At school.

Bree is heading towards her locker, Chase and Adam follow her, eager for something "Come on Bree, we're going home now. Time to get your things out of your locker" Chase says.

"Yeah, it's not like we're waiting for you to open your locker or anything." Adam says, Bree frowns at him and Chase looks at him questioningly "I mean, open it" Adam says with a little voice and a smile.

"Will you leave me alone? Can I go two minutes without you two hovering around me?" Bree says irritated "Bree, with an attitude like that, it's a wonder that you don't get pranked more often" Adam says, Chase hits him on the arm and Bree glares at him.

Adam and Chase walk away and Caitlin and McKayla walks in, both wearing the Tech Town uniform.

After McKayla got a job there, Caitlin thought it would be a great opportunity for her to start her work study, McKayla then helped Caitlin get hired and they thought it would be cool since Tech Town is hiring to give Bree that opportunity too.

"Hey, Bree, you know how you've always said you wanted to work a part-time job with us?" Caitlin says, McKayla smiles "I never said that." Bree says "Just agree with me Bree. It'll be over quicker." Caitlin says not very nice, McKayla puts her arm around Caitlin.

"What Cait is trying to say is that we are both doing work study at Tech Town and they're hiring, We wanted to know if you are interested. It would be cool to work together" McKayla says gently, Caitlin smiles in agreement.

"What's Tech Town?" Bree asks, Caitlin gasps "Oh! It's only the most awesome store in the mall. They make you work weekends, but what do you have going on anyway?" Caitlin says.

"She only says that because they pay more to those who promote the store... This reminds me there's no better place than Tech Town! The Town of spec-Tech-ularities!!" McKayla says enthusiastic handing out a store card to students passing by.

"They make you say that?" Bree asks "No, that was all me" McKayla giggles "why didn't you like it?" McKayla says, Bree shakes her head "I don't know if I wanna work at an electronics store." Bree tries to open the closet and her hand gets stuck with glue.

"What the..." Bree pulls her hand away, Chase and Adam walk over laughing "Seriously? Glue?" Bree says "That's quite the sticky situation you got there." Chase and Adam laugh, McKayla giggles and Caitlin looks at her frowning, McKayla clears her throat, she didn't think it was funny but she thought it was cute the way Chase said it.

"You know what? If it gets me away from my two brothers, I would take a job as a lifeguard at a sewage plant." Bree tells Caitlin and McKayla

"So you're in?" Caitlin asks "Yeah!" Bree says with her hand stuck in the locker "Cool!" McKayla says excitedly "Great! See you at the store. Oh, and Tech Town's a classy place, so leave the "sewer" talk at school" Caitlin walks away.

"Hey, dipwads. How do I get my hand loose?" Bree says "Hmm. Not sure. But if you figure it out, let me know." Adam shows several things glued to his hand, McKayla shakes her head with a smile and starts to leave.

Chase starts to follow her "Hey! So... Tech Town, is that where you're working?" Chase asks "No, I just like dressing like them and being behind their counter because it's cozy" McKayla says sarcastically.

Chase laughs "How cute she is" he thinks, pressing his lips to avoid saying that "Look, it would be cool if you went there after school, that's when my shift starts. If you want?" McKayla suggests, Chase puts his hand in his pockets.

"Huh, maybe I will" Chase smirks trying to be charming, McKayla frowns "Maybe I'll be there" McKayla says "Maybe I'll see you" Chase says keeping the tone.

"Maybe I'll help you" McKayla says "And maybe I'll buy something" Chase clicks his tongue pointing at her.

McKayla laughs "Okay, I would be very grateful if you would do that" McKayla says, Chase slightly closes his eyes rethinking why he said that "I'll show up there" Chase says.

"Good, see ya" McKayla walks away and Chase watches her leave with a smile.

At Tech Town.

Bree is waiting for Scott to verify her information with Caitlin and McKayla "Congratulations. You're hired." Scott says "Really?" Bree says excitedly "Yeah, I'm as shocked as you are." Scott says.

"The fact that Caitlin already put you in the uniform beat out your complete lack of work experience." Scott says, Caitlin nudges McKayla "I told you it was a good idea" Caitlin says, McKayla smiles and shakes her head.

"Here's your Tech Town nametag." Scott gives the nametag that belonged to Ming to Bree.

Bree laughs awkwardly "It says "Ming"." Bree says "Yeah, that's the last person I fired." Scott says "I miss Ming, she always brought me a frozen yogurt during breaks" McKayla smiles.

"That's all she was good for, since she didn't know the difference between a flash drive and an SSD." Scott laughs, Bree frowns and looks at Caitlin, who is mouthing "I don't know." Scott looks at her and she joins in with Scott's laughter "SS-Duh" Caitlin says, Scott galres at her "Show Ming the ropes." Scott leaves.

"Relax, he's not so bad once you know him better" McKayla says "Easy for you to say, you're his favorite" Caitlin rolls her eyes "the trick is in the good first impression...And knowing what an SSD is" McKayla smiles gently

"Bree, I am so happy you're working here." Caitlin says "Me too. I love not being around my stupid brothers. It is so liberating." Bree she says excitedly "I know the feeling, I'm grateful that Trent doesn't know how to get here without getting lost at the intersection two blocks away" McKayla smiles.

"You know what I find liberating? Now that you're the newbie, I don't have to do all the cruddy jobs. You do." Caitlin grabs a bucket and mop and hands it to Bree. "Have fun cleaning the bathroom!" Caitlin says sing songy.

"I thought you said this job was fun." Bree says "Oh sweet Bree, no job is fun, otherwise it wouldn't be called job...it would be called fun" McKayla says, Bree frowns "Well speak for yourself, Now that you're here, I'm having a blast!" Caitlin tells Bree excitedly and leaves.

At Tech Town.

Caitlin and McKayla are at one of the store's counters when Bree returns with the bucket and mop and a smile on her face.

"I mopped, I swept, and I guarantee you the ladies room has never been cleaner." Bree says proudly "Uh that's really something to be proud of" McKayla says sarcastically "Why do you look so happy about it? You're kind of creeping me out, and that's coming from me." Caitlin says.

"Trust me. Having to clean a workplace toilet is still better than being around my stupid brothers." Bree says when Chase walks in "Hello, ladies." Chase smiles.

Bree walks up to him "Chase...what are you doing here?" Bree laughs uncomfortably "I just came down to see what this Tech Town was all about. And I also came to evaluate the customer service, if you know what I mean" Chase whispers to Bree and points to McKayla at the next counter.

Bree looks at him annoyed "Nice setup. You guys have all the latest models. Except for this one. This one's last year's." Chase points to a tablet on display, Scott listens to the conversation and quickly approaches, leaning his leg on the counter.

"I couldn't help but overhear. I can assure you we only have the most current models on display." Scott says "Scott, this is my brother and I can assure you that he's leaving. Bye bye." Bree tries to push Chase out of the store but he dodges "Nope." Chase says.

Chase returns until Scott, McKayla and Caitlin grow closer "This model's old. I mean, I know the shell hasn't changed, but look at that screen quality. There's no way that's glare resistant." Chase says, McKayla smiles at him which makes him give Scott an even more convinced smile.

"You're right. This is the old model. No one's ever noticed that, Caitlin!" Scott says, Caitlin looks at him upset "Oh he really doesn't like you" McKayla tells her, Caitlin crosses her arms "And that makes him the stupidest guy in the world even though he knows all the names of cables that exist" McKayla says softly to Caitlin hugging her, Caitlin smiles at her friend's comfort.

"Well, Chase, thanks for comin' on down. Now why don't you go lecture people on the evils of sodium at the pretzel hut?" Bree says, Chase snorts "Where do you think I just came from?" Chase says.

Bree tries once again to get Chase out of the store "Wait! It's probably a long shot, but I'm looking for one more hire. Especially someone with your tech-spertise." Scott chuckles "Well, I'm glad I've exceed your tech-spectations." Chase smiles, the two threaten to do a high five which ends up going wrong, and they smile awkwardly

"What the tech is going on?!" Bree says confused "So, what do you say? Any interest in working here?" Scott asks, Chase gives a slight smile and quickly looks at McKayla who is talking to Caitlin on the other side of the store.

"No. No, no, no, no. He has NO interest in working here. Chase, tell him you have no interest." Bree says, Chase smirk "0111 00101." Chase says, Scott laughs "He just said yes to my offer in binary code." Scott says.

"Oh. I wonder what's binary for "I hate my life"" Bree says, Scott and Chase think "011 0001..."I GET IT!" Bree interrupts them both.

"Welcome to the team, Chase. You are Tech Town's newest employee." Scott hugs Chase and the two walk away, Bree looks at them in disbelief "No. No, no, no, no. This can't be happening!" Bree says.

Caitlin runs up to her "Bree, I've got a very important job for you!" Caitlin says, Bree holds Caitlin's arms "Anything to get me away from this." Bree day with wide eyes "Grab your mop. Someone yakked by the monitors." Caitlin says, Bree looks at her frustrated.

McKayla was at the store checkout when Chase walks in wearing the Tech Town uniform.

"Guess who Tech Town's new employee is!" Chase says excitedly, McKayla looks him up and down.

"Woah! you look so good in uniform" McKayla says almost like a sigh, she wasn't supposed that out loud, Chase looks at himself "Uh, T-thanks, usually I don't think green is my color but..." Chase says slightly nervous, McKayla's eyes widen and she blushes "Damn, did I say that out loud?!" She thinks.

"Uh...Yeah, green looks...It's a beautiful color" McKayla looks away from him, trying to disguise the previous comment, Chase smiles "I'll definitely wear green more often" He thinks.

"I'm glad you work here" McKayla says without looking at him, Chase tilts his head looking at her "Me too, I'm glad you're here too" Chase says, McKayla gives him a quick smile.

Since McKayla got this job, plus the time she has in dance classes and school, her schedule has been packed, and the same goes for Chase, he missed spending time with her outside of school, This kind of solved the problem, Chase sees a customer in need of assistance and goes to him.

Bree is mopping the floor while glaring at Chase angryly.

"Caitlin, Chase is the newbie. Why am I still doing all the grunt work?" Bree asks Caitlin "I have to stay on his good side. He's clearly management material." Caitlin points at Chase, McKayla leans on the counter "he's material of many things" McKayla says in a dreamy voice "There's a bucket of water right there. Don't make me throw it on you" Bree says, McKayla rolls her eyes.

Caitlin sighs "It's always the creepy little guys who make it in tech." Caitlin says "Creepy girls seem to be doing pretty well, too." Bree says sarcastically, Caitlin galres at her.

"I'm gonna ride his coattails to the top. And the gather enough dirt on him to get him canned." Caroline says with a psychedelic smile, McKayla frowns at her, she never knows whether to worry or laugh when she does that, Caitlin walks away.

"Bree, why don't you just act mature and treat your brother like he's just another employee so he won't bother you" McKayla suggests "Because I was here first!" Bree says, McKayla wipes her face, Bree walks up to Chase.

"Thanks for coming down to Tech Town, where we always tech care of you" Chase says excited after making a sale with a customer.

"You know, you don't have to say that after every sale." Bree says "You do if you wanna be employee of the month, which by the way, I already am and it's only my second day." Chase says convinced.

"And would you look at that? A nametag with my name on it." Chase points to his nametag, smiling smugly "Oh, yeah? Joke's on you. I got Ming's nametag. You got her pants." Bree points to his pants, Chase frowns "Oh yeah, they really are" McKayla chuckles.

Chase galres at her "But they look much better on you" McKayla says flirtatiously, Chase smiles shyly and she leaves.

"Look, you have to quit." Bree says "Why?" Chase says "You can terebly flirt with McKayla and be a pain in the ass anywhere else" Bree says, Chase rolls his eyes.

"It's not about that. I like it here. If you've got a problem with it, then maybe you should quit." Chase says "I was here first!" Bree says irritated, Scott approaches "Hey!" Scott knocks two boxes to get their attention.

"No bickering between employees. Now, I don't want to play favorites here, but I like him and not you." Scott says, Bree looks at him angryly.

At the end of the day, Scott walks in.

"Great day today, Tech Towners! Chase, I think you've got a bright future here." Scott says Chase smiles.

"And McKayla, you too. You have everything to be the smile that brings and welcomes people to this store" Scott says, McKayla smiles delicately.

"Me too!" Caitlin smiles and runs to him "Go home, Caitlin!" Scott shouts, Caitlin laughs akwardly and then runs away.

Scott walks up to Bree "And Chase's sister...you left mop streaks in the ladies room." Scott says "What were you doing in the ladies room?" Bree says, Scott hesitates "You're good." Scott says.

"Oh, and by the way, my name is Bree." Bree says "Really? Might wanna stick with Ming." Scott laughs, Chase joins him and the two make a high five that goes wrong and is just embarrassing again.

"All right, you guys tidy up. I gotta run to Foot World. They're holding a pair of socks for me." Scott shows off his sock "Your flexibility is quite remarkable I must say" McKayla says, Scott smiles at her sarcastically.

"Chase, you're in charge till I get back." Scott leaves.

"Ya hear that? Just like a mission, I'm in charge." Chase tells Bree, he tries to rest his leg on the counter like Scott does but shows difficulty in doing so, McKayla frowns with a smile "Why did I find that attractive? There must be something wrong with me" She thinks.

"And just like a mission, you're obnoxious about it." Bree throws the cloth in her hands at him "I'm outta here." Bree starts to leave "Come on, Bree. Help me clean this place up or I'll have to tell Scott and you're already not his favorite." Chase says.

"Have you seen that guy? I don't wanna be his favorite!" Bree says "She's right, being his favorite doesn't necessarily have benefits" McKayla says "Weren't you his favorite before me?" Chase asks "and that's why I have basis to say. And also thanks for that" McKayla chuckles.

"Okay, Just straighten up the display models and dust the screens. And when you're done, start vacuuming." Chase tells Bree "Sure thing, boss." Bree uses her super speed to knock down a display.

"Bree! What did you do?" McKayla says worried "Scott's gonna be back here any minute!" Chase says "Oh, yeah. Too bad you're the one in charge, so if the store is wrecked, it's on you." Bree says innocently.

"Seriously, is this how you want to resolve things?" McKayla says, Bree shrugs "Oh, you think you're so clever, don't you? Well, you forgot one thing. I can do this' Chase uses his molecular kinesis to arrange the display, he gives Bree a mocking smile as he does so, she doesn't seem to care.

"Oh, please. You're gonna have to move faster than that." Bree uses her superspeed to mess up the rest of the store, McKayla hides behind the counter so she doesn't get hit by the boxes Bree throws."You're only moving further away from Employee of the Month!" Chase says dodging the boxes.

At Tech Town.

Chase and McKayla are frantically trying to clean the store while Bree leans against the store counter.

"Macky, the headphones are on the other display" Chase throws a box to McKayla "Sorry, I don't have bionic memory" McKayla says, Chase points to a sign that says "headphones" on the display behind her "Oh well look at that" McKayla says awkwardly.

"Good luck talking your way out of this one, Mr. Employee of the Month." Bree mocks "Great. I'm gonna get fired. Why would you do this?" Chase says, already hopeless.

"Because. I finally found one normal thing for myself, away from you and Adam and you took it away from me." Bree says "I wasn't trying to. I just really like it here." Chase says.

"You guys are always mocking my genius. But at least here, it was appreciated." Chase says "Aww!" McKayla says "For $8.95 an hour." Chase says "Oh!'" McKayla says.

"You make $8.95?" Bree says in disbelief "You don't?" McKayla says, Bree quickly glares at her "Okay, fine. I get it. I guess we both needed this. But if we're gonna work together, no more bossing me around. When we're here, you're not my mission leader. We're equals." Bree says "Now we're talking" McKayla smirk proudly.

"Deal. Although our paychecks tell a different story." Chase says discreetly.

"Like the socks? Got 'em at Foot World." Scott says outside the store "Scott's coming back!" Chase says "I distract him!" McKayla says and leaves.

"Use your superspeed to clean this place up." Chase tells Bree, she crosses her arms "Well, I mean if you want to. No big deal or anything. Totally your call." Chase says "Mhm." Bree says doubtfully "But if you could make that call soon, that'd be great." Chase says, Bree uses her superspeed to tidy the store up.

"Whoa. Nice job." Chase says "Thanks." Bree smiles "It's not as neat as I would like it, but..." Chase says as Bree starts to move to mess everything up again "Better. It's better. It's better. Thank you." Chase stops her

Scott and McKayla walks, he holds two frozen yogurts, and McKayla eats another one "Did you decide to do Ming's tradition?" McKayla says about the frozen yogurts "yeah, like I said it was the only thing she was good at...No wonder that's where she works now" Scott says, McKayla agrees.

"Here you go, Chase." Scott hands Chase a frozen yogurt "Oh. Sorry, I only have two hands. Couldn't carry three. And I forgot about you." Scott tells Bree.

"It's okay, Scott. Bree really helped me clean the place up, so you can have mine." Chase hands Bree his frozen yogurt, she smiles.

"Oh! It's that kind of selfless attitude that's gonna make you a Tech Town Star." Scott says, Chase gives a proud smile "But I'm gonna eat both." Scott takes the frozen yogurt from Bree's hand and leaves, they look at him confused.

"Relax, I bet I can get two free frozen yogurts with Ming for you guys" McKayla winks, Bree and Chase laugh, and they head out to the frozen yogurt shop.
