Bree and Chase walk in.

Adam is arranging bowling pins and Leo walks up to them

"Hey guys, check it out. We just got our first paychecks from Tech Town." Chase shows the envelope "Nice! What are you going to spend it on? A video game? New kicks? A birthday gift for a sibling who wants a video game and new kicks?" Leo says, Chase smiles and throws his head back.

"Nope. I'm gonna open a savings account." Chase says proudly, Bree puts her hand on his shoulder "I want to like you, but you make it so hard." Bree walks away.

"The job also comes with perks." Chase holds up a phone "The new ePhone 7?! Those aren't even out yet! How'd you get one?" Leo says impressed

"Well, Leo, as a rising star of the Tech Town empire..""We all got one." Bree interrupts Chase by showing a cell phone too.

"People are already lined up for the big release Friday. You should've seen the crazy looks in their eyes when I walked by with this thing." Chase says, Leo stares at the phone with a crazed look "Yup that's the look." Chase says.

Leo takes Chase's cell phone "This version's got a new auto-centering feature to help you take better selfies." Leo takes a a selfie, which turns out horribly, Chase frowns and looks at him "Yeah, I don't photograph well." Leo says frustrated.

"Point that bad boy over here. You're gonna want to record this perfection." Adam says from across the lab where he has arranged bowling pins and holds a bowling ball.

Leo starts filming Adam with Chase's cell phone "I'm Adam Davenport, and this is "Bionic Bowling"" Adam tells the cell phone camera.

Leo does a voiceover while Adam prepares "Adam is six-foot-two, a rare combination of incredible strength and not much else." Leo says, Adam glares at him.

Adam rolls the bowling ball and gets a strike "Oh, yeah!" Leo record "Whoo!" Adam celebrates.

...

Leo starts recording Chase "I'm Chase Davenport, and this is "Molecular Kinesis Bowling."" Chase says confidently.

Leo again does a voiceover "A native of Mission Creek, Chase's hobbies include being a tattle-tale and creeping out girls." Leo says, Chase looks at him questioningly and Leo shrugs .

Chase rolls the bowling ball with his molecular kinesis and knocks all but two pins down "Oh! Oh, the dreaded 7/10 split! Devastating. Just devastating." Leo puts his cell phone camera in Chase's face.

Adam mock whimpers. Chase moves the ball with his molecular kinesis and knocks the rest of the pins down "You were saying?" Chase smirk "Oh, it's on!" Adam says.

...

Leo is recording Adam again.

"I'm still Adam Davenport, and this is "Blastwave Bowling." Adam drops the ball and instead blast waves Chase across the room, knocking him over the pins

Chase agonizes on the floor and Leo and Adam go to him, Leo records Chase's face "And we have a loser!" Leo says, Chase galres at him still lying on the floor.

In Tech Town Store.

McKayla has just made a sale and walks up to Chase, who is on the other side of a counter "See that, I'm one sale behind you and soon I'll be ten sales ahead of you, wait" McKayla says.

"Oh is it a competition now?" Chase smirk "Always has been, sir!" McKayla says leaning on the counter "Wow, I'm scared to death" Chase jokes, leaning on the counter too "Well, you should be because you won't be employee of the month for long" McKayla says, leaning closer.

"You're very brave I must say" Chase leans in more "And you're very cute to think you're going to beat me" McKayla says, Chase scoffs "You're even cuter for not even noticing that...I've already won" Chase whispers, McKayla laughs, both of them almost climbing onto the counter because of this joke, but it is clear what they are both really doing.

Scott sees that and snaps his fingers. "All right, huddle up, team. Tomorrow's our biggest day of the year. For us techies, this is our World Series. And I'm your starting quarterback." Scott rests his foot on a display.

"Oh! Go, team!" Chase says the two of them always try to do a high five that goes wrong "I speak for everyone when I ask you to stop that!" McKayla says softly to Chase "Scott, I've studied all the specs. Ready to assist any customer who needs help." Chase puts his foot on the same display as Scott who puts his foot on a higher display.

"Great, cause we're gonna have more people in this store than ever before. Any questions?" Scott asks, Caitlin raises her hand "Can we not do the sale?" Caitlin asks "Caitlin, remember what I said? Think before you speak, and then don't speak. Scott walks away and Caitlin starts making faces.

Chase frowns, he and McKayla walk over to Caitlin, McKayla hugs him. "Does this have anything to do with your fear of crowds?" McKayla asks "It's not fear Mack" Caitlin says "What's the problem then?" Chase asks

"Just not a big fan of crowds" Caitlin says "Oh the pretzel incident" McKayla presses her lips together.

Chase frowns "When I worked at the Pretzel Hut, we had this big three-for-one sale. It was a madhouse, and the customers wouldn't leave me alone. They all wanted the last cinnamon pretzel, so I did what any sane person would do: I ate it." Caitlin says with a psychedelic smile, McKayla closes her eyes remembering with regret, Chase looks at Caitlin scared.

"Then, I sprayed everyone with hot butter and ran." Caitlin says with the same scary smile "Don't forget the part where I had to get you out of the mall prison while you were sick because of your cinnamon allergy" McKayla says frustrated, Chase looks at her even more confused.

"You know what, I'm gonna go grab a pretzel." Caitlin says and leaves, McKayla sighs and sees Chase's face "What?" McKayla asks "are you sure it's a good thing to keep hanging out whit her?" Chase says "huh, she asks me the same thing about you" McKayla smiles.

Scott walks in "Chase, McKayla, can I talk to you guys for a second?" Scott says, McKayla and Chase walks up to him.

"Okay, you guys already know the company rules and that we don't recommend employees should date in the workplace" Scott says, McKayla and Chase look at each other "who's dating?" Chase asks, McKayla frowns slightly, even her understands what Scott is thinking.

"Uh...you guys" Scott says, Chase and McKayla look at each other again and start laughing nervously "What?!" Chase says "No!" McKayla says, both still laughing and blushing.

"We don't... w-why do you think that?" Chase says nervously "because of situations like the one I saw just now at the counter" Scott says.

"Oh" Chase says "It was just a joke Scott" McKayla explains "McKayla what I want to say is, that if you're going to cross the line, don't do it at work" Scott is straight to the point.

Chase's eyes widen slightly "We're just friends" McKayla says, Chase swallows hard "we never cross the friend line" Chase laughs nervously "And we won't" McKayla agrees blushing.

"Ha Sure. You guys are really cute together and all stuff, but if you guys have a serious relationship, you need to inform me because it is the company's rule to take sides on this" Scott says.

"And there's no company rule about avoiding awkward conversations with employees" McKayla says quietly scratching the back of her head "I'm not kidding" Scott says, Chase scoffs nervously "We're not a couple" Chase says.

"you may not be right now, but if there's any chance that will change..." "What?!" Chase says it loud and thin out of nervousness, McKayla frowns "Pff No. Never. No!" Chase says trying to hide his nervousness.

Chase looks at McKayla "Right?!" Chase asks "Oh! Uh..." McKayla looks at Scott confused "yeah, right" McKayla says quickly, Scott looks at the two "Okay, you two together are a trouble, and look, I would hate to have to fire one of you two because of this" Scott alert them.

"It won't be necessary" Chase says, McKayla agrees "We wouldn't, we would never do anything that goes against the rules" McKayla says, Chase nods in agreement.

Scoot looks at them in disbelief "Still, you two are very friendly friends, if you know what I mean. So to avoid complications, I recommend that you..." Scott pulls Chase who was next to McKayla, and takes him away from her "Keep at least this distance from each other during work hours" Scott says.

"Oh that's ridiculous" Chase says "I'm just doing my job" Scott leaves "Is your job by chance to destroy dreams?" Chase thinks "Is your job to ruin my life?" McKayla thinks.

McKayla and Chase look at each other awkwardly "Uh...he only says that because we are...close, people don't understand that a boy and a girl can be close and just be friends" McKayla tries to justify the situation "But we are an exception" she thinks as she gives a nervous but friendly laugh.

"no, I don't think the problem is other people's understanding of this situation" Chase thinks, he puts his hand on his tense neck "Yeah, I know that" Chase says, McKayla sighs "Why does it seem like the entire universe conspires against us?" McKayla thinks and leaves slightly annoyed.

Donald walks in the store.

"Mr. Davenport, what are you doing here? We're not allowed visitors at work." Chase says, Donald scoffs "I'm not a visitor, I'm a celebrity." Mr Davenport puts his hand on Chase's shoulder and Chase rolls his eyes.

"And this celebrity needs a favor. Tomorrow is my anniversary, and all Tasha wants is that stupid ePhone. Even though I can make something better out of junk from the trash." Mr Davenport says, Chase chuckles.

"So, if I get her on early, it will make her feel special. So just go grab me a phone so I don't have to stay in line all night with these losers." Mr Davenport points to the long queue at the entrance of the store.

"No way. I could lose my job. And Scott already called me out today, one time was enough" Chase says "why did he called you out?" Mr Davenport asks.

"That doesn't matter. You have to go wait in line." Chase says "Donald laughs "Seriously?" Donald asks "Now!" Chase says.

"Fine! Where's the end of the line?" Donald asks, Chase walks him to the store door "See that security guard with the golf cart?" Chase points "Yeah, that's not so bad" Donald says.

"Well, you might want to stop and ask him for a lift 'cause the line ends a mile past that." Chase says, Donald's eyes widen and Chase returns inside the store.

At school.

Leo, Bree and McKayla walks in"Whose limo's blocking the bus lanes?" Leo asks "I was thinking about it, do you think it's someone important?" McKayla asks "I don't know but I've always wanted to ride in one. They look so classy." Bree says.

A trumpet plays and Perry walks in on a red carpet "Mornin', sewer sacks!" Perry says walking around in a coat and high heels "Then again, looks can be deceiving." Bree says frustrated.

"Sorry about blocking the bus lanes. Can't walk to far in these. Haven't worn heels this high since I did the pageant tour." Perry says about the shoes "You were in beauty pageants?" Leo asks "Yep, never won though. Apparently it's not a talent to squat-lift a 250-pound barbell while rocking a bikini." Perry says "And yet, look how far it's got you." Leo says sarcastically.

"Here's a fiver, Butch. Keep the heater pumping" Perry tells her driver "So, how did you get a limo?" Bree asks "Daddy Davenport just gave me a big chunk of hush money for keeping your bionic secret. I'm wearing your college funds, kids! Gather 'round, pus pockets." Perry says "Smart of you to squander some suspicious money" McKayla says sarcastically "Know that now I can pay to shut you up Waltz Foot" Perry says.

"Since I have come into some recent moolah, I have decided to start giving back...to myself. I hereby announce that I'm retiring as principal effective the end of the week." Perry says, Leo widens his eyes in disbelief "Yes! I dreamed this day would come! Oh, it's time, people." Leo says.

Leo plays music and starts dancing, he dances excitedly around the school as everyone watches in confusion, McKayla laughs "He's the second cutest brother, I must admit" she thinks.

"Are you done? 'Cuz I gotta wash that off." Perry says, she goes where a hot tub was installed in the place where a circular bench would be in the center of the hallway.

"What the...?" McKayla says "You bought the school a hot tub?" Bree asks "No, I bought it for me and I'm taking it with me when I go. Much like the vending machine." Perry gets in the hot tub.

She throws her coat to Leo and Bree, McKayla looks at her in disbelief "That's an image I wasn't prepared to see...that I would never be prepared to see" McKayla says "Ooh. Ahh. Oh, yeah. Take the undiagnosed skin condition." Perry says relaxing in the hot tub, Bree and Leo soon let go of her coat in disgust.

At school.

Adam and Chase goes downstairs and sees the hot tub in the middle of the hallway "Ooh, hot tub's empty. You better take your phone out of your pants. I'm gonna throw you in." Adam tells Chase

Chase checks his pockets "My phone...it's gone!" Chase says worried "Perfect, let's do this." Adam holds Chase "Stop!" Chase stops him.

"It has our bionic bowling on it! If someone sees it, our secret will be exposed. I must've left it back at the store. Come on!" Adam and Chase leave and Bree, Leo and McKayla walk in.

Leo comes down the stairs dancing "I have never seen you this happy." Bree says "I know! With Perry leaving, this baby bird is ready to fly." Leo says and imitates a bird "The purest feeling of freedom" McKayla smiles.

A horn blares and Perry is wheeled in "Keep her legs warm in case we need to make a hasty retreat." Perry says to the guy pushing the wheelchair "I still don't understand why the dramatic entrances?" McKayla says "Ostentation" Bree says "Oh yeah" McKayla says.

"Listen up. I am happy to announce that after an exhaustive 22-minute search, I have found your new principal!" Perry says and Trent walks in "Hey-o!" Trent says "Trent?!" Leo says "Uh-oh" McKayla's eyes widen.

"That's right, Dooley. Your new schedule." Trent hands Leo a sheet "First period: theatre, where you'll perform a one-man version of Annie for the entire school." Trent puts a wig on Leo.

"Then marching band, where you'll be the drum major's baton! And then gym class where...well, your embarrassment there goes without saying." Trent and Perry laugh.

McKayla gasps "Okay since when are you qualified to be a school principal?" McKayla says "Your boyfriend will be your partner in every class" Trent says softly "I'm so proud of you!" McKayla hugs him.

At Tech Town.

Chase and Adam run in "Chase! It's not even your shift, and you're here. I'm impressed." Scoot walks up to them.

"I'm not here to work, actually. I think I just left my phone on the prodigy bar." Chase says "Oh, you mean our packing area?" Scott points to a counter with a huge stack of packed cell phones "Ahh!" Chase says in disbelief.

"Someone must've packed my phone with the others. We have to find it!" Chase says "Whoa, "we"? I just came to watch you freak out." Adam chuckles.

"All right, it's game time!" Scoot tells employees "Scott, can you delay opening for a minute so I can find my phone?" Chase says "Let me run it up the corporate ladder. Tick, tick, tick, tick, no." Scoot says, Chase looks at him worried.

"Release the herd!" Scoot shouts, people in line rush into the store "Noooo!" Chase screams being pushed by the crowd "Oh, yeah! Now, this is the show I bought tickets to." Adam laughs.

Scott walks in carrying Caitlin, who is holding ripped off hair "She started it!" Caitlin says.

Scoot puts Caitlin in front of the cell phone stack "Caitlin, guard the phones and don't let anyone touch them. Gotta go find whoever this belongs to." Socot says holding the bunch of hair and leaves.

Chase sighs "Man, we're never gonna be able to look for the phone with her on guard." Chase tells Adam "Nope. But hey, look on the bright side." Adam says "What's the bright side?" Chase asks "I don't know, I'm just trying to be a more positive person." Adam says.

At Tech Town.

"Uh-oh. We got another scuffle in line. Some old rich guy tried to take a cut-sy and that's a Tech Town no-no. I'm gonna need some muscle." Scoot says, he looks at Chase "Caitlin, come with me." Scoot says, Chase frowns.

Scott and Caitlin leave "Okay, he's gone. Make up an excuse to look at customer's phones." Chase says "What do I say?" Adam asks "I don't know! Be creative!" Chase says.

McKayla walks in "Macky! You came" Chase walks over to her "you called" McKayla smiles gently "Damn! How I like her" Chase smiles "and it better be important, I'm missing the circus that my brother is putting on at school with Leo being the main clown" McKayla says worriedly.

"Okay, I left my cell phone here and it's among the others, if anyone finds it they can find the videos of our bionic bowling" Chase says "Why did you record something like that? Haven't you guys already been hacked and stuff?" McKayla says, Chase purses his lips in frustration.

"I think it's a little late to think about that Macky" Chase says "It's never too late Chase" McKayla says "Just come on!" Chase pulls her over to a customer to start looking for his cell phone.

While Adam is talking to another customer "Can I borrow your phone? My car broke down and I need to call a tow truck. You see, my wife's making me dinner and she gets upset when I'm late and...." Adam says they man tries to give Adam his phone "Whoa! Hold on. I'm not done. She's making me lasagna and it's my favorite. Okay, now." Adam takes the cell phone.

McKayla walks up to Chase.

"Look Chase, I've already spoken to more than ten customers and none of them had your cell phone. Sorry" McKayla says, Chase sighs "We can't keep this up. We gotta get to the boxes before the customers get to them." Chase says "How?" McKayla asks.

They walk over to Caitlin, she stops in front of the path "Hey Cait" McKayla laughs awkwardly "Can we just..." Chase says "You guys are messing with the wrong girl on the wrong day." Caitlin says threateningly..

"Don't you feel like talking about this?" McKayla suggests, Caitlin galres at her "Okay then" McKayla and Chase walk away.

They walk up to Adam "Dude, what are we gonna do?" Chase says "Don't worry. We're gonna find your phone. No one will ever know, including Mr. Davenport." Adam says "You're right. Thank you." Chase says.

"Hey, look who's here. Hi, Mr. Davenport!" Adam waves to the line outside the store, Chase's eyes widen "AAAAAAHHHH!" Chase runs and jumps into the pile of phones, knocking them all over.

McKayla looks at him confused "what the hell was that?!" McKayla says "Desperate situations call for desperate measures" Chase says.

McKayla frowns "Don't just stand there help me!" Chase says looking for his cell phone, McKayla giggles "You're crazy...I like it" McKayla says, Chase quickly looks at her and smiles, she helps him.

Adam, Chase and McKayla are at the counter checking cell phones.

"Man, we've checked every single phone! I can't believe I did this. After all Mr. Davenport has done to protect our bionic secret...I blew it." Chase says, McKayla sighs "Aw Chase, it's going to be okay" McKayla says and hugs Chase.

McKayla fits her head under his chin, Chase smiles, she always does that when she hugs him, he already predicts her movements, whenever she lets go of the hug she quickly breathes into the curve of her neck, thinking he doesn't notice, but he does and particularly likes it.

She does exactly as expected and lets go of the hug. She likes to do this because she likes his perfume and his neck would be the most discreet place near his face where she could show affection.

Donald is at the store door and before entering, Scoot stops him "Ah! I'm warning you. Don't even think about causing any more trouble. I have a really high scream and I'm not afraid to use it." Scoot alerts him and Mr Davenport walks in.

"Mr. Davenport, can I talk with you?" Chase says "Unless you wanna give me a free ePhone, I don't want to hear it." Mr Davenport says.

"I think you do. I messed up. I may have..." Chase is interrupted when Caitlin stops in the middle of the store "Go home, everybody! The sale's over! We're out of phones!" Caitlin says, everyone groans.

"Wait, what about the display model?" Mr Davenport says, woman swipes through the display model, A photo of Leo appears on the monitor which reveals that is Chase's phone.

"Oh, no, no, no, no! Leo!" Chase says "Oh, he really doesn't photograph well." Adam laughs "Oh but if I were you I'd put that as a screen saver" McKayla laughs.

"Yeah, I suppose we could sell the display model." Scoot says, everyone rushes to the display model, and fights over it until Caitlin grabs it.

"Stop it! Look at you people! It's just like the last pretzel, except it's a stupid phone! This is why I hate crowds! You're all loving gadgets, when you should be loving each other!" Caitlin breaks the phone.

Everyone looks at her confused, everything happened so fast.

"Caitlin, you're fired." Scoot says "May I ask why?" Caitlin asks, Scott picks her up and carries her out of the store.

McKayla points at them "I think I have to comfort her now" McKayla says "you can go" Chase says "okay" McKayla goes after Caitlin.

"So, what did you want to tell me?" Mr Davenport asks "That...if you want to buy something for Tasha, you might wanna hurry 'cause the mall closes at 9:00." Chase makes up an excuse.

Next day, at Tech Town.

Chase and McKayla were cleaning the store at the end of the day, Chase holds a laptop case he sighs and sits under a counter and puts the case aside.

"Okay, another day successfully completed I think" Chase smiles proudly, McKayla smiles "You really like this don't you?" McKayla says dusting the tablets in the display.

"Yeah! This is where I belong!" Chase says, he feels recognized there, besides everything being a great professional experience for him, but he also says that to strike a pose for McKayla.

She smiles and walks towards him "I..." McKayla thinks about whether to approach him or not, she knows the rules that Scoot said but, she sees this as an opportunity to tease Chase.

"I really like seeing you like this..." McKayla says softly approaching him "Like what?" Chase asks "Confident and Responsible" McKayla says, knowing how to hit two of his weak points in which he feels insecure, Chase raises his eyebrow.

"Oh well, you'll see that a lot if you spend time with me" Chase smile confident and smugly, McKayla bites her lip "Great.." McKayla says.

McKayla approaches him and leans on the counter, getting between his legs "I love It" McKayla says in a tone almost like a whisper, Chase gives a nervous chuckle "Uh...That's the kind of approach that Scoot doesn't want to happen between us" Chase says, McKayla tilts her head.

She gets a little closer to him, he's still sitting at the counter, McKayla looks around "Scott isn't here" McKayla says quietly, Chase's eyes widen a little "What the hell does she mean by that?" He thinks.

McKayla rests her hands on his legs and smiles, Chase looks at his legs and at her starting to blush "But he can show up at any moment so..." Chase says with a trembling voice, McKayla comes closer and he puts his hands back on the counter trying to move away.

"Relax Chase" McKayla says softly, with a giggle "We can't pass the line, but we can play on the border" She thinks, she starts to put her hand on his neck, he looks at her scared but he wants to see what happens "Rules Chase, there are rules, don't forget that" he thinks.

"Macky, we don't..." Chase says observing how much she has already leaned into him, it creates a weird feeling of butterflies in his stomach, different from what he is used to.

McKayla admires the freckles on his neck "What, I shouldn't do something like that?" McKayla says and kisses his neck softly and slowly, Chase starts to breathe faster "Oh Don't do that...or do it" Chase thinks, closing his eyes to better feel the sensation of her kissing his neck.

McKayla starts to move her face away from his neck "See nothing bad happened?" McKayla whispers in his ear, she laughs inside because his nervousness at that moment is absolutely adorable.

"Yeah" Chase sighs, McKayla moves her hands up his thigh and prepares to kiss his neck again, she gently presses her lips to his neck again "Oh okay, that's good... wait, not That good. get a grip man!" Chase thinks and opens his eyes feeling something he shouldn't feel.

He knows very well what's happening he's not naive, quite the opposite. But the situation has become more tense than he is able to handle at the moment "Oooh! If this is how it feels like being turned on, cool but I didn't want to know RIGHT NOW!!" He thinks and laughs nervously.

McKayla looks at his face as he starts to giggle nervously "Gosh, Seriously. Now? are you kidding me?!" Chase thinks to himself shaking his head. This has never happened before so, having it happen right now just frustrates him.

He starts to push McKayla away from him "Ookay, Macky..." Chase laughs nervously and completely flushed, he closes his legs and quickly grabs the laptop case that was next to him and puts it under his lap as he pushes her away form him.

"Maybe I overreacted, but I don't feel the slightest bit sorry" McKayla think, she frowns with a smile "We can't..." Chase swallows hard and makes a point of holding that laptop case in his lap.

"Yeah i know, I'm just messing you" McKayla laughs "Indeed" Chase thinks, he laughs nervously "Hahaha you and your jokes" Chase says, tapping his leg anxiously on the counter "What's wrong with him?" McKayla think.

Chase clears his throat "Everything okay?" McKayla says "Everything's great!" Chase tries to stay calm "Uh sorry I didn't mean to make you nervous" McKayla says "Oh I wish you had made me Just nervous" Chase thinks.

"No, It's okay" Chase says, McKayla smiles "great" McKayla takes a deep breath "Whatever I did to him was mean, poor boy. He's clearly a mess inside" McKayla thinks, Chase tries to control himself.

"Uh, Caitlin and I are going to dinner at the mall's cafeteria, are you coming with us?" McKayla asks, Chase nods "yeah" Chase says, McKayla smiles and starts to leave the store.

Chase get off from the counter and and looks down "Nope, Not yet" he thinks and sits at the counter again keeping the case on his lap.

"Aren't you coming?" McKayla asks seeing that he doesn't follow her "Uh...can you... give me a minute?" Chase says nervously, McKayla frowns and looks at the case on his lap "Um I told Scott I was going to...Order more of these laptops for stock" Chase smiles tightly.

"oh you want me to help?" McKayla asks "No! No N-No need!" Chase says not wanting her to go back inside the store again, McKayla frowns in confusion "Seriously, I'll meet you after...I sort this out" Chase says, McKayla smiles "Okay" McKayla leaves.

Chase waits for her to leave and sighs throwing his head back "No! Why?!" Chase complains to himself, embarrassed but relieved that McKayla didn't seem to notice what was happening.
