+Reverse Falls: Morning+
Dipper woke up to the familiar sight of mold on the ceiling at the Mystery Shack. He sat up quickly and took in his surrounds to find himself actually in the wooden home.
"No, no, no- Don't tell me I've been dreaming it all..." Dipper pressed the base of his palm against his forehead as he fell back onto the bed.
"Sapling!" Bill had exclaimed slamming the door open loudly against the wall.
Dipper sat upright again and looked at his father. Sighing in relief, he held a hand over his heart. He thought for a moment he was back in the Mystery Shack in their dimension. "What is it Bill? You almost gave me a heart attack."
Bill just chuckled and moved over to his son, taking a seat next to him. "Well I was wondering what you wanted to do today. If you're gonna hangout with the kids then I'm gonna head out on a date with your mother." He laughed a bit when he saw Dipper's expression of a normal 'eww-gross-you-didn't-have-to-tell-me' look. "If you're not hanging out with them, then we can spend today as a family doing anything you want."
Dipper thought about it and weight his options. Hanging out with his friends while his parents could go on a date since they haven't seen each other in so long. Hanging out with the family since he would choose what they did for the day. Both sounded good, but he wanted to let his parents rekindle their relationship since Bill had been locked away for a long time. Sure he had been away for twelve years, but it's not like he's gonna disappear again any time soon.
"You can go on a date with Mother. I kinda wanna be alone for a while. You know get to see the sights on my own and find a few new things." Dipper smiled at his father after telling him his plan.
Bill grinned and kissed his son on the cheek. "Alright Sapling. Make sure to shout if you need us, we're always watching and listening for you just in case."
Dipper rolled his eyes playfully, "I know." He kissed his father back on the cheek. "Now head out, I'm gonna try and wake up a bit more. My eyes can barely open up fully." Proving his point by rubbing his eyes.
Bill ruffed his son's head before teleporting out of the room. Dipper flopped back on his bed. He groans and turns his head to the side, seeing his backpack. He reached out to get his dolls. Surprisingly he only felt one of them there.
He twisted his body to look at his backpack fully. Only one of his dolls was there and that was his father doll. His mother doll is missing. "Where could it be? I made sure the clips were securely locked." He wondered to himself.
He opened his bag quickly and pulled out a different set of clothes today. Dipper got out of the room and headed for a quick shower. As soon as he was finished he put on his fresh set of clothes, then headed back to the room he had been resting in.
"I need to find my other doll. Bill and Will should be on a date, I can't disturb them with something like this." He shakes his head, he would just be being rude to them. "I'll look around town. Maybe it fell off somewhere."
He put his backpack back on and started out to search for his blue doll, which so happens to be in the hands of his reverse self.
+Gleeful Home+
Tyrone sat his bed, freshly awake after a nice bath, looking at the blue doll in his hand. A knock came sounding from his door.
"Come in."
The door opened and Mabel is there looking at him. She leaned her side against the door frame with a bored expression. "Dear brother, we have a day off today. Seems like Stanford and Stanley left for the other town to look for some supplies." She saw the blue doll in her brother's hand. "Isn't that your opposite's toy?" Mabel remembered the object since it was hanging on a backpack while she was sitting at the picnic table last night.
"Yes. I thought it could be a good opportunity to use this. Maybe he'll come looking for his little toy." Tyrone smirked as he stood up from his bed. An idea of a plan formed through his mind yesterday. He'd have the young demon version of himself in the palm of his hand. Playing the young demon like a violin.
Mabel giggled and rolled her eyes. "I see, well I must be on my way. Grenda and Candy want to hangout today. They're gonna help me put some sense in my stalkers." Tyrone waved her off to do her own thing. Mabel waved a short bye as she left his room.
Since he was free for today, Tyrone decided to read on the porch for awhile since the weather is nice. He set the little blue doll on the table next to his tea.
Meanwhile Dipper is making his way past Tyrone's house to go look around town for his doll. He turned his head to the sight of the Telepathy Tent. A ways further he could see a white painted manor with his reverse self sitting on the porch reading.
He saw tea on the small table beside Tyrone. Catching a glimpse of blue as well. "Wait a second. Isn't that..." Before Dipper knew it, his feet had moved towards the house. Getting closer to the house, the blue he saw turned out to be the blue doll of his mother.
He ran up to he porch where Tyrone had looked up at him at the sound of running. Both eyes stared into each other with inspection.
"Why do you have my doll?" Dipper questioned as he narrowed his eyes.
Tyrone's lips formed a smirk. "I just so happened to find it is all."
Dipper could sense the lie coming right off the words. A small growl coming from his parted lips. "Give it back you liar!"
Tyrone chuckled and raised his hand to freeze Dipper's movements. Dipper could see Tyrone's blue amulet glowing softly to show the use of magic. "Hmm I'll give it back to you, but only if you do something for me."
Dipper is ironically the demon here, so why was his human counterpart making the deals. He thought about his mother doll again. "Fine, what do you want?" He kinda wished Bill already taught him how to use his powers. The yellow demon only showed him how to summon things, possession wise.
"Spend the day with me."
Dipper didn't know if he heard right, but his reverse self just asked him to spend the day with him. "I'm sorry can you repeat that."
"I said, spend the day with me." Tyrone repeats his request. "I have the day off from work and it's fairly boring just staying here alone."
'I guess it's not that bad. Spending one day with this prick just to get back my doll.' He thought as he weighed his options like he did this morning. Dipper nodded, thus Tyrone released the young demon from his powers. He watched Tyrone attach the doll to one of his belt loops for safe keeping until later. "So what do you wanna do?"
"You can decided if you like. I'm sure you'd rather choose what we do than what I want." Tyrone to Dipper surprise was being somewhat considerate to him.
Dipper hummed and remembered a cafe he passed by yesterday while Gideon and Pacifica showed him around. "How does a cafe sound? I saw one while looking around with Gideon and Pacifica yesterday."
"Alright, I haven't even eaten breakfast yet." Tyrone replied as he starts walking next to Dipper off the porch. He left his tea and book on the porch table. Making a mental note to pick them up later or have Will get them.
Dipper smiled and grabbed Tyrone's hand, too happy to even notice his first mistake. "I haven't eaten breakfast either. The pastries they had inside looked really good." He started talking on and on about what he saw yesterday and the places he went to with the cousins from the Mystery Shack.
Tyrone always listened to Dipper's voice, he didn't find it annoying like the Southeast girl or disinteresting like the Pines boy. He would listen to the young demon's voice finding it soothing to hear.
None of them noticed how they were already at the cafe. When they did the both of them laughed a little before going inside. The walls were painted a dark shade of blue with white lines connecting to dots.
'A constellation cafe.' Tyrone thought as he looked around. It's his first time here, but he knew of the cafe because he passed the place a couple of times walking around the town. They went to the cashier and ordered their breakfast. Then they went and sat down by the corner near the windows.
That's when they noticed they were still holding hands, tightly too. They looked at each other and Dipper pull his hand away quickly with a rising blush on his cheeks. Tyrone looked away, he had a plan to keep going with to win. Although a small part of him, deep down, wished the they didn't let go of each other.
Dipper sat down across from Tyrone and finally looks around the cafe. He saw many familiar constellation he saw from the other night. He look at the ones next to him on the wall. By his side is the Little Dipper, coincidentally the Big Dipper is also by Tyrone.
Tyrone looked over at his opposite self as he chuckled looking at the constellations next to them. He rolled his eyes slightly amused. "Do you think it was on purpose?"
The light brunet shook his head, "Maybe not." He replied with a soft tone.
In a distracting way their eyes met each other. Getting lost within the colors their eyes held.
Dipper realizing what they were doing coughed awkwardly into his fist, and look away shyly from Tyrone.
Tyrone's mood lowers when their moment was cut. His gaze went to Dipper's other hand on the table. While Dipper was distracted he slid his hand over to hold his hand. "So tell me about yourself little Cipher."
Dipper blushed, the name calling catching him off guard. The feeling was welcomed as his cheeks turned slightly red. He hadn't thought of this before when Tyrone had suggested spending the day with him, but now he was considering this was like a date. 'It's too soon to think over this like a date right?' He mentally thought. "Well, that depends, what do you wanna know?"
"I thought you would be a Pines since you're my opposite. Can you explain why?" Tyrone asked curious to know. He remembered at the picnic he was only told Will is his mother, so he had to be a Cipher since he also recalled Dipper not telling him his last name.
"Truth be told, I was raised by the Pines family for twelve years. A month ago my real Father, Will's opposite self, showed up to bring me back home to the Nightmare Realm. My true origins being a demon." Dipper told the brunet who had now gone to rubbing his thumb lightly over the back of his hand. "Bill and Will Cipher are my parents."
"People do say opposites attract. They're an example of that type of love." Tyrone comments with a knowing look as if suggesting something to Dipper. What he didn't know himself is the fact he's been falling head over daggers for the young demon. "Don't you agree?"
Dipper smiles playfully at Tyrone and slowly slips his hand away from the warm hand. They both didn't like the loss for their own reasons, but their food was coming their way already. "I agree Tyrone. Even the most difficult types of love can come together to make the relationship work."
One of the employees set down their food and they ate their food. They talked in between bites while listening to each other. Tyrone so far thought his plan was working. He just had to win the young demon's favor. Make Dipper believe he likes him.
'If he was raised by the Pines Family back in his dimension, then he might as well have a soft heart like them.' He thought as he took another bite of his salad. Dipper talked to him about the Southeast girl and Pines boy. He kept up his mask of smiling as behind it was a frown at the mention of the two.
"It's kinda funny actually, I almost fell in love with the Pacifica back in my dimension." Dipper chuckled as he remembered the blond rich girl.
Tyrone hand starts to clench his hand into a fist under the table. "Oh really? Why so?"
"To be honest, I didn't like her at all at first, but after an incident at her house we kinda saw each other a little differently." Dipper takes another bite of his sandwich then chews.
The Gleeful twin thought about the word incident. Which led him to think about the accident last night. The kiss.
He narrowed his eyes remembering the kiss, thoughts falling into the feeling and so on. He just needed to use Dipper. That was all, nothing more.
Right?
