Khushi PoV

Hand wrapped around my waist and eyes closed prayed god for one last time. I was about to fall in the ground but a hand wrapped my waist just like in films. I wrapped my hand around the neck of my hero thanks Hardik wait why is Hardik wearing a necklace? I opened my eyes to see the most embarrassing sight ever. Dadi was holding me my eyes shoot up and I looked down all red.

Mother Earth pls swallow me !! I heard two laughter from behind it was mom and nani . One glare from dadi made them mumble their laugh.
Finally dadi put me on the ground.

"Can't you even walk properly listen Khushi you are a pregnant lady you are carrying the Pandya heir inside you so pls take care of that" she said and left.

"Khushi come beta lets leave you are fine na?" Mom asked

"Yes " I said

We all left Hardik and his dad would reach the venue from office itself. Soon we reached the venue.

"Beta you go and sit their Hardik will join you soon" mom said

I sat their and pandit ji put a tika on my forehead and soon Hardik join and the ritual started. A lot of people came and praised me and gave me and Hardik well wishes.

Soon the puja ended we distributed the gifts to all ate the lunch. Mom and dad went for shopping while Hardik dadi and I went home.

Right now I was sitting in my dressing room and removing my jewelleries.

'Baby what should I make for dinner today' I asked keeping hand on my stomach.

"Rajma chawal"

"Baby you spoke but how and this is not fare why do you have a voice like your dad ?" I said

I realised after a minute it was Hardik I turned back it was Hardik standing crossing his arms I pouted angry and said

"Baby today I ll make malai kofta and nan"

"What I want rajma chawal" Hardik said

"Should I also make khulcha along with nan baby" I said ignoring Hardik

"Khushi don't make me angry I said only rajma chawal will be cooked do you get it" Hardik said angrily

I got scared and replied in a soft voice

"I cannot make rajma"

"WHY" he shouted I flinched on his tone and quietly said

"Because there is no rajma in the house" I said

His face was worth watching. I badly wanted to laugh at him but I control it for my dear life. He took out his phone and called someone and said

"Aman I want 50 kg of rajma in my home within an hour"

"What 50 kg why so much it's not needed and I have already made malai kofta it will be wasted "
I said

Hardik didn't said anything he came closer to me and suddenly carried me in his arms

"What are you doing put me down" I said

He took me in the kitchen and made me sat near the sink . He opened the fridge and took out the malai kofta

"Now listen you have to option one to make rajma or two is that I threw your this malai kofta in the sink" he said

My eyes went wide open and finally I said

"I ll make it"

"Good girl" he said and kissed my cheek to which I blushed.

"Hay Ram nowdays kids have no shame only" dadi said

We quickly pulled back and without saying anything Hardik just left. Bad man

Dadi just eyed me while I look down.

"Come to my room with coconut oil fast" dadi said and left

I took the oil and heated it and went to dadi room. I knocked the door

"Come inside " dadi said

"Well does that hands of you can massage or just do magic on my grandson" she said

What is her problem?

"I can dadi" I said in a low voice

"Then why are you looking at my face do my hair massage fast " she said

I nodded and started doing her massage. Suddenly her phone rang and she asked to bring it so I went towards the charging point and took out the phone.

"Hardik Hardik beta save me" I heard dadi shout I looked towards her she was on the floor while the oil was spread over the floor.

Soon Hardik came and dadi said

"Beta your wife she ll kill me save me from her. I was sitting here and she bought me the oil and told me to put it on her hair I was putting the oil that by mistake a little bit of oil fell down so she got angry and asked me to wipe it I was wiping it and suddenly I feel down" dadi said

"No Hardik she is lying dadi asked me to bring the oil and put it on her hair her phone rung so I went to bring her the phone and when I turned back she was on the floor I swear I didn't do anything " I said

"See Hardik beta she is lying don't you trust your dadi" she said

Hardik came towards me while I just clutched my dress tightly.

"I think I have given you a lot of freedom you have forgotten how to behave. How dare you even ask my dadi to put oil in your dirty hair and you had the audacity to hurt her . How dare you?" Hardik shouted

"Believe me sir I didn't do anything I swear" I said

"Shut up " he shouted

"Say sorry to dadi right now" he said

"But I didn't do anything " I said and he gave me a tight slap . I saw dadi smirking. Why is she doing this?

"Do as I say" he shouted

"Leave it beta " she said

"No dadi I have to teach her a lesson " he said and took my hand and dragged me towards our room.

He pulled the washroom gate and threw me inside.

"You ll stay inside till you realise your mistake" he said

"Believe me sir I didn't do anything " I said

"Stop lying Khushi for fuck sake" he shouted and threw something and left

I kept banging the door and requesting him to open the door but he didn't listen.

It's almost one hour of me being inside my throat is dried from all the shouting I want water. It's getting dark and I am very scared of darkness. I sat near the wall bought my knees closer to my chest and cried my heart out.

Hardik PoV

The bell rung and I opened the door. It was mom.

"Beta your father have left for the office and is asking for you as well and yes pick up nani from parlour on your way back" she said

"Okay mom I ll leave " I said

"Beta first keep this in the kitchen " she said and gave me few packet. I nodded and went towards the kitchen.

Mom poured some water in the glass and gave me I silently drank it.

"So where is dadi hope she didn't trouble you both" she said

"Trouble making is your daughter in law work not mine " dadi entered and said

Oh god sas-bahu drama!!

"No maji I didn't mean that I was..." mom stammered

"Leave it learn something from Hardik how is he training his wife and you forget it. Anyway ask someone to bring my evening tea" dadi said and left

"What training are you giving to Khushi?" Mom asked

"Nothing mom" I said

"Hardik dadi is trying to manipulate you . Khushi is a nice girl don't fall in your dadi s trap " mom said and left

I sighed and went to my room. I opened the washroom too see the most shocking scene ever.
