Chapter 33

Sapphire Miller's POV:

"What? Sister?" Richard questioned.

"Yea" I answered.

"How? When?" Richard questioned and I just gave him a weird look.

"I mean what exactly happened? Why the hell would your sister kidnap your adoptive parents?" Richie questioned and I knew I had to tell him what had happened. I was about to tell him but I got a call from Mel. Richard saw that and he picked up the call and put it on speaker.

"Hello Mel" I answered the call.

"Hi Sapph or should I call you Elle? Whatever so now I am going to kill these both. Actually, I think your so-called dad is almost dead so I need not waste my energy trying to kill a person who's about to die. Coming to your mom, I'll give you an offer what say?" Mel asked and the room went dead serious. I have to save them. There are going through all of this sh** because of me.

"Mel, please don't do anymore wrong than you already have" I shouted into the phone.

"Calm down, will you? You can save them but you have to come here and meet me" Mel said. How can she be so calm after doing so much? How can a person think of killing someone?

"Where should I come?" I asked her without hesitating.

"Our home" Mel said.

"Ok I'm coming" I said to Mel.

"Wait sister.... Come alone. You know the rules right? If you involve someone else you will see their dead bodies" Mel said. She's gone crazy she's doing wrong in many ways. What will happen to my parents (biological) once they know Mel grew up to be such a kind of person?

"Ok please don't do anything rash. I'm coming alone" I said and she cut the call.

"You're not going alone and if you think I'm letting you go alone then you're crazy" Richard said and I knew he was serious.

"I have to go alone. I can't take the risk of making it more dangerous for them" I said.

"No, you're not going alone Sapph" this time it was Al.

"Al, our parents are in danger because of me and you're thinking about me now? I don't want them to face anymore because of me. I'll get them safe don't worry" I said with finality.

"Sapph do you think mon and dad would want to put yourself in danger for some crazy person?" Al questioned.

"No, they are so kind that they would never want me to go there though they are in danger because of me. But Al you people took me in when I was not myself and didn't know who I was and loved me. You people loved me so much that you all adopted me. I am very sorry that I caused such a havoc in your lives. I'll set it right by doing the right thing" I said and started going out with the car keys.

"You were never an outsider Sapph. You're my sister I can't send you alone there. She's kidnapped our parents don't know what she'd do to you" Al argued.

"Al she's just out of her mind and I know that she'd not harm me. I assure you that I'll get them safe and sound back to home" I said.

"But" Al and Richard started at the same time and I cut them not allowing them to finish what they were about to say.

"If you both still want to argue about this, I'll not meet you both again" I said. Before getting into the car, I hugged and kissed Richard.

"Baby can I at least drop you wherever you're going?" Richard asked with a little hope. I want to take him everywhere I go but, I can't do that not now.

"No and please don't follow me. I swear on holy god that if you both follow me, I'll not see your faces again" I said and started going where Mel asked me to come.

Richard McCarthy's POV:

"Let's go" I said to Al and called my secretary who was hiding with her car outside Miller's mansion.

"Where?" Al questioned confused.

"Well I'm not letting her go near Del or Cel or whoever it is" I said to Al.

"So, we are following her?" Al questioned.

"Duh...." I said.

"Richard, she said that she's not going to see our faces ever if we follow her" Al reasoned.

"I'm planning to get a plastic surgery and get some modifications to my face after this whole damn sh**. Then she need not see this exact same face" I said to Al. I'm never sending my girl there alone. God knows the craziness that Del women possess.

'I appreciate you taking a step and going there without me pestering you to go' my 'mind' said.

'I would go. That's princess we are talking about' I said to my 'mind'.

'Can you think once more about the modifications you want to get done to your face?' my 'mind' asked and I didn't answer it back.

"If we are following her, she might doubt us" Al said.

"Let's think about it once we get caught and we are following her in my secretary's car so that she'd not know that we are following her" I said and we started following Sapph. We drove fast until we were able to see her car and then we maintained a suitable amount of distance so that we'd not get caught.

"Now tell me do you know what exactly is the deal with this Del and why does she hate princess so much?" I questioned Al.

"Not Del it's Mel" Al said tensed looking outside at Sapph's car.

"Al don't worry we are going to save your parents and Sapph" I told looking at him. He's damn worried and even I am worried that I might lose control and just call Sapph and stop her.

"Now tell me about this Del" I asked him.

"Sapph's biological mother was informed by doctors that she can't give birth to a child because of some fertility problems. They've always wanted kids so they adopted Mel when she was 8 years old. They loved Mel like their own and loved her so much. Four years after adopting Mel, Mrs Cooper got pregnant with Elle that is our Sapph" Al said and was continuing to say the story.

"Ok everything is good right? What the hell is Del's problem now?" I questioned.

"Will you let me finish? And it is Mel not Del. Anyways so Coppers always loved both of them equally and gave them equal importance. But from what Sapph's told me I found Mel very self-centered and jealous of the love their parents showered on Sapph. Mel always used to cause trouble for Sapph and made their parents angry at Sapph. Many years passed with Mel being the same and later Elle got in a car accident and her parents were informed that she was dead but she somehow survived forgot her past and became our Sapph" Al finished. He told me the whole story but something is lacking there's something that we still need to know. Del is just jealous of her sister now after Sapph becoming what she is, Del tried to kidnap Millers? Hell, I'm not going to believe it.

"Al after Sapph told you this have you ever thought that there's something missing? I mean think about it just because of jealousy so much happening. And why the hell did Sapph maintain distance from her biological parents after regaining her memories? Something is fishy" I questioned Al because only a crazy person would believe that jealousy.

"I do know Richard that's why I contacted a detective and asked him to get the complete information. He might call us anytime now" Al said.

"When did Sapph tell you about this?" I asked Al.

"I've caught Sapph silently crying the very day when Coopers came to my house claiming Sapph to be their daughter. So, that day I asked her. She told me that she remembers her past but only revealed this story to me before our trip to Paris because I pestered her a lot. I've asked my detective to investigate once Mel texted me that she kidnapped my parents" Al answered.

"Well call your detective and ask him what the hell is wrong with Del" I asked Al and he called the detective.

"Hello Mr. Miller. I was about to call you" Detective spoke.

"Tell us what the hell is going on with Del" I shouted. I was getting very anxious because there's something much more than what Sapph told Al.

"Del? Who's Del. I thought Mr. Miller you asked me to find out about Mel Cooper" Detective said.

"Yea I want the information about Mel Cooper" Al said glaring at me for not remembering her name.

"Mel Cooper, adoptive daughter of Stephen and Amanda Cooper and sister of Elle Cooper. She has been adopted at the age of 8 years and has since stayed with Coopers. She's set Elle Coopers car on fire right after Elle Cooper hit the car to a tree" Detective said and Al and I were stunned. What? Del tried to murder Sapph?

"Mr. Miller there's something else you need to know. She's...." Detective started but Al cut the call because we reached our destination. I need answers as to what exactly happened and the only person who can answer me right now is Sapph.
