Chapter 22

Sapphire Miller's POV:

I rushed back home and there was my brother sitting with his hands over his face. I may not be able to see his expression but I am sure that he's very worried.

"Al I'm home" I said trying to get him back to this world.

"Thank god princess you're here, do you know these people?" Alvin readily asked pointing at a couple and a girl about my age sitting in the living room. I was about to answer him but the girl came running towards us and hugged me.

"Thank god you are ok Elle. Thank god Thank god" the girl hugged me tight and started weeping very badly. I released myself out of her grip and kept a good distance between us. As soon as I was out of the girl's grip, the lady hugged me and started telling how much she missed me. I couldn't get out of embrace so I looked at Al signaling him with my eyes to help me and so now Al helped me out of this situation.

"Excuse me ma'am but you should release her" saying that he released the lady's arms off my body and pushed me behind me.

"You are not understanding, she's my daughter. Elle everyone kept saying that you died but, I never believed them because I know you can never leave me. Adrian see she's here, she's alive, our elle" the lady said. Alvin was looking at me with a helpless expression. I am quite sure he'll blast at these people if they overdo it.

"Come elle let's go home. Let's go back" saying this the lady started pulling my hand and started dragging me.

"WILL YOU PEOPLE STOP" Alvin shouted. Listening to him shout the lady released my hand and ran back to where Alvin was standing.

"Princess do you know these people?" Al questioned.

"no, I don't" I answered grabbing him for my dear life.

"Are all your questions answered? She doesn't know you people so leave before I call the security" Alvin said in a venomous voice. Truth to be told I have never seen him this angry I am quite sure if these people try anything else, he will personally put them behind bars.

"she's my sister she'll come with us" the girl said and this only made Alvin more furious.

"leave my house right now or else you'll face the consequences, LEAVEEE" Alvin shouted. I just pulled him back wanting him to calm down.

"please you people leave please" I requested those people.

"why are you requesting them to leave princess? Wait I'll call the security" Alvin said and called the security.

"we'll not leave without my sister do whatever you want to do" the girl shouted. Girl you did a mistake you should've left silently when he asked you'll to.

"What did you just say? What will you do without leaving? Drag her away from here? Try touching her you'll see what will happen" Alvin shouted. Oh my god this is going nowhere. I was about talk but the security came in.

"drag these people away from here and let me ask you something why the hell did you allow these people inside? Next time remember these faces if they are seen anywhere near our mansion, I'll fire you'll" Alvin shouted and the security literally dragged them away. Hufffff what's going to happen now. I just sat in the living room and started thinking about the whole situation.

"Princess are you ok?" Al asked me giving me a glass of juice.

"yea I...I'm ok" I answered.

"don't think much princess you'll not see their faces again in your life. I'll take care of it" Alvin said patting my head and I just nodded.

"prepare to go back to Canada, Princess" Alvin said and I chocked on my own saliva.

"what?" I asked shocked.

"yes princess, let's go back to Canada. I will talk to mom and dad about this and I think once they listen to what has happened, they'll want you to go back to Canada" Alvin said. I don't want to go back to Canada. Honestly speaking I like it here no no I love it here. I have to convince Alvin and make him change his decision.

"Alvin I want to stay here please I like it here and think about the project I'm handling. I can't work on it if I go back" I reasoned out to Al.

"no princess, you should go back and if you're concerned about the project, there's nothing to worry someone else can handle it and we can always find something new for you to do" Alvin answered.

"Please Alvin I want to stay here. Please" I begged him with the best puppy dog eyes I can give.

"Don't plead me princess. I want you to stay safe" Alvin said with finality in his voice.

"please Alvin if they try doing anything else, I'll go back to Canada. Please Alvin Please Please" I pleaded him with my life.

"Princess you're putting me in a difficult situation here. If mom knows about this she'd want you home" Alvin said.

"I'll manage mom and dad. You please don't give them this idea of going back to Canada" I said to Alvin.

"Haha ok but if we those people again you're going back to Canada" Alvin said and I nodded. Ufff atleast for now he'll not think about sending me back.

Next morning........

RING RING RINGGGGG...........

"Hello" I answered my phone still sleepy.

"princess.. How are you?" ummm... who's this calling me early in the morning.

"He...Hello?" I answered again.

"Princess Alvin told me what happened" Ohh it's dad.

"nothing to worry papa I'm fine" I answered him.

"prepare to come back princess" Dad said and I jolted up from sleep.

"no papa I'm fine. I really am fine and I want to stay here" I said to dad.

"your mom is worried princess. She wants you home" dad said and I understood from his voice that he's damn worried about me.

"papa please ask mama not to worry. I have Alvin with me and he'll take care of me so please papa" I tried convincing dad.

" ok but please take care princess" Dad said and I said ok and cut the call. I started thinking about the whole situation again and started worrying and finally was late for my work.

"Ms.Miller I think you didn't take me seriously. You're late and where's the work which was due yesterday night?" Mr Fox questioned me. I am done today he's going to drink my blood and eat my neurons. What kind of idiot am I, how can I forget. Sapph you're stupid and have some serious memory problems. He gave you permission to go home and asked you to submit it by last night. Think some reason to tell him sapph, think.

"Mr Fox actually..." I started but was stopped by someone entering Mr Fox's cabin. They both talked about some meeting and Mr Fox left saying that he wants me to finish it and send it to him as soon as I can. Now I have to finish up this work and stop thinking about unnecessary things.

Richard McCarthy's POV:

"Alvin how can your security allow those people into your house?" I asked Alvin.

"Don't know man. Princess seemed so scared when they were dragging her with them" Alvin said.

"obviously she'd scared. How's she doing now?" I asked Alvin worried.

"she said that she's fine but I don't believe her" Alvin said.

"I'll have to increase the security for her" I said.

"Do that and instruct the security at your office not to allow anyone to meet her" Alvin said I answered him an ok and cut the call. Who are these people pestering princess out of the blue?

'why are you thinking so hard Richie, start investigating about it' my 'mind' said.

'yes I think I should do that and whoever Is trying to pester sapph, I'll not leave them alone' I answered my 'mind'.

'do that' my 'mind' said and I think this is the first time in history my 'mind' and I agreed on something.
