Going Reverse

It was the big show tonight in the tent of telepathy. The seats were taken and every last chair was already owned to a visitor. The audience waited, their eyes glued to the curtains. They were ready for those cloth blankets to pull away. And after minutes of preparation in the back the curtains were drawn by a glum, sad looking man. His eye was gazing at the people with unhappiness. He nervously fumbled with his blue tailcoat and slid away, allowing the actual presentation to begin.

A young adult girl stepped out, her blue high-heals clicking on the wooden stage floor. She spread her arms and the spotlight gleamed against her, her clothes and headband glimmering. Everyone watched with amazed eyes and started to glance behind her at the oddly colorful star painted on the wall. It also weirdly had a circular shaped eye in the center. But with no anticipation to leave they clapped when the lights dimmed, awaiting the next performer...

"Lady's and Gentlemen!" the girl announced. "I thank you all for visiting this special night..." She walked around with slow movements, eyeing the audience. She glanced at the far back of the stage, waving daintily at a boy in the back who hid there face with a hat.

The lady cleared her throat and pressed a hand on her chest, spreading her arm to the right. "Please welcome my brother, Dipper Gleeful!"

The crowd rumbled with cheer and applauded. Revealing himself away from the curtains Dipper strode out with a hand on the amulet clasping his cape together. His birth mark glowed a little in the narrow light and his amulet let out an effulgent blue glow. Fireworks crackled above them and fireflies zipped around, landing in each of the persons' hands. The audience were bewildered and cheered louder.

"I'd like to thank my sister, Mabel Gleeful," Dipper said with a plain gaze at everyone. "We've been planning this astonishing performance for you all." He touched the wooden wall and the star shimmered gently. A piece chipped off and he held it firmly in his hand. He gave it to a young boy and presented a tied up man; the man who reeled the curtains back.

"Go ahead, little boy...If you hit this man with that wooden chip something incredible will happen..." Dipper's bribery easily worked and the boy didn't hesitate. He threw the piece at the man and it burst into tiny shreds. The tiny shreds turned into glowing triangles, then into bees.

"Whoa!" the boy exclaimed and the people clapped.

Dipper grunted and glared at his 'assistant'. "That wasn't supposed to happen you idiot..."

The man looked at him with a slightly pleased, crooked smile. Dipper got infuriated and placed a crown of thorns on his head. The man snapped his fingers, giggled adorably, and the thorns turned into strewn flowers with an amazing scent.

People admired the man and smiled. "Aww...he's so cute!" Little girls and boys rushed up to the stage, wanting to hug him.

Dipper glare nastily and walked over to his sister. "William's stealing the show," he whispered icily.

Mabel gazed at his brother. "You mean Bill? It's fine...as long as the audience stays for our next stunt..."

Her brother groaned gently and gripped his amulet, sending the children hovering back to their seats. Mothers and Fathers caught their children and laughed gently.

"Please make yourselves even more comfortable! We've got more to show!" Mabel called and a deer trot in with odd spotted patterns on its back. It's eyes showed the galaxy, and its antlers showed the greens of a forest.

"Cool!" children said and smiled.

William hesitated for a moment, then gently brushed his palm on the deer's head. Its eyes rolled back, and it turned into beautiful doves with wonderful colors painted on their feathers. The audience roared with astonishment and Dipper had enough of this already.

"Excuse me for a moment," said Dipper. "My sister will lead the show until the end. Sorry for my absence." He snagged William by the bow tie and tugged him past the curtains, into the backstage. He opened the door to his preparation room and threw him in, following with a door slam.

William landed roughly on a chair, sizzling chains clamping around him. He was trapped, struggling and crying. IT BURNED. His clothes started to get burn marks and his bow tie was engulfed by small flames.

Dipper removed the chains with no grimace and pinned him down, not allowing him to escape.

"Listen here!" he yelled. "THIS IS MY TIME TO PLEASE THE CROWD! YOU'VE DONE THIS TOO MANY TIMES! STEAL THE AUDIENCE'S ATTENTION AND ACT SO HAPPY!" He slapped him with a belt, leaving a stinging mark.

"M-Master! S-Sir Gleeful!" William cried. "P-Please stop! It hurts!" He writhed under Dipper's grip.

'Mr. Gleeful' let go and swiftly kicked him in the crotch. William's voice hitched as he bit his lip, pushing back a shriek of pain. Dipper tossed him onto the couch, punching him on the mouth. After moments of calming down Dipper glared and watched William cry. His nose and lip was bleeding, and his clothes were torn and damaged.

"M-Mister...Gleeful..." whispered William with a hoarse voice. "S-Stop..."

With slightly softening eyes and easing shoulders Dipper Gleeful fixed the rim of his sleeves and dusted his pants, fixing his belt. He threw William's flower crown off and tore it into to shreds. He leaned over to William's face and growled lowly, then licked the blood away.

"U-Uh," William stammered. "D-Dipper...Gleeful? What are you- HMPH!" He panicked internally and flinched his arms around, gripping the couch. His 'master' kissed him to shut him up and his mouth was hung open in spite to protest from the kiss. William struggled to push him away and gripped his shoulders. When Dipper slowly pulled away William grunted and looked at him.

"Don't ask. I swear if you ruin our spotlight I'll murder you clean off the stage and they'll sweep away your guts." Dipper escaped the room and came back to finish the show, leaving William flustered as fuck.
