Personality

To describe Wildcard's personality, it's to say that he is a bastard, or a wolf in a sheep's clothing, but in this case, it is more of, "demon wearing a human's flesh".

To others, he poses as a selfless and kind hero, appearing to risk his life to protect innocents and as for his allies. But this façade was something that Vanguardians see through even prior to the war.

In reality, Wildcard is simply a very violent, rude and corrupt hero displaying the traits of an egotistical, vain, fame hungry and manipulative narcissist, as he is willing to insult or even injure people in harm's way. He was very cruel to the point making fun of Henry and Rachel's dead families, Alice being a "whiny princess bitch" when clearly she was suffering from isolation-induced depression, and degrading Joshua for being a weakling and even making fun of him being sexually assaulted by his captors. But most of all, he tended to pick on Ethan due to his father being a supervillain and how Braveheart should've killed him as well. This side eventually led to Vanguardians having a bitter animosity toward the corrupt hero.

He is known for two notorious traits: His lust, and his jealousy. Despite having a powerful ability, he is shown to have an inferiority complex toward Braveheart because of him being the leader of the Paradigms and Light Coalition as a whole. It is implied that this is one of the reasons why he was so cruel toward Ethan and his team.

As for his lecherous side toward women, he let some of the female supervillains go free in exchange for having a sexual intercourse with him. He also had an eye on Naomi, Ethan's fiance who he desired deeply. In the end, he actually raped and murdered her when she resisted.

In the end, when he betrayed the Paradigms, he gleefully backstabbed Braveheart, having a weak spot enough for Dystopian to kill him. As a member of the Chaosbringers, he seemed to be loyal toward Dystopian, and even boasting to other villains about how he helped him kill Braveheart.

He also shows to be quite cowardly, as it's seen in his final moments where he became horrified after during his final battle with Ethan learning that he became the next host of the Null Force and he was about to kill him. At first he becomes desperate and bloodlust filled, shouting that he will slaughter Ethan and his team like cattle, but when Ethan manages to beat him, he cowardly begs Ethan to stop and hypocritically apologizing for the horrible things he has done while he tries to have Ethan spare his life.

Biography

Most of Wildcard's prior life as Derek Wilcox is unknown. At some point awakening his powers through unknown methods, he became a superhero and joined the Light Coalition, and saved the world on many occasions.

However, at some point he became a controversial figure within the Coalition, as he started to abuse his power and became corrupt until he was fired from the Coalition and he was accused of 300 charges of criminal behavior, even his former companions including Paradigms testified against him. Despite this, he was then released by the judge from all charges as a thanks for his former heroic actions and his evidence proven to have "forged by a villain".

Although the Paradigms had no choice to bring him back into the Coalition, Braveheart still felt suspicious and kept his eye out for him. During his time, he maintained an antagonistic role with the Vanguardians. Out of all Vanguardians, Wildcard degraded Ethan the most, calling him a "criminal's sperm". Braveheart ensured Ethan was away from Wildcard after that.

At some point, he had his eyes on Ethan's girlfriend and later fiancé, Naomi Murase. Out of his own spite and his twisted desire to see Ethan suffer, he broke into her bedroom where he broke her arm and her leg but was caught by Rachel and Alice who were visiting her and driven out. Although Wildcard was never caught due to being in disguise, and was presumed as a villain randomly attacking her, Rachel and Alice suspected it was Wildcard. After that, Joshua healed her and Ethan became overprotective toward her.

Later, he was approached by Dystopian who offered him a place at the table at Chaosbringers and a chance to rule the world, as he was planning a war. He accepted it.

Eventually, the chaos began when Wildcard targeted Naomi, where he sexually assaulted her before murdering her and her unborn child. Wildcard then fled, and became a member of the Chaosbringers.

Throughout the war, Wildcard participated in various war crimes and atrocities, such as using his powers to have children skin each other alive or mind controlling various women to have sex with him. Now that the law no longer held him back, Wildcard gleefully thrived in various luxuries of cruelty and such.

Eventually, near the end of the war, Ethan tracked him down. The Vanguardians managed to overpower him in a fight, before Ethan managed to defeat him. Not willing to back down, he injected and overdosed himself with Boost, managing to drastically enhance his powers. However, he soon found himself overwhelmed as the effects wore off and became weakened. This allowed Ethan to defeat him.

At his knees, Wildcard begged Ethan to spare him. Unfortunately, this does not work as Ethan brutally beats him to death.

Ethan kept pummeling him in his face until his face was caved in.

His face was broken so badly that all of his teeth were broken, his lower jaw has been completely crushed in. Not to mention his nose, his eyes, and his frontal lobe was completely crushed. And so, Wildcard was dead and his reign of terror came to an end.

While Wildcard was dead, he played a pivotal role in changing Vanguardians' ideals forever, in which shaping them to becoming later more brutal and ruthless toward certain villains.

Powers

Power Manifestation: Wildcard's signature power is to manifest virtually any types of superpowers. However, the powers he manifest are completely random so it is up to Wildcard to use them depending on situation. Later, after overdosing himself with Boost, he lost this weakness and was able to use multiple powers he wanted all at once at the same time. It is said that he has been manifesting up to more than 300 powers, though the powers he manifested include:

Flight

Laser Vision

Pyrokinesis

Hydrokinesis

Electrokinesis

Cryokinesis

Energy Projection

Teleportation

Magnetism Manipulation

(In case you guys are wondering, yes. I based him off Jimmy from Mouthwashing. Because fuck Jimmy.)
