about to perform at the Hoop-A Palooza, and I don't need to tell you how important this is." Stephanie says, Adam stares at her without any expression on his face "He knows it's important" McKayla says holding Adam's arm, she doesn't want Stephanie to lose her temper with him.

"Got it." Adam says, he spots Bree on a bench on the court, she is crestfallen and visibly upset.

"Hey, look, I know I took the last spot on the squad, but do you think you could make room for my sister Bree? I think she's kinda mad at me." Adam says.

"Yeah, not gonna happen. If we let her join, she won't feel the true sting of rejection. And I generously try to give everyone that experience" Stephanie says, McKayla crosses her arms irritated, she's hanging by a thread with Stephanie.

"Girls, come look at this." Stephanie calls the other cheerleaders to look at Bree "Ew. She looks like my pet pug when I paint her paw nails against her will" Stephanie says, the girls laugh.

"Hey, stop talking about my sister like that." Adam says offended "Yeah, Stephanie this is already getting out of hand, that's not cool at all" McKayla says irritated.

"Um, I'm cheer captain. I talk, you guys listen." Stephanie says "No, when it comes to defending my sister, I'm gonna talk all I want. In fact, I quit the squad." Adam says impatiently, throwing his pompoms on the floor and walking towards the door.

McKayla gasps with a smile, he really did. The girl with the broken neck tries to pick up his pompoms from the floor but he comes back quickly "Hey, back off, neck brace! Those babies are mine!" Adam picks up the pompoms from the floor and leaves.

McKayla takes a deep breath and looks at her Stephanie "I can't stand you anymore Stephanie, I tried to be polite but you don't deserve my kindness so I'm going to be direct whit ya!" McKayla says firmly "oh what are you going to do M.C?" Stephanie mocks.

"Well, you know what, you destroyed the meaning of cheering for this team, so I'm out too!" McKayla says throwing the pompom in Stephanie's face.

Stephanie gasps "What!? But you're our best cheerleader besides me!" Stephanie says, McKayla raises her eyebrow waiting for her to say something more "Okay, you're the best of us!" Stephanie says reluctantly, but she knows it's true.

McKayla smirk "I am, aren't I!?" McKayla says confidently leaving and going to Adam and Bree "you can't!" Stephanie says desperately "I just did it!" McKayla says from afar.

...

Adam approaches Bree and sits next to her.

"Shouldn't you be off somewhere juggling airheads?" Bree says "Yeah, but I quit the squad." Adam says "What? Why?" Bree asks "I can't say why because it'll hurt your feelings that they were making fun of you." Adam says.

"Wait, you quit the team because they were making fun of me?" Bree asks "I just told you I can't say that." Adam says, McKayla approaches them and sits on the other side of Bree "I abandoned the squad too" McKayla smiles gently.

"Serious!?" Bree says "but you've been on this squad since you came to this school!" Bree says "I know, but it makes no sense anymore, why cheer whit people who devalue and make fun of my friends? What's the point of a heartless cheerleading squad?" McKayla says, Bree smiles and hugs her.

"and also I couldn't stand Stephanie anymore" McKayla sighs "why were you still on the team?" Adam says "well since Principal Perry canceled the dance class program, Cheerleading was the only way for me to bring dance performance to school" McKayla says.

Bree thinks "Guys, we have moves that are way better than anything they have. We should just do our own cheer!" Bree suggests "yeah! I'm in!" McKayla says excitedly.

"Oh, good idea! We'll see how they like it when we hit 'em with the Turbo Booty Shake!" Adam says getting up and doing a booty shake, Bree looks on in disgust and McKayla laughs.

Chase returns to the court, Leo goes to him "Where have you been? I tried stalling, but I ran out of injuries to fake." Leo says.

"The compound in the sneakers is highly susceptible to electron beams. So I ran home and got these electron-beam generators from the lab." Chase shows Leo two devices

"And those will mess up the shoes?" Leo asks "Mm-hmm. Say hello to "attract" and "repel." I'll make Trent dance like a puppet. If I were less mature, I'd evil laugh." Chase says, after a brief pause he laughs evilly.

...

"Okay, first player to score 11 points wins the second game. Go!" Janelle blows the whistle

Trent jumps from the right half of the court, dunking the ball in the basket, due to the sneakers "Oh! Did You see my hang time on that one?! I'm even greater than I thought!" Trent says.

Leo tries to get the ball but Trent gets there before "Whoa! Nice try" Trent says,Chase activates the devices, he starts to affect Trent's sneakers making him dance "Wha-? What is this?! What is this-What is this magic?!" Trent starts jumping, Chase laughs

Leo manages to score a basket, Chase continues to manipulate the sneakers "Hey! You're not a cheerleader! Quit stealing our boom-pow!" Adam says to Trent as he spins around, McKayla looks ahead confused and sees Chase in the doorway.

Everyone starts laughing at Trent "Hey! Stop laughing at me! I'm supposed to laugh at you!" Trent says as he continues to jump and dance.

Chase makes Trent bend down and stand up several times "What--? What is this?!" Trent says confused, everyone laughs at him, and this starts to bother McKayla and Janelle.

Janelle gets up and goes to Chase "What are you doing?" Janelle crosses her arms, Chase stops manipulating the sneakers "I am... cheering. Go, Leo!" Chase says nervously.

Try taking off your sneakers, looking scared "I want my old shoes back!" Trent leaves the court, everyone continues laughing, Chase leans against the door and sees McKayla looking at him with a disappointed look.

The smile he had on his face disappears as he watches McKayla get up and go after Trent, she decides to go talk and console her brother, that even if he messed up, it is her duty as a sister to tell him when he makes a mistake and comfort him when he is humiliated.

"Okay, since Trent left the court, I guess game two goes to Leo." Janelle says, everyone cheers and applauds "That's right! Leo, me, winner! Small's the new tall, y'all! Bam!" Leo says.

During halftime of the basketball game, Stephanie and the cheerleaders enter the court to perform.

McKayla has just returned from her conversation with Trent and goes to Bree and Adam.

"Go, Dingoes!" Stephanie says, the audience cheers "Ugh, move back! I'm in front!"Stephanie tells the other cheerleaders to move them back.

"Ready? Okay!" Stephanie says "We're dynamite! We're dynamite! We're tick-tick-tick-tick-boom! Dynamite!" Stephanie and the other girls cheer.

"Cheer bomb!" Bree, Adam and McKayla scream entering the court, Bree uses super speed doing several quick cartwheels "Oh-ho-ho! Oh, Stephanie, can you do that? No, I didn't think so!" Adam laughs.

McKayla does a somersault and at the end she raises her pompoms "Whoo!" McKayla says

"Better call your mom! It's a cheer bomb! Huh!" Bree cheers "The cheer bomb will rock your world!" McKayla cheers "Ring, ring! Hello? Oh, it's your mom!" Adam cheers "Hey there, mom! It's a cheer bomb!" Bree cheers.

"Whoa..." Adam holds Bree and McKayla, each leaning on either side of his shoulders "Cheer bomb!" The three cheer.

Adam accidentally throws a blast grenade at the ceiling, and a piece of the ceiling falls off "what the...?" McKayla looks at the ceiling confused.

"Uh... Yeah, that's right. Special effects. When we say "boom," we mean boom!" Bree says, everyone applauds "Yeah, and when we say "brunch," we mean a delicious combination of breakfast and lunch!" Adam says.

McKayla still doesn't understand how that happened, She looks at the ceiling "I don't know what that was" Adam says nervously "well, The building is old so the structure isn't the strongest" McKayla says "Yup" Bree agrees looking worriedly at Adam.

Janelle goes to Leo and Chase.

"Did you have anything to do with that little display of Dancing with the Jocks?" Janelle asks 'What makes you think that I would be responsible for giving Trent his comeuppance for always picking on smaller, smarter, cuter people?" Leo says.

"Yeah, not Leo. Nope" Chase says, he starts laughs evilly, Leo hits him lightly to make him stop.

"You're right, it's crazy to think the guy with the inventor dad and genius brother would somehow use electron beams to manipulate Trent's shows so you'd win." Janelle shows off the sneakers "Don't be ridiculous" Leo says.

Janelle drops her sneakers on the floor and they bounce away "Huh. Will you look at that." Leo pretends to be impressed "Good luck, buddy..." Chase says, Janelle pulls Leo to talk and Chase looks at McKayla who still looks upset "...because I'm going to need it too" Chase says to himself.

"Leo... You know why I can't stand Trent? Because all he does is make people look bad. And now you're doing the exact same thing." Janelle says, Leo sighs and she leaves.

"I guess there's only one thing left to do." Leo turns to Chase "Yep, I agree." Chase says "Get out there and lose fair and square." Leo says "What?! No! That's a terrible idea! I was gonna say slip out the back door." Chase says.

"Okay, let's finish this thing. And this time, you're getting the real Leo." Leo says, Janelle smiles "Okay. First one to 11 wins. Good luck, Leo." Janelle blows the whistle

"Good luck, Leo." Trent mocks Leo "Trent!" McKayla says irritated sitting next to Chase, Adam and Bree in the stands "Sorry, good luck Leo" Trent rolls his eyes but is a little more polite.

They start to leave and Trent's advantage makes him make several baskets "can't you take it easy?" McKayla yells at her brother "You take the fun out of everything, don't you?" Trent says.

Leo is tired "Come on, Leo. Don't give up. Leo! Leo!" Janelle starts chanting, and everyone follows "Leo! Leo! Leo!"

This gives motivation to Leo, who catches the ball, dodges Trent, and throws the ball, which hits the backboard and falls straight into the basket.

Everyone celebrates and applauds "Yes! I did it! I scored a point! That was nothing but net! And rim and backboard, but it went in!" Leo celebrates.

Taking advantage of Leo's moment of distraction, Trent takes the ball and makes the 11th basket, it was the one he needed to win "Yes! Winner, right here! I'll be signing foreheads in the hallway!" Trent celebrates and runs away.

McKayla rolls her eyes and puts her hand on her face at her brother's behavior.

"Leo, you may have lost, but that shot was awesome! And you did it on your own, without any gimmicks or gadgets." Janelle says proudly "Nope, I just relied on the other "G"-Greatness!" Leo says, Janelle chuckles.

McKayla sighs seeing Trent signing a boy's forehead in the hallway, Chase waits for Bree and Adam to leave and slides closer to her on the bench they are sitting on.

"Mack, Hey I just want to explain what happened today" Chase says "I know what happened, you manipulated sneakers to sabotage and humiliate my brother" McKayla crosses her arms.

"Uh...W-Well yes, but I did it because all your brother does is humiliate and sabotage Leo" Chase says "and you stooped to his level?" McKayla says.

"Are you mad at me?" Chase says fearfully, "Chase, look, Trent can act up and be a bit of an idiot sometimes, okay always. But he's still my brother, and I think you understand what it's like for someone to make fun of your sibilings, It doesn't matter what their personality is" McKayla says.

Chase sighs "You're right, I'm going to apologize to Trent" Chase says "and I guarantee you I'm going to make him apologize to you and Leo" McKayla says, Chase smiles delicately looking into her eyes.

She sighs loudly "I'm telling you, teaching my brother good manners isn't easy at all" McKayla says, Chase chuckles "but you're not the type to give up" Chase says "He's my brother, I'll never give up on him, even though he's a jerk" McKayla chuckles.

Chase shakes his head "how can someone like you be the sister of someone like him" Chase says impressed, McKayla tilts her head "what do you mean? Someone like me?" McKayla asks.

"it's just that you are..." Chase thinks, he thinks of a huge list of qualities he would give her, but he doesn't have the courage to say, the only thing that comes out of his mouth is "an angel" Chase says lowering his voice.

McKayla raises her eyebrow, she wasn't expecting this "Wait No!...uh...I mean it's like you're a beautiful fairy...not beautiful!" Chase's eyes widen, he can't believe he's really saying that, McKayla looks at him confused.

"...Just a fairy, not that you're not beautiful...you are! No wait...um but you're the fairy and your brother is like...He's like a Troll and you're a fairy...uh..." Chase starts to run out of breath from talking, he blushes bright, McKayla laughs "I understand, Chase" McKayla says calmly.

Chase closes his eyes "that was horrible, I'm sorry" Chase puts his hand on his face, he feels his face heat up "No, it was... very cute" McKayla says gently, she starts to blush too, Chase slowly looks at her "just breathe okay" McKayla pats his shoulder lightly.

Chase takes a deep breath "I didn't mean..." "you don't always need to justify yourself, Chase" McKayla says, Chase licks his lower lip thoughtfully "sometimes things explain themselves" McKayla put her hair behind her ears.

Chase looks away from her "Come on, let's congratulate Leo" McKayla gets up "okay" Chase says softly and then gets up.
