"Evien?" Rise asked, one eyebrow raised when she looked at the Silver star general. "Yes.. And seriously meeting you made me a lot happier now.. Our home now has a much bigger chance to survive!" He said while looking at the Avatar. "Even your dog proves us that too! The Legend says.." He started but then Vinnie interrupted him. "It tells about the woman's demonical creature.. Which with she travels around to help those who need to be helped!" He said, making Modo nod at him.

"Dog? A DOG?!" Rise growled and pointed at her animal guide with her both hands. "For my past lives' sake!! That's a wolf. WOLF!!! With antennas like yours you should remember it.." She snorted and crossed her arms. "So you've seen what we can do with these?" The General said, making Vinnie answer for her. "Yea! Throttle showed to all who were are, where we are from and what happened to them since.. Well you know.. I'm not good at that and Modo still needs some practice too.." He explained making Stoker roll his eyes and chuckle.

"I wouldn't even let you handle any of those dump sand raiders or even noodles.. You would make them even worse.." He said making the white furred male just chuckle awkwardly. "But I need to talk to Throttle about that.." He said and then turned to look around. The Others did it too but only to see the commander wasn't there anymore.

"He was just there.. Where did he go?!" Rise said but then saw Vinnie and Modo looking at each other the way they knew where he would be. "Scoreboard?" She asked but they shook their heads without telling her where he was. But in the corner of her eye she also saw Charley walking back inside, maybe she was going to check the female general.

"Gosh this is a heck of a mess.. But Mars? An Evien? How so.." She sighed deeply while walking to pet Lightning. "Do you really expect her to go to Mars with you?" Mania asked after checking if it was okay for her and Paris to take a part in the conversation. "Yes? Why do you make that sound weird or a miracle?" Stoker said while turning to look at them, but when he saw Paris, he smirked which made Vinnie and Modo growl at the same time while glaring at the general.

"Me? To Mars?! How, why, what?!" Rise turned back to them, her eyes widened. "Yes.. There's no need to doubt that you wouldn't be Evien.. You are expected to come with us to Mars" General said determinedly while looking at her. "You are not going to steal her from us!! I don't care if you are a general or what! You won't take her away from us!!" Paris started to shout while stepping in front of the general. He just smirked and leaned down since she was way shorter than him.

"Touch her and I'll make sure you need another mechanical part too to your body.." Mania growled but the general ignored her completely. "Guys behave.. I don't want to have a war between Earth and Mars.. As the Avatar I have to help.." Rise said while stepping forward.

"But Rise..?! Mars is completely another planet!!" Paris started to panic but then felt a warm breath near her, which made her turn around only to see Stoker way too close to her. She screamed and slapped his face quite hard. "You are cute, Your Highness.. And I like those kinds of females or women.. Even if you have quite a rough touch.. Not bad!" Stoker grinned but then felt someone tapping his shoulders. After seeing Vinnie's and Modo's glares made him growl and take a step back from the princess.

"I know that Paris.. But listen to me now, I wasn't finished yet.." Rise said and then walked to Stoker, Lightning following right behind her nicely. "I appreciate your words, General Stoker.. And I'm willing to help Mars too, but you need to understand that I'm not yet fully finished my path being the Avatar.. I can't yet control all the elements, so that also means I just can't go to Mars yet.." She said formally while bowing to him which made not only him, but also the others a bit surprised too. She bowed him the same way as she did to Throttle and Charley once, she had her other hand in a fist and another open against it.

While Vinnie and Modo turned to look at each other again, Stoker nodded to her formally, almost bowing too. "I see what he sees in her.. Sad for Carbine though.. But I have to respect Throttle's decision too.." Stoker thought to himself before answering her. "You are a natural leader.. Like some of us here too" He said, making Vinnie and Modo grin at each other since they got what he had meant. "But I didn't expect you to come with us right now. I'd hope if you think about coming with us to Mars someday when you are ready.. Mars has waited for all these years and since you are really real, seen and found, I think we can wait a bit more too.." He continued but then turned to Paris. "And by our spaceship, Princess.." He said, making her glare at him. "I didn't read your mind even if I'd be curious to know you more honestly.. But I saw your question from your expression.." He said, making her blush a bit and nod to him.

"We'd do nothing with you now, if you are not ready yet.. Practicing here would be a lot easier for you, which I clearly understand" Stoker said and then smiled at the males. "But seems like there's another job for the Punks too, to protect you.." He said, making the Avatar nod at him while she climbed to sit on the black wolf's back. "Thank you.. But for now.. I think I should go somewhere to organize my thoughts.." She sighed deeply. "Do you want us to come too?" Mania asked but she shook her head.

"No need.. But give me one of the phones, I'll call if there's need" She said and soon Mania threw hers to her which she caught fast. "Thanks! And General.." She turned to him again. "Just call me Stoker, alright. But yes?" He said, making her rub the back of her neck awkwardly. "Would you please tell General Carbine that I'd change a few words with her?" She said, making the others surprised again. "I will.. We'll be here for a couple of days for our mission so you'll even have time to get bored of us!" He laughed, making Vinnie smirk. "Only if we don't see another female fight.." He whispered to Modo but got a slap to his arm from the general's mechanical tail. "Ouch!" He said before ended up walking back inside with the others when Rise left with Lightning.

"How are you feeling?" Charley asked when she stepped inside the quest room where she found Carbine standing right there at the window to look out of it. After the mechanic closed the door behind her, the general moved her ears as a sign of hearing before she turned around to see her friend.

"Carbine.. I'm so sorry.." Charley sighed deeply when she saw her. She had been crying all this time in the room, and it could be clearly seen from her face. Her eyes were redder than normal and her fur on her cheeks were damp.

"I haven't ever felt this horrible.. And it's a lot to say if you think about the situation on Mars.." Carbine said before sitting down on the bed. Charley nodded and walked to sit next to her. "It's not your fault Charley.. Only Throttle and that woman are responsible for this.." She sobbed and took a tissue she gave her. "Thanks.." She sighed and tried to take a deep breath but ended up crying again.

"Just let it all out.. I'll help even if it doesn't feel like that now.." Charley said while gently petting her back trying to help her to calm down and support her. "I loved him from the bottom of my heart and he tore it apart just like that!!" She cried while whipping her tears to the tissue. "What I know about him.. He didn't mean to do that, even if I know that probably doesn't help.." Charley sighed while looking down at the floor.

"Not at all.. But is it her fault then? I believe you.. Tell me the truth, Charley.. You are my only human friend and only one I can trust here on Earth so far!" She sobbed and turned to look at her. "They have actually just met.. A few days ago.." Charley said, and wasn't sure was it really a good idea to tell her but she also knew that they shouldn't lie to each other. And she would find it out anyway.

"A few days ago?!" Carbine gasped and got up from the edge of the bed. "He threw away all the years we had just for some sudden girl he just met?! No.. I'm not buying that!!" She wasn't sure if she was panicking or what but she was breathing heavily. "Carbine, stop.. You are hyperventilating. Try to breathe calmly.. Take deep breaths" Charley said but that made her only cry even more. She was in shock about what had happened. And showing her feelings like that was new even for her since as a general in her job it wasn't that appropriate to show them on duty.

"Breathe calmly?! In a situation like this? Charley, with all appreciation I have towards you.. Don't talk bullshit to me.." She growled, but before either of them managed to say anything, they heard a knock from the door. Then it slowly opened and Stoker's head peaked in.

"Bullshit? Since when have you been talking like Earthen human?" He said before stepping in the room. "Maybe after hearing my male had decided to change me to an Earthen woman he met a few days ago!!" She growled, making him sigh deeply. "Geez.. I thought he would be more trustworthy.." Stoker said while rubbing the back of his head.

"Oh please.. You are not the only one.." Carbine snorted while walking back to look out of the window. "You can't blame only Throttle for this.." Charley said while getting up and walking to the doorway after Stoker had walked inside the room. "Believe me.. I'm not.. She ruined everything.." Carbine growled before sneezing on the tissue. "Carbine.. You know that's not true.. Rise from all is innocent about this.." Stoker said making Charley now lift her other eyebrow.

"Sweetheart, you are not the only one who's confused now.." Vinnie said, making all of them turn around to see him and Modo peeking from the doorway. "Great.. Just what I needed.. All of you eavesdrop on me.." Carbine said and turned her back to them. "My apologies, Carbine ma'am.. But we were looking for Charley and couldn't just unhear what you guys were talking about.." Modo sighed but then Vinnie talked. "Yea! And especially if there's something more in this! You can't just blame our bro about everything! And of course we got his back especially when he's not here now to defend himself.." He said, making the black haired general turn around again.

"He isn't? Where is he?" She asked, but they just shook their heads. "Spit it out or I'll tie you to a chair and search through your brains!" She growled but then heard a growl from her uncle. "Sorry.. I.. I just.. I can't just stop loving him in a second.. What he did hurt me a lot.. And I don't know how to deal with my feelings and everything right now.." She sighed deeply. "That's okay.. But you know that it would be illegal to search their brains without proper reason.." Stoker said, making her sigh and nod again.

"It is?" They heard another voice saying behind Modo's back which made them turn around again. "That giant wolf's still missing and we would have all in here.." Stoker chuckled but Carbine wasn't pleased about being bothered by each of them. Only Charley was okay to be there but she hadn't much to say against her uncle.

"Sorry, I was just looking at the bathroom when I heard that.." Mania said awkwardly. "It's next door, but there's also another, a bit smaller one on the down stairs. Come, I'll show you" Charley said before turning to look at Carbine if it was okay for her to go. After she nodded to her, she walked out the guest room and grabbed Vinnie and Modo by the back of Modo's shirt armor and by the back of Vinnie's bandoleer.

"Hey! Sweetheart!!" Vinnie gasped but got a glare as an answer. "I'm not sure if I remember where the bathroom was, I need your guys help!" Charley said and winked to the female general who smiled a bit and formed "Thank you" with her mouth which made her smile and nod. "But this is your building, Sweetheart!" Vinnie whined while being dragged downstairs. "Continue that and I'll pull your ears!" They heard the mechanic saying, making both of the generals chuckle before Carbine turned to look out of the window again while Stoker closed the door and turned to look at his sobbing niece. He felt bad for her, but also knew things he probably shouldn't if asked from her..

But where's Throttle?

"I would have ever expected that I would mess up my relationships like this.. How could this happen to a male whose middle name is loyalty? I thought I already had found the love of my life but seriously I just can't get rid of thoughts about Rise.." Throttle sighed deeply while laying on the ground, his hands behind his head and his other leg crossed over his other one. He was laying a few meters away from his bike that he had parked on a grass field under a tree while he was laying on sand. He had driven to a beach, and a very specific one since there was no-one else than just him. Which was also the reason he enjoyed the place so much, he could be there without his helmet and just listen to the waves of the Michigan lake.

"I still love Carbine.. But after what happened.. I can't think we could ever be the same again.." He sighed deeply while looking at the clouds in the sky. They were moving slowly and there were just a few of them. But from their shape, he could recognize a shape of wolf and a shape of motorcycle there. Which obviously brought Rise and Carbine to his mind, even though he was already thinking about them already.

"I don't know what happened and when since you told me there ain't phone lines to Mars and you aren't in touch with her much.. But whatever it is, you need to know that I'm not a damn plaster.." He heard someone saying which made him lift his head up and turn to look at the comer. "Leave me alone.." He growled after seeing the Avatar standing there and crossing her arms. He wanted to clean his thoughts and think about everything but he also had to admit that he wasn't actually mad about seeing her. He was only mad to himself.

"No I'm not.. I want answers.. And I'm sure Carbine wants them too.." She said and walked to sit next to him. Lightning walked around the beach to sniff it around. "Not the only ones.. But, how did you even find me? Did you come here from the garage?" He asked while laying back down. He turned to look back at the sky again and saw now only the wolf shaped cloud there. Hearing her chuckle made him turn to look at her again.

"What?" He said, one eyebrow lifted up. "You really think it's that hard?" She said while leaning against her hands. He saw her looking at the lake and enjoying the slight wind, but when he didn't answer her and still looked confused, she sighed and pointed at the wolf. "His sense of smell is very good.. There's none better than him" She said before chuckling to the view. Lightning had found a stick, or probably small cut down tree which he dragged along with him, leaving some kind of drawing behind.

"Right.. But where did you get my.. Oh never mind.. I heard it already from her.." Throttle sighed deeply before laying down. "Your own fault.." Rise growled back at him, making him roll to his other side, his back facing her. "Don't even dare to ignore me.. And as an answer to your question, whether you cared or not, I came from Quigley Field.. Couldn't handle the atmosphere at Last Chance either, and had to think through some brainwork too.." She said but got no answer, just another sigh. He lifted his tail a bit on the sand before placing it back down by a gentle slap. "Right.. But when you are ready to take your head off your butt, you have some things to explain to us!" She said while getting up. She lifted some water with her Waterbending powers, as a means to spill some on him, but soon she bent them back down to the lake. She didn't want to make things any worse.

"Head off my butt?" Throttle lifted his head up but the Avatar had already walked away. He sat up to look at her back that was going further and further from him. For some reason he wanted to get up and run to her. To grab her hand, pull her closer to him and kiss her. Even if they really didn't know each other much yet.

But when he turned to look at the sky again, there was now just a cloud that's shape reminded him of a mouse's figure that brought Carbine back to his mind, making him stay sitting on the ground and not to go after the Avatar who was playing fetch now with her animal guide and that branch.

"My head and heart are telling completely different things.. Don't know which I should follow.." Throttle sighed and then turned to look at the sky again. He knew that if Plutark had never attacked Mars, he probably never had left there and his and Carbine's relationship would be normal, even if that still doesn't take away what had happened, it would happen anyways. But maybe this all was meant to happen and he was meant to meet the Avatar.. But what about his loyalty?

"Feelings sucks.." He sighed deeply while getting up from the ground. But then the view made him smile even if he didn't notice it first. He actually noticed it from her words after she came back with the wolf. "Good to see you in a better mood, did Lightning have something to do with it or did you decide to take your butt hat away?" She said before throwing the branch again, making the wolf run after it. She really was stronger than she looked like under her quite oversized clothes.

"Butt hat? Oh stop that.." He shook his head but then pointed at the drawing. "Did he really do that?" He asked, making her smile and nod. "Yeah.. And he also growls if I try to step on his drawings.. Isn't that cute?" She said, making him roll his eyes. "Oh, sure.. Cute surely came first in my mind after seeing what his teeth were like.." He said, making her chuckle. "I think I should get back, but.. When you are ready, you know I want to talk with you.." She said and headed to her animal guide, but when she walked past him, he grabbed her hand instinctively and pulled her closer to kiss her.

"Stop!! Didn't you hear me earlier?! I'm not a damn plaster!!" Rise shouted and pushed him away, making his ears drop when he turned to look down at the ground. "Maybe you should talk to your female first.. I.. I'll deal with what's left from you then.. After her anger.." She turned her back to him but he could hear from her voice that she was sobbing. This made him feel even more worse, he never wanted to hurt anyone, especially not any ladies..

After he had given her some time to leave, he headed back to his bike and headed back to the Last Chance too. He didn't know what was waiting for him there, but whatever it was, he had to face it. And deep in his heart he knew that he would deal with their anger but not with their sorrow, but either way he decided, it would hurt one out of two of them..

Back at the Last Chance

After Rise had left the beach, which location was secret from others than the Biker Mice, Charley and the Lightning's nose, she had texted Mania and Paris to come to Quigley Field. So they left before Throttle got back to the Garage, from where he found others but Carbine in the living room when he entered it.

"Hey, look who has come back! Good to see you bro.." Vinnie said while playing some video games with Stoker. That the commander could easily hear from the workshop too. "How are you feeling?" Modo asked when the tan furred male dragged himself closer to them. He just growled as an answer before turning to look at the stairs. "She's in the guest room, but I need to warn you before you enter it.. She might not only tear your tail off, but also your head.." Stoker said just before he beat Vinnie in the game he tried for the first time.

"No way!! You just played the Hamster man for the first time and beat me already! Rematch, Old Timer, now!!" Vinnie growled while Throttle sighed and nodded to them. He headed to the stairs while Charley looked at him worriedly. "There's nothing we can do other than just support them.." Modo said while following the game. Charley just turned to look back at the stairs to see Throttle was already gone, before she turned back to write something to a notebook which had a "Work stuff" label on the cover.

When Throttle knocked the door a couple of times, he really wanted this all to be over already. He knew he had messed up really badly and even if he would prefer not to talk about it, he knew that there were no other choices. "Who is it.. I swear Vincent if it's you with your stupid jokes again, I--" Carbine said but then saw Throttle entering the room.

"Oh it's you.. Never mind, I would still tear your ears off too.." She said while sitting on the bed, her legs crossed and her tail laying next to them in a swirl. "Just like Stoke said.. Umm.. Have you been meditating?" Throttle asked because of her position and since they knew each other so well, after closing the door. "Like you would care.." She growled and lifted her legs a bit up to hug them. She leaned her forehead against her knees to hide her face from him, and also to not see him.

"Of course I care.. Carbine.. I.." He said while sitting on the edge of the bed. "You don't!! You do not care!! Otherwise you wouldn't have ever touched that woman!!" She changed her position to sit on her knees after she punched his shoulder while starting to cry again. "Carbine.. I'm really sorry about what happened.. I know it doesn't mean anything to you and you can punch and do anything you want to me, but I can't undo what I did.." Throttle said while turning to look down at the floor. She had hit him roughly but he knew he deserved it and much more.

From all things he had gone through, he hated nothing more than crying females, especially if he was the reason to cry, which didn't happen a lot, gladly. "Do you love her? I heard you met her just a few days ago.. Which made me furious.. How dare you throw away all the years we have been together?!" He heard her saying which made him sigh and shrug while leaning his arms on his knees.

"Talk to me!!" She shouted and grabbed him by his leather vest to make him lean a bit backward and turn around. "I don't know.." He said but then turned away to cough to clear his throat after she had let him go. "You have never lied to me about any personal things.. Don't do that now either.." She growled while looking at him, even if that hurt her too. He was the male she loved, but he had hurt her badly.

"Personal things, huh.. Good addition.." Throttle chuckled before turning back to her. "Not saying I liked what came to work, but I understand your reasons.. But don't change the subject.. Explain yourself before I flip again.." She said before grabbing new tissue from the packet Charley had left her, which was almost empty already.

"You know we haven't been the same after that discussion we had.." Throttle said while looking at her. She nodded and turned to look down. "But that's not a reason to cheat on me.." She said, making him growl now. "I haven't cheated on you.. I didn't take it that far.. But I have to admit that I am interested in her.." He said while she whipped her tears to the tissue.

"Like making out would be any less.." She growled back to him while looking straight to his eyes, but seeing him looking back at hers made her turn to look away. "I would never cheat on my female.." He said but received a rather strong bitch slap across his face. "Even if I deserve that, your points won't go any higher, Carbine.." He sighed while placing his specs back on him that had fallen on his lap.

"I told you not to lie to me! That's practically cheating!" She raised her voice but got a glare as an answer. "What I did was horrible towards you, I admit it! But I don't regret kissing Rise. I don't deny my feelings towards her.. Even if I still love you.." He said while rubbing his cheek and looking at her. "I would like to believe you.. But I can't.." She sighed deeply, but then saw him getting on his knees too on the bed leaning against her, his head down, which she knew what he meant.

"You know what to do if you doubt me.. Just do it.." He said while offering his antennas to her. She lifted her hand on his shoulder but when she started to push him away, she stopped it and leaned her head forward to connect their antennas. He opened his mind to her even if they both were scared of what they would see in each other's minds. Usually they loved to do that, especially when the situation between them were more intimate, but now they both had the same feeling where this was going to go. And neither of them liked it..

"So.. You don't love me the same way anymore.. After what we talked about.." Carbine sobbed after leaning backwards when they had ended their connection. "You saw it yourself.. But yea.." He sighed while looking at her. Even if she was finally there now, right in front of him, it felt like she was far from him and he missed her. But maybe he was missing what they had.

"How do you think a human would make it any easier? If one of us wants to have children and the other one doesn't.. I'm not buying that would be the only reason.." She said but pushed him away when he tried to whip her tears away. "Just handle your own.. You know it hurts me to see you crying.." She said and turned away. He took his specs off to whip his tears away with his hands. He had also started crying a bit during their connection.

"I can't say I'm sorry, enough to make you believe it.. But you know this distance between us has made our relationship more difficult.. And when we finally had a moment to plan our future, what would we do after the war is over.. I know we both realized we want completely different things.." He explained but she shook her head. "But she's a human! And you have literally just met her! How can you know she's not using you?!" She turned to look at him while another tear was rolling down her cheek.

"Stop talking like she's a worse type of scum.. I'm not saying I know her enough, but if she isn't right for me either, I continue searching.. I have to follow my feelings, Carbine! I know you do that too.. And if you can now go further with your career, I know you want that too.. There wouldn't be a better leader than you for Mars" He said, making her smile a bit.

"I'd never have imagined anything like this from you, Throttle.. But thank you, I do want to focus on my career after all this is over.. Good luck with the Avatar" She said while crossing her legs again. "I did not either.. But I also have a feeling that maybe this was meant to happen.. You know it too that we would never have the same back what we had after that discussion.. We can't force us to be a family if it's not both of our dreams.." He said sadly while turning to look away. "Don't say that! We would have talked that through.. I lost my own parents when I was young, so did you.. And the situation on Mars isn't the safest for children now either but.. All of us will do our best to save our planet.. You know that.." She said, making him sigh and nod.

"Job in the army ain't the safest.." He said, making her nod, which he saw from the corner of his eye. "What you did.. Hurt me a lot.. But I.. I try to understand.. And you were right that we wouldn't be the same.. I love and miss what we had.. I love and miss you, Throttle! But.. But.." She said but then started crying. He turned to look at her before turning to look away. He lifted his hand on her arm to pet it gently.

"I love and miss you too.. Even if you are right there in front of me.. But.. Do we both agree that.." He said while she turned to look at him. "What we had.. Is over.." She said while crying. He nodded and was clearly crying too. He tried to wrap his tail around hers for one last time, but she denied it by moving her tail away. But when he got up from the edge of the bed and was about to leave the room, she got up and hurried to hug him.

"I hope all the best for you, Throttle.." She cried even more when he turned around to hug her back. "I hope the best for you too, Carbine.. I know this hurts both of us a lot.. But I know we get over this.. We have to.." He said while leaning his head on hers. He felt her nodding against his chest while she was crying and her body was shivering.

They knew it was probably the last time they were this close to each other, it made them close their eyes while just smelling each other's scents. The Scents that once meant everything to them. Safe, care, love.. Everything.. And now it was so painful to smell it, while still loving each other.
