Bill had been eyeing Dipper for a while now, ever since he experienced feelings he felt a small spark everytime he saw Dipper. It hurt, but felt good at the same time. And every day that feeling grew.

Bill sat down on the couch and mostly ignored Mabels rant of the day. He was wondering why Dipper was taking so long in his room. Suddenly he heard footsteps, which made him look up. His dull look instantly brightened as he saw Dipper. He was all dressed up, wearing a black leather jacket and a white T-shirt. He had on black skinny jeans and white running shoes. Dipper smiled up at Bill through his bangs.

"Do you like it?" He asked. Bill slowly nodded. "You like amazing," Bill smiled. Mabel awed. "Who's your date by the way?" She asked. Bill froze. "Wait... What?" He asked slowly. Dipper clicked his tongue.

"Oh yeah, I have a date with Pacifica tonight." He said. Bill tripped over his words. Mabel lectured him about being safe, as a million thoughts ran through Bills mind. He felt his heart sink into the pit of his stomach.

Dipper was already out the door and a few feet from the shack, as he was headed to the diner to meet with Paz. Bill got up and ran over to him, faster then he ever ran before. As if his life depended on it.

"Wait! ...Wait!" Bill yelled, catching up to Dipper. Dipper slowed to a stop and turned to Bill, wondering why he stopped him.

Bill took a breath, then continued. "Don't go on that date with her... Please," Bill started. "Please don't go." Dipper was confused.

"Why shouldn't I?" He asked.

"..Because there's something I should of told you a long time ago." Bill explained. Dipper nodded for Bill to continue.

"When I'm around you, I feel like I could... I could do anything.... When your here I..." Bill shook a bit, gathering courage to say what he has to say. "I feel the happiest.. I feel like all my problems go away for a little while and.. I feel great!" Bill laughed sorrowfully. Dipper watched Bill break down.

Bill furrowed his brows and looked Dipper straight in the eyes. "I don't want.. To know a world without you.. You keep saying your worthless, and that no one could ever love you, that no one will be willing to sacrifice everything for you, well I am!" Bill yelled, trembling and clenching his fists.

Dipper lightly gasped as tears welled up in his eyes to Bills words.

"I'd give up everything here! I'd give up being evil, I'd give up using powers, I'd give up tormenting your family! ...I'd give up anything for you."

Dipper held back tears as he stared Bill down.

"Why?"

Bill sucked in a breath. "Because I... I..." Bill shook as Dipper waited for a response.

"I love you.." Bill finally said, letting tears of his own fall. He wiped them away and mumbled about how he was leaking.

Dipper couldn't believe what he was hearing. "W-What?"

"I love you," Bill chuckled bitterly. "Bill.. I-"

"Look I don't care.. If you don't love me back, you don't have to.... I just wanted you to know." Bill said, now looking at the floor. His arms went limp at his side. Dipper couldn't find any words.

Bill then sucked in a breath. "But if she breaks your heart...." Bill trailed off. He felt hot tears roll down his face as he tilted his head down more.

"I'll still be here to put it back together."

He sounded so... So broken. Dipper has never seen this side of Bill. Usually Bill would walk around the place like he owned it and his ego was bigger then Gideons hair, but this is different. Bill was letting out everything. Dipper liked this side of him.

Bill let out a choked sob. "And I'll always be here for you... I'll always be your best friend.."

Bill let out a few sobs and he covered his face with his hands. Dipper stared at Bill, it crushed him to see Bill this way. Bill took a deep breath.

"I don't want you to feel bad, there's no way you could've possibly known.. I just wanted you to know now... Before it was too late."

Dipper looked down at the ground. Bill sighed. "Enjoy your date, Pinetree." Bill said, plastering a fake smile onto his face.

Dipper nodded and returned the smile. "Thank you, Bill." He said, the turned around, walking to the diner once more.

Bill stared at Dipper as he left Bill standing there. Alone.

Once Dipper was out of sight Bill fell down onto his knees and sobbed.

He was too late.
