Bad weather, Good ending.
It was raining. Clouds were grey and the sky was dark. The trees were bending to the side as the wind pummeled through the streets. It carried litter and leaves as it blew. Even thunder and lightening joined the fun.
Dipper was stranded at a bus stop, waiting for the vehicle to shamble over. The storm was getting worse as he waited. Problem was he didn't bring an umbrella. He thought the forecast would be true to their word: It's going to be sunshine and sun showers all day. But as always they lied. Dipper was getting sick and tired of himself believing the weather reports. He sat down tiredly. It was already twelve in the morning. He had been waiting there ever since eleven. An hour was how long he'd been stranded there. Finally giving up he got up to his feet and shoved his hood on. He took out his phone and plugged ear phones in, beginning to listen to music. He headed down the streets where city lights were beaming in the sky. He was basically the only one walking through the night. Everyone was luckily fast asleep or safely at home. Dipper was just outside, getting soaked and having thunder accompanying him.
I wish I found some better sounds no one's ever heard,
I wish I had a better voice that sang some better words,
I wish I found some chords in an order that is new,
I wish I didn't have to rhyme every time I sang...
Dipper kept walking, then sat down on a bench. He was exhausted already and wanted to go home...Get home with just his sister, Waddles, his uncle...and...a-and....
I was told when I get older all my fears would shrink,
But now I'm insecure and I care what people think.
My name's 'Blurryface' and I care what you think...
I mean...who else could he possibly expect to see when he gets back at home, safe and sound, cozy and relaxed...Who?
Wish we could turn back time, to the good ol' days,
When our momma sang us to sleep but now we're stressed out.
Dipper was stuck, silent and with his eyes staring at the wet cobblestone ground. He was stumped...he didn't dare to think who he wanted to see...He didn't dare to say his name...Was it really another guy he was expecting? Couldn't it be a girl's name..? It HAD to be a girl, r-right? Yeah! Exactly! A g-girl! But...Dipper's heart was racing at the thought of the man's name...
Hey kid, I know you can hear me.
Hey kid, I know you can see.
Hey kid, things are 'bout to get crazy.
So just sit right there and you listen to me.
I've seen more than you can imagine.
I've heard things to torture your soul.
Join me and we'll both get ahead kid
Shake my hand and then, we'll both have it all.
Don't let go of this opportunity
'cause there's no guarantee it'll last
What say you little pal have we got a deal?
haven't got all day so you'd best think fast.
Side with me kid
I'll have your back
Count me in when
confidence is all you lack
Price is simple
rather sparing
Time is slipping
Life is choices
let's start living.
Dipper nearly leaped out of his seat. The previous song switched. And, incredibly, while the song was whispering into his ears...He imagined it to be his voice-- NO! Dipper couldn't take it anymore. He didn't need him in his mind! Not ever! The boy quickly started walking, trying to change the song. The songs he'd pressed wouldn't play, and the song just continued rolling.
You know you've always been different
They'll just drag you down don't you see
It's tough but you've got to be brave
they're just dead weight you gotta cut away to be free.
You know that they'll try to deceive you
Your hunches were right from the start
You don't have to sit and play good boy
take a stand and tear this world all apart...
Dipper started running as if it was the solution to escaping this stubborn song. More of the man's voice was imagined as he listened, and tears started to slip down from his watering eyes. A cascade of tears blurred his vision as he stopped at a light post. He panted and took a deep breath, slowly relieving from the voice in his head. He looked up, spotting a slight shadow in the shape of the imaginative man. Scared and surprised Dipper darted away, continuing to see the figure pop up out of nowhere. He ran over bridges and walked through parking lots, trying to loose sight of him. Dipper slowly accelerated his speed, finally stopping.
He'd tripped over a rock and landed in a seemingly large puddle. Muddy water splotched on his sweater and mud splattered on his face. Through his jeans he was soaked. Even his Bill Cipher Wheel tattoo was washing off. He looked ahead of him, surprised to see dress shoes in front of his face. He craned his neck upwards, finding a soft smile. It was him. The man he didn't want to see after all those assertive arguments with him.
"Hey there, Pine Tree," he said and stretched his hand out at him. Dipper hesitated. He looked at him. His golden hair was soaking and his outfit was dripping. He reluctantly took his hand and stood up, sniffing a little from the rain. The man in front of him snapped his fingers and an umbrella appeared right before their eyes. He held it above Dipper, slinging his arm around his shoulder. He walked Dipper back to the shack and sat on the porch with him. He dried out his hair with a nearby towel and wrapped Dipper with it.
"You okay?" he asked, looking at the boy with a cheeky smile.
"...Not at all, Bill..." Dipper frowned. He wanted to get mad at Bill. Yell at him for everything he got him into. He wouldn't scream. He wanted to shout. He even wanted to harm him. Punch him. Kick him. But he didn't want to anyways...He just couldn't...
Dipper looked at the floor beneath his wet sneakers. He sighed and slowly started crying, removing the ear buds. He sobbed into his hands, and the man looked confused.
"Hey...Dipper," Bill whispered, nudging him. "Are you fine--"
"NO!" Dipper screamed. He looked at Bill with angry-sad eyes. A cascade of tears was washing down his face as if he was a rain storm himself. He snagged him by his bow tie, then stopped and let go, sobbing. He slapped Bill, crying even more. "Do you really love me?! All you just do is use me again and again like a toy, and then throw me away! Do you only want to just use me for 'intercourse' only?! IS THAT ALL I AM!"
Bill looked wide-eyed at him. He was speechless. He didn't know whether it was true or not. It was fifty-fifty that it was true or false. He just didn't know...That was true about what Dipper said, but at the same time it was false. Sure he'd used him for sex only, but he felt like he really did like the boy more than that. Like a husband-to-wife feeling. He slowly touched Dipper's cheek and pulled him into a hug.
"Let go of me," murmured Dipper. He tried to push away, but Bill's arms tightened. Bill wanted Dipper to be close to him. In his touch. Nothing but gentle caresses and word exchanges. He wanted to talk to him. Like actually explain something instead of being so forward into having intercourse with him.
"Dipper...can you please just listen to me for a moment..." Bill would beg forever if Dipper kept refusing. He hoped that the boy would listen to him for once..."Listen, Dipper...If you think all I want from you is to...you know, have it with you...You're wrong...I do love you...and to show you that I'll keep you safe, happy, loved...Just please stay with me..."
Dipper grunted and looked away. Could he ever trust him? He was hard to get with, stubborn, cheeky, mischievous, horrible...It was just that an itchy feeling was crawling up his spine. He wanted to say he loved him, but choked back the words. He didn't want to admit it! He didn't want to begin something he wasn't prepared for...
"Come on...please..." Bill looked at Dipper with a hopeful eye and sighed. "I promise to make you happy all your life...like humans are supposed to do...I'll be on my best behavior...all that stuff..."
Dipper snorted a little and hid his smile. Bill could be stupidly funny. Dorky, clumsy, clueless. He was a demon after all. He didn't know absolutely everything. Especially things about humans. He only new secrets, lies, and the truths...but maybe he was saying the truth.
"....*sigh* Fine...But so help me DO SOMETHING TERRIBLE I WILL NEVER GIVE LITTLE TO NO EMPATHY OR MERCY ON YOU--"
"Shut up," Bill interrupted and kissed him with as much passion and love he held. He pulled Dipper close and smiled against his lips, happy and relieved to have him back. Dipper hesitantly kissed back and quickly pulled away after not even ten seconds.
"W-We're...boyfriends again, right?" Dipper asked shyly, blushing softly.
"We could be anything you want, kid. We could be friends, boyfriends, husbands...parents..."
"Whoa. Hold your horses!" Dipper laughed and pushed Bill a little. "Not too far. We're still here in the present. That's far off in the future!"
Bill laughed a little. "Maybe...but as long as you side with me, kid...the world will never tear apart..."
