Another beautiful morning at Mission Creek.

McKayla, as usual, woke up super early, so she would have a moment to herself before her brother Trent woke up.

She was in her room with her headphones on full volume, practicing her dance moves that she had just learned, McKayla's biggest dream was to be a famous dancer.

Nothing makes her feel more free and comfortable than getting lost in the rhythm of a song, when she dances she feels like the world around her disappears, entering a world of her own where she can be herself.

No one in the world understands how dancing makes her feel. Since she was little, she has shown above-average talent and dancing skills, but she still searches for the opportunity for her talent to be finally recognized.

While McKayla dances freely in her room with her eyes closed, her older brother, Trent, opens the door and rolls his eyes when he finds his sister dancing again, something he finds simply silly, he takes one of his socks and throws it at her.

McKayla loses her rhythm when his sock hits her face and falls to the floor, she takes off the phone and looks at him irritated "Come on, weirdo! We're going to miss the bus!" Trent says.

Trent takes his sneakers from the shoe rack in front of the door and goes downstairs, putting on his sneakers, McKayla rolls her eyes and puts on her headphones again, taking her backpack and locking the bedroom door.

The two run out of the house to catch the bus, if there's one thing that McKayla and Trent have in common as sibilings, it's that they're both super athletic, so they always race to the bus.

McKayla is more acting and arrives first "Take that loser!" McKayla says "It's not fair, there's a thorn in my side!" Trent complains, adjusting his sneakers, "I'm sorry I can't hear you! The sound of victory is too loud!" McKayla chuckles.

McKayla is walking the halls of Mission Creek High with her best friend, Caitlin.

"...So after I follow him and a loooong talk, we're back!" Caitlin smiles excitedly, McKayla takes a deep breath "So you're dating Rodney again for the third time this month!?" McKayla says "Yup, I know, he's so into me" Caitlin says.

McKayla stares at Caitlin for a second, frowning. At times when she simply doesn't understand how they both became friends, that's the question, was it due to lack of choice when she moved to this school or just because despite everything, she loved Caitlin.

It's a question that recurrently crosses her mind, but she ignores it, just remembering all the times Caitlin was by her side in these three years of friendship and the affection they both feel for each other.

"But enough about me, tell me what happened to you and Owen?" Caitlin ask "He's nice but... not my type...at all" McKayla says, Caitlin's smile disappears.

"how? I mean, both of you are artists!" Caitlin says "Okay, but other than that there's nothing in common between us" McKayla says, she and Caitlin approach their lockers.

"I'm sorry, but calm down, let's find someone for you" Caitlin says, McKayla leans against the lockers "Cait, I've told you a million times, this love thing isn't for me. So stop trying to set me up on a date!" McKayla says as Caitlin opens her locker.

"Okay okay I understand!" Caitlin says impatiently "And even if I wanted to, have you seen the guys at this school? They're all the same, all bullies or brutes and superficial!" McKayla says frustrated.

"In other words they're all like your brother!?" Caitlin says, McKayla smiles and puts her hand on her shoulder "Oh how do you understand me!" McKayla says with a delicate smile.

"Okay I get it, you're better off alone" Caitlin says "Exactly! And there's nothing wrong with that" McKayla smirk proud of herself "I agree, it's just that I wanted to go on double dates" Caitlin whining.

McKayla presses her lips together "Cait, I love you, but even if I had a boyfriend I wouldn't go on a double date with you" McKayla says, Caitlin tilts her head and looks at her irritated.

McKayla and Caitlin's friendship is formed from pure sincerity, they never lied to each other, nor hid their opinions no matter how painful they may be, but even with their flaws and imperfections, they love each other despite this, that's what makes their friendship true.

Leo Dooley, arrives at school accompanied by three new students, who enter the school with a look of wonder and a sparkle in their eyes as if they had never seen a school before.

One of the boys accompanying him passes McKayla and Caitlin and gives them an awkward wave, but with an enthusiastic chuckle.

McKayla frowns at the boy with a slight confused smile, and waves at him back and the boy leaves giggling.

"Who are they?" McKayla asks Caitlin "I have no idea, I just know that they are with Dooley, maybe they are his new stepsiblings" Caitlin says, McKayla watches the girl who is with them randomly hug the lunch lady.

Leo approaches the girl "Do me a favor and try to act like you've seen the world. I have a reputation to uphold here..." Leo says as Steve approaches him from behind and gives him a wedgie "Ahhh! Good to see you too, Steve!" Leo says laughing painfully.

Bree approaches two girls and holds out her hand "Hi, I'm Bree. I like ponies and girl things" Bree smiles the girls look at her strangely and leave, Bree turns to Leo "Did you see that? I have besties. I can't wait to stab them in the back!" Bree smiles excitedly.

As Adam walks up to another girl who tries to open her locker "Here, little lady, let me help you out with that" Adam says smiling gently and rips off the girl's locker door "Adam!" Chase says worried.

"Would you two quit goofing off? We're supposed to not draw attention to ourselves" Chase says, the bell rings and at the same moment Chase puts his hand over his ears and starts screaming, making everyone, including McKayla and Caitlin look at him as he starts rolling on the floor screaming.

McKayla and Caitlin look at each other with wide eyes, McKayla starts to smile "what are you smiling about?" Caitlin asks "I'm glad we're finally not the weirdest ones at this school!" McKayla smile and leaves, Caitlin looks at Chase on the floor and shrugs in agreement.

Later everyone is in gym class.

"I hate gym class" Leo says frustrated "Why?" Adam asks, Leo tries to bounce a ball and drops it on his own foot "Aaah! That's why" Leo says.

"So big deal...You can't play basketball. Chess club's where all the action's at" Chase chuckles proudly.

McKayla enters the gym class tying up her hair when Bree ends up catching the basketball on the other side of the court

"What do I do?" Bree asks desperately "Throw it..." Leo says.

"Hey Kavan!" McKayla waves to a boy on the court who looks at her "M.C!" Kavan waved back, suddenly Bree throws the ball in his face, McKayla's eyes widen "...To someone who's looking" Leo says to Bree "Uuuh" McKayla says with a pained face for her friend.

"Wow! You caught that with your face!" Bree says going to Kavan who looks at her confused, McKayla helps him up "Yeah he outdid himself today" McKayla says sarcastically, Bree laughs and leaves feeling embarrassed.

"Are you okay man?" McKayla asks Kavan "I'm a little dizzy" Kavan says with his hand on his nose "As expected, let's go to the infirmary" McKayla says taking him out of there.

After taking Kavan to the infirmary, McKayla changed into her cheerleading uniform so she could rehearse with the other girls.

"Attention, students! The pep rally is starting. Go, dingoes!" Perry says over the speakers

McKayla notices that Leo is being applauded, and signs a basketball for a girl for some reason she can't say why, she must have lost something while she was in the infirmary.

McKayla joins the others cheerleaders, as Kavan approaches Bree "Hey, I'm Kavan. Aren't you the girl that tried to make me eat a basketball in gym class?" Bree says "Oh! You remembered" Bree says excitedly.

"So, there's this party tonight. You wanna go?" Kavan ask "A party? I've never been to one. I mean, yes, I have. My whole life's a party! You're invited. Wanna dance?" Bree starts dancing randomly.

Leo approaches Chase "Why are Adam's eyes turning red?" Leo ask, Adam begins to stare at the school mascot who has been tormenting him for a while, his eyes lighting up red.

"Oh no, His heat vision!" Chase says "His what?" Leo asks worriedly "It's a glitch. Whenever he gets too upset his heat vision acts up!" Chase says.

McKayla and the other girls cheer as they throw one of the girls into the air "We're dingoes, we're here, there's nothing..." They cheer as Adam sets fire to the mascot with heat vision "watch out!" McKayla screams when they see the fire, and the other girls start running.

"I got her! I got her!" Bree super speed to catch the falling girl, that falls to the floor "Oh. Oops. Overshot it. But don't worry, I know a chiropractor in the Philippines" Bree smiles.

The Fire alarm rings.

McKayla starts running with the others when Chase gets into the crowd "People. People. Statistics show that if we don't panic, at least 70% of us will make it out alive" Chase says in a calm tone but it only makes everyone despair more, McKayla frowns at him in disbelief that he actually thought this would work.

McKayla sees the girl who was wearing the Dingo outfit and goes over to help her, when Tasha and Donald enter the court.

"Oh no! They killed Dooey Dingo!" Tasha says "So... how was school?! Get in the helicopter!" Donald shouts to Leo, Adam, Bree and Chase. McKayla presses her lips together feeling sorry for them because she knew they were in trouble.

That night, everyone at school was invited to a party at the Davenports' house.

McKayla never turned down a party, even though she didn't understand why they would throw a party if they were supposed to be grounded.

She arrives at the party and Caitlin waves in the middle of the people dancing, McKayla goes to her and sees Leo and his sibilings dancing in the middle of the room.

"I thought they were grounded" McKayla tells Caitlin "And since when is that the kind of thing that stops a party?" Caitlin says, McKayla shrugs.

"Do you understand what exactly happened at school today?" McKayla says "no, while you were at rehearsal I was in the computer lab finishing my algebra project" Caitlin says.

"But before the alarm went off I saw that nerdy guy over there at the computer lab apparently taking medical courses" Caitlin frowns "what a nerd" McKayla chuckles and looks towards Chase confused.

"I know, and Jane said the big guy ripped off her locker door" Caitlin says "I saw it, he really did it!" McKayla says.

Adam eats cake and Chase approaches him "Careful there, buddy. That piece of cake has approximately 47 grams of sugar. If you eat it, you'll be bouncing off the walls for hours" Chase says, McKayla approaches the table and grabs an appetizer.

"How do you know that?" Adam asks Chase "'Cause I just had 12 pieces!" Chase says excitedly, he takes a piece of cake and puts it on his face"Whoo-hoo!" Chase raises his arms and screams, McKayla purses her lips to keep from laughing.

Chase runs away and Adam does the same going after him, McKayla laughs "What are you laughing at?" Caitlin asks "Oh I love crazy people!" McKayla says with a light laugh.

Donald and Tasha arrive home "What the..."Donald says "Hey, you're back! How did these people get here?!" Leo says, everyone stop dancing "You are in big trouble, mister" Tasha says.

"Hey, everybody! Thanks for coming. Get out!!!" Donald screams and everyone starts to leave, McKayla walks away from the appetizer table grabbing a napkin, she passes it to Chase and Adam "Great party" McKayla says giving each a napkin and leaving.

Adam and Chase look at the napkins and then at each other, confused.
