The main school hallway.

Leo is tormenting Bree with an electronic fly all day.

"Would you cut it out?! I cannot believe you brought Davenport's fly to school. Now I have two little pests following me around." Bree says irritated "How could I not? He's my... wing man." Leo smiles holding the fly.

Adam and Chase walk up to them, Chase has a plastic doll in a baby carrier on his chest "Hey, guys." Chase smiles, Leo tilts his head with a smile.

"Chase, have you been stealing from five-year-old girls again?" Leo says, Chase glares at him "Ha-ha. It's for health class. Each of us has to baby-sit a robo-baby for a night." Chase says.

The doll starts crying "Are you hungry? Yes, you are, my snoogie-woogie-boogie!" Chase says in baby talk and sits on the bench in the middle of the hallway "Just when we thought he couldn't get any creepier." Bree says sarcastically.

"It cries when it's tired or hungry. I have to take care of him, because if I don't, I lose a point. Which, of course, I haven't." Chase reveals a scoreboard of 100 points on the back of the doll.

"And I won't, because I have downloaded every childcare book available. I even know how to rescue a baby out of an alligator's mouth." Chase says as he puts a toy bottle in the doll's mouth, everyone frowns at him "Happens more often than you think." Chase says.

McKayla approaches them also holding a doll but her doll has a bow on its head.

"Hey guys!" McKayla says "Oh do you have a baby too?" Leo says "Yeah not only do I, but this impeccable score is my ticket to the annual dance parade in New York!" McKayla says excitedly showing the scoreboard whit 100 points.

"My parents said if I get A's in this class they'll let me go to the parade this year, and all I have to do is take care of this adorable piece of plastic." McKayla says.

"Why did you put a bow on the doll's head?" Chase asks "Because she's a lovely little girl, Chase!" McKayla says annoyed "I see. Just like her mom" Chase smirked, McKayla smiled sarcastically at him.

Bree turns to Adam "So, where's your baby? Lost it already?" Bree asks "Ha ha. No. Do you really think I'm that irresponsible?" Adam holds up book bag, with only the doll's legs sticking out "It's in here. I named him "Shut Your Cryhole." That way, whenever I say his name, he'll know to stop crying." Adam says.

"I feel so sorry for his future children" McKayla says sitting next to Chase, patting her doll on the back, Chase agrees.

"You keep your baby in a bag? Leo ask 'Yeah! It's super-toasty, books to read if he's bored, and it's totally safe" Adam takes the doll out of his bag, and its shown to be covered in gum, pencils, and other random junk.

"Oh! You found my gum!" Adam puts the gum in his mouth, everyone makes a disgusted face, Adam takes the gum out of his mouth "And a penny!" Adam smiles.

Chase and McKayla stand up "Dude, you are totally gonna fail this assignment." Chase says "No, I'm not, because unlike you, I know what a baby likes. I think like a baby." Adam says proudly, Bree approaches "Yeah, he's got you there." Bree says.

"Oh, yeah? Well, if you're such an expert on babies, why don't we just let the scores speak for themselves?" Chase says as he adjusts his doll in he baby carrier on his chest, McKayla scoffs "Are you guys really going to make this a competition?" McKayla asks.

"Oh yeah, see ? I've got a 98. I'm only two points behind." Adam says, Chase flips doll right side up "That's an 86." Chase says.

Adam's doll cries "Aw, it's okay, "Shut Your Cryhole."" Adam hits the doll on the back and the crying continues "Okay, seriously, shut your cryhole, "Shut Your Cryhole."" Adam screams and leaves.

Chase chuckles "I'm totally going to beat him" Chase says "Oh of course you will, after all you are an expert on babies aren't you" McKayla smirks.

"Oh I am, Mack. Because thanks to the information in the books, I have total theoretical preparation and practical preparation if you count the fact that I've been dealing with that "giant baby guy" over there for years." Chase points at Adam.

"Yeah, I can't disagree with you on that" McKayla says "Seriously, you'll be impressed" Chase smirk, McKayla raises her eyebrow "Oh really?" McKayla says.

"Absolutely, and it will be so easy that I could even guarantee those tickets for you by taking care of your little girl too" Chase smiles gently but smugly, strangely he feels this need to show her that he knows what he's doing, and that he knows how to do it perfectly, he needs to guarantee that.

"You sound very confident" McKayla says, she knows he isn't, but he needs to assure himself that he is, so she goes whit it, without disagreeing with him "That's because I know what I'm talking about" Chase clicks his tongue at her.

Chase gives a small smile, confident that he is managing to convey the image he wants to convey, McKayla looks up at him and she pats her doll on the back with a sigh "Of course, if I need to, I know who I can count on." McKayla starts to leave.

Later. In the main school hallway.

Chase rocks his baby, and McKayla walks down the stairs right behind him with her baby.

"♪ Rock-a-bye, baby, on Chase's shoulder ♪ When you fall asleep, I'll beat Adam at this assignment just like I beat him at everything else ♪" Chase sings and when he finishes he turns to McKayla and gives a small smile.

He's still trying to prove himself capable, he wants to impress her, every time she smiles at him impressed he feels a weird satisfaction, and it's a good feeling that he wants to see her smile again.

McKayla shakes her head with a smile, she finds Chase's attitude cocky but she already knows that this is a part of his personality.

And she's not really thinking about it since she can't help but feel butterflies in her stomach over the fact that Chase has been following her around all day, she feels like everything he's been doing all day is somehow meant for her to notice, she puts her hair behind her ear shyly.

"Baby onboard!" Adam rolls a trash can with his doll on it, McKayla quickly moves out of his way, Adam knocks into Chase, making Chase drops his doll and the buzzer goes off.

"Adam!" McKayla says "I just lost a point because of your stupidity!" Chase says indignantly "Relax. It was an accident." Adam uses a plunger to pick up Chase's doll and the buzzer goes off again.

"Here's your baby." Adam smirks, Chase picks up the baby and sees the score "Now I've lost two points! And so should you. Give me your baby!" Chase tries to take Adam's doll "Chase, it's okay!" McKayla tries to stop him.

"No!" Adam picks up his doll and takes it out of Chase's reach "Too slow! Too short! Too Chase." Adam makes fun of him, McKayla rolls her eyes and rocks her doll.

Adam and Chase fight over the doll, and it gets flung into the nearby vending machine, McKayla gasps and covers her doll's eyes, Adam looks at Chase irritated, Chase smiles "Aw, da liddle guy musta been hungry." Chase says with baby talk.

In the kitchen of the Davenports' house.

Chase runs in "Adam! Where's my baby? I can't find it, and it's time for its 3:15 bath." Chase says "Don't worry. He's already squeaky clean" Adam opens the dishwater and pulls the doll out.

"You put my baby in the dishwasher?!" Chase says indignantly "Yeah, I had to. The toilet's too shallow" Adam hands Chase the doll and Chase squeezes it, sending water streaming out of its ears.

Chase looks at Adam angryly "That's it! You've just declared baby war! The diapers are off." Chase says threateningly, Adam frowns.

In the kitchen.

Chase rocks his baby when Adam walks in "Hey. Where's my baby?" Adam asks "Oh, he wanted a snack." Chase pulls off lid from a tray "Waaaa..." Chase chuckles and Adam's baby is revealed to be trapped in a jello mold.

"You put my baby in a gelatin mold? Joke's on you." Adam says, Chase nods "I'll just eat my way around him." Adam starts aggressively consuming the jello, Chase makes a disgusted face .

In the lab, Chase's doll is attached to a tether string, Adam plays with It when Chase walks in.

"Chase. Your lazy baby needed exercise. I call this one "tether baby." Adam says "No! No! No! No!" Chase says, Adam bats Chase's doll around the tether pole, making the buzzer go off repeatedly, Chase jumps trying to get the doll.

After several attempts he manages to get the doll "Aw, look... He's bad at sports...just like his daddy." Adam mocks, Chase glares at him.

In the kitchen.

Chase is pressing down a waffle iron when Adam walks in "Oh, Adam. Care for some breakfast? I'm making waffles." Chase opens the iron and Adam gasps. Adam's doll's face is now flattened by the waffle iron and the buzzer goes off.

Chase puts some syrup on the doll and gives it to Adam "That oughta shut his cryhole." Chase pats Adam on the back and leaves.

Later Chase is in the living room giving his doll a bottle.

He hears knocking on the door, he gets up and opens the door and McKayla is there holding her doll "Hey!" Chase smiles, and she walks in.

"Hi, I want to ask you a favor" McKayla says "uh sure what?" Chase says "were you serious when you said that about taking care of my baby?" McKayla asks "Of course!" Chase says convinced.

"Great, because this dance audition suddenly came up and I need to go but I can't take her with me, and I don't want to leave her with Trent because..." "It's self-explanatory" Chase says, McKayla nods.

"McKayla relax, If there's anyone to take good care of your baby, it's me!" Chase says, McKayla frowns at him, Chase reevaluates the sentence "uh yeah that does sound weird" Chase says nervously "I know" McKayla chuckles.

"But seriously, she's in good hands" Chase holds McKayla's doll "I know" McKayla says gently looking into his eyes as they both hold the doll, their fingers touch lightly.

McKayla lightly bites her lip as she releases the doll into Chase's hands, who gives a slight smile for a second, blushing.

"Um I need to go, I'm already late" McKayla takes a deep breath and heads towards the door "Of course, bye bye!" Chase says shaking McKayla's doll's arm as if it was saying bye, he chuckles shyly.

McKayla giggles and leaves.

In the living room.

Chase had McKayla's doll sitting on top of a pillow, and his "sleeping" lying next to him in a baby comforter.

Adam walks in "Aw, Chase. Your baby looks cold."Adam fires his heat vision at McKayla's doll "Wait! Aaaah!" Chase screams when he sees the doll start to catch fire.

Chase starts stomping on the baby's face repeatedly, trying to get the fire out. The buzzer goes off multiple times and McKayla's doll's face is partly darkened from the burn marks.

"No No No!" Chase says holding the doll "Ooh. Yikes. Talk about a face only a father could love." Adam laughs, Chase looks at him indignantly and Adam hides his own doll.

Chase shakes his head "Adam! That wasn't my baby it was McKayla's!!" Chase shows the bow that was on the doll's head, now burned.

"Ooohhh!" Adam says "No, she's going to kill me!" Chase says "why were you with her baby?" Adam says "because she had a dance audition and asked me to take care of her baby!" Chase says irritated.

"Wow you're a terrible babysitter" Adam chuckles "She had 100 points now she has..." Chase sees the score "60!" Chase says.

"Why don't you just put a bow on your baby and give it to her?" Adam points to Chase's doll "because thanks to you I still have less points than her!" Chase says irritated.

"We have to deliver these assignments in less than an hour...and now because of me she's going to do poorly in the class and won't even go to the parade she always dreamed of going to..." Chase sits on the couch lamenting, Adam agrees.

"I'm glad to see that you understood the whole situation correctly" Adam pats Chase on the back.

Later, Chase and Adam walk in the gym at school.

"Look what you did to my baby! I had to wrestle his arm from a golden retriever!" Adam says showing the doll's arm.

"Well, thanks to you, McKayla's baby face looks like crème brûlée! We're all gonna fail, and the only person you have to blame is yourself for your hideous-looking cryhole!" Chase says irritated.

Adam gasps "How dare you?! Lucky for you, his ears are full of maple syrup." Adam says, Chase shakes his head "That's it, I'm going to tell McKayla it was all your fault!!" Chase says.

Adam scoffs "It's her fault for trusting you with her baby!" Adam says "Hey! Don't put her in the middle of this, she has no fault in this she only trusted me because she trusted that I was capable" Chase says.

"Oh so you lied to her?" Adam says "No, I'm capable, I just didn't count on Captain Waffle Brain and his son Waffle Face!" Chase says, Adam knocks Chase's doll to the ground and the buzzer sounds.

Chase picks up the doll from the floor and looks at the scoreboard "Thirty-seven points...You monster!" Chase says.

"It's just a number." Adam says "It's not just a number, it was my chance to..." Chase chokes on the words while showing Adam McKayla's doll "Your chance of what?" Adam asks, Chase takes a deep breath "M-My chance to beat you!" Chase says slightly nervous.

"Look, My little guy may have thirty-six, but I'm still proud of him." Adam says Yes, I am, aren't I? Yes, I am, aren't I? " Adam talks baby talk for his doll "Answer me!!!!" Adam yells.

"Wait a minute. If I turn my baby in now, I can still beat you." Chase realizes, he runs to the door but is blocked by Adam, and they start fighting.

Adam and Chase are dueling with their dolls.

"En garde! Aha!" Adam says "Wait! There's a fly on your head." Chase says, one of Leo's flies lands on Adam's forehead, Chase whacks the doll out of Adam's hand and it thuds to the floor. The buzzer goes off.

"Are you gonna get the fly or not?" Adam asks remaining still Chase runs into the main hallway and stops short.

Bree and Leo are standing there while a swarm of robot flies flies over the entire place and the other students are paralyzed on the ground.

"Leo, what's happening?" Chase asks "Oh you know, destroying priceless inventions, unleashed a biohazard, hated by all. Typical Tuesday." Leo says.

McKayla walks in by The main door, she swats away the flies and goes to them "Guys, what's going on?" McKayla says, Chase jumps up and hides the doll from her "M-Mack you're here...yey!" Chase says nervously.

"Yeah, the test ended ahead of schedule so I was able to get back in time to give the doll to the teacher" McKayla says, Chase shakes his head looking at her scared.

"So where is it?" McKayla ask "Uh do you happen to remember your score when you left the baby with me?" Chase asks, if she doesn't remember he would give her his doll.

"100" McKayla says suspiciously "Are...you... sure?" Chase says "Chase, what's going on?" McKayla asks "Uh..." Chase says, he sighs in defeat.

He shows McKayla her burnt doll "Aaahhh!!" McKayla screams, Chase closes his eyes "What happened to her?!" McKayla picks up the doll worriedly.

"I'm really sorry McKayla" Chase says worried "You just had to watch her, what did you do!?" McKayla says "It was Adam's fault!" Chase says, McKayla galres at him.

"No, it's your fault and this ridiculous competition with Adam!" McKayla says irritated, Chase presses his lips together in regret and slightly offended.

Adam runs in "Whoa! Look at all those flies!" Adam says "Hey McKayla" Adam says "You. Flamed my baby!!" McKayla shows the doll "Would you believe me if I said I was teaching her fire prevention?" Adams says.

McKayla stares at him, while Chase looks down upset "Uh...look flies!" Adam tries to distract McKayla, Adam's doll is lifted into the air by the swarm of flies.

Adam gasps "My baby!" Adam shouts, Chase gives a slight smile "Somebody do something! Chase, throw your baby up to get mine down!" Adam says "No way!" Chase says.

"But it's gonna get hurt!" Adam says "Hurt? Adam, it's a plastic doll....It's a plastic doll!" Chase emphasizes and turns to McKayla.

"You hypocrite, you know very well that you're not just a plastic doll!" McKayla says irritated, Adam gasps "That is so insensitive. To you he's just a piece of plastic, but to me, he's become a little fake person friend who almost never judges me. I was supposed to look after him, and I failed. I failed you, my little cryhole!" Adam says in a tearful tone.

Adam looks at his doll in the air, whimpering and sniffling, McKayla looks at her doll upset, Chase looks at her and sighs.

He needs to show her that he doesn't care about this competition with Adam as much as he cares about Adam's feelings and especially her feelings, she messed up but it can still be fixed.

"Okay, fine, I'll help you!" Chase throws his doll into the air to get Adam's down, and it thuds on the ground. The buzzer sounds

Adam takes his doll "Thanks, Chase. That really meant a lot to me." Adam says "Mm-hmm." Chase rolls his eyes "Especially the part where you completely fell for it!" Adam laughs, Chase looks at him indignantly.

Adam kicks Chase's doll and runs away. The buzzer sounds, Chase shakes his head and looks at McKayla, who just rolls her eyes and leaves.

Chase follows her "Mack wait, please let me apologize" Chase puts his hand on her shoulder making her turn to him, McKayla sighs and wraps her arms around her doll.

"Go ahead. Since I'm apparently not going to the dance parade I need some kind of entertainment" McKayla says sarcastically, Chase looks down regretfully "Look, I knew very well that I wasn't in a position to take care of your baby. Because Adam and I weren't even able to take care of ours all day" Chase says.

"So why did you accept it?" McKayla asks "I don't know, I didn't want you to think I was incapable or that Adam was better than me, that's why I took this competition so seriously and messed up everything, I'm sorry" Chase says.

"Do you care that much about what I think of you?" McKayla says, Chase gives a quick blink, yes, he cared extremely about what she thinks of him, he can't stand the idea of her not liking or not approving of his attitude.

"Uh...I'm afraid you won't...Because you are the coolest person I know so...what you think means a lot" Chase says nervously blushing "I never thought you were incapable or that Adam was better than you, I never doubted that. Okay? you don't need to worry" McKayla says gently.

"And...Do you want to know why I never doubted?" McKayla gets a little closer, Chase takes a deep breath without letting it out, blushing even more because of the softly tone of her voice "Because you're the coolest person that I know" McKayla smiles gently.

Chase doesn't react, all he can do is release the breath he was holding with a nervous giggle "okay well... so you're not mad?" Chase asks "Oh no I am. Because you and Adam did me the favor of turning my homework into coal" McKayla says.

"About that, I think I can hack the doll's screen and manipulate the score for you" Chase says "Then do it!" McKayla pushes the doll into Chase's chest and leaves.

Chase looks at her walking away and trying to process the different feelings she made him feel, every moment he spends with her he feels more than ten different types of feelings that leave him extremely confused, but it's not a bad confusion, because at the end of the day he wants to feel everything again.

In the lab, Adam is rock climbing with several plastic dolls when Chase walks in.

"Adam, what are you doing?" Chase asks "I got so lonely I had to adopt six new babies. Meet "Change Your Own Diaper," "Stop Staring At Me," "Quit Whining," "Don't Be a Baby," "I Said Shh!" and Ted." Adam smiles.

"Why would you get six babies?" Chase asks, Adam laughs "Because seven would just be crazy." Adam says

"Adam, this is ridiculous." Chase crosses his arms "You want to take one to McKayla as an apology, don't you?" Adam says, Chase sighs "I'll take Ted" Chase says.

Adam gives Chase the doll and he leaves.
