In the main school hallway.

Adam, Chase, and Leo are sitting on the circular bench in the middle of the hallway.

McKayla passes by them "Hey guys..." McKayla waves "Hey" Leo and Adam says "Hi Chase" McKayla says softly and flirty. Chase is surprised by the specific hello but covers it with a smile.

"Hi Macky" Chase waves back and McKayla goes to her class "She's so pretty" he bites his lip "Uuuhhh!" Leo and Adam smirk, Chase rolls his eyes.

"Man, she's so into you" Leo says "Poor thing" Adam says, Chase galres at him.

"Why don't you ask her out?" Leo asks, Chase sighs "Because we're friends, and I finally starting to get along with her dad, I don't want to ruin that by rushing things" Chase explains.

Leo and Adam look at each other and groan rolling their eyes "We're just not ready" Chase says "Chase, you're still going to lose this girl because of your stupidity" Adam says "Really? You telling me that?" Chase raises his eyebrow.

"Look, It's okay to take it slow Chase, but you know how beautiful and popular McKayla is, she won't be available forever" Leo says, Chase scoffs.

"It's not going to happen, we like each other, I'm always here for her, why would she suddenly leave me aside?" Chase says, Leo shrugs "You never know what opportunities might come her way" Leo says.

Chase shakes his head, he doesn't agree with Leo. He has confidence in his relationship with McKayla, whether it's friendship or something more, he likes how things happen with her.

Everything is so natural that doesn't put him under pressure to do anything, not giving him room to get nervous and ruin things and McKayla seems to understand that.

Bree walks in with a pamphlet "Hey, did you guys know we had a study abroad program?" Bree asks "Why would I go to another country to do something I don't do here?" Adam asks.

"Look, it says you get to spend a whole semester at a high school in Australia. And guess what? I applied." Bree smile excitedly "Cool! Kelly Porter went last year. She got sucker punched by a kangaroo." Leo laughs and punches the air.

"Well, all right, I guess we're going to Australia." Adam says excitedly "Uh, no, no, no. No way. This is my thing. I mean, I can finally be on my own. I can study, travel, make new friends..." Bree says.

"Mmm, I hate to be a wet blanket..."Chase gets up "No, you don't." Leo says, Chase quickly glares at him and returns to Bree.

"But Mr. Davenport is never gonna let you do this. You can't go on missions if you're halfway across the world." Chase says "Well, sure I can. I mean, I haven't figured out all the details yet, but there's gotta be a way to make it work." Bree says.

"Not unless these two can unlock a new ability to make up for you not being here." Law points to Chase and Adam "Ooh! Well, maybe I can unlock an ability where I disappear and reappear somewhere else. Let me try." Adam closes his eyes and grunts.

"Did it work?" Adam opens his eyes "You didn't do it long enough. Try it again, this time, more grunting." Chase says sarcastically.

Adam closes his eyes and starts grunting again. Chase beckons Bree and Leo and they walk around to the other side of Adam. Adam opens his eyes and they all start cheering.

"You did it!" Chase says "Yeah!" Leo celebrates "Whoo!" Bree cheers "Oh!" Adam says impressed and high fives them.

In the living room.

Chase is in the back of the room tuning a guitar while Adam and Bree share a bowl of popcorn on the couch, Donald walks in.

"Bree, is there something you wanna tell me?" Donald asks "I got this." Adam gets up "Look, we all like you, but we think Tasha could've done better." Adam pats Donald on the shoulder and walks away.

"I just got a phone call that said you'd been accepted to study in Australia." Donald tells Bree "Wait-What? That's crazy! Did they mention what day I'm leaving?" Bree asks anxiously.

Chase goes to the kitchen with Adam to get a bottle of water "You're not going." Donald tells Bree "Why?!" Bree asks

"Come on, Bree! It was obvious. Even Adam saw that one coming." Chase says taking a sip of water "No idea what you're talking about. Already moved on to cold cuts." Adam says absently, taking things from the fridge and closing the door with his foot.

"You can't abandon the team. What if Adam and Chase picked up and left for a month?" Donald says "Well then, I wouldn't have to go to Australia. I wouldn't just be leaving you guys. I can super speed back any time you need me." Bree says, Chase and Adam frown.

"That's not the only issue. What about your bionics? Your training? Your capsule?" Donald says "Mr. Davenport, this is really important to me. Can't we at least discuss it?" Bree says "We just did. You're not studying abroad, End of conversation." Donald says firmly and leaves.

"This is so unfair!" Bree complains by stamping her foot "Don't worry, Bree, I'll get you to Australia." Adam grabs Bree's hand and starts grunting, Bree pulls her hand away irritated and Adam continues grunting.

In the living room.

Adam is on the couch watching TV while Chase and McKayla are studying at the dinner table.

"And that's how we'll find the coefficient of the equation" Chase finishes an explanation, McKayla smiles "You're so smart" McKayla says softly, Chase doesn't contain the shy giggle "Yeah i know" Chase says convinced but flattered

Adam rolls his eyes listening to the two.

"He's so sweet, I can't" McKayla bites her lip to contain a smile, she reaches for his hand and holds it.

Chase takes a deep breath "I love every touch of her. She's so delicate, it's like courting a princess" he think.

"So based on that, what is the correct alternative?" Chase asks McKayla, she reads the book at the table, Chase admires her "She pouts when she thinks, that's so adorable" he thinks.

"Hmm I think it would be option C" McKayla says she looks at him, and he is already looking at her with a melting look, Chase moves away from the table "Uh Y-yeah! You got it right" Chase smiles.

"Cool!" McKayla smiles excitedly "I always tell you, you're smart" Chase says, McKayla smiles and looks at his cheek "I want to kiss him, his skin is so soft and smells so good" she thinks.

Chase looks into her eyes "Maybe I have a good teacher" McKayla says, Chase quickly looks at Adam, who raises his eyebrow mischievously.

"Adam must think I'm a wimp for not hitting on her right now" Chase thinks, "yeah maybe" Chase says shyly, McKayla leans in to kiss his cheek when Bree walks in the front door.

McKayla moves away from him "Guess who just got invited to the Panic Inferno concert tonight?" Bree asks excitedly.

"Ooh! Brendan Delaney?" Adam says "Me! Caitlin doesn't want to go alone because she's totally devastated." Bree says.

"Wait. Why?!" McKayla asks worried "Her boyfriend dumped her! Isn't that awesome?! Whoo!" Bree celebrates "What?! Mike dumped her and she didn't tell me?!" McKayla says surprise.

"Oh yeah about that, she's mad at you for ignoring her messages" Bree says.

"What? I didn't ignore her..." McKayla takes her cell phone from the table and unlocks it seeing millions of messages from Caitlin "Ooh! okay Never mind" McKayla says awkwardly.

"Damn! She was already mad at me for thinking I spent more time with Chase than with her, and now...she's going to know for sure" McKayla looks at her phone worried and guilty.

"Poor baby" Chase thinks with pity when he sees that she is worried about her friend "Baby? I did not mean that" He rethink.

Donald walks in and upon hearing Bree talk about the concert.

"Bree, I'm sorry, but you can't go. I have to extract your bionic chips tonight for a critical performance modification." Donald says "Can't we do that tomorrow?" Bree asks.

"No. I'm gone all day with a new product launch. Look, I wish I could go to the concert, too. You know I get the whole rock and roll thing!" Donald says.

Chase frowns "Uh, people who get the rock and roll thing don't say, "I get the rock and roll thing."" Chase smirks, McKayla giggles silently, Chase looks at her, proud of making her laugh.

"Come on, Mr. Davenport, can't I just...?" Bree says "No, I'm sorry, Bree, you can't go." Donald leaves.

"Poor Bree... maybe I can go to the concert in her place and make up with Caitlin... No, then Bree will be mad at me, forget it" McKayla thinks.

Bree groans "Being bionic is ruining my life. I can't go to the concert, I can't go to Australia, I can't do anything!" Bree says irritated.

"Well, you could go get me some juice." Adam says.

"No. You know what, I don't care. I am going to that concert!" Bree opens door and walks out, Chase gets up "Bree, what are you doing you can't just..." Chase is interrupted when Bree slams the door.

"Can you believe that?" Chase tells Adam "What I can't believe is Caitlin had a boyfriend." Adam says, they both laugh.

"Guys!" McKayla says "Sorry" they both say "I'm going to need to talk to Cait" McKayla looks at her cell phone.

"Don't get upset about it" Chase says "She's my best friend Chase" McKayla says "Yes, but it doesn't mean that just because of that you have to stop having a life" Chase says.

"Or stop seeing a cool boy because she doesn't have any" Chase thinks and holds back a laugh.

"I'm going to her house" McKayla takes her bag "You can't please everyone all the time" Chase says, McKayla scoffs "of course I can" McKayla says.

She approaches Chase and gives him a quick kiss on the cheek and passes by Adam, friendly ruffling his hair "see you later guys!" McKayla leaves, closes the door.

Chase puts his hand on his face where she kissed him and he feels his face flush brightly "I love her so much" he thinks.

Chase is tinkering with one of the consoles and Adam is randomly pressing buttons, Chase holds Adam's hand annoyed.

Donald walks in "Okay, guys, we don't have a lot of time, so let's get to work on your chips. Where's Bree?" Donald asks.

Chase thinks for a second "Uh...""She's at the Panic Inferno concert! Ugh! He broke me! This guy is good." Adam says bursting out, Donald galres at them.

Donald walks into the lab with Bree.

"I can't believe you went to the concert when I specifically told you not to!" Donald says, Bree gasps "I cannot believe that you jumped on stage and begged every member of the band to sign your t-shirt!" Bree says indignantly.

Donald scoffs "I most certainly did not!" Donald says, He turns around "I got all of 'em, didn't I? Huh?" Doando says showing the autographs on the back of his shirt.

"Look, that's beside the point! You are in big trouble!" Donald says "Yeah, thanks for selling me out, guys!" Bree tells Chase and Adam annoyed.

"Oh, you have no idea what we went through! He grilled us!" Adam says "I said, "Where's Bree?"" Donald says "At the concert. Oh, man, he got me again." Adam says, Chase rolls his eyes.

"Look, because of you, we are three hours behind. Now the modification's gonna take all night. Now go get in your capsule so I can extract your chip." Donald says "Ugh, fine." Bree super speeds past Donald into her capsule.

"I don't know what has gotten into you lately. You can't just do whatever you want whenever you want." Donald says looking at the console.

"Trust me, you have made that abundantly clear. My life is not my own." Bree's chip is extracted and she steps out of her capsule.

"Here, my chip." Bree hands her chip to Donald aggressively and he places it carefully on the console.

"All I want is a little control over what I do." Bree says "Yeah, well, you're part of a team. That's not gonna happen." Donald says "So that means I have to give up my entire life because of it?" Bree asks "Yeah!" Donald walks away.

"Well, if being bionic is going to stop me from having the life that I want...I don't wanna be bionic anymore." Bree grabs a object "Bree, what are you doing?" Chase asks worriedly.

"Getting my freedom." Bree smashes chip repeatedly with object "Bree, no!" Donald shouts "No!" Chase says.

They all stand in silence, looking at the chip in pieces on the table in disbelief.

"What did you do?!" Donald says incredulously "Well, she smashed her..." Adam points "I know what she did! How could you do that?" Donald asks Bree "She picked up that..." Adam points again "I got it!" Donald says.

"You have no idea what you've done." Donald says upset "I know exactly what I've done." Bree says firmly "Ooh..." Adam and Chase say.

"Then you know you've made the biggest mistake of your life." Donald says "Ooh...!" Adam and Chase say.

"Now help me find the rest of your chip so I can try to fix it." Donald says "You know what? No." Bree says "Ooh...."Adam and Chase say louder.

"Excuse me?" Donald asks "I said, "no."" Bree says "Adam, Chase, can you leave us for a minute? I need to speak to Bree alone." Donald says seriously

"No, stay. There's nothing left to talk about." Bree leaves seriously.

Chase calmly walks up to Donald "Don't worry, Mr. Davenport, I'll go talk to her." Chase says "No. If she doesn't want her bionic abilities, she's off the team." Donald says, they look at the chip piece on the table and on the floor, upset

*Yeah I know, but Bree was late to see Caitlin today and she got very furious* McKayla types, Chase frowns *But it was good because it forced Cait to talk to me again :)* McKayla types.

Chase chuckles *what about you?* McKayla types*What?* Chase reply *Have you ever thought about being a normal guy?* McKayla types.

*No. My bionics are part of who I am and was created to be, I would never change what I am* Chase types *Glad to hear that :)* McKayla reply.

Chase presses his lips together and a slight butterflies pass through him, she knows it's much easier for him to open up via text.

Chase takes a deep breath *I wouldn't change anything about you. You are simply perfect* Chase types and after two seconds thoughtfully he sends the message.

Chase feels anxious *that's what friends do, right?* Chase reply but soon regrets it *You're right* McKayla types.

He didn't have the courage to ask "what do you mean?" Or just agree, Chase shakes his head and whimpers laying down on the couch.

"Why is love so difficult?!" Chase whimpers, he doesn't know how to do it, it leaves him deeply frustrated.

Leo is working on a neurotransmitter when Bree walks in.

"Leo, I just had the most awesome day. Now that I don't have bionics, I can do whatever I want, whenever I want." Bree says excitedly.

"Kinda busy. Can I get a rain check on caring?" Leo says distracted by the neurotransmitter.

"I just finally know what it feels like to be normal. This morning I was supposed to meet Caitlin. I was an hour late. She's not talking to me. It's awesome!" Bree says "It's a little bit early to cash in that rain check." Leo says "At least this way she and McKayla made up tho" Bree says.

Adam walks in "Hey, Leo, did you tell me to keep your mom here or let her go out?" Adam asks "Keep her here!" Leo says worried "Ah! Could've gone either way." Adam says, Leo runs out of the room and Donald and Chase walk in.

"Heads up. I just got a mission alert. There's a five-alarm fire at a chemical plant and the response team can't control it. Suit up." Donald says, Chase and Adam run to the capsules and put on the Mission suits.

"We have to get ahead of this thing before it spreads. Chase, you're gonna scan satellite images and try to pinpoint anyone who's trapped. Adam, you'll knock down the compound wall and rescue them. Me?" Donald puts on a jacket.

"I'll come along with you guys and try to help any way I can." Donald puts on sunglasses.

Chase and Adam look at him confused "Yeah, you can come on the mission, but not dressed like that." Chase says, Donald galres at him "Yeah. The fire's already a tragedy, don't make it worse." Adam says "Just go!" Donald says annoyed.

Adam and Chase run out "Well, what can I do?" Bree asks Donald "Nothing. You're not on the team anymore." Donald says and leaves, Bree gives an upset face as if that sounded like a gunshot to the chest to her.

McKayla went to visit Bree while Adam, Chase and Donald are on a mission.

McKayla is sitting at one of the consoles while Bree walks around talking to her.

"Hearing I was off the team was the worst feeling I could have felt" Bree says with regret "I'm really sorry Bree" McKayla says upset, playing with the string of the sweatshirt she wears.

"I was so blinded by the luxuries of a normal life that I didn't even think about how it would affect my brothers and the team" Bree sighs "Look, If you wanted to feel normal, I tell you there's nothing more normal than making mistakes" McKayla leaves the console and hugs Bree.

"It's okay, because without making mistakes there's no way we can evolve and become better" McKayla comforts Bree, who shakes her head "Maybe I'm exaggerating, I think they'll manage without me maybe...I didn't make much of a difference after all" Bree says upset.

McKayla nods her head in agreement with Bree's statement. "Do they usually take this long?" McKayla asks, Bree looks at her watch "No" Bree says worried.

McKayla makes a worried face "Oh relax, maybe the mission was complex or..." McKayla tries to calm Bree "if they take longer I'll call Mr Davenport" Bree says worriedly and starts to pace when Donald walks in, covered in soot.

"Mr Davenport!" McKayla says "You're back! Where are Adam and Chase?" Bree asks "They're putting their gear away." Mr Davenport says seriously.

"Oh, well, I mean, we were starting to get worried. I mean, you guys were gone forever. Let me guess, Adam tried to transport you home by closing his eyes and grunting?" Bree gives a slight smile "Actually, Adam was quite helpful." Donald says seriously and walks away.

"Oohh...!" McKayla says, Bree galres at her, McKayla clears her throat and looks away "what an uncomfortable situation" she thinks about Bree and Donald.

Adam and Chase walk in, covered in soot as well "Hey, guys. How was the mission?" Bree walks up to them.

McKayla walks up to them also looking at Chase "Damn! I always forget how hot he looks in his mission suit" she thinks.

"Oh, it was terrible. You know, I was thinking about having my next birthday at a chemical plant, but now I just...I just don't know." Adam says, McKayla frowns "So there's still a possibility?" McKayla smirks, Adam shrugs.

"We rescued everyone, but the mission took twice as long. Adam and I barely made it out alive." Chase says seriously, Adam sits in the armchair behind them "Yeah, and in case you're wondering, heat vision does not put out fires." Adam says.

"Oh my...I'm glad you're all okay" McKayla says and hugs Chase gently, he smiles quickly "He smells like soot, poor baby" McKayla thinks "She's so affectionate, I love that" he thinks.

"Oh, well, I mean I'm sure it would've been just as dangerous if I had been there." Bree says, akwardly, Chase calmly walks away from McKayla looking at Bree.

"No. If you had been there, your super speed would've created a vortex and put out the fire instantly. Congratulations, Bree. I hope that being normal is worth it." Chase says seriously and he and Adam go to the capsules.

Bree looks at McKayla upset, McKayla opens her arms "I did something stupid, didn't I?" Bree deeply sorry, she hugs McKayla, tearfully.

"Yeah you did" McKayla says, Bree galres at her "I'm sorry, I thought being honest would help you...but everything will be fine!" McKayla smiles.

Bree rolls her eyes "No, you're right. I'm going to apologize to them, and go back to the team" Bree presses her lips thoughtfully "I'm proud of you" McKayla says, the two hug again.

"I owe you an apology." Bree says "Yeah, well, you should've apologized when we were alive!" Adam grabs Chase's shoulders, offended.

"Look, I just wanted some freedom from being bionic. I never meant to put you guys in danger." Bree says "Well, you did." Chase says.

"I know. I was just thinking about me, instead of us. We're a family... and I was being selfish and I'm really sorry. I want back in." Bree smiles "Good." Chase smiles.

"Whoa, wait a minute, we gotta vote on it. Hands? I'm looking for a three-fifths majority and someone to calculate it." Adam says "Adam, we don't have to vote." Chase frowns.

"Yeah. Get out!" Adam aggressively tells Bree, she looks at him confused "Oh, right, family, family, yadda-yadda, I got it. Bring it in" adam, Bree, and Chase hug and Donald walks in.

"What's going on?" Donald asks, Bree walks up to him "Mr. Davenport, I messed up, and I'm sorry. I'm ready to be bionic again." Bree smiles.

"Well, I'm glad you feel that way, but I can't do that." Donald says "What do you mean? She apologized, and she wants back in." Chase says.

"I didn't create your chip-my brother did. And now that it's damaged so badly, I can't duplicate it." Donald explains

"Wait, what are you saying?" Bree asks "I don't know if you'll ever be bionic again." Donald says upset, Bree looks at Adam and Chase and they exchange worried looks.
