*** Third Person ***

"What the Hell happened?". Hunter said storming to a sobbing Hannah and pale Matt.

"I d... don't know. She... She was crossing the road, then the car came out of nowhere. I... It happened so fast. There was so much blood". She cried as Matt hugged her.

Hunter clenched his fists, feeling his heartbeat speeding up. "Where is she?".

"She is in the operating room". Matt said before Hannah could respond.

Hunter was about to speak when the doctor walked up to them.

"Stella Simmons?". He said.

"Yes". Hannah quickly said. "Is she okay?".

"We... We are trying our best but she lost a lot of blood". He paused looking sorry. "I noticed she's pregnant. Is the father here?".

"That's me". Hunter said.

"I need to discuss some things with you before we go any further".

"Then speak for god's sake". Hunter snapped loosing his patience.
He looked composed on the outside but he was anything but calm in the inside. You could even say he was having a mental break-down.

"Well. We would be able to save. But due to the around of blood she lost and the impact. There's no garanty that she will be able to keep the baby". He explained looking sorry and Hannah started sobbing again.

*** 1 week later ***

I groaned lightly trying to open my heavy eyelids. I Heard bipping sounds around me.

"Ella?". I Heard a voice say softly. "Open your eyes for me, baby".

I tried again but I felt like I was tired to even open my eyes. I groaned lightly again due to my headache.

"Baby, please. Try again". He said again pushing a strand of hair behind my ear.

"Mommy?". A small voice called again. "Mommy wake up". He said, his voice Breaking at the end.
"Mommy". He insisted sniffing, which made me force my eyes open.

I quickly closed them again due to the bright light. I waited a moment before opening them again, to see Jason's face with watery eyes.

"Mommy". He sniffed again touching my cheek. "Mommy answer me".

I tried but I still felt too tired.

"She's Just tired Jason, but she's awake. Press on the red button to call someone". He said and Jason quickly did as he was told.

"Mommy, answer me". He said taking my hand in his. "Are you okay?".

I lightly squeezed his hand. "I'm fine baby". I managed to say.

Then the door opened and the doctor walked in smiling. "Glad to see you're finally awake, Stella". He smiled closing the door behind.
"How are you feeling?".

"Tired".

"That's understandable. Okay I will start with some tests, then I will explain your situation". He said and I nodded.

"Oh lord. Stella, honey". Deborah exclaimed entering the room. "Thank god, you're awake".
She said nearly in tears. "I was so worried".

"I'm fine". I smiled as she kissed my forehead.

"I'm glad to see you awake, sunshine". Bryan smiled standing beside Deborah.

"I'm glad to see you". I said.

"Stella". Hannah barged in crying. "Oh my god I was so scared. The car hit. I thought I've lost you". She sniffed hugging me.

"Hey. Sshh. I'm fine". I said softly hugging her. "Don't cry or I'll cry too". I said and she chuckled lightly pulling away and kissing my cheek.

I looked up and saw Matt smiling down at me. He came up to me and kissed my forehead.

"I missed you". He smiled pulling away.

"I missed you too".

After some Time and a lot of chatting, they all left, except Hunter and Jason of course.

"How are you feeling mommy?". Jason asked standing beside the bed.

"Good". I sais quietly. "How are you baby?".

"I'm fine. I Just wanted you to wake up". He said putting his small hand in mine.

I smiled weakly. "Come. I want a hug". I said and Hunter picked him up putting him beside me.

"Be careful not to hurt your mom". Hunter said and Jason nodded as I wrapped my arm around him.

"I love you mommy".

"I love you too sweetheart".

"Daddy was scaring everyone. Now it's funny". Jason chuckled and laughed lightly.

"Really?". I smiled.

"Yes". Jason laughed. "I made a drawing for you but I forgot it at daddy's house".

I furrowed my eyebrows. "Daddy's house?".

"Yes. I was living there when you were sleeping". He explained.

"That's good". I nodded. "Did you have fun?".

"No. You weren't there". He frowned.

I smiled again before looking up at Hunter, who was already staring at me.

"Jason. Can you go eat some ice cream with Laura? I need to talk to your mom". Hunter said picking him up.

"Okay". Jason smiled excitedly before leaning down to give me a kiss. "Later mommy". He said as Hunter walked out of the room with him.

Hunter walked back in not long after. He closed the door before sighing.
At first he just stood there looking at me.

"I was so scared". He said quietly walking closer to me. I looked down slightly.
"I thought I've lost you". He said softly stroking my cheek. "I thought I was going to go crazy". He sighed. "I love you so much".

"I'm fine". I said resting my hand over his.

"Don't ever do this to me again. I thought I was going to loose my mind". He sighed sitting on the bed and kissing my hand.

"I will tell you first next time I plan on getting hit by a car". I smiled a little.

He chuckled softly. "I don't appreciate the attitude".

"You Just don't need to worry".

He smiled and another thought came to my head and I quickly looked up at him.

"Is the baby okay?". I asked.

He looked at me for a moment before sighing and walking Closer and sat facing me.

"Look. The doctor said that if he was bigger, there was going to be a problem because then I would have had to choose between you two. But he was too small. They couldn't have possibly saved him. You were the priority". He explained slowly taking my hand in his.

"Oh my god". I whispered feeling my eyes watering. "Oh my god". I repeated and this time I couldn't stop myself. "This has to be a nightmare". I said, as a sob escaped my lips.

I felt strong arms around me and I cried into Hunter's chest. He hugged close whispering loving words to me.
We stayed for a moment as he kept telling me rassuring words.

"It wasn't really an accident, was it?". I cried.

"No". He said hardly. "But I promise that bastard will pay as soon as I get out of here". He said hardly.
"This is his last day of peace".
