Dr.Chatarjee calls Shekar

Shekar: Hello sir, how are you?

Dr.Chatarjee: Shekar I am fine. Yesterday I met Neetu with her husband. They are such a cute couple and the guy seems humble and less talkative quite opposite to our Neetu

Shekar :(laughs loudly) yes sir, but he shows things by his actions not by words.......

Dr.Chatarjee: I too felt so. What's the problem? Why Neetu doesn't even introduce her husband to anyone in the hospital..... Why?

Shekar: sir, actually they recently got married just two months ago and they are facing mother in law problems...........

(At the same time Radhika enters Shekar's house for the first time in 13 years as she has some urgent work with Meenu. Shekar doesn't notice her and continue to speak.....)

Dr.Chatarjee: Oh, They have problem with your wife Radhika.......

Shekar: Radhika is really stubborn sometimes she even gets angry on small issues and she drags issues a lot and that made us get separated...

(By hearing this words Radhika leaves Shekar house immediately and went to her car and cry saying "Shekar if you have issues you should have discussed with me instead of badmouthing me to someone on phone" and then leaves the place)

Shekar conversation (continues): but still she loves our daughters very much and never ever does anything that hurts them. Problem is from Laksh's side. Laksh's aunt who raised him like a mother, doesn't want to accept Neetu after knowing that she is our adopted daughter.

Dr.Chatarjee: I know about Neetu since you adopted her. How stupid her Mother in law is to reject a girl like Neetu just because she is adopted? Our Neetu may not have your family's blood running in her veins but she surely have the attitude of being best doctor which she the inherited from your family. She never loses hope until the patient is breathing. I must say she is gifted and who ever lose her will regret it throughout their lives including her parents who must have left her on highway!

Shekar: I know sir let's hope for the best. I think Laksh will solve the problem. I trust him with my daughter.

Dr.Chatarjee (smiles): Ok fine, even I think the same. He seems to be protective about Neetu and clearly adores her. Once Neetu has a good news, her mother in law will accept her.

Shekar (smiles): sir, that decision is in Neetu and Laksh's hand we can't force them but I will be very happy if they made that decision. Thank you for your concern about Neetu........ See you later sir.

Maya POV:

I rushed to airport early in the morning to receive Ravinder Sir, who came all the way from New York to Shimla on his charted flight. Somehow I felt I was intruding in others personal lives but I have to do this. Benerjee's are all like family for my in laws. Laksh's mom was like own sister to my Father in law and Ravinder sir was so kind to me all the time. When everyone was against mine and Anand's marriage he was on Anand side. So I felt I must repay him by reporting him about his Son's doings!!

Ravinder: Hai Maya how are you?

Me: I am fine sir...

Ravinder: Now break the ice Maya, why you requested me to come here...what's the matter?

Me: Sir...That...That Laksh is having an affair with a married woman.

Ravinder: What?

That's it....when I blabbered my last words he doesn't even wait for a second. He just took the car keys from the driver and ordered me to put the seatbelt when I sat next to him....I thought to offer him help in driving considering his age and Hair Pin curves and slopes of Shimla but I was really surprised with his driving.

Sir must have been a car racer at his teenage days. He just brought me to our office in exact 25 minutes where as In general it takes me an hour to come from airport to township...

Seeing furious eyes of Ravinder Sir, today definitely Laksh will be a dead meat...

Ravinder's POV:

If someone else tell me about Laksh having an affair I might have scold them for defaming my son but it is Maya, Anand's wife. I know she doesn't lie to me and so I just want to know the truth out from Laksh himself.

When I was driving, I was lost in my own train of thoughts. I was busy in thinking what had happened from the past two months in my family....The day Laksh was shot was one of the worst days in my life. Laksh was never into revenges but I am. Neelima raised both Rishi and Laksh in such a way they both hate violence. They always solve the entire problem only with brain not by manhandling. For them even to kill a sinner is a sin but for me it is revenge...that's what my father thought me!!

It's good that Laksh remembered the Car number of the goons, even in the deadly pressure and so it took Anand only few hours to catch the goons. We came to know that owner of big Pharmaceutical group is responsible for the attack on Laksh and Neetu. He ordered the goons to kill Neetu after obtaining the formula. But we were lucky that Laksh saved her on time and in return Neetu saved him by admitting him in hospital.

When everyone was busy in Laksh and Neetu's engagement preparations I was busy in tracing that Goon's boss whereabouts. He hid in Assam dense forest in fear of getting caught by us. He took help of some terrorist organisation. Bhagat(health minister) told Anand to kill him. Anand was ready to, but somehow I felt that Police should handle the case instead of Anand. A team of 10 best police officers went in search of them and the mission was successful. They killed both the head of terrorists and the owner of that medicines company who wants to obtain the formula and sell the medicines at a very high price. In the process we came to know that the owner of medical company was a part of organ trafficking racket. So I don't have guilt for being reason to his death.

I tried to keep everything secret from my family and happily took part of Laksh and Neetu's Engagement. But somehow my mom came to know about Laksh being shot which we all hide from her.

My mom is a strong woman but when she came to know that Sriraj Bro's child got shot she got massive heart attack on the day of Laksh and Neetu's engagement. She was immediately transferred to hospital by our servants in the palace. Laksh, Rishi and Neelima love her a lot. So I thought it better to hide it from them until she completely recovers. I was about ask Neetu for help considering she is cardiologist but Radhika and Shekar came and told about her birth truth. I felt that this is not the time to tell everyone about my mom's heart condition so I went to Rajasthan saying Newyork.

After her initial treatment in India I took her New York in rush. Now she is recovering very well but I still want her to take rest. For an average man the past few months of my life may be horrible, but not for me. My family raised me in such a way that I can tolerate any problem in life! I never felt weak in my life except on the day of my brother's and SIL's death. Neelima was pregnant at that time and Laksh he was only four years old. Entire Benerjee group is only dependent on me. So I understood I shouldn't become weak. From that day till today I have done everything to keep my family happy and safe.

We are sitting in Laksh's cabin waiting for him. But all my furious thinking about past was faded when Laksh casually entered his cabin with wide grin on his face. His smile reminds me of my elder brother but Sri Raj Bro used to smile all the time, he was a happy man where as Laksh smiles only when he is truly happy. He hugged me like a kid and I tightened the hug.

Seeing Laksh happy always makes me happy.

Laksh POV:

I entered my cabin and a bit surprised to see my uncle and Maya in my cabin.

Me (I hugged him): Hai Uncle! What a pleasant surprise (with excitement).

Uncle: Laksh! What is Maya saying? You are having affair with a married woman?

Me: What?

Maya: Don't act smart Laksh!! I have proofs.

Oh no...is she talking about me and Neetu? Of course I can have affair with my own wife!!

I immediately took my mobile phone out and pointed the wallpaper to Maya...

Me: Is she the lady I am having affair with?

Maya: Yes!!(Seeing Neetu's photo)

Now I turned the photo towards uncle and said yes uncle, I love her and I admit it!!

Uncle: (He is shocked and confused as I am showing Neetu's photo and Maya is saying I have an affair with a married woman) what's happening here????

Maya (showing some videos to uncle): sir, I have proof and see these videos... of Laksh and Neetu eating chocolate I mean kissing one another and then this one he is carrying her in her house!

Uncle (Laughs and furious at the same time): what is this Laksh?? Why are you eating same chocolate with her in public!! How many times I have to tell you to keep your personal life separate and don't attract media........ How can you do this in public!! Can't you keep your personal life in low profile like Sia and Ram!

Maya is confused by Ravinder uncle's reaction and doesn't understand why he is scolding him about being in public where as he should scold me about married Neetu......

Me: Uncle, trust me. I didn't know Maya was clicking our pictures........... We are just carried away by the moment....

I justified myself!!

Maya is more shocked by my replying so bluntly to his uncle

Me: Uncle, I want to talk to you personally about something.....

Maya (doubtfully): shall I leave the room......

Me (smirks): No Maya! Please stay here. Uncle, let's have lunch at nearby restaurant. And oh....Maya...... can you please sent those pictures and videos of mine and Neetu to me. They look so cute and adorable. And the video where we were eating chocolate, the side angle of Neetu in that video was so damn good. Please.......

We left from there and Maya was dumbfounded and still didn't understand anything... 

Maya's POV:

What's going on!

Ravinder's POV:

Laksh and Me at the restaurant:

Me (seriously): So Laksh, can you enlighten me now, what's going on? Why and from when is Neetu here with you?

Laksh: uncle, it's a long story but to say in short, she is with me here after our marriage.

Me: (shouts) what..... You married her? How can you do it without our blessings and I didn't expect this from Neetu!

Laksh: Uncle actually I told Neetu about the Marriage only after I succeed in taking her signature on marriage certificate.

Me: How can you do this to her? I thought you love her! How can you cheat on her by doing this! I think me and Neelima raised you better than that!

Laksh: Uncle, I am not the one who started the game. It's Aunt Neelima and Neetu. Neelima aunty requested Neetu.... sorry....sorry... a kind of forced Neetu to break up with me and Neetu had done it without even asking her why she had to do this..?

(Laksh gets a important call so he attends it)

"Oh god! I was busy to reach my mom on time so I just told Neelima to handle the situation on Laksh's Engagement night. I never in my worst nightmare thought Neelima will make such a big mess. I never had a problem on knowing Neetu is adopted. In fact I too want to adopt a girl but Laksh and Rishi are too mischievous from childhood days that Neelima felt it is impossible for her to handle another child adopted or own.

It's Neelima's stupidity but I can't blame her for that. She is from a poor background. When she married me and entered my elite society. People always thought she married me because of my status. So she might have thought the same will happen to Neetu being orphan when she marry Laksh and so request Neetu to avoid seeing her hurt in future.

Oh Neelima you should have consider asking me before doing this?

But anyhow "All's well that end's "that Laksh and Neetu are married now. May be a great grandchild will help my mom to heal quicker.

After Laksh's call ended...

Me (willingly): OK, Laksh now I understood why she done it.... she had a reason to do so........let me tell you

Laksh: No uncle, any reason that separates me from Neetu I don't want to hear it.

Me (with smile): Laksh it's your life, you and Neetu are matured enough to take your own decision. I respect you both, so come back home now ....with Neetu.

Laksh: uncle...........

Me (confidently): If your aunty is against this I know how to convince her. I clearly know how to handle my wife.

Laksh: uncle I don't want either Neetu or Neelima aunty to suffer. I want Neetu herself to ask Neelima aunty why she wants us to break up and Neelima aunty should happily accept Neetu as her daughter in law.......... not by your force

Me (Very happy and proud of Laksh's attitude and love towards family): Good, Laksh I like the decision you made. Give Neetu some more time to think and come back to home along with her, once the project completes. If you people have good news I know Neelima will definitely change her mind and happily and immediately accepts Neetu.

Laksh (confused): GOOD NEWS!! I didn't get it ....... what you're saying?

Me: (with smile): Laksh, I and your aunt are old enough to become Grandparents!

Laksh (whining): What? CHILDREN! Uncle, many of my friends didn't even get married, they are still dating........... How can you expect children from us ...... me and Neetu didn't even plan it....

Me (confidently): Even Me and Neelima didn't plan being parents but one day your parents accidental death made us parents of 3 year old baby(referring to Laksh).

Laksh: But still uncle, I want Neelima aunty to accept Neetu out of the natural love she has for her, not for Neetu being pregnant!

Me (happily): ok Laksh, have you told your grandma about your marriage?

Laksh: no, when I tried to reach her I came to know that she is with you in New York. What happened? Why is she with you there?

Me: Let's say it is a big story Laksh I will tell you when time comes. For now just think that she is bored to live in Rajasthan from years so she wants a climate change. I promised her a world trip so I took her to New York along with me.

Laksh: okay. When the time comes I will tell her but few people know about my marriage.

Me: Who else?

Laksh: Shekar uncle, Meenu, Rishi, Dr.Chatarjee, Mr.Dhawan, Sia, Ram, Bhoomi, Jay, Ruby and JC knows the truth as well.

Me (sighs): ok, then fine. When the time comes, I will not be only one who will be got scolded by Neelima.......... I am pretty sure that Shekar will accompany me by facing Radhika!

After a week:

Maya's POV:

After the lunch with Laksh...Ravinder uncle came back and happily told me Neetu is Laksh's wife. I was a bit surprised at the beginning but Ravinder uncle told me what made Laksh to take this decision.

I tried to apologize Laksh for my stupid Investigation but he waved off my apology and in return he thanked me for telling everything to Ravinder Sir. I apologized Ravinder sir but he also waved off saying I am family and according to him, Anand is like his eldest son and what I have done is my responsibility.

I was with heavy heart so I went to Neetu to apologize her for misunderstanding and told her that Laksh told me about their marriage but I skipped Ravinder Sir's part because Laksh wants me too...

Even Neetu waved off my apology in return she thanked for those photos and videos which I shared with her. She told that she will treasure them for life long.

I must admit....

Laksh about whom everyone thinks as a heartless Billionaire really surprised me. He didn't want to hurt his Aunt and so he was waiting for her to realize Neetu is perfect for him. Neelima aunty must have done many sacred things in her previous life to have a son like a Laksh.

And Anand was making fun of me from past one week for my stupid Investigation.

 Me, Anand and Bunny were invited for dinner to Laksh's house. Neetu is so excited about our visit. We chatted, teased, quarreled, played.... what not. we spent a good time. Laksh and Neetu are one of those couples that doesn't need words to communicate. They understand each other so well that seeing them I slapped Anand on his shoulder and asked him to watch and learn from Laksh how to treat wife. 

Before leaving...... I gave a personalized gift to Neetu which my mother in law gave to me once.

LAKSH POV:

"What...Rishi and Meenu are coming here...But why? "

   OH GOD................. I don't know what storm these two monkeys will bring into our life now.

I know this chapter is little dramatic .......... But from next chapter I'll try to get those fun moments back.
