Chapter 13

Richard McCarthy's POV:

WHAT? WHY IS SAPPH SUDDENLY MOVING TO CANADA? I HAVE TO DO SOMETHING. I HAVE TO DO SOMETHING TO GET HER BACK WITH ME.

"what happened Richard? Why are you so stressed?" grace questioned.

"sapph is moving to Canada grace" I answered without any emotion.

"oh so what are you going to do?" grave questioned.

"will go to alvin's place and get her back" I answered.

"Think before you do anything stupid Richard. What do you think would happen if you go straight to alvin's place and force her to come with you? do you think she would come with you?" grace asked.

"yes she would come with me. She's mine and only mine" I shouted.

"she doesn't want to live here Richard" grace said.

"what? Do you even know what you are saying?" I questioned her.

"yes sapphire herself told me that she doesn't want to stay here. She doesn't like it here. Give up on her Richard" grace said caressing my cheeks.

"no not possible. Why would she say something like that to you? you are lying" I shouted and grace flinched but approached me again.

"why would I lie Richard? Tell me what would I get if I lie to you" grace said.

"no no sapph is mine and I'll get her" I shouted.

"okay call Alvin and say that you are going and getting sapph back to your house" grace said.

"yea I will call him.. I will call him" I repeated. I tried calling Alvin but he isn't lifting my call.

"what he isn't taking your call right? now do you understand that she doesn't want to live in your house? She herself told me that she don't like living here" grace said and I was petrified.

What do I do without sapph in my life. I want her and only her. Why would she not want to live with me? I want her I want her I WANT HER.

After one month..........

Only I know how I'm living without sapph. Its like as if I've been thrown into darkness from which I cannot return. Life without my princess is horrible. My 'mind' stopped talking with me after sapph left and it's last words to me were, "I told you what was wrong with my sweetheart but you being you didn't believe me now suffer".

I don't eat, I don't sleep, I just practically live in my office. I stopped going home. Grace brings me lunch and dinner but, I refuse to eat. I call Alvin everyday asking him to give the phone to sapph but, his answer is always the same "no I can't leave her alone". Only if I know what is wrong with her I would make it right and get her back.

Suddenly my cabin's door opened and there stood xander, rick, chris and a girl who seemed familiar, very familiar.

"man look at yourself. You give out criminal's vibes. Go get yourself cleaned" xander said as he sat on the couch.

"what are you people doing here? Get out" I shouted at them. I'm really not in a mood to talk to them.

"Richard are you out of your mind. Do you even understand what you are doing to yourself?" chris shouted making the girl on whom he has his hand wrapped flinch.

"what do you want from me?" I questioned them.

"get yourself cleaned and come with us" rick said.

"why?" I questioned.

"we have to go somewhere" chris said.

"where?" I questioned.

"you'll know. But, first please make yourself presentable" chris answered. I gave out a defeated sigh and went into my bedroom which is connected to my cabin.

Once I got out, they dragged me to our usual club. They are such a pain in my a**. I don't really want to go anywhere. I just want to stay alone and engage myself in work.

"so tell me what happened?" chris questioned.

"what happened?" I said and I shrugged.

"what's the matter Richard?" xander questioned seriously.

"no..nothing I guess" I answered him.

"then why Is sapph sapph staying with Alvin and not with you?" chris asked.

"because she doesn't want to stay with me" I shouted.

"and who the hell told that to you?" chris asked.

"grace" I answered.

"I knew grace is behind all the f**k that was happening in your life" rick said under his breathe.

"what?" I questioned.

"and you believed grace?" chris questioned and I shrugged.

"Alvin is right about you Richard. You are living with a manipulating witch" chris said.

"can you elobrate" I asked chris.

"nothing you wouldn't believe us even if we say the truth." Chris said and I just shook my head not understanding what they were talking.

"we met sapph on rick's birthday" chris said.

"rick's birthday? Why didn't you invite me rick? I missed the chance of meeting my sapph" I shouted.

"I didn't invite you? xander even came to your office to drag you to my party but you didn't want to come" rick SAID.

"HE DIDN'T SAY THAT SAPPH WAS GOING TO BE THERE" I shouted.

"we were going to surprise you idiot" chris said.

"how was sapph? Is she healthy? Is she doing good?" I asked them.

"that you have to see for yourself" xander said.

"I even flew to Canada but was unable to see her because Alvin wouldn't allow me" I said.

"well.... Millers officially adopted sapph" xander said and I nodded smiling at the thought of my princess. How I wish she was here with me.

"who is she?" I asked pointing at the girl whom I found familiar.

"you don't remember her?" chris asked awestruck and I shook my head.

"she's Lillan Jones" chris said pulling her more towards him while she was pushing him away.

"what? You are telling me that she's our elephant who ran away from you three years ago?" I questioned to which chris nodded.

"woah she lost some weight" I said and earned a smack on my head from xander.

"how are you doing fatso elephant?" I asked lilly and she didn't answer me.

"give some respect Richard. Don't you dare call her that again" chris warned me. I looked at lilly to apologize to her but she ran away crying and chris ran after her. What's going on between them?

"what's the matter with him?" I asked xander and rick.

"he loves her" rick answered and I was awestruck.

"what you mean to say that chris fell in love with her? Our ele.. sorry lilly?" I questioned and they nodded.

Christopher King's (CHIRS) POV:

I saw my lilly running away from the club and ran after her. I got a hold of her and pulled her to me.

"why are you crying lilly" I questioned her as I hugged her.

"why don't you leave me alone Mr.King ? what did I ever do to you? please leave me alone" she sobbed pushing me away.

"I can't do that baby. I've got a hold of you after three long years of hell and I'm never going to leave you again. Now tell me should I kill Richard for making you cry?" I asked her wiping her tears away and she pulled away from my touch.

"lilly what do you want me to do to make you love me again?" I asked her pulling her hands in mine.

"will you do anything that I tell you?" she questioned me and I nodded happily.

"then leave alone. Don't come after me" she shouted.

"I can't do that baby and I will never do that" saying that I pulled her into a passionate kiss. She didn't kiss me back and was pushing me away and hitting me. I started placing butterfly kisses on her neck and was about to lip lock again, I heard my phone ring. Arghhhhhhhh someone had to disturb my time with her. It was Alvin.

"what?" I shouted into the phone and saw my lilly flinch at me shouting so, I gripped her waist and hugged her tightly to me.

"why are you shouting brother. Anyways the day after tomorrow is my parents anniversary you all are invited. Pass this to everyone" Alvin said and cut the call.

I put my phone back into my pocket and hugged my lilly happily and as usual she was trying to push me away. I have to make her love me again and I promise to myself that I'll not allow her to run away from me again. I took my lilly's hand and went into the club.

"what should I do to meet sapph?" I heard Richard say as me and lilly were entering into the club.

"well here's a good news for you Richard. Alvin invited us to his parents anniversary" I said and Richard smiled a big smile.

"I'll bring back sapph with me and will never allow her out of my reach again" Richard said and we all except lilly nodded.

Richard McCarthy's POV:

I hurried to my home as I was very excited. I'm going to meet sapph in two days. Once I know what' wrong with her, I will correct it for her and get her back. I started packing but stopped when grace interrupted.

"where are you going?" grace asked.

"to Miller's party" I answered.

"oh okay wait I'll tag along with you so that you wouldn't feel alone" grace offered. I was about to reject and before I can do that she ran away.

Me and grace were waiting for the others. We decided to go in my private plane. Grace was behaving very clingy these days. She never leaves me alone even when I stopped going home she would come regularly to visit me. I don't know why but I'm hating this behavior of her. The others arrived again gave grace questioning looks.

"did Alvin invite you?" xander asked grace.

"well inviting Richard practically means that he invited me too" grace said with a mocking smile.

"what?" I questioned confused by her statement.

"nothing sweetheart let's get going" grace said.

"sweetheart??? Oh please I'm about to puke. From when did you become her sweetheart?" my 'mind' questioned.

'you okay 'mind'? where the hell were you when I needed you' I cross questioned in excitement that my 'mind' was back.

"you first answer me idiot. Why did she call you sweetheart and why is she coming with you to Canada" my 'mind' asked.

'I don't know' I said sincerely. I don't care about why grace is coming all I care is about sapph and me meeting her.

So sorry couldn't update early this week. Well my boss loaded me with work and I had to focus on my work.
