Adam, Bree and Chase are on a mission fixing a gas leak in a pipe.

"Guys, the rupture's getting worse." Bree says "That's natural gas. We have to fix that leak or it'll explode. Go check the rest of the pipeline for cracks." Chase says "On it." Bree super speeds away.

"Oh, we have to move fast. The whole pipe is unstable." Chase analyzes the pipe while Adam leans on it "You ever wondered what it'd be like if we weren't bionic? What's, like, the first thing you'd do?" Adam says reflectively.

"Not get trapped in these stupid conversations?" Chase says sarcastically "You know what I'd do if I wasn't bionic? Try and become bionic." Adam says.

"Can we just do this?" Chase says "Fine. I'll seal the crack with my heat vision." Adam says "Yes, let's shoot blistering heat at highly flammable gas." Chase says sarcastically.

"I just said that. Were you not listening?" Adam shakes his head "Just let me contain it with my force field first." Chase uses his force field to contain the leak "All right, it's only gonna hold for a few seconds. Go" Chase says.

Adam uses his heat vision 'Pipe secure." Adam says, Bree super speeds back "Checked all 200 miles...70 of which had poison oak" Bree pulls poison oak branch out of her hair.

"All right, let's get out of here." Chase says "All right, grab on." Bree says, Chase presses his lips together "Actually, I'm going to take the bus." Chase says "Me too." Adam says after thinking for a few seconds, Bree glares at them.

Adam and Chase run out, Bree super speeds away, After they left and a girl comes out of the bush after recording them this whole time, she smiles proudly, ending the recording.

Next day, In the main hallway.

Adam, Bree, Chase, and Leo walk in, Noticing everyone staring at their phones in amazement, McKayla calmly approaches them whit Perry.

"What's everybody lookin' at?" Bree asks "Macky what's going on?" Chase like this "So...There's this new viral video, "The World's First Bionic Humans"." McKayla says hesitantly.

"What?!" Bree and Chase say "Wait, there are other bionic people? Then why are we working so hard?" Adam says "She's talking about us." Chase says.

McKayla signals Perry to show them the video "Yeah, look." Perry plays the video for them "That's yesterday's mission." Chase says "Somebody filmed us." Bree says.

"Your secret's out. Everybody's gonna know you're bionic." Leo says "I'm sorry guys" McKayla says "Never mind that. Now I can't blackmail Daddy Big Bucks anymore. My gravy train just ran right off the tracks!" Perry complains, McKayla rolls her eyes.

"Can't you have at least a little empathy?" McKayla says "If you pay for it!" Perry shrugs, McKayla shakes her head.

"Everyone's looking at us." Bree says "Quit your staring. Scram! So they're bionic. Get to class before they mow you down with their finger missiles." Perry threatens the students.

"How could this happen? What are we gonna do?" Bree says "I don't know. We're in big trouble." Chase says "I wish I could do something" McKayla thinks.

"Wait! I know how we can fix this! We'll convince everyone the video was made with special effects. You know, like those fake videos Adam's always watching." Leo suggests "So "Giant Baby Eats Tokyo" is fake? I should've known. Where are they gonna get a diaper that big?" Adam says.

"Leo, that might actually work." Chase says "Well, first, we better go tell Mr. Davenport." Bree says, they start to leave "Wait, is "Giant Baby Eats London" fake too? Because I just sent 50 bucks to the victim's relief fund." Adam says, McKayla sighs "I find his innocence cute" she thinks.

At the house.

Everyone enters in despair and Donald and Tasha enter the room with Douglas.

"Mr. Davenport!" Chase says "We just heard." Donald says "What are we gonna do?" Tasha asks.

"I say we sell Chase to the circus and use the money to start our new life." Adam says "Adam!" McKayla punches Adam's arm, he glares at her, she has done this every time Adam insults Chase.

Chase smiles "Apparently I have a bodyguard, the cutest bodyguard I could have" he thinks.

"Big D, I know how we can spin this." Leo says "No, No. Were way past spinning this, Leo. That's video all over the news. Experts have verified the footage wasn't manipulated." Douglas nplays the video again on mmonitor in the living room.

"People all over the world are freaking out!" Donald says "Oh, of course they are. They just saw Chase in a skin-tight mission suit." Adam says, Chase glares at him "Oh Gosh. I freaking love his mission suit... Oh yeah" McKayla remembers and punches Adam on the arm.

"Douglas is right. This is way too big to spin." Donald says "I can't believe this. You guys are the biggest news story ever, and I got scooped!" Tasha says "Seriously Tasha!" McKayla says, Tasha makes an embarrassed face.

"How could this happen?" Donad says "I don't know. I did a thermal scan on the mission site. No one was there." Chase says "Well, the footage from my Daven-Earth satellite says otherwise. See." Donad says he shows tablet and shows the girl in the bush that Chase failed to identify "standing right there." Donald says.

"What? But I scanned the site." Chase says "Yeah, well, you missed a spot, and now the entire family is in danger." Donald says.

"Come on, Donny. The kid made a mistake. Could've happened to anyone." Douglas says "Yeah, not really. He's the only one who thermal scans." Adam says.

"So What's our next move?" Leo asks "Give Tasha Davenport an exclusive interview?" Tasha suggests Donald gives her a look "It's my job to ask." Tasha says "Not at a time like this" McKayla says.

"Don't worry guys, I've prepared for this. I've got a safe house at a secure location, you three will hide there. It's got food, capsules, everything you'll need for a year's worth of survival." Donald says "What? A year!" McKayla thinks "A year?" Bree asks.

"Well, 343 days. After that, play rock-paper-scissors and eat the loser.* Donald says, the three look at each other "No! They can't stay away for a year!" McKayla thinks "A year... without McKayla?" Chase thinks.

"In the meantime, I'm gonna hold a press conference, and prove to the world you're not dangerous. When they're ready to accept you, you'll come home. Any questions?" Donald says "Yeah, I finally decided to whiten my teeth. Wait, that's not a question. So, yeah, no questions." Adam says.

"Everybody get your stuff, we leave in five minutes." Donald says, McKayla sees them starting to move to leave the house and feels a slight agony, and a strange feeling of anxiety "I'm not going to see Chase again for a year? No!" She thinks upset.

"I feel bad, Donny. It was my idea to put bionics in humans, and it's not fair for you not to take all the heat." Douglas says "Yeah, I know. I'm only holding that press conference so I can blame everything on you." Donald leaves.

Chase and McKayla look at each other distressed "So are you really going?" McKayla says "We don't have a choice" Chase says "Y-yeah I know, I just..." McKayla bites her lip.

Chase sighs "Maybe, she'll be safer away from me" he thinks, he worries that the authorities will come after her just because of them, and he feel sorry for her being in the middle of this mess.

"Uh I think I left one of my jackets at your house" Chase scratches the back of his head, McKayla nods "Yeah, Trent kind of stole it, Sorry" McKayla giggles but with a hint of sadness.

"Well, I think I'm going to need it, can you get it?" Chase asks gently "Sure" McKayla says she starts to turn to leave "McKayla..." Chase says, McKayla looks back at him "Uh...I'm sorry for putting you through this mess" Chase says.

"Don't be sorry about that, I want to be in the middle of this mess" McKayla smiles holding the door handle, Chase smiles "You're amazing" Chase says taking advantage of the little time he has left to praise her.

McKayla smiles "Don't get even more attached to that smile" she thinks, and leaves "I wish I could take her with us" Chase thinks.

McKayla was still upset because she thought Chase didn't love her like she did, she was afraid of giving in to this feeling any more, so she had been trying to fight it.

In the lab.

Chase walks in "I don't get it. I know I scanned the mission site. How did I not notice that girl?" Chase says "Yeah, it is weird. Usually, it's the girl who doesn't notice you." Leo says, Chase galres at him.

"You know what? I'm gonna check my chip log." Chase says going to a console, Douglas walks in.

"Guys, hurry up. See, this is why I should have raised you. Then you'd know how to abandon a building" Douglas says.

"Aha, look." Chase's chip log shows him scanning the site firsthand, no girl in sight. "Chase is right. He did do a thermal scan at the mission site." Leo says, Chase holds his smile biting his lip and claps his hands "Yes! I knew it! Still perfect!" Chase smiles.

"Hey, look. The times code match and that's the spot where the girl showed up on Big D's satellite footage, but on your chip log, she's nowhere to be found.." Leo says.

"That's impossible. Something weird is going on. I'm gonna go tell Mr. Davenport." Chase starts to leave "Good idea. But leave out the part about being perfect. It just makes people wanna punch you in the face." Douglas says, Chase slightly nods.

In the living room.

Bree walks in holding some clothes and sees Adam on the couch with a laptop on his lap "Adam, what are you doing?" Bree asks.

"I don't want to lose touch with people, so I'm sending out an email blast with the address of our safe house." Adam presses the button "Great. While you do that, I'll tell Davenport that we need a new safe house." Bree says frustrated.

Chase runs in "Guys, where's Mr. Davenport?" Chase asks "He's still upstairs. What's going on?" Bree says "I was right. I did scan the site but that girl didn't show up on my chip log." Chase says "So what does that mean?" Adam asks

Suddenly, the lights turn off and agents swarm through the house "Go! go! go!" The agents indistinct shouts, Adam, Bree, and Chase are forced to the floor by the agents.

"Secure the perimeter. Don't try anything. We have more than enough firepower to take you down. Hit the lights. I need eyes on them." Graham says, the lights turn back on and Adam, Bree, and Chase stand back up.

"All right. Who are you?" Chase asks "Why are you doing this?" Bree asks "Quiet! I ask the questions." Graham says.

"We got them. Bionics targets have been secured." Graham says, Adam grabs his hand to speak into his watch "Is what I would say if I found them but I haven't." Adam says

"Look, no, you've got it all wrong, we're not a threat. You obviously saw the video of us fixing the pipeline." Bree says "We're on your team." Chase says "I'll decide whose team you're on." Graham says.

"Oh, you know what will help? If we do shirts and skins. Come on, guys." Adam starts to take off his shirt "Keep your shirt on." Graham says "Fine, you be skins, I was just trying to be nice. I know how you old guys are about showing your love handles." Adam says.

They agents bring Tasha and Donald down from upstairs "Okay, okay. I know my rights. You cannot barge in here without a warrant." Tasha says and Graham pulls out a warrant "Oh. Well, aren't you just Mr. Prepared?" Tasha says.

"Mr. Davenport, talk to them." Chase says "Tell them to let us go." Bree says "Guys, there's nothing I can do. It's over." Donald says, they look worried.

At McKayla's house.

Brooke and Mason watch the news talking about the video of Adam, Bree and Chase.

"Did you know that?" Brook asks "No, I had no idea" Mason says, McKayla runs in and goes upstairs to get Chase's jacket from her room.

Mason and Brooke look at each other worried when she comes in, as soon as Brooke approaches the stairs they hear a knock on the door, Mason answers and there are FBI agents.

"Hello sir, we came here to ask some questions about bionic humans" the agent says "Look, I've been working for Davenport for a while and I've never..." "It's not about you sir. We came here talk to your daughter" the agent interrupts Mason.

"Oh my God" Brooke sighs, Mason laughs nervously "Of course" Mason says with a sarcastic smile as the agents enter the house "McKayla!" Mason shouts.

McKayla overhears the agents talking to her parents "Oh no!" McKayla says, she takes the jacket, and closes her bedroom door

McKayla looks around thinking about what to do, until her gaze turns to the window.

McKayla takes a deep breath "Eh Okay" she says and opens the window, while Mason and Brooke try to talk to the agents.

McKayla climbs out the window, trying to hold on to the gutter and using the vertical garden below her window as support, crushing several plants.

"Oh dad is going to kill me" McKayla says, reaching the ground and seeing the vertical garden destroyed.

She hears agents approaching and runs away.

As she turns the corner she gets a call from Leo "Leo?" McKayla says on the phone "M.C the FBI took over our house so whatever you do, don't go back there!" Leo says.

"They took over my house too. But I ran away, where are you?" McKayla asks "Douglas and I are going to school, but Adam, Bree and Chase are in custody" Leo explains.

"Oh damn!" McKayla says quietly "Hang on, I'm going there" McKayla turns off her cell phone and runs towards the school.

At school, McKayla met Leo and Douglas on the way and they enter the main hallway.

"We'll hide here till we figure out our next move." Douglas says "You know things are bad if school is my safe place." Leo says "I always like it here" McKayla says "obviously you're the popular girl" Leo says, McKayla shrugs.

They find Perry rooting through Bree's locker "Principal Perry??" Leo says, Perry raises her arms "What are you doing in Bree's locker?" Leo asks.

"Certainly not stealing stuff to sell at my bionic souvenir shop." Perry says.

"Ooh, I see you brought the one family member who doesn't disgust me. Hello." Perry curtsies to Douglas, McKayla frowns "Oh no! Not him!" She thinks while Douglas makes a confused face.

"Principal Perry, we need your help." Douglas says "Please, call me Terry. It's easy to remember because it rhymes with marry" Perry flashes left ring finger "also rhymes with scary!" McKayla says singy songy.

"Special agents took over the house and have Adam, Bree, and Chase in custody." Leo explains "Put a sock in it! Mama's trying to get her groove back!" Perry shouts "No, you're not" McKayla puts herself between Perry and Douglas.

"It's true. For all we know, they're being grilled by the feds." Douglas says "No, no, no. If the feds find out I was in on this, I'm cooked. Well, I guess there's only one thing left to do. Trade you two for my freedom." Perry takes her cell phone "No, no, no, no, please. You're our only friend right now." Douglas takes her cell phone.

"Well, who can say no to a man with such hairy knuckles?" Perry rubs them against her face "Okay this is disturbing" McKayla says.

"We don't think the bionic video was an accident. This is the girl who did it. Have you seen her?" Leo shows the girl's photo "No, but email me the picture and I'll run it through our student-faculty database. It's supposed to be used for transcripts, but I use to it play the ugly-face-ugly-name game." Perry chuckles.

"Be back in a flash my little love troll" Perry attempted affectionate growl to Douglas, Perry goes into her office "I'm very sorry for ya" McKayla puts her hand on Douglas' shoulder, he sighs defeated.

"So, let's think about this. The mission alert was for a pipeline that burst because of seismic activity at exactly...Wait." Leo looks at his cell phone "What's wrong?" Douglas asks.

"This geological website says there was no significant seismic activity yesterday." Leo says "Wait, so everything was set up?" McKayla asks "I'm starting to think so" Leo says.

Perry walks back in

"Nothing came up on your gal. The records say she doesn't exist. But check out the horse face on this French teacher from Modesto. Bonjour, Matilda Flart." Perry shows them the pic "Ahh!" Douglas, Leo and McKayla say scary.

"So no seismic activity, no trace of the girl." Leo says "If we could find evidence that the pipe was sabotaged, that would prove it. Let's go check the mission site." Douglas says, they start to leave.

"Wait! There's one other thing you should know. The school board frowns on parents dating teachers, but let's be honest. You ain't no parent, and I ain't no teacher." Perry flirts with Douglas "He's not interested Perry" McKayla pulls Douglas, Perry gales at her irritated.

At the mission site.

Leo, McKayla and Douglas investigate the place "So, you and Principal Perry?" Leo tells Douglas "I don't want to talk about it!" Douglas says irritably "Yeah, there's no such thing as Perry and Douglas!" McKayla says equally irritated.

"Why do you seem strangely annoyed about this?" Leo asks McKayla, she scoffs "No, I'm not" McKayla says nervously "Well. I may have a slight admiration for Douglas and maybe want to protect him from Perry...But let's be honest he doesn't deserve it" she thinks.

"Hey, check this out. That looks like a superspeed trail." Leo points *Yeah, you're right. That couldn't be Bree's. She went east. These clearly point south." Douglas says.

"Wait, isn't that the bush the girl was hiding behind?" McKayla asks "Yeah." Douglas says "But, if the trail isn't Bree's, then it must be hers. Could she be bionic?" Leo says "Wait, is there a chance of having more bionic people?" McKayla asks.

"No, impossible. The only other person with bionics is...is Krane." Douglas says "But how could Krane be the girl? Wait, did you give him a cyber mask?" Leo asks Douglas.

"I might have." Douglas says "Why would you do that?!” McKayla asks "Well. I also might have given him a full body cyber cloak, too. But he was only supposed to use it on Halloween! Last year, we went as Brad and Angelina." Douglas chuckles, McKayla frowns with a smile.

"I know I should be mad at him, but I can't deny that he's kind of cute" McKayla thinks.

"So the girl who took the video is actually Krane." Leo says "We'd have to warn Adam, Bree and Chase. They're in danger aren't they?" McKayla says worried "What do we do now?" Leo says.

"I don't know about you, but I'm slapping on a cyber mask and selling apples by the highway." Douglas says.

At the house,

Chase, Bree and Adam are in the living room surrounded by agents when they hear a commotion outside the house.

"what is that?" Bree asks "I don't know" Chase says, he gets up from the couch and logs the door opens with agents trying to hold Mason "Let me go, where's my daughter?" Mason asks trying to fend off the agents, Brooke comes right behind him "Leave him alone" Brooke says.

"Mason?!" Chase says "Chase! Where's my daughter?" Mason asks worriedly, Chase takes a step back "I-I don't know, I thought she was with you" Chase says, Mason looks at him irritated.

"She ran away, I don't know where" Brooke says "What?" Chase says "This is all your fault!" Mason points to Chase, who looks at him scared.

"If it weren't for you, I wouldn't have to welcome federal agents into my living room! You should never have come near my daughter!" Mason says, Chase presses his lips together in regret.

"Hey, Don't talk to him like that!" Adam says irritated as he takes a step forward, agents approach him threateningly"Adam, stay calm" Bree holds him.

"Mason get a grip, it's not his fault" Brooke says "Oh Brooke. He's all to blame, I would never have agreed to take a bionic freak under my roof with my little girl!" Mason says, Chase gasps.

"I knew this was going to happen, that's exactly what I feared" Chase thinks "I-I'm sorry" Chase says upset "Chase, no. Honey, that's not true." Brooke tries to get closer to him and Mason holds her back.

"Oh for God's sake Mase!" Brooke pulls her arm "He's still the same boy, the boy who's been protecting our daughter all this time!" Brooke says irritated, Mason rolls his eyes.

"Sweetie, don't worry Okay, I know McKayla must be safe, and everything will be fine" Brooke hugs him "You're not a freak, Mason's just worried and he's totally stupid when he's worried" Brooke says, Mason recognizes in her look that he messed up badly.

"No, he's right. Maybe it would be better for you guys if we stay away" Chase says upset.

Brooke looks at him upset, Mason sighs regretfully, he didn't mean that, he was starting to develop affection for Chase. However, the situation has left him stressed and he doesn't know how to deal with It. But it also doesn't take long for him to regret the things he say in the moment of anger.

in the elevator.

Donald and Tasha are being accompanied by Graham and other agents.

"So far, your story checks out. We haven't found any evidence the bionic subjects are being used for hostile purposes." Graham says "Ha! In your face, suit..." Donald says.

Graham galres at him "which looks great on you by the way. How do you afford that on such a mediocre salary?" Donald says "Donald, don't annoy the man. He drives a tank." Tasha says.

Elevator opens up into living room.

"Mason, what's going on?" Donald asks "The FBI knocked on my door and my daughter ran away, Davenport, that's what happened!" Mason says.

"Oh my okay, but they got nothing on them. You're free to go" Tasha tells them "I never said that." Graham says.

"Well, you don't have any evidence that they...""They're bionic humans. I don't need anymore evidence." Graham says, Mason looks at Brooke "do you still think I'm stupid?" Mason says "yeah, because I think this guy is stupid too" Brooke says.

"But I will be taking them away for a much more thorough examination." Graham says "Where?" Bree asks "A secure testing facility in the desert." Graham says "Ooh, is it area 51?" Adam asks "No." Graham says "Area 52?" Adam asks "No." Graham says "Area 53?" Adam asks "No!" Graham shouts.

"He's getting madder. I must be getting closer." Adam whispers "You guys are gonna love working with him" Chase tells the agents.

Brooke sighs and holds Mason's arm "McKayla is going to be devastated" Brooke says, Mason shakes his head but he knows it's true.

"Wait, but what about Mr. Davenport? What's gonna happen to him?" Bree asks "He's been harboring unauthorized weapons of mass destruction. So he'll be taken into custody pending my full report." Graham says.

"Look, it doesn't matter what happens to me, but admit it, you're never gonna let them go." Donald "Don't worry. Lots of people thrive in solitary confinement." Graham says

"Wait, you're gonna split them up?" Donald says "Absolutely. They're too dangerous to leave together. So they'll be separated until they're no longer a threat." Graham says.

"Aw poor babies" Brooke says with pity "What does that mean?" Bree says "It means you're never gonna see each other again." Donld says.

The three look at each other upset, Brooke and Mason look at each other.

At the school.

"And that's why Krane cloaked himself as the girl and posted the video. He knew the feds would take Adam, Bree, and Chase out of the picture." Leo explains everything to Perry.

"Quick question. At any point during your dealings with this Krane guy, did my name come up?" Perry says "No." Douglas says "Then get out of my school!" Perry says.

"Stop Perry, I know you have a heart in there somewhere and this is the time to use it!" McKayla says determined "Look, we need to tell someone about Krane. It may not free our family, but maybe the feds can stop him." Leo says.

"You're right. We can't waste anymore time." Douglas says "Totally agree. Dooley, MC, you go back to the house while me and Douglas hunker down in a remote cabin, very remote, where no one will hear your screams." Perry holds Douglas' arm" Perry says "Ew!" McKayla says.

Krane opens the door with his bionics, and enters the school "There you are." Krane says, McKayla, Douglas and Leo look at him distressed "He gets scarier and scarier" McKayla thinks.

"It's always the last place you look, isn't it?" Krane says "If you're the new health inspector, the money's on my desk in an envelope marked "Art Supplies"." Perry says.

"That's Krane." Leo says "Please, take the defenseless child, but leave me the dreamboat of a man." Perry says turning to Douglas "Can you stop that?!" McKayla says.

"How did you know we were here?" Douglas asks Krane "I've had someone keeping tabs on you. S-1!" Krane says, the same girl that filmed the video walks into the school.

"It's her!" McKayla says "Wait, so that wasn't you in the cloak. There really is a girl?" Leo says "Sure is. Ever been beaten up by one?" S-1 asks "Do I need to answer that question?" Leo says.

"S-1's no mere girl. She's a genetically engineered super soldier." Krane explains "She's bionic, too?" Douglas asks "You should be proud. Your technology has come in very handy. I've also upgraded your triton app so that I can control her abilities directly from my brain." Krane says, S-1's eyes flash green momentarily.

McKayla shakes her head "That's not good" McKayla says "Wait, if she's a bionic human, how come she doesn't have a heat signature?" Leo asks "It's one of her many abilities. She can manipulate her body temperature to adapt to her surroundings." Krane says.

"Why are you doing this?" McKayla asks, Krane tilts his head at her and laughs "The world will find out soon enough, but you won't." Krane generates electricity from hand.

Perry pulls fire alarm "Ha! The fire department will be here any minute!" Perry says Douglas laughs "Good, then they can clean up the mess." Krane hits Douglas and Terry with a surge of electricity.

"No!" Leo shouts "I'll call for help!" McKayla runs towards the door.

"Can I take care of the kids?" S-1 asks Krane "Of course. Just make it hurt." Krane says.

McKayla is almost at the door when S-1 mobilizes her with her bionics "What?" McKayla says "Let her Go!" Leo threatens to run to her but Krane shoots at him, he dodges.

S-1 breaks the beam above McKayla with her bionics "M.C!" Leo screams and runs to McKayla, pushing her at the last second while the beam crashes down, pinning him and McKayla being pushed against the door banging her head.

"Bravo!" Krane says "That was fun." S-1 says "The fun has just begun." Krane laughs evilly.

S-1 and Krane walk out of the school, leaving a Leo crushed by the beam and an unconscious McKayla behind.

At the house.

"Transport's on its way." Graham tells them.

"We're not even gonna get to say good-bye to Leo." Chase says "I'm gonna miss him so much." Bree says  "Yeah, I mean, as far as friends go, he's definitely in my top 50." Adam says.

Chase walks up to Brooke and Mason "Look I'm sorry about everything. But I want you to tell McKayla that I..." Chase says, he takes a deep breath "I love her" he thinks, but he doesn't feel like it's time "That I'm really going to miss her.
