"Should we check if everything's alright with them or what?" Modo wondered while sitting round the kitchen table with Vinnie, Stoker and Charley. It was the next morning and the Avatar with her friends hadn't come back after they had left yesterday. And Throttle and Carbine were still upstairs after they had discussed their relationship through last night.

"I'm not sure if I want to witness that being-back-together ceremony.." Vinnie grinned while taking a bite from his morning hot dog. "I think Modo's right.. What if there's a body upstairs.." Charley said while turning to look at the roof while swirling a spoon in her morning cup of coffee. "Which one do you think it would be?" Stoker chuckled before taking a sip from his cup of coffee.

"Neither of us.." Throttle said when he entered the kitchen after the black haired general. "Wow! Seeing your hair.. I think I was right! Had a rough night?" Vinnie grinned when they all turned to look at them. "As rough as it can be while breaking up.." Carbine growled before sitting next to Charley who started to prepare her a cup of tea.

"Thank you.." She said before drinking it. "You two.. broke up?" Modo asked when Throttle sat next to him. "Yea.. We talked things through and ended up, that would be the only solution.." He said while whipping his tail lazily before taking a hotdog from a plate to eat it. "I'm so sorry.." Charley said while gently rubbing Carbine's arm. "I thought you two would be together forever.." Stoker said but got a glare from his niece.

"Well.. Sorry to disappoint you for not being the perfect couple.. But on another topic, we should get to our mission, we don't have much time to be here.." Carbine said but then Vinnie talked. "But if you two broke up.. What on Mars did you two do up there the whole night?" He said while looking at both of them. "Not your business, Vincent.. But we were just sleeping.." Throttle said but his bros saw from his face that he hadn't slept at all that night. Neither was Carbine but she hid it better. Even if they had tried to just sleep there for the last time together, neither of them had managed to fall asleep because of their thoughts.

"Well now you made me more confused.." Vinnie said but felt a cold, mechanical slap to his tail under the table, and next saw Stoker's glare at him. "Umm.. About the mission then.." He tried to change the subject while they were eating their breakfast. But before anyone could say anything to that, they saw the black wolf running past the kitchen window.

"Couldn't be more bad timing.." Throttle sighed deeply but then they heard a door opening from the garage, just before Mania and Paris ran inside and straight away to the kitchen. "Is Rise here?!" They shouted while clearly panicking and panting heavily. "No? Why? Wasn't she with you guys, since you left the scoreboard after her text?" Charley asked when they all turned to look at them.

"She was! We talked.. But.. In the morning when we woke up, she wasn't there anymore!!" Mania explained making the trio turn to look at each other. "Why don't you just use Lightning to find her? I heard he has a high sense of smell.." Throttle asked before drinking his root beer. "No shit, commander? You really think we didn't try that since we have known her for years!" She growled but soon felt the princess' hand on her shoulder.

"Why don't you two just take seats and have some breakfast while telling everything?" Stoker said while drinking his coffee. But he could feel a cold stare which made him regret his words. "The Avatar is missing and you think we should just sit down and eat! Did you get your title from a box of cereals?!" Paris raised her voice, making them all surprised before Vinnie chuckled, but got another slap from the mechanical tail which made him move his tail away from under the table.

"Where did you last see her?" Charley asked while looking at them. Mania sat down next to Stoker who made some space for them, even if he had thought Paris was sitting next to him, which made Vinnie grin after seeing his expression. "Last night.. When we all went to sleep at the scoreboard.. We moved there yesterday too since Uncle Jack had gotten some not so nice feedback about Lightning hanging around there a couple of times when Rise picked and left us there.." Paris explained while sitting next to Throttle where there were separated seats while at the other side of the table was a bench.

"So when you woke up, she was gone?" Modo said, making them nod. "If that creature has a good sense of smell, how come he didn't smell her?" Carbine asked even if she didn't actually care about the Avatar at all for specific reasons. "We thought that too but we actually had no idea.. That's why we headed here if she might be here.." Paris said before sighing worriedly. "Or if any of you had seen her.." She continued while looking at Throttle who shook his head before taking another bite.

"Even if she left to the spirit world, her body would still be here.. But she had never done that before, so I don't think she would still be able to do that.." Mania said, making everyone other than Paris turn to look at her with very confused expressions. "Spirit world?" Vinnie asked and didn't understand anything they had just said.

"From those many talents of Evien.." Stoker said while drinking his coffee. "Stop your nonsense about that Evien thing, she's the Avatar and we need to find her now!" Mania shouted but got a glare from Carbine which made her glare and growl back at her. "Evien? You really think she would be her?!" Carbine turned to look at her uncle who nodded back to her.

"Great.. Bloody great.." She sighed deeply and got up from the table before walking away. "You can explain our mission to the commander.. I need to breathe.." She said before leaving, which made Throttle's ears drop down while looking at his plate. He drank his root beer but lost his appetite. But his part of the food didn't get thrown away since Vinnie stuffed it into his mouth.

"How come you know about the spirit world part?" Paris asked while turning to look at the general. "Maybe not how you know it.. But Evien is known about connecting with deceased, being able to talk to them like the ones that are still living" He explained but Mania shook her head. "It's not like that.. That's not Avatar thing.." She said but then heard a door closing at the garage.

"Avatar is able to connect their Avatar spirit since being the incarnation of light and peace. It's Avatar's duty to keep balance in the world by the bending powers.. But the Avatar can go to the spirit world to look for guidance too, and talk with their past lives" She continued even if it wasn't sure did anyone understand it except her and Paris even a bit since they had had to study it in the Tribe.

"But when Avatar goes into the spirit world, the body stays here and it can not be moved so the spirit can return to it.. So since her body wasn't here, she might haven't gone there.." Paris explained, but while Charley looked horrified, Vinnie looked like he understood nothing.

"Where else would she be if Lightning couldn't find her?" Throttle said while looking at them. "You tell us! You messed up with her feelings and if I had to guess, she would have gone to the spirit world to ask guidance for the mess you made, but since she hasn't got to know how to do that.." Mania said while crossing her arms and glaring at the tan furred male.

"Would there be any way to go to the spirit world along with the body?" Modo asked, making Paris nod. "Only through the Spirit portal, but none of the three known portals are even close to here.." She said, making them all start to think. "Is there some kind of swamp or any kind of natural place where she would have gone? She might try to look for any powerful place that's in nature.." Mania asked, but then Throttle got up fast.

"I think I have an idea where she might be.." He said while already heading to the garage, with the others following him right behind. "Where?" Vinnie asked, but didn't like the answer he gave to him. "At our secret beach.. She found me there by the wolf's nose, sorry bros.." He said but then Modo patted his back and smiled understandingly while Vinnie growled that their peaceful place was now known by the others too.

At the secret beach

Throttle was right, Rise had truly gone there before the Sun had even risen. She had walked a long to get there since she had left Lightning to the scoreboard with her friends. Even if she had been there just once already, she had felt something strong there. And that had been nothing more than spiritual connection.

"Why I just can't do it.. Is it because of the elements that I still can't bend.." Rise sighed deeply and sadly while kicking some sand around. She had taken her combat boots off and rolled her pants up to her knees to walk at the waterline. She gently bent the waves to go along with her while thinking about everything she had gone through in a short time period. She had thought about them in the scoreboard too, but it hadn't actually been any help..

She had never thought about going through things like these, even if she had to admit that she didn't know at all what would have been waiting for her here in a bigger continent when she left the North. Now for the first time, she felt actually homesick, but not for her home in the North. She actually felt homesick to her cultures that were dying. If there was even one person who would know what she was going through there, at being the only bender left in the world, she would do anything for that..

"I see the all mighty Avatar can feel sadness too.." She heard someone saying which made her turn around immediately. "Carbine? What are you doing here?" She asked when she saw the general walking towards her. She had left the Last Chance to talk with her while the others were still wondering where she would be. That gave them time to talk alone. "I came to talk to you.. Stoker said you were willing to do that too.." She said, making her nod. "How did you even find me?" She asked, but got a chuckle as an answer before the general turned to look at the lake.

"You know.. Your friends might be sassy and cocky to say that my uncle got his title from a cereal box! But I got mine from honest work" She said while turning to look at the Avatar who had stopped bending the waves. She just looked at her with a confused expression before chuckling about what she had just said about her friends. "It's not that hard to find you.. Especially when I just shared a connection with Throttle and saw you two being here yesterday.." She explained, making her turn around.

"So.. You came to tell me that you two are back together and swagger around that you slept together.. Congrats I guess.." She said while looking at the Michigan lake too. The Part of the beach that was secret from anyone that didn't know it was actually there, was hidden behind huge walls of rock. The Biker Mice had accidentally found the place once when Limburger was about to steal some land near it. And after that they had used it as their very own secret place, which they didn't have too much here on Earth.

"Swagger? Uhh.. No.. I didn't come because of that.. Actually me and Throttle broke up.." Carbine said while sitting down on the sand. Her words made the Avatar turn around to look at her. "You did?" She said and got a nod as an answer. "Sorry, I didn't mean to do that! Gosh I'm the worst Avatar ever.. I'm supposed to bring balance to the world but instead of that I got a couple to break up.." Rise sighed while squatting down and lifting her hands on her head.

"Well.. I'm not saying I don't blame you.. But let's say that we had other problems before you even came here.. But what I wanted to talk with you, was also that I saw in his mind that he cares about you.. Not only because I have known him for many years, but also that.. During these few days he felt something he never felt with me.. And we were together for many years.." She said, making her more surprised. "What?" She said while getting up and walking to her.

"That you need to find out for yourself.. I guess you know already that Martian mice are known for their loyalty.. They are more loyal than humans.." The General explained while nodding to her it was okay to sit next to her. "I do.. But there are still many things I don't know.. Especially what comes to be the Avatar.." She sighed deeply and leaned against her knees to hide her face.

"Umm.. Maybe I'm not the best person to guide you or even to give advice.. Not only because I shot you earlier.. But also that I don't know much about your stuff. And yes, Stoker blabbers around that you are the Evien, but I honestly don't believe that.." She said while looking at the waves.

"You don't? And was that an apology about shooting me?" Rise said, making the general chuckle. "No, I would do it again to be honest.." She said, making her laugh and nod. "I can see why.." She said but then let her continue. "Evien is saint for us.. A thing you call God in here.. Something that's so holy you can't even describe.. I just simply can't believe that our Goddess would be a human.. And if thought personally, my ego wouldn't accept that I lost male to our Goddess.." She said while drawing something to sand with her fingers. It was actually writing, but it looked like drawing to Rise's eyes since she had never seen Martian language written.

"I see.. And I don't blame you for that.. I honestly don't believe that either.. But do you know why her name is Evien? Because we have a word 'Avian' here which means birds, and 'Evien' isn't far from that.." She asked, making her chuckle. "Well sorry if I don't know much about Martian culture.. I don't think my past lives did either!" She said but the general shook her head.

"It's not that.. I just realized too that maybe we aren't that far from each other.. I mean.. Evien is actually called like that because of her looks and the ability of flying.. One of her nicknames is a bird lady if said in an Earthen language.." She explained before both of them were quiet for a moment. She just continued writing something which Rise found very interesting.

"May I ask what you are drawing?" She said while looking at the sand. "Writing actually.. In Martian.." She said, making her a bit surprised. "Oh.. I never thought it would look that beautiful! Even if I had no clue about how it would look like.. What does it say?" She asked but got a chuckle again from her. "Thanks, but actually it's not your business at all.. I was just emptying my heart.. And brains.." She said before messing up the spot where she had written something. After that she got up and cleaned her pants from the sand.

Rise just left the topic since the general wasn't actually arguing with her. She had come to talk with her peacefully which made her a bit happy even if the whole situation was horrible after all. "I know it's not my business still but how are you feeling? You know I'm really sorry for what happened.. If I knew he was taken already I.." She said but got a glare from the female.

"First, stop lying at once.. I saw in his mind and I know what you have gone through.. You knew about me but still continued making up with him.. But I don't blame you alone like I said earlier.. We had our problems with Throttle and it takes two make out.." She said, making the Avatar nod and turn to look down.

"Secondly.. Even if me and Throttle aren't together anymore.. I'd like to know what your intentions are for him.. Not as his ex but also as one of Mars' generals.." She said almost coldly. "I'm not a threat to Mars, if you think that! But I have told Throttle many times already that we don't know each other much yet.. So I don't actually have an answer for your question.. For now, I found him really attractive and I'm interested in him.. But my duty as the Avatar comes first, did I want it or not.. It's not my fault the universe made me to be one, and believe me, it's a heck of a crisis to go through in your head after realizing you are last of your kind!" She explained, making the general nod to her.

"I don't say I understand you.. Not at all.. But I can just guess it must be hard to do all of that alone without anyone to teach you" The Black haired general said while seeing her looking at the waves. "I don't need your pity.. I can manage.." She said but got a chuckle from her which made her turn to look at her again. "I don't pity you.. Why would I after what happened?" She smirked, making her chuckle too.

"You know.. If things didn't go messy with Throttle.. I think we would have been quite good friends.." Rise smirked, making the general laugh. "Oh please! Tell me something I don't already know!" She said, making both of them start laughing now. But when the Avatar waterbend some water on her face, she growled playfully before they started to run at the waterline while she tried to throw some water on the Avatar while she just easily waterbent them back.

"I don't know if they are fighting or are they actually having.. fun?" Vinnie said when the group finally arrived between the rocks that had a small opening, one bike at a time since it was so tight. "I'm not sure if I want to know either, but how did that wolf come here in the first place?" Stoker said after all except Mania, Paris and Lightning had come to the secret beach. But just after he had made that question, they saw the giant wolf jumping over the wall of rocks, the girls right on his back.

"Right.. Of course.. Why am I not actually even surprised.." The General rolled his eyes, making the others start to laugh. "Guys.. I see Rise is playing around, but what's that?" Mania said and pointed towards the lake. There was some kind of pillar of light and darkness storming up like it was an actual thunder storm over there, far at the Michigan Lake.

"I don't know but I wouldn't be surprised to see the Old Cheese Face trying to do something stupid again" Modo chuckled while they were looking at the pillar. "Hey Rise! Come over here!!" Vinnie tried to shout at them but they were too far. "Oh let him.." Paris laughed after she and Mania had gotten down the wolf's back. She snapped her fingers once, making the wolf bark loudly. That made the Avatar stop running and turn around with the general.

"Clever.. But what a swagger.." Vinnie rolled his eyes, making the princess giggle at him which made him blush a bit. "What are you all doing here?" Rise asked while putting her combat boots back on after wearing her socks that she had stuffed inside them before walking to the water. "To see if we find any dead bodies over here.. Is everything alright?" Stoker said, making Carbine chuckle and nod. "Sorry to interrupt this nice gathering together with exes, new besties and all, but that thing is actually coming closer!" Vinnie said while pointed at the lake.

"What thing? Oh.." Rise said while turning to look around. Carbine's eyes widened when she saw the pillar now too. "What is that?!" She turned to look at the guys who shrugged at her. "We thought it was the Avatar or the Old Cheese Face.." Throttle said but Rise shook her head. "I didn't do that.. But I do sense something around here.. I sensed it when I came here the first time.." She said, but then saw Charley looking at her nervously.

"Whatever you sensed, if we don't do anything, that thing comes straight to us!" She said when they turned to look at the pillar again. It really was moving and coming closer to them. "I'll try to stop it, you guys be ready to leave this place!" She said and ran back to the waterline, but soon felt someone's hand on her shoulder.

"Throttle.. It's not a good moment for us to talk.. I heard Carbine already, but you need to go now!" She said but he shook his head. "You are not doing that alone" He growled but she slapped his hand away. "Oh shut it! You really think you would stop that thing? You might be heroic and all but I'm the only bender here!" She said and then started waterbending some water around the pillar, but when the commander was about to say something and the bent waves of water was about to surround the pillar.. It disappeared..

"What just happened?" Paris asked when they all looked at the Michigan Lake with confused expressions. It looked completely calm again after Rise had stopped bending. "Did you do it this fast?!" Vinnie asked when Rise and Throttle slowly walked back to them while still looking at the lake. "I didn't even manage to touch it.. It just.." She wondered and was truly shocked too.

"Disappeared.." Throttle continued while lifting his hand on her back. Stoker growled at him after seeing Carbine turning to look down at the ground after seeing that too. "Whatever it was, I hope it won't come back!" Charley said while gently petting the black wolf. "I can go there to check it out.." Rise said after stepping away from Throttle's reach.

"No you don't! You are not going there alone!" He growled at him but soon heard Carbine talking. "I remember someone saying that we would still need our whole army against her and still would lose.. Or how did you put it out, Throttle?" She said before smiling at the Avatar for the first time. She chuckled and smiled back at her while the male just growled at them.

"Seems like whoever woman or female you choose, you will always be under one's thumb!" Vinnie laughed, making all of them laugh except Throttle who rolled his eyes before chuckling a bit too. "Talking of which.. What's the situation now? I see these two come along which is an honest miracle.. But" Mania said, making Rise turn to look at the male too who sighed deeply before answering.

"Well.. I.. I have made up my mind.." He said while looking at all of them. Meanwhile Lightning turned to look back at the lake again while sniffing the air. He was definitely smelling something while deeply under the water, something was making it swirl around in a certain spot like there was that thunder storm under the surface..
