I groaned leaning back against my Seat. God, I'm tired. I would rather be in my bed. I looked at my watch. I sighed before walking out of my office.
Today was the teachers parents meeting, so the teacher Can talk about the student's behaviour and progress.

"Gloria. I'm leaving. Take care is the Andersons when that come. And don't forget to confirme the shipment". I said taking my car Keys out of my purse.

"Yes Ma'am". She nodded.

"See You on Monday". I said walking out of the shop.

I got in my car and start the engine before driving off. Just then my phone started ringing.

"Hello". I answered putting it on speaker.

"How are You?". I Heard Hunter's voice ask on the other side of the line.

"I'm good. How are You?". I asked too knowing damn well where this conversation was going.

"Why didn't You Tell me You were going at Hannah's house the other day. I thought we were supposed to have dinner". He said coldly.

I rolled my eyes. "You were the one who wanted to have dinner. I never said yes".

"But You didn't say No". He said frustration clear in his voice.

"Well don't assume". I sighed testing his patience.

"It will get to the point where I'll have to kidnap you" he said seriously.

I sighed not answering.

"Where are you?". He asked again.

"None of your business". I calmly said.

He groaned. "Ella. You are not being really cooperative here. What the hell is wrong with you today?".

"Nothing is wrong. But where I am is really none of your business". I said.

"It is my business when you're my business". He snapped.

"Don't give me an attitude or I'll hang up".

"Where are you?". He sighed asking again.

"I'm going to Jason's school. There's a parent-teacher meeting".

"Okay. I want to take You two out for dinner". He said. "Tell me at the end of the meeting so I can pick You up".

"I don't know". I trailed.

"Stella". He snapped obviously annoyed. "I haven't seen You two since last week. Please stop being difficult".

"Fine". I sighed.

"Great". He sighed. "See You later". He said and I hung up without replying.

I got to Jason's school and parked the car before walking out. I put my phone in my purse before walking to the entrance.

"Do You want to repeat that". I Heard the familiar small voice of my son.

I frowned and followed it to see Jason grabbing another child's collar while other were just there watching. The kid was bigger than him and looked angry. What the Hell is happening?

"Say I'm scared of You again". He threatened. The kind stayed quiet.

"Jason". I gasped and he looked at me.

"That's the only person I'm scared of". He whispered to the kid before pushing him away and turning to face me.

"What are You doing?". I asked angrily as all the other kids started running away.

"He was trying to make people make fun of me. He said I was scared of him. I was just showing them". He explained.

"That's not a reason to fight him and threatened your classmates". I said hardly.

"He was threatening me too. Before You came". He claimed.

"That is still not a reason". I lectured. "I hope for You that your teacher have only good things to Tell me". I said seriously lowering myself to his level and fixing his shirt.

He crossed his arms over his chest giving an angry face.

"Don't give me that face before I give You a reason to be mad". I said.

He frowned looking at me.

"I'm sorry mommy".

I sighed. "We will talk about it later". I said taking his hand. "Come on". I said walking down the hallway and to his class.

"Don't believe everything she tells you". Jason whispers as we were walking inside the class.

"Of course". I rolled my eyes.

"Hello Mrs. Simmons. Great to see You again". The teacher smiled looking at us.

"Hi". I smiled back taking a seat.

Jason took a Seat beside me.

"So, as usual, Jason is doing good in class". She smiled looking at the papers then at me. "The only problem is his behaviour". She explained and I glanced at Jason who was glaring at his teacher.
"He is a hard worker and a good student but he is very impulsive and can easily lose his temper. He usually wants things to go his way, especially when it's a group work". She said seriously.

"Mommy". He whined. "Teacher always lie".

"Oh and Why would she lie?". I asked giving him his backpack.

"To have something to say to parents". He answered and I raised my eyebrows at him.

"Well as your parent, I can that she was right". I stated.

"How are You so sure?"

"I made you. So I know you enough". I sighed taking his hand.

Stupid Hunter ruined my kid. Why couldn't he take my personality? I raised him for God's sake.

Speaking of the devil. We walked out to see Hunter getting out of his car.

"YAY". Jason said happily running toward him . Hunter picked him up and hugged him.

"How are You?". Hunter smiled touching his hair.

"Good". He smiled. "I did really good at school".

"Really. That's good. I'm proud of you". Hunter smiled warmly before looking at me as I was a few feet away from him.

"Hi". He said quietly kissing my cheek softly. I closed my eyes and sighed.
"How did the meeting go?".

"Same old things. Impulsive, short tempered, demanding. Doesn't the description remind you of someone?". I asked narrowing my eyes at him.

"What did I do? Why is your mom mad?" He asked looking at Jason.

"Apparently your son wants to be a fighter. He was fighting a student when I walked in the school". I said.
"And if you smile, I will knock your teeth down". I threatened pointing my finger at him.

"I wasn't". He said trying to hide his smile. "What happened?". He asked Jason.

"He was trying to make fun of me in front of people and he said I was scared of him". Jason explained again.

"I already told You that's not a reason". I said.

"But-".

"No buts. I will take care of your case when we get home". I said sternly.
I looked at Hunter to see him smiling. I glared at him and walked to the passenger Seat. I heard him chuckle as he opened the door for Jason.

"Thanks for dinner daddy". Jason yelled running to his room.

"Oh not so fast, little boy". I said loudly. "We still have to talk about your punishment".

He suddenly slowed down sighing before continuing his way up the stairs.

I turned to look at Hunter while taking my shoes off. He was already staring at me.

"What?". I asked crossing my arms over my chest.

He shrugged still looking at me.
I raised my eyebrow at him. Just then I Heard a thunder.

"What the hell?". I whispered walking to the glass door. I pushed the curtains a little bit to see that it was raining. Hard.
When the Hell did this start?

I turned to see a smirking Hunter.

"You knew". I stated. I rolled my eyes when He didn't answer.

"You want me to leave".

"You are not going anywhere". I snapped. "It's not safe". I added walking to the stairs.

I walked to Jason room and slowly opened the door. I saw him putting his pyjamas pants on.

"Did You brush your teeth?". I asked seating on his bed.

He nodded and walked up to me giving me his shirt. I helped him the buttons and put him in bed before laying next to him.

"Mommy". His small voice called.

"Yes baby".

"When are You going to stop being mad at daddy?". He asked and my heart skipped a beat.

"I'm not mad at daddy". I answered.

"Then Why don't You marry him again". He said. "Are You going to stop being mad at him?". He asked again.

"When the time comes".

"Are You going to marry him then? And we will live with him?". He asked and I feel my tears building up.
"Carlos said You are not married anymore because of me. Is it true?". He asked looking at me. I could contain my tears when I saw his watery eyes.

"Who's Carlos?".

"The boy at school".

"The one You were fighting". I asked and he nodded.

I grabbed his chin to make him look at me.

"It is a lie. You have nothing to do with it. It was only our fault". I explained softly. "I love You so much. Daddy loves you. And nothing will change that. Nothing can really change your love for someone. My love for you".

"Then why don't You marry daddy again?". He asked again.

"It's more complicated than that".

"No big people want to make it complicated". He said, his voice cracking at the end.

I sighed wiping my tear. "Go to sleep baby". I said softly kissing his forehead. "I love you".

"I love you mommy".

"Your punishment tomorrow". I said and He groaned making me chuckle.

"Goodnight". I said walking to the door.

"Goodnight". He replied yawning.

I walked out and closed the door before leaning against it. I closed my eyes letting the tears silently fall.
If only it was this simple, Jason. If only it was. I wish it was.

I felt two strong arms wrapped themselves around and I was pulled into a hard chest. I couldn't help but wrap my arms around him as he pulled me closer burrying his face into the crook of my neck.
