It had always been manik and it would always be him no matter how many charming, loyal , loving , caring etc etc qualified men walk passed , no matter even if they would fill her path with roses or her life with their outmost love , it would always been Manik and that was the depth of her love.

She believed his every word , she believed him then too and now she knew why he left her all of a sudden , after aliya' cousin died suddenly he started behaving weird , the messages, the phones , late coming everything made sense now.. 

He was never hers ! He was Aleesha's Manik and that realization broke her more.. Everything she held onto for 3 years came crashing down , her heart which was just surviving on manik's love meant nothing now .

The dingy cell and darkness seeping into the jail felt comfortable, she couldn't see anyone as a matter of fact which she gave her peace , she always wanted the peace which this darkness was giving , her heavy heart was numb and by looking at her face none could decipher the storm in her heart.

After hours of numbness she heard the constable waking her up . She was in a position where her hair hide her face but when she looked up , horror could be seen on both the faces while manik showed the emotions , the seconds of emotions on his face was now nothing but a facade to her. Now even if God tells her that manik loves her more than his life or manik is the only one for her she would never believe God . 

She stood and walked away not knowing where she was going , the direction , the destination was all blank as if understanding every word she felt like a dagger stabbing her heart .

She didn't even blink an eye while it was raining cats and dogs , the weather seemed to go more down while she was walking with tears cascading her eyes , yet she didn't feel the need to stop.. her eyes were swollen and puffy , her body shivering with all the chilly winds gushing but she didn't seem to mind and on cue when thunderstorm echoed it was mixed with her loud yell , she with a bang fell on the ground and curled herself in a fetus position crying harder without even realizing where she was , she cried and cried and cried , as if there was no tomorrow. 

Why ayyappa why? Why do I have to end up like this? From the beginning you devoid me of all the people,  first amma appa and now manik? Was I so bad that you decided to punish me like this? Am I too hard to love? Am I so unworthy of every love and happiness that whoever I get in my life leaves me just like how sharda ma did , Then dadu and then cabir and all and now manik too? Why don't you take me with you also? I don't have any purpose left.. I'm cursed I got it but even someone like me deserves na .. 

Please God give me some love , I need it , I beg you God please.. please aiyappa I beg you.. I need it.. I cannot live like this.. I will die, I will die please don't hurt me more ayyappa , don't hurt me more please.. it feels like a burden to even breathe. It feels like a burden to even exist please take me with you.. I don't want to live please please please ayyappa.. 

After hours of being under rain and continuously crying and yelling, Nandini found herself slipping into darkness as if God had actually listened to her .

I thought you forgot the deal Manik.

Couldn't you for once actually do things correctly.. I denied you going there.. didn't I ? Wasn't it necessary for you to tell me if you went there.. what would have happened if by chance dad had got to know that you were in lock up or better you were with your ex wife.. Years back whatever happened we gave you a chance to go back manik it was you who wanted to stay and be with us now what you did could simply have ended all of us and our Years of hard work and even more horrendous thing was breaking your wife's heart.. that little girl .. do you even realize that just because of your selfishness or selflessness whatever u choose yourself you broke that angel. That angel who stood unwithered for so many years for just a man , for you is now broken beyond repair.. would you be able to heal her manik? Is she even yours now? Why are silent dammit? 

Aleesha yelled on top of her voice at their Mansion..  After getting manik out of jail she directly came towards the secret mansion because she was once what nandini is now.. she has now been healed but what she saw in nandini's eyes was as dangerous as dead and she was terrified assuming the outcomes of maniks selfishness or selflessness...

The Angel lost her entire existence which was simply manik..

I'm not bound to answer you Aleesha and yes don't tell me what to do or not I don't need you telling me.. it ain't your business...  years back whatever happened was unfortunate but the truth is this for the whole world and our work would be completed fast even nandini believes that I'm in love with you and you know it's true once the task is over your dad would want me to marry you so why not break it out to her now then afterwards..  and talking about being broken then I cannot do anything It was her fate,  my fate , our fate was written unfinished..  the angel's fairytale was meant to be unfinished.. and and might be she..she..might..find someone..someone else and and fall .. for .. 

Manik said stuttering while Aleesha chuckled and patted his back

You cannot even complete the sentence and here you want to move on with me.. I know my dad manik.. whatever happened that day it was not out of sympathy it was because of love and respect my dad had for dadu of yours.. even if he gets the slightest idea of nandini na manik believe me he will make hell and heaven crumble to get her to you.. he loves you that much.. Tell me..

Saying Aleesha was about to go but she heard her dad's loud yell while both of them ran towards the gate and what they saw made them stand rooted to their places..

Aleesha , Manik called the doctor immediately. I don't know this girl but I found her lying on the ground in heavy rain and her heartbeat is slowly sinking.. she might die, call the doc- before Aleesha's dad could say manik immediately ran and took nandini to his room and started rubbing her hands while his eyes became red , he cannot cry , but his angel was dying because of him and his selfishness..

Soon the doctor came while manik sat on the stairs and remembered the conversation with nandini 

Aleesha was someone he met during his childhood whose father was his father's friend while dadu took him as his other son while manik had crush on aleesha which was childhood crush but as they grew up and aleesha and Mr. Radhir Singh Randhawa had to shift to Belgium for business they grew apart.. they weren't best friends but yes they knew each other too well and while growing up manik knew as a matter of fact aleesha wasn't the one he would fell in love with neither aleesha anytime took manik in that angel but it was just her father..

Randhir was already suffering from the loss of his younger daughter who was just a day old and his wife who died after giving birth to her but his younger daughter was kidnapped by a wardboy who was never found again.. Manik has seen Ishani Aleesha's mother loving the baby in her womb and aleesha equally which he craved whole life but never was able to have the guts to face her.. he always used to be away from ishani but while she used to sleep he would sneakily enter the room and talk with the baby .. he was very fond of the baby but when he found she was kidnapped and wasn't found he lost a part of himself which was never found back.. 

And now when Randhawa's gave so much support to dadu and him and after that too saved his life , he felt responsible towards them.. he felt it was his part to safeguard them. 

He had to lie to Nandini to save her but he never knew she was so aloof and broken that there was no one for her..  atleast he expected his friends to support her and be with her in his absence but they failed him.. He failed his nandini ..

These past years were hell for him and only he knew how much he died every night just to be close to her..

His reverie was broken by the doctor. 

Mr. Malhotra she is infected from pneumonia and that too severely.. her lungs are filled with water while infection is Spreading into her body and also due to less blood there are low chance of survival but we'll try our best but for that we need blood 

O+ blood is needed urgently. 

Hearing Doctor manik was tensed because he had O- which cannot be donated while Randhir immediately agreed as he had the same blood .

After some time the doctor came out and announced shocking news which was enough to shock everyone.
