Author's pov:

It was a regular morning a couple of days later after the both groups had solved the mystery behind silent streets and gas hijackings. They had slept most of that time, especially Rise who had lost most of her energy after being in the Avatar state so suddenly. But now, the weapon master and the Water tribe's princess had come to the Quigley field's scoreboard to wake her up after she had been sleeping almost for 48 hours.

"Rise!! We got you some food! Time to wake uuupp!" Mania sang horrible while kicking the metal door. "Oh shut up muuum!" They heard the Avatar groaning before they slowly opened the door. "Sneak attaaackkk!!" The Same black haired woman yelled while she ran towards the sleeping beauty. "You know that really doesn't work if you yell it out loud.. Besides, she knows we are already here.." Paris laughed while walking to a table with a bag of groceries. She saw from the corner of her eye that Mania ran and jumped straight to the bed, like a wrestler into a wrestling cage, where the Avatar had continued her sleep already.

"Giaah!!! For my past lives' sake Mania!!" Rise screamed when her not feather light weighted friend jumped onto her. "It's time for you to wake up and face the world!" The Black haired woman laughed while she just glared back to her after sitting up. "No!" She growled while laying back down and pulling the blanket over her ears. "Go away.. And the world too.. Me, sleep, now! You got that.." She yawned but then heard something that made her almost scream again.

"You know we brought Charley and the mice with us too? What you think they like to find you in one of their beds?" Mania grinned, making Paris chuckle. "You are mean.." She formed with her mouth while the weapon master winked at her. "YOU WHAT?!" Rise gasped and got up that fast it made Mania fly out of the bed and against the basketball stand that fell right on her and her left arm..

"Mania are you alright?!" Paris gasped when they heard her whining in pain. "Guys.. There's no mice or mechanics here.. You tricked me!" Rise growled when she had walked to the door to check them, literally in her underwear and her short dark brown hair standing to every compass point. "Rise, I think Mania got hurt badly.." Paris wondered while trying to lift the basketball stand off her but couldn't do it alone. The Avatar walked to her and they lifted it up together.

"Well you deserved it.. I guess you remember now to not trick me like that.." Rise huffed but then saw Mania still laying on the floor. "You are really hurt?" She bit her lip and squatted down. "I think it's my arm.. I can't move it at all.. It hurts a heck of a lot!" She growled while holding her other arm. "Geez.. Sorry, I didn't mean to hurt you.." Rise sighed while she and Paris helped her to sit up.

"We need to get you to a doctor.." Paris said while taking their new phone from her bag. "But not before breakfast, I haven't eaten anything since we left the store right away we changed our clothes! I barely even got a chance to make up!" She growled while walking to the table Paris had got ready. "Wonder if the mice still have their casts on.." Rise said while they started to eat after Paris had wrapped a long scarf around Mania's arm.

"Why?" She asked while eating some toast. "Well.. You decorated their casts pretty nicely.. I'm sure they'll have their revenge.. But not after I have written something to it first!" She grinned, making the weapon master's eyes widen. "Oh shiit.. Noo.. I.. Just noo.." She sighed before continuing. "Remember me to not wake you up ever again!!" She stuffed her mouth full of toast while rolling her eyes when she had to listen to the other women's laughter.

After Mania got out of the hospital, in the Last Chance

"Stay still Mania!! We'll pay you back now!" Vinnie laughed while sitting next to Mania on the couch in Charley's living room. Modo was on her other side and they both have permanent markers writing something to the weapon master's cast she had got to her left arm. "If I'm honest.. I don't mind that at all.. Just don't do any galactic dick pics over there!" She laughed while looking at the mice's muscles like she would be in heaven right now.

"Thank you for bringing her here! Helps us to get over those hearts.. Throttle won't just shut his mouth about them!" Modo chuckled before continuing to write something. "No problem! I was sure that you wanted it, if there's any space left after I left my mark on it!" Rise laughed, making her just glare at her. "You left your mark on me when you broke my arm in the first place!" She growled, making her growl back to her. "What a genius idea it was to wake me up in the first place!" She said but then heard Charley raising her voice for them to stop fighting.

"Seriously, I hear that enough from the guys already.." She sighed but then Throttle talked. "You were still sleeping? Like, for this whole time?" He turned to look at her, making her nod. "Yeah, why?" She asked, making the other two males turn to look at her. "Well if that dashing around didn't make you exhausted, I say nothing will.." Modo said, making her lift her other eyebrow. "What dashing around?" She asked and looked at all of them one by one.

"You were in the Avatar state.. That's why you were so tired.. Don't you remember?" Paris asked, making her shake her head while she sat in a chair. "No.. Not at all! I just remember us fighting with the Road Ravens.. After we fought the Pit Boss.. After umm.. Yeah! I don't remember.. What did I do then?" She said while trying to avoid anyone's eye contact since she was about to mention the kiss.

"Shortly explained, you were flashing in and out of it but when you saw Throttle being almost squished by the Boss Raven.. You literally snapped!" Paris explained making her eyes wide up as much as the tan furred male's eyes did too. He hadn't seen that either since he had been unconscious. He only remembered seeing her coming just before he black out, and when he woke up, she.. Oh yeah, she surely had looked different while she was in the air! But he didn't know what had caused that, until now. "Well.. Umm.. Cool?" She said and anyone in the room could tell that she didn't remember anything about that from the way she was looking at them.

"So you two have feelings towards each other?" Vinnie said while pointing at two of them. "What? But you have Carbine, Throttle?" Modo asked while lifting his head up from Mania's cast. "That's none of your business till we have cleared our own heads.." Throttle sighed before walking out of the room to the Garage side. "I thought you guys were bros who never hurt each other? That seemed rather cold in my eyes.." Mania said, making Vinnie and Modo turn to look at each other before their both ears dropped. They continued writing on her cast when Charley pointed Rise to go after the male while she and Paris walked into the kitchen.

The Avatar sighed and nodded before getting up. She headed to the Garage workshop but didn't see the male in there. "Throttle? Where did you go?" She walked around the place before noticing one of the doors being open. They had left it open when they came there since Lightning was waiting for them outside. He was the fastest way to take Mania to the hospital from Quigley Field.

"Throt-..?" She was about to say again when she took a peek outside, still trying to find the male. But when she saw him, she smiled right away, even if what she saw was a bit odd too. "Not everyday you see a mouse almost two meters tall mouse petting a giant wolf.." She smirked when she walked to the commander who was gently petting Lightning's head while the wolf just laid down on the ground in front of the Last Chance. Charley didn't need to thank him for some extra customers.. She was lucky enough if her regulars came back either.

"He got used to us quite fast, don't you think? Is it because we are sort of animals too?" Throttle asked while still looking at the wolf. "No.. Humans are animals too, but just different species from the others.. And I don't see you guys more animals than anyone else.. You are from Mars! I didn't expect there would be a similar kind of species, as in here.." Rise explained while climbing on the wolf's back making him lift his head up.

"Yeah, you might not even expect there even were any living species either.. Hey wh- Are you leaving?" Throttle said while looking up to her. "No, we are.. Climb on!" She smiled and handed her hand to him. "No.. I'm not getting on that thing.." He said and took a step back. "First, that thing is a wolf.. Alive as much as you are, not a machine! And second, he allowed you to pet him and now you deny his offer for a ride.. Are you always running away when you just get a little scared?" The Woman said, making him growl and sigh.

"I'm not scared.." Throttle said while looking down at the ground. "Hop on then! He won't bite you.." She smirked while still holding his hand to him. "I didn't think the wolf would bite me.. It's the owner that would eat me alive more.." He said, making her laugh while he grabbed her hand and she pulled him up as a way to help him to climb on. He might have pulled the wolf's fur a bit too hard since Lightning twisted his nose and growled a bit, but it was the male's first time doing that even with some help.

"Should I have taken my helmet? Maybe I should.. For a cover, you know.." Throttle said while trying to find a comfortable position to sit on a giant wolf, right behind the Avatar. "Just hang on tight and you'll do just fine! And there's nothing you should cover.. I wouldn't cover a face that handsome if I were you! Besides, you are not even wearing a shirt, why would face covering help with anything?" Rise said before commanding the wolf to get up and move.

"Whoa!" Throttle's eyes widened when Lightning just only got up. "You really think that, Rise?" He asked while placing his hands on her waist. It made her blush a little while she tried to concentrate telling Lightning where to go. "What?" She smirked, making the male just roll his eyes. She acted like she was innocent but both of them knew what he had meant.

"That I'm handsome? But I see you have a point there.." He said while trying to not look down while the wolf was still calmly walking. "Of course I have a point! And why would I lie to you? But I have to say I find that cute too.." She chuckled, making him confused now. "You really confuse me now, you know that?" The Male said, making her laugh. "You are such a macho mouse while driving your bike, beating all those enemies of yours while traveling across the galaxy! But when you get on a wolf's back, you get afraid.. That's what I meant by cute" She said, making him chuckle while blushing.

"Oh shut up.." He said, making her grin over her shoulder. "Umm.. Do I even wanna know why you look at me like that?" He asked but he knew his gut feeling was right, he didn't want to know. "Just hold on and try to relax! Lightning, let's storm up!!" The Avatar said and the male just noticed the wolf moving ears as a way of sharp sense of hearing, just before he started running. And that running was faster than the mouse could have ever imagined. Now he knew where that wolf had got his name, and also that he definitely missed his very own bike!

"What did you want to talk about Charley?" Paris asked when they had walked into the kitchen. "Nothing specific, I just know that Throttle is that type of guy who doesn't want to talk about his feelings in a group. And Rise seems to be that type of woman who sometimes needs some kicking to her butt.." The Brown haired mechanic chuckled while looking out of the kitchen's window. She pointed Paris to walk to her to take a look too.

"Yeah.. She might not always be the sharpest pen in the pencil case, but she is a smart leader.. It takes her a lot of time to learn everything that Avatar should know.. It had taken a lot even to come to this point.. She really has no teachers at all who would teach her bending or anything Avatar related.." Paris explained sadly before smiling at the view. They saw Throttle petting the wolf when Rise walked to him. And they seemed to have started talking. "I.. I would lie if I say I understand.. But.. Let's say that I try to understand.. When you guys came here.. It was a lot of information you blurted out just once.. And I'm not saying our stuff wasn't much easier to understand either! It was a lot to swallow at once when the guys showed up here.. I know what you are going through by that point" Charley said while walking to the fridge.

"You are right.. When two totally different worlds collide.. It takes a lot of time to get to know each other better, but I'm sure it will bring something beautiful to both worlds.." Paris said while looking out of the window. She saw outside that Rise had climbed onto the wolf's back and it took a time from the male to get on his back too. She didn't say anything about it even to Charley who had almost her whole head in the fridge now.

"What'ya doing, Charley?" Paris laughed at the view before walking to her. "Should we make something to eat?" She asked, making her smirk. "You mean food by that?" The Princess crossed her arms making the mechanic laugh. "You know how to cook?" She said, making her nod. "I have to since those two knuckle heads would probably just blow up the kitchen!" She laughed, making the mechanic sigh.

"At least I got one more who knows how to cook.. But five knuckle heads blowing up the kitchen is simply just too much!" The Mechanic laughed while they started to do some preparations. "Don't forget that Rise is still trying to learn Firebending! And Mania is the master with weapons, meaning knives too!" She said, making her turn to look with an expression that she had just seen the most terrifying horror movie. "But she knows how to Waterbend too.." She tried to make it sound better but the princess just laughed which made her gulp. Would those two be more bad in the kitchen than three macho mice..

"Geez guys.. Thanks, I think?" Mania tried to smile but it was more awkward one than happy one. When she looked at her cast, she truly regretted waking up the Avatar that way.. Maybe she should have just thrown something at her or really took the guys to wake her up! But would she be even alive after that? Maybe she didn't want to think about that either.

"What's wrong with that? Now you have the most gorgeous face in your arm, me! You should get that tattooed, though.. I happen to be quite a handsome piece of work!" Vinnie smirked while looking at his work of art. He had drawn his own face to Mania's cast before starting to fill it with texts of how heroic he was. "How typical Vinnie.." Modo rolled his eyes for the view of the white male showing up his muscles, but blushed when he saw Mania reading his writings next.

"'To a beauty who has a great sense of humor. Get better soon!'" Mania read just forming it with her lips, but not saying it out loud. She blushed and turned to look at the male. "You really think that?" She asked, making him nod to her. "Awww, that's so sweet! Thank you" She smiled and continued reading the other texts. Mostly there were texts about Vinnie, but there were some more compliments and jokes from Modo too. Not forgetting a huge message from the Avatar, that said "THANK YOU FOR WAKING ME UP! YOU ARE WELCOMED TO DO THAT AGAIN, BUT MAKE SURE YOU GET THIS ARM HEALED BEFORE THE OTHER ONE BREAKS. I'M NOT THE ONE WHO WIPES YOUR ARSE CLEAN! LOVE RISE".

When she had read that, she noticed the males had now read it too finally since Vinnie bursted out laughing while Modo just chuckled and rolled his eyes. "Oh my God.. That's such a typical Rise.." Mania tried to hold back her laughter but failed doing that. "Even if these are mostly about Vinnie, I'm glad that there ain't anything I asked you to not do.." Mania whipped her tears away while still laughing at her friend's text. Her stomach and cheeks were hurting after laughing so much. "What was it again? Some galactic dick pics? What does that even mean?" Vinnie wondered while Modo grinned.

"But I see you have at least one over there.." He said and pointed at the bit clumsily drawn picture of Vinnie. That made the weapon master start laughing even more as she was about to fall from the couch. But when Vinnie got that, he just crossed his arms and grunted while Modo started to laugh too, mostly because the woman's laughter sounded so funny. While they were laughing so hard, Vinnie started to wonder how things were going with their bro and the Avatar.

"I see why you told me to try to relax.. Gosh my body hurts!! That was worse than driving a bike on a street full of rocks!" Throttle groaned while trying to stretch his back before he collapsed on all four to lay on the ground on his back. "Even this small rock under my back feels more pleasure than that ride.." He sighed before throwing the rock away. "Whiner mouse from Mars would be a better name for you! Can't handle even a small, gentle ride on a wolf!!" Rise laughed before sitting down next to him. She had told Lightning to go wherever he wanted till it was inside a few hundred meters in the forest they had just arrived at.

"A small, gentle ride?! Once you have sat on my bike and I have given you a ride, you can tell what is small and gentle.." Throttle said making her blush so bad it was just impossible to hide. "I didn't mean it that way, you perv!" The Male chuckled making the woman sigh before she started to laugh. "Or did I?" The Tan furred male winked at her, making her slap his shoulder gently.

"You are trying to hit on me!" She said while looking at the male. "No, I'm not!" He tried to defend himself but the Avatar didn't buy that at all, neither did he. "Yes, you do!" She laughed before getting up from the ground. "Na-aa! But where do you think you are going now? Your wolf can be a few minutes without you.." He said, making her glare at him.

"You really meant that?! What about I'd start mocking you about your bike! What a pile of metal it is! Would you like that?!" She growled, making the male get up from the ground slowly since his body was feeling a bit sore after the ride. "A pile of metal?! Take that back!! Besides, my bike is 'she', not 'it'!" He started growling but she only stuck her tongue out of her mouth before grinning at him.

"Oh you little.. I'll make you regret that!!" Throttle laughed, making her start running away from him. "Hey, stay still! You can see clearly that I can't run quite fast yet! My whole body hurts!" The Tan furred male chuckled while trying to get her. She ran fast while laughing before she hid herself behind some trees and bushes.

"Oh, trying to act like a hard catch, huh? Well that won't last long!" Throttle laughed while trying to get himself to run faster. "What is it? Doesn't your engine start like it should be? Are you getting old or what, Commander?" Rise took a peek behind one of the threes but soon saw him being too close, she ran away again.

"That was low! But surprisingly good" The Male laughed while trying to think of a strategy to get her caught. "Wrum wrum! I'm the furious commander from Mars! I have traveled all the way through the galaxy but I lost to a woman on Earth! But oh right, she's the Avatar! No wonder then!" She giggled while first getting closer to him to make him almost catch her before she ran away again.

"You are sooo going to regret that.. No-one mocks me like that without consequences!" Throttle grinned before getting an idea. When Rise had her back towards him while running, he acted like he had tripped over something and had hurt his knee, the same one he had hurt when he had saved Modo a couple of days ago from getting smashed from a truck. He also tested whether she would remember that at all..

"Gaahh!! My knee! Gosh it hurts!" He was laying on his side, holding his leg and seriously it wasn't that hard to act being in pain since his body really felt sore after the ride. That made Rise turn around right away. "Throttle, are you alright?!" She gasped while starting to run towards him. But soon she stopped a couple of meters away from him. "Is this just a trick trying to catch me?" She glared at him suspiciously while the male continued acting quite well.

"Why would I try to do that? I told you I can't run normally yet, I fell on that stupid root! Gosh it hurts.. Rise please help me.. I can't get up on my own!" He whined making her feel sorry for him. She even saw a root near him that he probably had fallen over. "Sorry! That's my fault.. Is it the same knee you just hurt before the Road Ravens?" She sighed while walking to him and sitting down on her knees to check on him. But before she could react, he got up fast even if it hurt, and pushed her over to her back.

"Got you!!" He grinned when he was on all fours on the Avatar who was laying on her back on the ground. "Not fair! I asked you if it was a trick and you lied!" She growled and pulled his other ear a bit. "Ouch!! I told you I'll make you regret your mocking me!" He grinned after rubbing his ear a bit. "That was low.. You knew I would help.." She turned to look away while crossing her arms.

"That was also for that you kicked my groin, remember? My body hasn't been the same since I met you, alright?" He said while looking at the woman who blushed again. "Do you really have to think everything pervertedly?!" He laughed, making her laugh too. "Since how do you know what I had in my mind if you are not thinking that way either!" She grinned, making him blush.

"Alright.. You got me.." He sighed, making her grin. "I know, because you are that close to my knee again.. One move and you are screwed" She said and lifted her knee against his groin, making him gulp. "Umm.. I think I am already.." He said while they turned to look at each other deeply in their eyes. "But we barely even know each other.." Rise started to say but he lifted his other index finger on her mouth to make her stop talking. "Wouldn't it be enough that the male knows what he wants when he sees the one that would be perfect for him?" He said huskily, making her blush. "Where do you know that?" She gulped but soon felt his hand again on the back of her neck. He lifted her head up a bit before placing his lips against her again.

"Does that prove you enough?" He smirked but then a moan escaped from him when she moved her knee a bit. "Don't you even dare.." He turned to look at her again. "Dare what? To do this?" She winked at him before doing it again. She could feel now something hardening a bit while she lifted her both hands on the both sides of his head. She kissed him back powerfully making him grin and answer her kiss the same way.

When they broke apart, she was panting a bit. He was breathing heavily too and she could tell he was blushing when he turned to look a bit away from her. "But we really don't know each other.." She brought that up again while looking at the male and sitting up, leaning on her hands. "Shouldn't we do something for that then?" He asked while turning to look at her again, she was now a bit closer to him. He saw her biting her lower lip which made him pull her into another kiss. "Stop stealing kisses from me.." She growled while blushing. Her chest was almost touching him but then he leaned against her before whispering into her ear. "But I see you like that.." He grinned, making her gulp and nod while closing her eyes. He lifted his hand back on the back of her head before continuing kissing her. It took a while from them before they got separated again since they heard Lightning walking back to them.

"Umm.. Hey boy!" Rise chuckled when she saw her animal guide sitting down before starting to scratch his other ear and neck. "He really ruined the mood, don't you think? But what's with that blood.." Throttle said while they got up from the ground. "Noo.. Lightning! What did you eat?" Rise walked to him to take a closer look from his jaw and mouth. He was licking his lips before barking proudly. "Is hunting forbidden here?" Rise gulped while turning to look at Throttle.

"I think it's more about what you hunt.. But I think I got the main prize.. Or should I say, Rise?" He winked at her, making her laugh. "That was a smooth one actually! But really.." She said before leaning closer to the wolf's mouth. "Are you really.. Oh if he wasn't a mood killer, that really is.." Throttle turned to look away when she smelled the wolf's breath. "I have to know what he has eaten! He is waiting for me to tell if it was okay or a bad thing to do.. This.. This smells like some kind of bird.." She said before patting the wolf's head making it start to whip his tail happily.

"I guess it wasn't that bad then, was it?" She asked, making the male turn to look at her again. "Earth seems to have millions of birds.. I don't think that one was a bad thing.." He said, making her chuckle. "Well, I don't think he ate just one since he had some free time in the forest.. But I just hope there wasn't anyone's pet.." She gulped making the male start to walk to him.

He took her hands in his after she had told Lightning being a good boy. "You just really know how to kill a quite fine boner.." He grinned, making her blush. "I thought I felt something but.. Oh my.." She lifted her hands on her face, trying to cover her blush. But then she felt him wrapping his arms around her. "But I also know you know how to get it back.." He smirked before placing a gentle kiss on her cheek.

She laughed before wrapping her arms around his neck. "I won't disagree with that.." She said before hugging him. He leaned his head on hers since she was a bit shorter and leaned her head against his chest. It felt warm and nice which made her close her eyes again.

"Should we get back now? It's starting to get late.." Throttle said after a while they just enjoyed the moment while listening to the wolf licking the blood away from his lips, which kinda ruined the moment again. "Oh it really is! Look! There's a star!" Rise said while pointing at the sky. The First stars were starting to show up and since there were no city lights, they could see them easily.

"So beautiful.." She sighed when there were more of them showing and it really was dark already. "Nothing compared to you.." The Male said, making her smile at him just before he stole another kiss from her while still having his arms around her.

"Would Mars be one of them? Do you have any idea?" She asked, making him turn to look at the sky too. "Probably.. But since we have been here for so long, I can't tell which it would be.." He sighed, making her turn to look down. "Sorry.. I guess you feel homesick.." She sighed, making him lift his hand under her jaw to lift it up so she was looking at him again. "Maybe sometimes yes.. But not now–.." He said but then suddenly remembered the black haired general from the topic of Mars.

"What is it? You look like you remembered someth-.. Oh.." She said before sighing deeply and walking away from him. "Sorry! I didn't mean to!" The Male hurried after her when she walked to her wolf. "Like I said in the first time there were just two of us.. I don't like guys that don't have their spine in their places.." She growled while climbing on the wolf's back.

"I'll.. I'll talk to her.. I'll promise.." He said while he just stood there, not sure if she would offer him a ride back. "When?" She asked while sighing. Then she handed her hand to him making him sigh while she helped him to get up. She had thought about leaving him here, but that would have been so rude she wouldn't have forgiven herself if she did that.

"Soon.. But can't say when.. There really aren't regular phone lines to other planets here.." He sighed, making her nod while she commanded Lightning to head back to the Last Chance, this time not so fast. She wasn't sure if his body would handle another storming up. But while they were heading back to the Garage, they weren't talking much, just thinking about what had just happened, and neither of them saw a shooting star in the early night sky, which actually was coming closer..

Back at the Last Chance

"Guys I hope you are not putting my poor house into a reno' or I swear you'll be needing to have the casts back on!!" Charley swore when the ground underneath her house was grumbling making the whole building of the Last Chance Garage tremble. "It's not us this time, Sweetheart!" Vinnie shouted from the living room making the mechanic walk there to take a look if he was talking nonsense.

"Mania told us she hasn't see much movies! And we got her hooked on James Bond in no time! Fine lady this Mania, right Vinnie?" Modo chuckled while all three of them were slacking on the couch while there was the third James Bond movie close to its end. "Daamn these are good stuff!" Mania said but then the trembling got even worse and louder.

"Wait till you see the rest of them too! Did Throttle make the Avatar mad again or what is this?" Vinnie asked while Modo shut down the TV after the movie had ended. They would have wanted to continue their marathon, but that sound and trembling got their attention. "Why would she take my building down instead of chasing Throttle to the other side of the galaxy?" Charley groaned while being afraid if her poor house would handle this.

"What if it's the Old Cheese Face? Let's take a look!" Modo said before he and Vinnie ran to the workshop where their bikes were. "Guys.. I think that's a spaceship on the street right there! Never seen one but if that isn't one then nothing is.." Paris said while looking out the window before walking to take some food out of the oven. She and Charley had made plenty of hot dogs for the guys, which disgusted Paris and they were mostly made by the mechanic, while she made some vegetarian food for the women. But by the looks of the food, no-one of them could tell it was vegetarian! And for the dessert, there was a blueberry cheesecake, even if Charley tried to warn the Water tribe's princess about baking that..

"Who do you call an Old Cheese Face, Soldier?!" They heard someone yelling from the outside when the males opened the doors while preparing their bikes guns. "General Carbine?!" Vinnie and Modo looked at the black haired and light gray furred general very surprised when she had stepped out of the spaceship. Meanwhile Throttle and Rise were already heading towards the Garage too, and they weren't far away either..
