Author's pov:

"No pets allowed?!" Mania's jaw dropped when she turned to look at Rise after looking at Charley Davidson. "Yes.. I see you haven't read all the information from there?" Charley sighed making the three women turn to look at each other. "I knew that a giant wolf like Lightning would cause some troubles but.. This.." Paris sighed while Rise jumped down from the wolf's back.

"What should we do now?" She asked while petting the wolf's jaw. "There's no button on him that makes him smaller?" Vinnie suggested while looking at the animal. "Small like a Chihuahua eh? Did you mean that Vinnie?" Modo grinned with Throttle while Rise's eyebrow started twitching again. "Do you know that you have a tic in your eyebrow?" Vinnie said but it was too late for him to cover himself.

Avatar Rise walked to him and slapped straight across his face with her hand. "Ouch!!" Vinnie took a couple of steps back. "What was that for?!" He grunted but the Avatar just glared at him. "Ask that again and I'll slap you again.. Or maybe give Lightning some lunch.." She grinned but then noticed that Throttle didn't like her words at all. He walked straight to her and growled.

"Enough!! You might be the almighty Avatar but you don't treat my bros like that! Is that clear?!" He growled while looking down at the women under his specs. She twisted her nose and looked down at the ground. "Yes.." She growled but then faced the male's eyes. "You might be the leader of your group but watch who you are talking to!" She hissed back as the male's surprise and poked the male's chest before turning her back to him and walking back to the wolf and her friends, who were actually smirking with each other, leaving the male pick his jaw up from the ground while Vinnie, Modo and Charley were chuckling at him.

"Good try, bro.." Vinnie laughed while they were watching the Avatar lifting her friends on that wolf's back by lifting some ground up with her earthbending powers. "Seems like you aren't the only Alpha here anymore.." Modo grinned making Throttle roll his eyes before he walked back inside the Garage, Vinnie following right behind him and joking about what had happened.

"So.. Do you guys have any plans so far?" Charley asked while walking to the wolf with Modo carefully. She let the animal sniff her too while Rise checked it was okay. "He's okay with you guys.. And sorry Modo that he attacked you.." She sighed making the gray furred male smile and nod at her. "No harm taken.. But don't take Throttle's acts in a bad way.." He started but then Charley smirked while petting the wolf's nose.

"Yeah.. He hasn't gotten used to seeing strong natured women here.." She explained making Modo laugh. "No-one except Carbine has shown him his place.." Modo smiled making Charley smile too. "Carbine? Who's that?" Mania said while sitting behind Paris who sat behind Rise on the Lightning's back.

"Umm.." Charley bit her lip and looked Modo, waiting for him to answer. But since neither of them said anything in a while, Paris counted one plus one before sighing deeply after seeing that the Avatar had done it too. "Hey! What about the Scoreboard?" Modo said suddenly while changing the subject, making Paris turn to look at Mania when they noticed that. The Black haired woman shrugged making the blonde look disappointed. "Scoreboard?" Rise lifted her other eyebrow while Charley got Modo's point. "Yes! It's the males other hideout when they aren't bunking here.. There should be enough space for Lightning to hide!" She explained but Rise shook her head.

"I can't leave him alone.. But I'm definitely not getting him back to harbor either!" She said but got a poke from the princess, who she glared back to. "No! I'm not letting him go once I have just got him back!!" She growled. "We can pack your stuff and bring it to the scoreboard.." Mania suggested but then Paris grunted. "Why shouldn't we all just go there?! A Perfect place for a princess!" She whined, making Charley laugh. "Where else could you hide a wolf that big? This is a city, not a forest.." She said, making Rise's eyes widened.

"A Forest?! Is there one near here?!" She said, making Charley nod. "Yes.. Just continue going North where Quigley Field is.. There's even a protected area! I'm sure you can let Lightning be there too if the Scoreboard gets too small.." Charley suggested making Rise nod. "Thank you! We'll get our.. At least mine stuff out of that rat hole and go there.. Is it surely okay if you hide there too?" Rise asked while Modo was being sniffed by the wolf. The Animal was curious about those new creatures he had never seen before.

"Sure! I'll explain that to bros, but I'm sure they have nothing against it!" He said before they said goodbyes to the three new women who left for Uncle Jack's place. Or.. Rise dropped Mania and Paris there before she headed to Quigley Field to hide Lightning there already while riding on the black wolf's back.

"You did what?!" Throttle turned to look at the gray furred male while trying to not choke on his hot dog. "Why is that a problem now? They are helping us, we need to help them.. I'm sure our groups will get along just fine! You said that too, remember?" Modo said before starting to eat too. "And we needed to change the subject somewhere else from Carbine.." Charley explained making the commander start coughing again.

"Why were you even talking about her with them?" He tried to act like he didn't care but he surely cared. "Didn't mean to.. Sorry bro.." Modo sighed but the tan furred male just got up from the table, leaving some food not eaten, but that was fast fixed by Vinnie who already continued to finish his food. "What's with you all of a sudden?" Modo asked, making the male turn around from the doorway.

"I thought I could trust at least you!!" He growled but then saw Vinnie smirking. "He's just at a crossroads with his feelings.. Don't know if he should continue with the General or take a look at the Avatar.." He grinned while taking a sip from his bottle of root beer. "No I'm not!!" The Commander shouted and left the room, leaving the white furred male grinning proudly since he had been right, while Charley sighed and Modo rolled his eyes. Soon they heard the sound of a growling motorcycle before they saw Throttle driving away.

"Should have we told him that they went there right away?" Modo said, making Vinnie start laughing. "Vinnie! That's not fun! You know how much Carbine means to him.." Charley glared at the white furred male. "He has a thing for highly rated females, we all know it.." He said, making them roll their eyes and nod. "He's screwed.." Modo sighed deeply while leaning against his hands and regretting that he might have caused some mess to his bro, and he didn't like that at all.

"I'm not into that woman.. I could never be.. I already have a few things to solve with Carbine.. Screw those blabber mouths! Always have their tails in other's business.. And Charley-girl doesn't even have a tail!" Throttle growled while driving fast along the streets of Chicago. He didn't have a plan where he was driving, but soon he noticed that he had entered Quigley Field already. "Damn those guys.. They know me too well.." He thought out loud while parking his bike right under the scoreboard. Then he noticed that it was too quiet to have a giant wolf there. "Seems like they haven't come yet.. Good.. I can get a few things from here and leave before they come.." He said while walking into their hideout.

Meanwhile at the Uncle Jack's place

"Are you sure about this plan, Ri-Ri?" Mania asked while helping her friend to back her stuff. "Yes.. I knew that having him here would make some things difficult, but I have got used to living in nature too.. It was your choice to come with me.. So deal with the consequences.." She said while stuffing her clothes into her luggage.

"How are you going to carry that thing on his back? You should have brought a backpack.." Mania asked while handing her another pair of shoes. "Is everything alright, Mania? You always call me 'Ri-Ri' when you are nervous or there's something else wrong?" Rise asked but then Mania got an idea while looking at her own belongings, clearly trying to avoid the subject. "Do you want to swap mine? I can handle luggage better than you.." She suggested making the Avatar turn to look at her. "Are you sure?" She said and got a nod from her. She had also noticed that she didn't answer her question either. Maybe she should try to ask that later again.. "Thanks! That would help a lot!" She said before turning her luggage all over, making her stuff fall on her bed.

"Rise!! Don't treat your clothes like that, you'll ruin them!" Paris gasped after walking out of their bedroom. She had been there to get Rise's stuff from there. Her reaction made the Avatar and the weapon master just laugh while they swapped the luggage and the backpack before packing all their stuff again.

"Are you sure you'll be fine without us?" Paris asked when they got back outside. "Yes I am.. But we'll meet each other everyday.. I'll just bunk and hide my baby there.." She said before whistling loudly, making the two of the women lift their hands on their ears. "There you are buddy!" Rise smiled and petted the wolf that had run to her after hiding behind in a carport that was still a bit small to him.

"'Baby'.." Mania chuckled while looking at the two meter tall black wolf. "See you guys in a couple of hours!" Rise said before climbing to sit on the wolf's back. "We'll go get my weapons before that and then let's go check the city then!" Mania said, making Paris and Rise nod to him. After that the Avatar left and headed her way to Quigley Field where Charley and Modo had suggested she hide her animal guide. On their way they scared a lot of citizens by jumping over the cars.

"Sorry!!" Rise shouted every time they were about to cause a car crash or two. She had a hard time concentrating since the jet lag was still trying to hit her. She had barely slept in the plane, while her friends had slept like babies, and now she was supposed to start their mission already! Now she had arrived faster than she had expected right there to Quigley Field, only by Charley's explanations where it was. She didn't see Throttle's motorcycle when they found their way to the scoreboard hideout that Modo had told her.

"This will do just fine! Right, my boy?" Rise said while walking in. She saw a basketball basket there with a bunk bed and a hammock. Not forgetting some fast food boxes all around the flooring with some junk and board games that were unpacked and messing up the place. "I see some males have been living here.. Or if asked to Paris, this would be like my room too.." She laughed when the wolf licked her face making her pat him again.

"I should get another map next probably.. There's that Michigan lake near here.. Maybe I can get some fish for you there since I guess there ain't many other options to get proper meat in the city.. Maybe there would be some in those huge stores but I would probably lose myself in them.." Rise thought out loud while the wolf cleaned a place for him to lay down with his tail, almost whipping the whole place out of the ground at the same time.

"Seems like the Avatar isn't as wise as I thought?" She heard someone saying right behind her back making her scream and turn around while preparing her fist to punch the unexpected visitor. But to her surprise he grabbed her by her wrist and pulled her closer. That made her lean backwards too fast as she had meant, which made the comer fall down right on her when she fell on her back on the ground. Following a thud when they fell.

"Throttle?!" Rise gasped when she saw the tan furred male laying right on her. "What are you screaming at?! I'm not deaf.. yet, you know!" He growled making the woman start growling at him too. Meanwhile the wolf had started sleeping after a long trip. He didn't count the mice or Charley as a threat anymore since he was very good at reading Rise's body language and her tone in her voice.

"What are you even doing here?!" Rise said while trying to sit up, but managed to kick the male straight to his groin making him fall down on her again after trying to get up too. "S-Sorry.." Rise blushed while trying to look away the whining male who held his critical parts that had just been hurt.

"Are you trying to get rid of the new generation of the Martians too? Is that why you are really h-here?" The Male groaned while leaning a bit forward, but soon he noticed that he was now leaning against the Avatar's chest, making the Avatar blush even more while he started to blush too. "Don't mind moving your head away either, smart mouth.." Rise chuckled making the male cough and get up fast.

"Modo and Charley told me that I could hide Lightning in here.. But if it's not okay with you I can take him elsewhere.." Rise said while swiping her pants clean after getting up. "No.. I mean I know why you are here.. I was just joking.. But I meant the city, not only this hideout.." Throttle said while turning his head away. "You? Joking?" The Woman chuckled making the male chuckle too while his back was still facing the woman.

"Then.. Why did you come? I thought you had gotten angry at me at some point.." Rise said while walking in front of the male. "Angry? To you? Why would I?" He gulped while looking at her. She was almost half head shorter than him, even shorter than Carbine, the black haired Martian general that had got his full-time attention so far. So far.. Until now..

"About that how I treated your bro, Vinnie.." She said while turning her head away, to look at the ground again. "Oh that.. It's just.. I.." Throttle gulped and rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly. "Just spit it out! It's okay if you hate me!! I just can't stand a man who doesn't have their spine in its rightful place!" Rise turned back to him and hissed him while looking straight into his eyes.

But then happened something that neither of them had expected.. Throttle lifted his hand to the back of her neck and pulled her against him before he pressed his lips against hers making her eyes totally widened.

"Oh that's why you had an urgent need to come here.." They heard Vinnie grinning, making them separate fast while blushing. They turned around to see him leaning against the doorway, arms crossed, a leg over the other and his tail swinging as a sign of curiosity.
