In the gym.

Bree and Leo walk in and see all the students working on building dominoes.

"What's going on in here? Domino Domination?" Bree says "I don't know anything about dominos, but if it means gym class is canceled, I'm all for it." Leo says.

Caitlin and McKayla walks in holding a basket of dominos "Oh, hey, Caitlin. Are you doing the Domino Domination?" Bree says ""Doing"? No. Annihilating every competitor that comes my way? Yes." Caitlin says.

"what about you M.C?" Leo asks "It's already tradition for me to be Cait's faithful squire in the annihilation and domination of dominoes" McKayla says, Caitlin smiles at her "You may not know this, but I come from four generations of domino-droppers." Caitlin says.

"And that's something you're proud of?" Leo says "I got stuck with second place last year. If it happens again, I'll have to shave my head, move to the desert, and hope the coyotes will accept me as one of their own." Caitlin says, McKayla rolls her eyes

"That's something a stable person would say." Leo says "Cait is a little competitive" McKayla says quietly "I'm not competitive!!" Caitlin says irritated "This is what competitive people say" McKayla says.

"So, how do these competitions work?" Bree asks "You get points for number of dominos toppled and originality. My designs are super original 'cause, well, there's only one me!" Caitlin says "Amen to that!" Leo says.

"She's not very humble, but it's no lie that her designs are good" McKayla says "McKayla is the only one who always follows me in these competitions. My other teammates just bailed. They couldn't handle the pressure." Caitlin scoffs, McKayla sighs knowing exactly why.

Bree chuckles "The pressure of dominos?" Bree laughs, Caitlin gives her a hard look "Sorry." Bree says "Don't play with it, belive me" McKayla says "I just wish we didn't have to set it all up by ourselves." Caitlin says and points to McKayla.

"Well, hey, we'll help you. That sounds fun." Bree says "Uh, no it does not. And who is "we"?" Leo says "Okay, come on, Leo, what else do you have going on today?" Bree says "Anything. I have anything else going on today. Fine. I'll do it." Leo says.

McKayla starts nodding and swinging her arms silently behind Caitlin's back, telling Bree and Leo that they shouldn't do that, Bree and Leo frown "Great." Caitlin smiles and turns to McKayla who casually leans on a table "Yey!" McKayla smiles pretending to be excited.

McKayla takes a box full of dominoes and begins to assemble them "On one condition. I get to be the one who knocks over the first domino." Leo says "You can't be the tipper! The tipper gets all the glory. I'm always the tipper!" Caitlin says "Well, give my best to the coyotes." Leo starts to walk away.

"What a shame they're going to miss all the fun" McKayla says sarcastically "Fine!" Caitlin says with hesitation, Leo stops "You can be the tipper." Caitlin rolls her eyes "Oh damn it" McKayla says to herself.

Leo walks back "And we'll be Team Leo." Leo smiles "I will break you in half." Caitlin says angryly "Team Caitlin it is." Leo says scared.

"Actually, we're going to be team McKatlin!" Caitlin smiles, McKayla stands up "wait, for real?" McKayla says "yeah, you're like my dominos sister, and in all these years you've never won any of the glory..." Caitlin says.

"Aw Cait!' McKayla says "...you never got the glory because people can't see your small contribution overshadowed by my amazing designs and my amazing family legacy" Caitlin says, McKayla makes a face "You know sometimes it's only better if you stop talking, but I love you and I appreciate your... insignificant gesture of affection" McKayla says.

"what you do is what you get Mack" Caitlin says "Shut up before you hear something you don't want to hear" McKayla says "Okay I stopped!" Caitlin says.

McKayla rolls her eyes, Caitlin doesn't say these things out of spite, McKayla knows that, Caitlin is just sincere and convinced beyond the point, it's stronger than her saying things without thinking.

But despite this, in small gestures that are often ruined by exaggerated and thoughtless behavior, Caitlin makes an effort to reciprocate and show her affection for McKayla, another of the reasons why McKayla never gave up on Caitlin.

In the gym.

Bree, Leo and McKayla are setting up dominoes and Caitlin watches them while tapping a ruler in her hand "You guys are doing a great job. Just one quick question... Are you trying to ruin my life?!" Caitlin says.

"To be honest, your life was kind of a mess before we got here." Leo says, Caitlin mock laughs in response "Cait, go easy on them" McKayla says "I am!" Caitlin says, McKayla runs her hand over her forehead impatiently.

"I specifically told you the spaces must be half an inch to two-thirds apart. More than that, and the topple is gone. We'll have no topple!" Caitlin demandingly tells Leo.

Bree get up "Okay, Caitlin, I know this is only the 83rd time you've made us start over, but we've been working for hours. How 'bout a break?" Bree suggests "Winners don't take breaks, Bree! Ugh!" Caitlin rolls her eyes.

"Uh, we're in a domino competition. I'm pretty sure no one here is a winner." Leo says "Stop Leo, no type of sport should be despised" McKayla says setting up the dominoes "That's it! Take a lap, Leo." Caitlin says "and the same goes for competitors" McKayla says frustrated "This might be the first time I actually enjoy running" Leo starts running.

"Isn't this the best time ever?" Caitlin tells Bree, excited "If I say no, can I take a lap too?" Bree says, Caitlin mocks laughs and slowly taps the ruler in his hand.

McKayla sighs and stands up "Okay, Cait, you know how much I value and appreciate any type of competition or sport, but what do I always tell you?" McKayla puts her hand on Caitlin's shoulder "Don't let the competitive spirit die?" Caitlin says.

"No, I say don't let Sport die. And Sport in my opinion is for everyone to practice a liberating and pleasurable activity for everyone involved..." McKayla says, Caitlin rolls her eyes "Get to the point, Mack!" Caitlin says impatiently.

Caitlin crosses her arms "I'm just trying to say that you're ruining what could be a fun experience for all of us..." McKayla says "Oh i am ruining the experience?" Caitlin says "Pretty much, yeah!" McKayla says "in my opinion it's you who are ruining everything by not doing anything right!" Caitlin says.

McKayla looks at Bree "Listen, We will never win if you don't collaborate with the rest of us as a team!" McKayla says "Didn't it occur to you that maybe if we didn't stop by every five minutes so I could hear some lame moral lecture from you, we would already be done!" Caitlin says.

"Yes, but like I said, part of the sport is the well-being of everyone involved" McKayla says "You're insufferable!" Caitlin says, McKayla insists on this on purpose, to make Caitlin come to her senses, McKayla usually beats her due to her tiredness, the strategy is to irritate Caitlin more than she irritates others, and make her rethink about it.

McKayla raises her eyebrow showing dominance and making Caitlin see that the argument won't end anytime soon if she doesn't surrender.

"Ugh! Okay Fine!" Caitlin says impatiently "I'll try to help you and I'll... take it easy" Caitlin says irritated, McKayla looks at her proudly and turns to Bree "Mack, this isn't the kind of thing to be proud of" Bree says.

In the gym.

Caitlin keeps mumbling in Bree's ear while she sets up the dominoes as "Mnh-mnh, mnh-mnh!" Caitlin shakes her head, Bree rolls her eyes "Uh-huh. Uh-huh." Caitlin smiles, Bree sets the domino "Oop! No! Naaaagghhhh!" Caitlin mumbles "Just...tell me where it goes!" Bree says impatiently, Caitlin shows her where to put the domino.

"Didn't you make her surrender to helping us and taking it easy?" Bree says quietly to McKayla "unfortunately. That Is her helping and taking it easy" McKayla says frustrated.

Perry walks in.

"Wow! I just want to say that I am really impressed by the way you've all worked so hard to meticulously craft such beautiful works of art" Perry starts jumping "Starting check! Starting check!" Perry says, her jumping knocks over a group of student's domino design.

Perry laughs "Well, my work here is done. Happy building, domi-nobodies." Perry leaves, McKayla rolls her eyes.

Leo gets up "Caitlin, I am starving. Can we please stop for a snack?" Leo says Oh, sure, Leo. Let me tell you tonight's special. We have a lovely Chilean sea bass with a delicious side of, get back to work!" Caitlin screams and walks away.

McKayla and Bree look at each other "Well, I've tried everything" McKayla shrugs and continues adjusting the dominos "She is impossible. I can't do this anymore. I'm quitting." Bree says "what?" McKayla says.

"We can't quit now. I'm a tip-top tipper, and I need to tip." Leo raises his finger with an upset face "Yeah" McKayla says

"Then why don't we form our own team?" Bree says "No, I can't abandon Caitlin" McKayla says "Why are you helping that crazy woman?!" Leo asks.

McKayla sighs and gets up "because as crazy as she is, she's my friend and I know that if I don't do this for her... no one will, just like you guys are giving up on her right now many others did so....But not me, everyone needs at least one person in their lives to be their steady support, and I'm hers" McKayla says.

Leo puts his hand on her shoulder "Aw Mack, you're so good...I feel ao sorry for you" Leo says, McKayla galres at him.

"Okay but we're going to make our own team" Bree says "And I support you in this, it's better that way, but I'm going to stick it with Caitlin...and I speak for both of us when I wish her the best of luck" McKayla smiles "Thanks Mack" Bree he says and pulls Leo to the cornerm

"Look, let's do this. You come up with a design, and I'll set it up with my super speed. And ya still get to tip." Bree says "Okay, I'll do it. But you have to tell Señorita Straitjacket." Leo says and points to Caitlin who goes to McKayla "Deal." Bree says.

They walks up to Caitlin "Caitlin, we need to talk." Bree says "Okay, as long as it's not about food or a break or me treating you like humans." Caitlin says "Oh boy" McKayla sighs.

"Look, this isn't working out, so Leo and I are forming our own team." Bree says "What?! But...!" Caitlin makes nonsense sounds, looking distressed, she quickly looks at McKayla who nods and puts her hand on her best friend's back "Okay." Caitlin tries to act natural.

"I respect your decision. May the best man win." Caitlin extends hand, Bree shakes Caitlin's hand but she doesn't let go "Are you trying to break my hand?" Bree asks "No. Is it working?" Caitlin asks in a threatening tone.

"Okay Cait, that's enough!" McKayla pulls Caitlin's hand.

A while later, during dinner break's, Leo is alone in the gym when Bree walks in.

"Is it ready?" Bree asks "Yeah. Here's the design." Leo hands it to her "Better hurry. Dinner break's almost over." Leo says

Bree studies the design for few seconds "Got it." Bree says, Bree sets up Leo's design with her super speed, taking a large portion of the room.

"Whoa." Leo says impressed, Bree throws her hair back "5,000 dominos in 3 seconds. Domin holla'!" Bree celebrates proudly "Domi-no-you-didn't." Leo says, Bree galres at him.

Caitlin and McKayla walks in to see Bree and Leo's extravagant design, Caitlin gasps, McKayla smiles in awe "Woah!" McKayla says, Caitlin takes a deep breath "I'm a pretty princess and people love me." Caitlin deep inhale "I'm a pretty princess and people love me." Caitlin slowly opens her eyes as McKayla hugs her.

"Hey, Caitlin." Bree says "we were gone for a half hour. How did you set all these up?" Caitlin says, McKayla shakes her head, knowing exactly how they did it.

"It's amazing how much you can accomplish when you're not out of your mind!" Leo says loudly, McKayla crosses her arms knowing they cheat but she can't say anything about.

"I'm gonna lose." Caitlin says feeling defeated "Oui, Madame." Leo says convinced, McKayla tilts her head indignantly "I'm finished." Caitlin starts to bend down, McKayla looks at her with pity "Fini." Leo says "My life is over." Caitlin whimpers "I only took one year of French. Let's keep it simple." Leo says, Caitlin glares at him.

In the gym. Bree and Leo are getting ready to topple their domino design.

"Ladies and gentlemen, it's tippin' time." Leo bends down to topple the first domino "Incoming!" Adam screams in the hallway suddenly, the llama, that Adam stole from the rival school and that he accidentally swallowed nano robots, spits acid spit lands on the wall, making a boy drop a broom which lands on the floor and topples the first domino.

"No!" Leo says Watching all the dominoes tapping over perfectly in sequence, the crowd claps and cheers at the end of it.

In the gym.

Caitlin is upset about losing the competition, McKayla walks up to her "Hey, everything okay?" McKayla asks "How will everything be okay?" Caitlin says.

McKayla puts her hand on her friend's shoulder "I'm a complete and total disappointment" Caitlin whimpers "Stop it, winning isn't everything, maybe you should see this all as a lesson" McKayla says.

"How can you stay by my side, even when I'm a loser and act like a jerk?" Caitlin says "You know, I will always be by your side, even if it's to pull your ear and tell you that you're wrong, because I love you, and in a friendship like this we must... contribute so that our friend become the best version of yourself, and the other way around" McKayla says gently, Caitlin smiles.

"Thank you Mack, you're amazing, I love you" Caitlin hugs McKayla "And you girl... you're annoying as hell, and really mean!" McKayla says in a laughing tone, Caitlin puts her hand on her face and chuckles regretfully "I exaggerated, right" Caitlin says "Yes, you always exaggerate, you don't even notice anymore..." McKayla says, Caitlin sighs.

"What do I do? I'm a lost cause, Leo and Bree deserved to win, but they will never want to invite me to anything again" Caitlin says "Hey, relax, there's still a way to fix it, starting with you apologizing sincerely to them" McKayla says.

"You're right...as always" Caitlin rolls her eyes and then smiles at McKayla, who shrugs, the two go to Leo and Bree

"Hey guys, congratulations!" McKayla tells Leo and Bree "Yeah, Congratulations, guys. I was a jerk. I'm really sorry. You totally deserved to win." Caitlin says upset "Hey, second place is nothing to sneeze at." Bree tries to comfort her "Yeah, but it's not as good as first." Leo says, McKayla hits his arm, he puts his hand on his arm and looks at her with a pained face.

"No, Leo's right. I deserved to lose." Caitlin says, Bree looks at Leo "Actually, Caitlin, we have a confession to make." Bree says "No we don't!" Leo says "Yes you do!" McKayla firmly tells Leo, seeing that this is about their cheating. Bree sighs "Leo and I cheated." Bree says

"I knew it! I knew it! Cheaters! They cheated!" Caitlin starts screaming and pointing and McKayla grabs her arm "Hey, hey! Pretty princess, pretty princess!" Leo says distressed "Damn, don't any of you have a healthy competitive spirit?" McKayla says frustrated, Caitlin rolls her eyes and Leo shrugs.

"Look, we're really sorry. Is there anything we can do to make it up to you?" Bree asks "Well...nationals are next month. They're in Omaha, so my mom will have to drive us. Her car's a 2-seater, but I'm sure you can fit four if we all snuggle real tight." Caitlin turns around momentarily.

"I suggest you run if you can't handle it" McKayla says, Bree and Leo look at each other "And you..."" I'll cover you guys, now run" McKayla says, Leo and Bree run away.

"You'll like my mom. She's a lot like me...but way more intense." Caitlin turns back around to find Bree and Leo have vanished, McKayla smiles awkwardly and Caitlin gasps.

"so...Omaha baby!" McKayla says excitedly trying to be supportive, Caitlin rolls her eyes and smiles at McKayla, leaving Bree and Leo aside.

Later, Chase goes to McKayla's house, as it's the only place they can talk openly about bionics.

In her room, Chase shows her how his force field works, McKayla picks up a tennis ball "Throw it, don't be afraid" Chase smiles "oh I'm not afraid" McKayla chuckles.

McKayla throws the ball towards him and he protects himself with the force field, she throws a baseball at him and he protects himself again, McKayla gasps in awe.

"Wow this is so amazing!" McKayla says trying to touch the force field which it soon deactivates, Chase smiles he loves finally being praised for this, "I know!" Chase says excitedly.

Chase sits at her desk and she sits on the bed "I love your bionics, I have to say!" McKayla says, Chase blushes "Really?" Chase says "yeah, it's literally the most amazing thing I've ever seen in my life!" McKayla says.

Chase looks down playing with his fingers "Uh...I mean, don't get me wrong I already thought you were amazing before I found out about bionics...I didn't" McKayla awkwardly tucks her hair behind her ear.

"I know, I just... it's weird to hear someone who isn't family react to that and... react well" Chase says "I'm being honest" McKayla says "you always are, that's what I like about you" Chase says absentmindedly without realizing what he said.

McKayla frowns with a smile "You.. like it?" McKayla says shyly with her heart racing, Chase's eyes widen "Uh um yeah, I...I just wanted to say that you..." Chase says anxiously.

McKayla smiles gently, Chase swallows hard "I really...admire your honesty, and your..." Chase takes a deep breath, McKayla sits on the edge of the bed "Say it!" McKayla tilts her head.

Chase thinks of a thousand ways to finish that sentence, he feels anxious but is tempted to say everything he thinks and has been thinking since the day he met her.

McKayla anxiously and hopefully waits for a thousand and one possibilities of things he could say, she is so into this that the possibility of this phrase ending badly doesn't even cross her mind.

"...And your beautiful, very beautiful heart" Chase gives a shy smile in the corner of his mouth, after a brief mental preparation. McKayla hugs her knees blushing "Wow, thank you so much, that's... really cool" McKayla says.

Chase shrugs "Yours is more beautiful and amazing than mine" McKayla says shyly, Chase smiles and he shakes his head no "I'm being honest again, I can't be the opposite, sorry" McKayla raises her hands with a smile, Chase laughs.

"That's why I like talking to you" Chase says, McKayla looks at him without hiding the look in her eyes that she's melting for him, finding him cute, very cute, with a sparkle in her eyes.

"That's why we're best friends, right?" McKayla looks down, she's not sure where Chase stands on everything, If he feels what she feels, if he likes her, or if it's just friendship, Chase looks at her for a few seconds thoughtfully.

As much as he knew her feelings, he is afraid. They are doing very well lately, he can't ruin it, that's what's going on in his head. If he doesn't master these feelings and understand what he feels for her, know if it's love or just a teenage crush, he won't take risks and lose everything.

"Yeah, that's why" Chase gives a broken smile, McKayla smiles, feeling good, but she feels a pang in her chest. Just friendship, she thinks.

Chase's cell phone beeps "Oh, look at that! It's a mission alert" Chase says showing his cell phone, McKayla clears her throat and smiles "Oh cool" McKayla says, Chase goes to her window, to avoid Trent, he made a habit of going in and out through her bedroom window.

Chase opens the "See You!" Chase says "Uh..Chase" McKayla says "Yeah!" Chase looks at her anxiously "Would you like to come here more often?" McKayla asks "Well..." Chase says thoughtfuly "It's just that...my window is always open and I know you don't have anyone else to talk to about the missions besides your family so...And I also wanted someone to talk to, my brother is not the listening type" McKayla says, Chase smiles.

"Call me and I'll be here" Chase says, McKayla smiles gently "Great" McKayla says "Bye" Chase says softly and leaves "Bye" McKayla waves to him from the window.

After she closes the window she sighs thoughtfully, she bites her lip and laughs enchantedly, okay, maybe they're just friends, and he only sees her as a friend, McKayla thinks. But that could change, not the reason for her to gives up on him, she smiles positively.

She throws herself on the bed and sighs, putting her hand on her chest as her racing heart slowly returns to its normal beats.
