Khushi PoV

I went upstairs and saw Hardik sleeping in the couch. Strange he never sleeps in afternoon but maybe he is tired. I could see his wallet umm should I take it or wake him up?

After debating a lot I took out the money from his wallet and went downstairs. I called the driver and went to the shop and bought the rasmalai.

I entered the home and went straight to dadi room and knocked the door.

"Hmm so madam is finally back. Did you spent all the money or try to save some?" Dadi said

"Dadi the cost was 499 so I couldn't.." I said

"Arre will you pay as much the cost don't you know how to bargain arre my son and your husband work day and night for money and you waste it like this huh what to expect from a rich spoils brat I am sure your mom is just like you haven't she taught you anything?" Dadi said

My blood boiled up I don't care what she says about me but don't drag my parents and rich spoilt brat I was treated worse than here there.

"Dadi you can say whatever you want about me but pls don't say anything about my parents and this rasmalai is for you and not for me I think you don't want to have it now as it's your nap time I ll serve you this during the dinner" I said and left ignoring dadi s call from behind.

I kept the rasmalai in fridge and left for my room to my surprise Hardik was still there and sleeping what s wrong with him?

I went near him and tried to wake him up. My hand were on his arm and I said "Hardik pls wake up"

After constantly trying he finally stirred a little in his sleep. Sighing I opened the curtains and let the sun rays enter the room soon he started stirring a little more and I went near him and said again

"Wake up sir"

However he just said "no"

Well I can't deny he was looking so cute I went a little near him and again asked him to wake but this time he grabbed my waist and bought me over himself, I was wearing a saree and his hand were on my bare waist it was just giving me goosebumps. My hand were on his cheeks and I was struggling to come out of his strong grip. He gently stroke my hair while I was just looking at him I finally said "good morning pls wake up it s time"
He pecked my cheek and was about to close his eyes again but I lightly hit his cheek and
He finally opened his eyes seeing our position he jolted up and I got up immediately.

Uff it took so much time to wake up him how will I manage a baby?

"What is the time ?" He asked in a sleepy voice

"It's almost 3" I said

"What how can I sleep for so long shit my meeting is at four how will I reach on time" he said

"Sir maybe after lunch you..." I said

"Oh shut up I am sure you must have mixed up something in my food." He said

"Sir how can you say that I didn't.." I said

"I don't have time for this drama now I ll deal with you later right now just go and pick out my clothes I need to freshen up before the meeting " he said

"Why did you blame me then sir? If you didn't have time ?" I said

"Khushi what's wrong with you why are you so eager for a fight listen this meeting is very important for me so pls not now " he said

I didn't said anything just went took out his clothes while he freshen up, I kept the hand on my belly and said " I hate your father just don't be like him"

Soon he came and I made him wear his shoes despite the difficultly and gave him his hankerchief and wallet. And I remembered I need to tell him that I took some money

"Sir I wanted to tell you that I took..." I said

"Khushi not now I ll listen after I come back and yes take care of dadi" he said

"But ..." he left!

Phew I took out my book and read that and finally it was dinner time and mom was helping me and as usual dadi and nani were fighting for something.

The doorbell rung and I opened the door it was dad and Hardik and both were very happy.

"Maa mom Nalini every one come here" dad said and Hardik followed him . I took his briefcase kept in his room and bought glass of water.

"Arre first sit down both of you and drink some water" dadi said

I served them water and they drank while all we three ladies were excited to know the good news.

"Well today I am very happy and proud of my son he cracked the deal and it's the most important deal for us it will help our company a lot at first I was scared as Hardik came ten minutes late for the meeting but all my anger vanished after listening to his presentation" dad said

"Arre he is my grandson so proud of you beta continues doing good" dadi said

"But I feel their is some lucky charm Khushi and this baby is surely our luck" nani said

I stiffen at her compliment and looked down. While dadi stare at me dad and mom gave me a sweet smile however Hardik face was blank.

"Well now you both freshen up we have the dinner " mom said

Soon all were sitting in the table but the bell rung and I saw dadi smirked. I clutched my nuptial chain and prayed to god that nothing bad happens.

It was a rasmalai wala.

"Arre I thought to order some sweet for night after hearing such a good news" dadi said

"But dadi there is already ..." I said

Dadi cut me off and said "Hardik beta pay him the money "

Hardik asked "how much" and before he replied I said "499"
All looked at me and before I could explain dadi said "give it beta"

Hardik took out his wallet and said "Arre where is my 500 rupees note? Well do you have change for 2000"

He nodded his head in a no.

"I remember I had withdrawn a 500 note in morning how come it's not here?" Hardik said

"Maybe you have given it to someone it's just a matter of 500 rupee how does it matter?" Nani said

"No nani I haven't and for me even 1 rupee matter" he said

"Take this 500 note and leave " dad said and the man left

"My 500 note was ..." Hardik said

Mom cut her off and said " Hardik are you a kid it's okay it is just a 500 rupees note forget it and continue the dinner in silence "

"Wah teach him this only arre you need to value even 1 rupee Hardik find out where did the money went or someone stole it?" Dadi said looking at me

"Who will steal money?" Mom said

" I don't know but I ll find it out" Hardik said

Finally I said " dadi asked me to bring rasmalai in afternoon and Hardik was sleeping so I took a 500 rupees note and I wanted to inform but you were in hurry so I didn't got the time"

"Oh this was the matter and we thought..." mom said

"Wait what huh when did I asked you to bring rasmalai and am I made that I ll ask you to bring a sweet without any reason I was sleeping in the afternoon I didn't had any rasmalai " dadi said

"Yeah dadi you didn't have it in afternoon it's in the fridge you ll have it now" I said

"Wah what a lier you are " dadi said

"I am not lying I ..." I said

"Khushi if you are saying the truth then go and bring the rasmali from the fridge " Hardik said

I nodded and rushed in the kitchen and opened the fridge.

Okay so I edited and cut a lot of drama part and dialogues as it was becoming excess and next update will also not entirely be that and the last chapter for family characters.

I want to apologise for the late update also making you all wait for so long and then giving a Shity update like this!

I feel this was a terrible update pls give me suggestions as my writing is going down day by day!
