For Bill, it was nothing special. You two were messing around with Ted in the garage, playing with instruments, making good sounding noise, laughing at each other....

Then Ted picked up the camera and started recording the fun you all were having. It was casual, and he cherished the video of you having fun together.

There was a moment where you were so lost in a laugh that Bill had to take a breather to figure out that weird feeling in his chest and why he felt hot when it was generally cool outside.

Then he looked over at you and it all fell into place. The way you handled the instruments, the looks you'd been giving him....he wasn't sure if he should pass out our pounce on you, right then and there.

Then it all clicked somehow. He was in love.

He ran to you with a new light in his eyes, heart still fluttering madly, and he grabbed your face and pulled you into a long, lingering kiss.

"Bill, what was that for?!" You asked breathlessly.

"I just realized I'm in love with you, dude, and it feels amazing."

And you realized that you loved him, too.

Ted, however, was a softie. He liked you long before you gave him the time of day. And that was because you stood up for him.

It was indirect, more of a slap in the face to his dad than anything. You two were friends at the time, but more or less just the friends who text about last night's homework and nothing else.

Well, he was crushing hard, but you didn't know that.

But the moment fell into place when his dad was lecturing him very loudly in front of the school. Dumb jocks were snickering, and cheerleaders were making snide comments to each other.

"And that, Ted, is why you'll never be good at anything! You have these notions about being famous but look! Look at this! You're failing history, you're failing Chemistry! Honestly, how do you hope to amount to anything--"

You had seen enough. Pretending to ignore Mr. Logan, face redder than Ted's shirt, you walked up and tapped him on the shoulder.

"Hey, uh, Ted. Thanks for helping me out in gym today. You probably don't remember, but I was the one too scared to climb the rope. Uh... you're a really great guy and that meant a lot to me."

Don't push it, you had thought, but then you added, "a nice guy like you is really gonna change the world one day." You kissed him on the cheek really fast then scurried away, leaving Ted embarrassed but very pleased, and Mr. Logan at a loss for words.

And that was when Ted realized he really loved you. You ended up dating a week later.
