Richard McCarthy's POV:

'Oh yea he's right you're obviously not her boyfriend anymore' my 'mind' said.

'What? I'm her boyfriend. What the hell are you talking? You're my 'mind' and you're siding with him?' I asked my 'mind'. My 'mind' dearest is not functioning properly. No think about it why am I not Sapph's boyfriend? my'mind's' gone crazy.

'Richie boy/man/Homo sapien/whatever you are, you are not her boyfriend anymore now that you're going to be her husband and make love and have kids. Well you can make love even before marrying her, I mean you'd obviously want to' my 'mind' said. Yea let's put aside the love making part and think about the husband part. I am happy that he takes me for Sapph's husband. I kept smiling as my 'mind's' voice repeated husband over and over again. Hehehehe I like it.

"Oh yes sir, I am not her boyfriend anymore and thank you for accepting me as her husband" I said proudly looking at Sapph while she just face palmed and everyone else in the room looked at me as if I've grown two heads, six ears, three noses and four mouths.

'She looks like a goddess while face palming. Awwww what would I not do to make her face palm again and again' my 'mind' said and I agreed with it.

"Dude I don't think he means it in that way" Detective whispered in my ear and forced a smile looking at them.

"Then what do you think he means. You don't know anything he's my father in law now and I very much think of me as Sapph's husband" I whispered to detective.

"Well, if you've finished eating each-others ears, no, I don't think you're her husband either. Please go back from where you came and don't forget to clean your face" My father-in-law said and I just looked at him shocked.

"But---" I started to say something but got interrupted by Sapph.

"Richie I think you have to go back and rest. I'll talk to you later" Sapph said eyeing me to go out. I was about to say no but then, the detective pulled away the stretcher out of the room and I just kept shouting.

"Yea, he'll rest for now" Saying that the detective took me back to my room.

"Det, I wanted to ask what his problem was. Why did you take me away?" I questioned Detective.

"Richard I think Sapph's going to convince her dad so, don't worry and sleep and please let me sleep" Detective said and he went back to sleep and I could not get any sleep because I was worried that Sapph would not be able convince her dad I'll forever be alone waiting for her.

'I don't think you need to worry about that. My sweetheart will definitely change her dad's opinion on you' my 'mind' said.

'What if she can't do that? I just want her in my life forever' I said to my 'mind' and my 'mind' didn't answer anything.

The next morning................................................

I barely slept through the night because my detective friend here was snoring. Ahhhhh how much I wanted to sleep and forget what to do with my father-in-law's issue but, I wasn't allowed to.

"Det, you snored the whole night and it disturbed my sleep" I said to him in a serious tone and detective was eating fruits which were mine.

"Oh" Detective said. Oh? That's your response for spoiling someone's sleep? I have to teach him a lesson.

"Don't you think you're being rude right now? I mean you didn't allow me to sleep a wink and when I'm asking you the reason why you behaved like that you're like oh.... Not even 'I'm sorry I'll take the complete responsibility'" I questioned him looking at him seriously.

"Well you should understand the situation we've been through yesterday and you're a man so what I don't think losing it one night would make any difference" Detective said.

"But I was sensitive and you do know that" I said arguing and looked towards the door because I felt someone moving and I saw Rick, Xander, Chris and Lily standing there looking at both of us. Why are then even looking at us like that? Is this their first time listening to two men having an actual conversation?

'I feel your conversation with Det sounded a bit like you know like that' my 'mind' said.

'Like what?' I questioned my 'mind'.

'You know Richie like an intimate one' my 'mind' said in a low erotic voice.

'What's so intimate about our conversation' I questioned my 'mind' not understanding.

'Hufffff I don't know why I should be explaining this but, you know the 'didn't let me sleep a wink', 'I'm sorry I'll take complete responsibility', 'Situation yesterday' and more than everything your 'I was sensitive yesterday you do know that' might have made them think so' my 'mind' said and I literally recalled my conversation with Detective. Owwwwww did we sound like that?

"Richard maybe we will come some other time since you're discussing few matters that made you sensitive and he should be taking responsibility for that" Rick said laughing and everyone else laughed along with him.

"Please people, we were just talking about him snoring" I said pointing detective.

"And who's this?" Xander asked coming inside. I was about speak but, detective started using his mouth. Ahhh the things I want to do to his mouth.

'Can you please listen to yourself speaking? What do you want to do to his mouth? Oh my holy imaginary ears' my 'mind' said closing its imaginary ears.

'Oh hooiiiii don't misinterpret my thoughts. I was saying that I wanted to answer but he spoke interrupting me. So, I was angry and wanted say that I wanted to slap him on his mouth but it came out wrong. And please only you would take it in a wrong way and I don't think that sounded the way you interpreted' I said to my 'mind'. Ahhhhh 'minds' these days I tell you.

"Hi I'm Noah Moreau, the detective" Detective said and now that I think about it I never asked for his name.

"Det you never told me your name" I questioned him.

"You never asked for it and I didn't want to share it because you'd obviously name me something else like how Mel became Del so, I didn't want to be called something else and please continue calling me Detective" Detective said and everyone else started laughing.

"Ok people now that you are here take me to Sapph" I said and looked at them.

"Maybe you should give proper attention to your a**. It needs rest and so do you" Lily said looking at my precious a** laughing.

"Why the hell are you laughing Lily" I asked her in a serious tone while she didn't answer and just kept laughing. For nextfive days I just rested on the bed thinking what to do with Sapph's dad. Ahhh I miss her so much. I wasn't allowed to move out of my bed for five days so, I was unable to see Sapph. Not anymore today I'm getting discharged. So, my first stop would be Sapph's room. I made Det finish up the formalities and asked him to meet me outside the hospital. Sapphhh I'm coming..........................

I went into Sapph's room only to see it empty but I've heard the water running in the washroom and sneaked into it. Ahhhh I love Sapph in washroom.

'Please leave my sweetheart away from your washroom poop business' my 'mind' shouted.

'Please shut up' I told respectfully to my 'mind'. I saw Sapph with her back towards me and just went and back hugged her. Ahhh how much I miss her.

"I missed you baby" I said and I kept my face into her hair. She's sooo soft.

"Ah..." Sapph started talking but I didn't let her talk. I wanted to talk to her properly and tell how much I missed her.

"Baby, please don't talk. Let me first tell you how much I missed you and that day I forgot to tell you that you looked ravishing in hospital gown. Why did you change your clothes? Please put on the hospital gown" I said now wanting to just kiss her badly.

"Baby, when are you going to be discharged? I want to have you for myself. I miss you so much that my organs stopped working. I'm unable to breathe without seeing you. Once you're discharged I'm going to kiss the hell out of you" I said now just taking in her scent.

"By the way baby, you smell weird today, hehehe" I said laughing into her hair.

"Pl..." Sapph started but I put my hand on her mouth not wanting her to talk.

"No baby, don't talk. Even if you smell weird I still love you" I said laughing.

"What if she looks weird?" Sapph questioned in a manly and I was in my own world.

"I'd still love you" I said without thinking and enjoying my time with Sapph.

"What if she's a completely different person?" Sapph questioned in a manly voice again.

"Ahhhh so many questions baby, I'd still love you and by the way you sound sooooo sexy speaking in that voice" I said laughing.

"What if it's someone's wife" Sapph questioned. Wait a minute I secured Sapph's mouth in my hand then how come she's talking? I turned and looked back dragging Sapph with me and I saw Sapph, her Dad, Alvin standing.

"Hehe Sapph are you a magician how are you in my arms and at the same time standing in front of me?" I laughed and looked at Sapph in my arms.

"Because you're holding my wife" Sapph's dad said while I looked shocked at Sapp's mom who was in my arms.
