Dragons fly in the night sky,

Their fiery breath clashing with the black night,

The unicorns frolicking in the air,

Rapunzel stays up in her tower, reluctant to let down her hair.

The swords clash as the candle of peace begins to flicker,

And the kings and the queens fled the land out of fear,

Then you wake up to reality and then everything is clear.

Everyone leaves at the end no matter what time or year.

Everyone leaves at the end no matter how wonderful it is.

Hot red cheeks in the summer's sky,

Sweat drips onto the pillows like the ceremonies last goodbye,

The monster under the bed is a twisted friend,

The Shadow Man writes dark plays that no one comprehends.

The streets of madness and horror part in multicolored braids,

And the people that walk along it are as faceless as coins,

Then you wake up to reality and melancholy shoots your loins.
