Author's pov:

"Vinnie.. I love you, really. But you are really getting on my nerves right now.." Harley sighed deeply while pushing another wedding magazine to the side as she tried to stretch her back with the methods the doctor had told her, with the medication she also had. "Harleyyyy.. Sweetie! We should be planning our wedding!" Vinnie said and grabbed the pile of magazines to lift them in front of her while she tried to do some yoga styled stretches. "From all of the mice on Mars I had to get engaged with the most surprising wedding lover one.." Harley sighed but soon her other eyebrow started to twitch. "Vinnie!!" She shouted as the pile fell over when Vinnie put another magazine on it.

"Alright, alright! What do you want me to do?" He threw his hands into the air after trying to help to pick them up but only got her to growl at him. "Get out.. Now!" She pointed at the doorway in the middle of a yoga position which only got him to smirk at her. "Are you sure? You look- Alright!!" He said but then ran out, a magazine rolled into the shape of a tube flying through the air and got hit to the just closed door.

"Uh.. Finally.." She managed to sigh and turn her head away before her ears moved sharply as the door opened slowly and the white furred male's head took a peek into the room. "Vinnie.. I do love you but sometimes you are making it really, really hard.." Harley sighed and blew some hair off her face. "You know what you make hard, and not just sometimes" Vinnie winked at her, which got her sigh but also giggle. "Vinnie.. VINNIE!!" She laughed at first but when she saw a camera and a flashlight following after it, she shouted at him. "Do you really want me to say where you can shove that camera?!" She shouted when the door closed fast and she could hear him running somewhere from the room Harley was staying at the base.

That made her only shake her head but laugh at him with frustration and also love. "Oh Vinnie.. I'm so glad to have you back.." She sighed and then continued to finish her stretches that helped her muscles to get back to normal and also the breathing exercises helped her with breathing. But after a while when the place seemed too quiet, meaning way too quiet for Vinnie, Harley had to get up from the floor and go out her room where Vinnie was staying too till they would get their own place after all that had happened.

"Vinnie.. I swear if you are hiding somewhere with that camera or another magazine.. Maybe I should have gotten one wrapped with me so I can slap him if he scares the crap out- huh?" She was growling at herself while tying her brown hair behind her head before she found the camera all alone on the base's lounge area's couch. "This is an obvious trap, Vinnie.. I'm not gonna fall for it! Once I take that camera, you jump out of somewhere with that pile of wedding magazines, I don't know where you even got them from!" She shouted while looking around the place, only to see no-one there. Only one freedom fighter left another room from the sleeping area, to go outside. He greeted Harley and she greeted him back, but there was no signs of Vinnie at all, which only got her to smirk this time and throw herself over the backrest of the couch to sit on it and grab the camera. Like her older sister, her curiosity couldn't let her to not to do it.

"Why did he leave it here? With that kind of picture of me that anyone could see.." She wondered while opening his camera to see the picture even if she knew she shouldn't have done it. "If he took the picture without my permission, and just to annoy me, I have a right to see it.. And maybe there's also some embarrassing pictures of him that I can annoy him back.." She smirked herself before she rolled her eyes to the newest picture about her, but when she started to go through more of them, she found out something that got her to lift her other hand on her mouth, close the camera and place it back fast on the couch right after she heard someone walking along the corridor.

"There you are Sweetie! I wondered where you had disappeared from your room. I.. Huh? Is something wrong?" Vinnie asked as he was holding a cup of Harley's favorite sweets in his hand. "Nothing.. Everything's perfectly fine.." Harley said but turned her head away, which got him only to lean his head a bit as a sign of confusion. If she hadn't just seen what she had seen, he would have looked so cute in her eyes. "I was coming to apologize for being so eager about our wedding.. I'm just happy about it, but is that wrong?" He said and sat down on the couch as well, to notice his camera in the middle of them. "Oh that's where I left it! I was sure that I had it with me when I got these for you" He said and handed her the cup of sweets, but she just crossed her arms.

"Heyy.. What is it? If it's about the picture, I can delete it if you want.. I.." He started to say as he placed the cup next to her to grab the camera, but when he opened it, she turned to look away. And when he saw the picture on the screen, he froze and after a moment dropped his ears and turned to look at her. "Like that picture you seem to still have there?" Harley said with the tone of her voice that clearly told she was hurt. "Harley.." Vinnie said without her looking at him. He couldn't look at the picture of him and Zeka when she was there right next to him. He had forgotten he still had it there, hadn't he?

"Is that the guy I smelled on you.." She only asked, and he could tell from her body language that she was sad and hurt. He closed his eyes and turned his head away for a moment and he knew he couldn't lie to her. "Yes.." He said and opened his eyes as he turned to look at her. "I'm sorry.. I delete this right away" He said but then saw her turning to him to grab the camera off his hands. "I want you to tell me the truth.." She said and looked straight into his pink eyes, getting him to drop down his ears.

He turned to look down and it took a moment before he sighed like he had been holding his breath for a long. "I smelled a male from you the other day.. And you have a picture of you kissing a male.. Do you have any idea how much that hurts? I am supposed to be your fiancee" She said which got him to lift his head up from the floor to look at her. "Supposed to? Are you saying that you want to break up?" He said with the tone that told he was hurt too.

"You tell me.. Is there a reason for it?" Harley said and nodded towards the camera. "No!! This.. I mean.. Him.. I.." He started but then took a deep breath. "Alright. I felt so bad when there were no signs of you and no-one believed anymore that there would be a chance that you could be found.. I.. I got depressed and sought comfort from other mice.. males.." He started, making her lift her knees up on the couch too to sit the way she was facing him completely. She leant against the backrest with her arms while she was listening to him.

"Did you believe that too? That I couldn't be found.." She asked sadly. "No.. But at some point.. I started to fear it.. And.." He was about to continue but then felt her hand on his palm as he was holding the camera with his both hands. "Even if I don't like to hear that you have been sleeping with other mice when we haven't been officially broken up, I get what you mean.. When I was there at that asteroid.. I.. I was afraid that I'd never see Mars again, especially you.. And I thought that maybe you had moved on.." She said but got him to shake his head.

"Still.. That wasn't right to you.. You were being tortured while I was cheating on you.. How horrible can a male be!" He said frustrated and sad, which got her to drop down her ears too. "I don't see it that way.. Like you said, you sought comfort.. And the situation is more complicated than just that" She said and looked into his pink eyes that sometimes looked back at her and sometimes not. "Hearing that hurts me, but I still want to hear the truth.. Who's he?" Harley asked and nodded towards the camera that had already closed itself.

"I'd say does it matter, but.. His name's Zeka.. I.. We had some kind of relationship, but it's over. I promise" He said, making her turn to look away to think. "I smelled him from you.. Not a long time ago.." She said and let him continue. "Yes.. I met him, so we're sure that it is over" He explained, making her sigh deeply and sad. "By sleeping with him for the one last time? Are you trying to tell me that?" She asked and saw him shaking his head. "No, but we hugged.. And kissed.. I'm sorry Harley.." He said and turned to look down at the floor again.

"But.." She started to say but he already knew what she was trying to say. "Yes.. It was after we met and got back together.. I'm really sorry Harley.." He said and a tear filled her eye. "You told me you loved me.. You.. You proposed to me.. You.. Do you still have feelings for him?" She asked as she got up from the couch. She waited for the answer for a moment before she leant her head the way she asked the question again.

"So you do.." She said and got him to nod as he looked down. "I.. I can't believe you.." She sobbed while biting her lower lip. She turned to look away since it hurt too much to look at him. "Harley.. I.. They'll fade away.. He's.. He's sick the way he'd probably die.." He said and got her to turn to look at him. "So it's easier to come back to me? Well guess what.. That poison I got from the asteroid might kill me too" She said sadly and hurt. "I didn't mean it that way.. Harley" He started but saw her lift her hand up to him to prevent him from talking as he got up from the couch too. "I need some time to think.. You can stay in that room, I go to Niv's.. And if you respect my will, you don't come there.." She said and then walked away, leaving sad and hurt Vinnie to collapse to sit back on the couch, to place the camera next to him to start crying too against his hands, his elbows on his knees. Were there still a chance to get their weddings planned?

While Harley and Vinnie had faced some bad news in their relationship, if there was any even left when they'd have a chance to talk again, Modo and his cousin who had made a surprise visit to him at the base, were sitting around Mericy's dining table. He had just told her the news while the gray furred female had made some tea for them, meaning that she popped a bottle of non alcoholic beer for her brother.

"No!!" She said and handed the bottle to him. "You have to take her! Jessica has just given birth" He said and thanked about the beer while Mericy was waiting for the tea to get ready. When Rhea and Rimfire had come after their mother's call about the guest, they immediately dragged Evangeline from the table to Rhea's room to see some photos from their childhood, which also helped Modo's ears since Evangeline had talked the whole time from the base to Mericy's place. He had heard most parts of her life so far and honestly wanted a break from her already.

"Well congrats? When were you planning to tell us?" Mericy said and crossed her arms while leaning against the kitchen counter. "Sorry! I just got to know too" Modo hurried to say after taking a sip from the beer. "Well you deserved it.." Mericy huffed and snorted while looking away from him, getting him to narrow his eye. "Hey.. You knew?" He asked while placing the bottle on the table to point at his sister. He leant against his arms while still holding the bottle in his mechanical right hand.

"Of course I knew! Who else Jessica trusted if her boyfriend's somewhere unknown" She asked and lifted her other eyebrow to him as he snorted this time. "But you have to take Evangeline to your place. Rhea and Rimfire would like some company" He insisted, making her lean against the table with her hands. "No! I'm not going to take her" She growled, which got him to lean backward a bit.

"Then who is?! You know I can't" Modo said, while both of them heard someone opening the front door, thinking that the children probably went outside. "Well that's not my problem. She contacted you so what about you solve your own problem?" Mericy said and turned to check the tea while Modo turned to look away to think. "She is both of our cousin! What is so important that you can't take her?" He growled, but then both of the siblings turned to look at the kitchen doorway where Evangeline was standing. She was leaning on her crutches while looking like she was more hurt inside than on the outside.

"I see if neither of you want to take care of me.." She sighed deeply, getting them to turn to look at each other and drop down their ears. "Evangeline.." Mericy sighed and took a step towards her. "No, it's alright.." She started but then Adira walked in the kitchen, meaning that probably one of the children had let her inside while the adults hadn't heard her knocking from their argument.

"Am I hearing right? And I hope I have not got a hearing problem. Are my children turning their backs to their own cousin?!" Adira scolded and lifted her other index finger to scold also with movements, making Modo and Mericy drop down their ears and lift their shoulders to their ears. "Mother.." They started in unison, while feeling like little children again. "No! How dare you?! Evangeline, dear. You are going to come to my place" Adira said and turned to her gray furred niece who gently smiled at her while feeling a bit bad for her cousins.

"Aunt.. Are you sure?" Evangeline asked while feeling unsure about the whole situation. She felt like it was her fault that her cousins were arguing, even if Adira tried to tell it was definitely not. "No, I can take her" Mericy hurried to say but only faced her mother's angry expression. "No you can't! Your opportunity was before I walked in and heard you. I am disappointed in both of you about this. Haven't I told you enough times what my white furred father used to say? Family sticks always together!" She growled at her adult children, getting them to sigh deeply.

"I guess we both need to look in the mirror.." Modo sighed again while Adira walked Evangeline back to the living room while Rhea found a photo she and Rimfire had been looking for. "You guess? That's rather clear.." Mericy growled at her brother, but unfortunately got heard by their mother too. "Mericy Aria Jacey!!" Adira shouted from the living room, making Mericy sigh deeply and turn to look at Modo with an apologetic expression on her face, and so did he. With that kind of behavior, their mother made them feel like young children again, but with their age now it was even worse.

"Ugh.. You are right Modo.. We need to grow up. Evangeline needs us" Mericy sighed deeply while taking a few cups from the kitchen cabinet. "Yea, but unfortunately I still can't take her to live with us even if I wanted to. Jessica and Jade need me" Modo said before he helped Mericy to set the tea and snacks into the living room. "Let's talk about it. Maybe we'll find out some kind of solution. Which isn't that our old mother takes her" Mericy said, making him smile gently and nod at her before they walked into the living room and Modo told Rhea to move the photo albums away from the table.

"Look uncle Modo! You are here too!" Rhea said as she turned the album over to show them a photo of young Modo. "I can see that.." Modo chuckled while Mericy laughed. "That's when we got caught eating candy before dinner!" Mericy laughed, but Modo just turned his head to look at the photo more carefully. "Ain't that the time we were going to swim at the nearest lake?" Modo asked which got Adira and Mericy to turn to look at each other while Rhea handed the album roughly and fast to Rimfire to get some snacks Mericy had prepared for them when Modo and Evangeline had arrived. Rimfire just snorted at his sister who seemed to be once again a pain in his butt.

"Noo! Don't you remember it?" Mericy asked while laughing, but Modo just looked at the photo before hearing his mother talking. "Are you alright, Modo, darling?" Adira asked while she was having Evangeline's feet on her lap that she gently pet. There was a pillow underneath her broken leg. "Yea, mama.. I am.. Maybe that stress from the last days messes up with my head" Modo said and sat down on a chair while Mericy poured some tea for the rest of them as he took a sip from his beer.

"What stress? Like you even had time to stress since you didn't know she was going to have a baby" Mericy said which got Modo to glare at her. Luckily Rimfire got his attention so he could have an excuse to not answer her. "How's Jade? When are they getting home so we can meet her, uncle Modo?" Rimfire asked excitedly while walking to sit onto the armrest of the chair where Modo was sitting.

The Gray furred male smiled at his nephew before he petted his hair with his mechanical right hand to make it look messy. At least it was better than sitting next to Rhea who seemed to annoy him any chances she just got. "Hopefully soon! Both of them are doing fine. Are you excited to see your new cousin?" He asked, but before Rimfire could even answer, Rhea spoke over him, getting him to glare at his sister.

"Of course!! I can't wait to meet her! It's so nice to have another girl in this family, right Evangeline?" Rhea smiled while Rimfire crossed his arms. "A Boy wouldn't do any harm either.. Uncle Modo, please make sure that if you and Jessica are going to make a brother for Jade, that she isn't that annoying sister to him that I have!" Rimfire said, making all of the adults laugh while Rhea gasped "Heeey!" and threw a pillow at him.

"Like that!!" Rimfire said and threw it back at her, but just in time, Mericy caught the pillow with her tail as she was going to hand a cup to Evangeline. "Stop right there! Don't throw anything inside the house! Or at all when it's up to you two!!" Mericy growled at her children which made Modo just laugh. "At least Jade got herself cousins that cares for her.. Unlike me.." Evangeline said after thanking Mericy for the tea. Her words got Modo and Mericy turn to look at each other before sighing. "That's right, Evangeline. But those two care about you too. Am I right, kids?" Adira said which got Modo and Mericy nod but then realized what she had just said.

"Mama! We are not kids anymore!!" They said in unison, making Rimfire, Rhea and Evangeline burst out laughter while Adira smiled at them too. "Yes you are when you are behaving like that! Now, which one of you is going to take care of Evangeline? Or am I, and both of you are grounded" Adira said before toasting with Evangeline who laughed with her at Modo's and Mericy's reactions. Both of their jaws dropped down and Mericy growled "You can't have us grounded! We are adults!" and Modo to say "Are you seriously grounding a Freedom Fighter? Even General Stoker would laugh at me, mama!" while both of them continued to say that she was also blackmailing them.

"Stoker would agree with me, Modo. And Mericy, yes I can, I am your mother for your whole life time, you wanted it or not" Adira smiled proudly at them which got her daughter to just sigh and drop down her head before sitting down too on a chair. But doing that made her lift her hand fast to her mouth, and to make sure no-one saw it. Luckily Rhea had once again stolen the spotlight since she had burnt her tongue to the tea and Rimfire was laughing at her with Evangeline. Seeing that got her also to smile warmly and sigh.

"Fine. Evangeline, you are welcome to stay here. I'm sorry I was so harsh earlier.." Mericy said after being sure she was feeling alright. Her words got all of them turn to look at her. "Really?! Are you sure?" Evangeline said but Rhea and Rimfire started to cheer already, but soon it turned to a fight since Rimfire laughed at Rhea's way to talk after burning her tongue and she started mocking her brother back. "But are you sure you want to stay here with this circus?" Mericy asked, making her laugh and nod. "Of course! I'd love to!" She said and when she was about to get up to walk to hug her cousin, Mericy saw that early enough to get up herself and walk to hug her.

"Welcome home, Evangeline" She smiled, but her words made tears fill up her eyes and all of them turned to look at her worriedly since it didn't seem like she was crying happy tears. Even Rhea and Rimfire stopped fighting in the middle of the way when a pillow was once again getting stuffed to Rimfire's face. "Evangeline, darling, what is it?" Adira asked and lifted her hand to her back to pet it gently. Something seemed to be seriously wrong as she also started trembling. "I.. I remember.. Your words made me remember.. That my oldest brother.. I.. I.." She cried but barely could even breath. "Take your time, Evangeline. And take a deep breath" Modo said while taking the pillow from his niece and nephew and commanded Rhea to sit at her place, away from her brother.

"You are with your family, you are safe" Adira said while trying to calm her down. "He died at the battlefield!" She cried, making all of them shocked. "W- What?" Mericy gasped while Modo was in a shock too. Adira started crying while Modo said a Martian prayer to their passed cousin. He was Evangeline's oldest brother from her five older brothers and had been in the army during the Plutarkian war. He had been the same age with Modo, which got them, especially him, to think that it could have also been him.

"That's horrible, Evangeline.. Where are others in your family? Are they alright?" Mericy asked while the light brown haired female turned to hug her aunt tightly and cry with her. Rhea and Rimfire were also too devastated to talk or to continue fighting. They just turned to look at each other for a moment with sad expressions and ears down before turning to look back at the others.

"I don't know.. where they are.. I got a call from the military.. They didn't know either.. That's why they called Modo.. They knew where he was.. From all of you" Evangeline cried which got Modo to drop down his ears. "Since you or none of us have got any other calls, they are alright and somewhere out there. The Situation after the war is still messy, Evangeline. They are going to be found, just like you" Modo tried to smile at her and to cheer her up but couldn't. The Rest of the evening had very sad atmosphere on it while Adira stayed too on the Mericy's house even if Modo had to leave to the hospital to see how Jessica and Jade were. But before that, Modo promised to try to get any information possible about Evangeline's family while Rimfire dashed into the kitchen again where the adults had got from the living room after cleaning the dishes to help Mericy.

"Mooom! Do I really have to hang around with them? I'm almost an adult!" He whined, Rhea and Evangeline following right behind him and giggling. Evangeline was still sobbing and sad but at least some kind of bubbly conversation with Rhea had helped her a bit. "You dragged your own fat ass into my room! So blame yourself Rimfire!" Rhea mocked him and stuck her tongue out to get him just to do the same at her.

"Make sure she's going to Rhea's room! I want to sleep!" Rimfire continued, getting Mericy to sigh and cross her arms as she leaned against the counter. "And that kind of behavior is like how adults behave, Rimfire?" She asked, but instead of his mother, he preferred to listen to his uncle. "Wouldn't agree more" Modo said, making Rimfire laugh and the males to do a fistbump that got Mericy to just roll her eyes. Adira just smiled at them, but didn't manage to say anything till Rhea talked again. "I wouldn't ever let her sleep in your room! We have a lot of girl things to talk about!" She pointed at Rimfire before lifting her hand on her hip. Her words got Evangeline laugh a bit after all that crying.

"Oh yeah! Any good looking boys here in the town?" She tried to joke around and be curious as she usually was even if the news were the only thing she could think of. Being with her relatives also helped her and made her feel a bit better and safer. "Evangeline dear! You are barely even a teenager" Mericy hurried to say but Adira's words got each one of them to laugh. Except Mericy.

"Like that prevented you either, Mericy dear" She said, which got in the end of all Mericy to chuckle too while rolling her eyes. She just whipped her tail behind her feet and after finishing the topic, Modo left for the hospital and Mericy told both of her children to help Evangeline to make her a bed in Rhea's room. They could still hear the siblings arguing and fighting when Modo started his bike in the front yard and dashed away.

Rhea and Rimfire tried to help Evangeline by playing some Martian board games with her, but it didn't help since after remembering the horrible news again, and when the day turned into evening, and everyone started to feel more tired, Evangeline could just cry and mourn for her brother. While Adira tried to help them, especially Evangeline, Mericy had gone to prepare a bed for her in Rhea's room, but during it, she had to lift her hand on her mouth again. "Ugh.. This isn't a good timing for a nausea.." She said before she had to run to the closest bathroom after getting a pillow ready for Evangeline. Luckily Rhea's loud voice in the living room covered the sound of her throwing up, but when she was going to go back to her room, she saw her mother in the doorway.

"Is everything alright, dear?" Adira asked, making Mericy stop right there. "Yes, why? I was just checking if I had everything needed for her here too" She said and tried to smile but soon dropped her ears down when her mother pointed at her own jaw, getting Mericy quickly wipe hers. "What kind of hygiene things are being stored in the toilet? Mericy.. Dear, did you just throw up?" She first smirked at her but then sounded more worried with a serious expression on her face.

She knew she couldn't lie to her mother, so she just nodded at her. "I saw that from you earlier. That you are having that kind of sickness I have seen you having earlier too, many many years ago.. Mericy, dear.. Are you pregnant?" She asked gently, getting her to nod again. She just couldn't say anything, only turned her head away and lifted her left hand on her right arm but soon Adira talked again. "Oh darling.." She said and walked to hug her gently. "But is this happy news? Who is the father? I didn't know you had anyone after Haf" She said and from her voice Mericy could tell she wasn't judging her at all. She was a loving and supporting mother like she had always been, which like in the beginning of her other two pregnancies, it got her crying this time too.

"I was so sure that I'd be fine with two kids.. This was a total surprise, for both of us.. But I guess it is.. Happy news, mother" Mericy cried while Adira hugged her gently and she hugged her back. "Congratulations, dear! All grandchildren are welcome! And I'm sure Rhea and Rimfire are happy to get another sibling. You saw how happy they were when they heard about Jade" Adira smiled but then Mericy hurried to say. "I don't want anyone to know yet, mother! I want to tell myself when I'm ready.. And when we are ready, you'll meet the father too, I promise. I'm sorry I haven't told you before. And that this isn't traditional.. But everything just.. happened.." Mericy sighed, and got her to nod.

"I'm not going to tell anyone. Or blame you for not getting married first. Losing Haf was terrible, but I wish you have found your happiness again. But what comes to the blaming.. I need to have a talk with Modo about getting married without us being present.. So save your prayers to your brother, dear" She smirked at her in the end, getting her laugh and nod at her. "I will, mother, I will.. Thank you" She smiled, which got Adira to realize something.

"I understand now why you didn't want Evangeline to stay here first.. I can still take her to my home if you want. And I am sorry that I yelled at you, if I had known. But I understand everything now" Adira said gently and understandingly, which got Mericy to shake her head. "No, she's welcome to stay here. Even if I have had very bad nausea every time I have been pregnant, and this time doesn't seem to be an exception either, I can take care of her. There's still plenty of time before we meet this little mouse.." She smiled and gently rubbed her stomach, but then had to hurry to throw up again, which got Adira to offer to finish the bed she had been preparing for Evangeline while the children had ended up switching the game to a movie, during which Evangeline had fallen asleep while still crying for her brother.

Rhea was petting her back while Rimfire had got their grandmother to help them to get Evangeline to her bed. Adira helped Mericy to cover her secret while she was in her bedroom getting ready to sleep too. She was gently rubbing her stomach while wondering how her brother would take the news about her being pregnant to a mouse he and his bros hated for some reasons she didn't know. Would he also hate his new niece or nephew? Would everything be the same when he finds it out?

During the same day, very late evening, in the General's office

She felt her body trembling again. She felt tears filling up her eyes as she just a moment earlier had taken a deep breath outside the general's office before stepping inside with a permission for the entrance with a fake identity to make sure about the high security. "How cruel can you be.. No.. Not that Throttle I know would do that!!" She heard herself growling at him during the previous meeting. During which she had heard the truth.. "I didn't have a choice, honey.." Throttle had said, which had got her to ask about it.

"How so.." She had said, and his words had made her feel like the floor had disappeared under her. "For Stilton.." He had said. And after that she had finally understood everything, as herself and as a general. She had needed some time to think but had given him a chance to be a father to his son. She had picked Felix up later that day, but now she was now there again, to meet him, Throttle, again. But this time she was alone. Harley had promised to take care of her son for her, so she could meet Throttle in peace and not care about her language that much when Felix wasn't around.

There Carbine stood, in the general's office, after she had closed the door behind her. She heard the door getting locked very well which got her to relax her shoulders a bit. She was looking around the room, trying to find the tan furred male she had come to meet, but so far the space seemed to be empty. "Are you here?" She asked and tried to sound cold, but her words got herself to gulp while trying to find him.

"Over here!" Throttle said and walked out from a small meeting space that was part of the office but was separated with a wall and a door, making its own space and the space where Throttle was sleeping on its couch. "Hey.." Carbine said and lifted her other hand on her other arm to rub it gently. She didn't know what to feel. She was still trembling, she was angry, confused and afraid, but also she felt herself nervous. Not that kind of nervousness when a young girl saw her crush, but the nervousness that she knew that she had also missed him much during the time he had been away. He was still after all, her husband, wasn't he?

She was definitely not sure about what their relationship would be. Would they be the same again, she didn't know. Would they still be married, she didn't know that either. But she was there to find it out. Which was also a sign that she also wanted to give them a chance. Otherwise she would have never wanted to see him or even give him a chance to see or even know about their son. But was she doing this only for their son, or also for herself and for him and her?

"Hey. So good to see you" Throttle smiled at her, making her just nod at him. Usually she would have smiled back at him, but now she didn't know anything. There was a moment of silence between them, before she had to sigh deeply as she noticed she had held her breath, which got Throttle to realize her nervousness and ask her to join him to sit on the couch of the office. She nodded at him and followed him, and during that she found herself looking at him and noticing that he had kept himself in very good shape as usual. It got her to blush but soon to growl at herself to not fall for it.

"I'm happy that Stoker can set us these meetings.. I'd want to meet you somewhere else too but.." Throttle started while noticing that she had come alone. He looked at her carefully but no, there was no signs that she'd had brought Felix with her. "Where's Felix? Why didn't you bring him with you?" He managed to ask but then she lifted her hand up for him to stop talking. "He's with his godmother, Harley. But I get what you said.. How was your meeting with him?" She asked, while not being sure about what they should start talking about. She was definitely still mad at him, even if she knew the truth now. "It was amazing! I love that little boy already. Thank you for letting me be his father, you don't know what that means to me. I would've loved to see him again" Throttle started and she could see him lightening up and at the same, being so different from what he usually was. He had always been loving for sure, but this was new even for her.

"I.. You're welcome. Felix deserves to get to know his father too. I love him too much to take that chance from him.." Carbine smiled as she was thinking about their little boy. Throttle noticed that and smiled too at her. Seeing her smile made a warm feeling in his chest, like it had always done. But then everything changed. She turned to look at him the way he could tell she was angry. "Which makes me think.. What the actual fuck, Throttle?!" She said and got up from the couch to walk in front of him.

"We already told you the truth with Stoker. And I know you are mad. You have all the rights to be! I get that!" Throttle said as she looked at him into his red eyes behind his specs. "I am! I am furious!! How could you do something like that to me when we could have protected Mars together?!" She shouted at him which got him to sigh deeply. He knew she was going to say that any moment possible. It made him drop down his ears. She was right. But still, he wanted to protect her. He wanted to keep her safe, no matter what. Especially now he knew she had been pregnant back then. He hated that he had to do what he had to do, and that she was angry at him, but he didn't regret doing it for keeping his loved ones safe.

"You are the most important mouse to me in the Universe. Now with Felix, Carbine" Throttle started and then got up from the couch too. "No.. Stop.. I know what you are going to say and I don't want to hear it.." Carbine said and turned to look away but he grabbed her hands in his. "You know our relationship is tougher than Plutarkian Glass Steel.. I know you know it" He said, and saw tears rolling down her cheeks as she turned to look at him. "I remember that day too.. So stop right there, Throttle.." Carbine growled and her try to not cry was completely useless. He was the mouse she loved the most too after all, he and Felix.

"No.. I won't stop. Never when it comes to you" Throttle said and felt himself crying too. "Stop you idiot!! I am mad at you!" She growled when their minds traveled to the day when they had first come in contact with Plutarkian Glass Steel, a material that was a lot stronger than any Mars build materials they had ever faced. It was during the war, but before the Biker Mice had gotten hurt and been transported to Karbunkle's lab. It was in the beginning of their relationship, and it had made it a lot stronger..

Some years ago, during the Plutarkian War

Throttle and Carbine were fighting right by each other's side as they tried to protect the City of Brimstone along with others in the forces. Carbine was standing on his right side while Throttle was shooting on his knees behind the rock they were taking cover together. Vinnie and Modo were fighting a bit far away from them while Throttle had driven fast to be by his girlfriend's side, especially when she needed his help. Vinnie, Modo, Stoker and the others were protecting them too as Carbine was trying to approach some weird looking shields and machines the enemy had brought to the battlefield, with their diggers that Martians had faced many times during the war.

"Be careful, beautiful" Throttle said to her as she had got up to stand right next to him after they both had crawled closer to the enemy. "You too, handsome. We need to find out what that is.. If the enemy has got strong- Throttle!!" Carbine was about to say but then Throttle got up from his knees to stand up too. The Plutarkian soldiers in the Plutarkian digger that was approaching them, noticed him as he was taller than Carbine, and one of them shot straight to him, making him groan in pain and fly straight backwards and almost fall into the river underneath them on the cliff.

"Carbine!!" Throttle shouted just after he managed to take a grip with his right hand from the edge of the cliff that was already crumbling from his weight. "I'm coming!!" Carbine shouted, taking a high risk to get shot too as she turned around and ran immediately to grab his arm when the edge of the cliff grumbled and the pieces of the rock fell into the river. It could have been Throttle too, but luckily she had got there right in time. "Are you okay, Throttle?" She asked and helped him to climb up and away from the edge to be sure they were safe while the enemy was still shooting towards them. "Yeah, yeah I'm okay" He smiled at her, making her drop down her ears as she handed his gun back to him.

"Good. I don't want to lose you" Carbine said emotionally, making him move the gun from his right hand to his left so he could lift his right hand to her cheek, getting her to drop down her ears more and lean towards him. "Hey don't you worry, Carbine. I'm not going anywhere" He said and then gave her a fast kiss before they had to hide behind a bigger rock. He made sure she got safe before him, and when they were finally there, she hugged him tightly and nuzzled her face against his chest.

"I love you Throttle.." She said, making him pull her tightly against him. He lifted the gun behind his back to hug her better. "I love you too.. And whatever that new material the Plutarkians have made to protect themselves, and to attack us, I'm sure our love is stronger than that!" He said and turned to look at her, making her smile at him. "What a romantic, aren't you, macho mouse?" She chuckled and smiled at him, making him smirk at her and kiss her again. Carbine blushed lightly and then they turned to look at the sky together before they prepared their guns again to protect themselves when they got more backup in the form of Vinnie, Modo and Stoker. During which Stoker had found out that the new material they were facing was Plutarkian Glass Steel. A Material that would cause them many problems in the future..

Back to this moment

"Idiot.. I told you not to.. Ugh I can't even describe how angry I am at you!! I.." Carbine growled but then ended up shouting from the top of her lungs to let it all out. She started crying so much it got Throttle to hurry to her and wrap his arms tightly around her. "Let it all out, Carbine.. Let it all out.." He said and cried too as she started to punch and shout at him, as the way she tried to cope with the facts she had just gotten to know. Seeing her like that was devastating for him, but he just sighed deeply and let her do it.

A Moment later she was still crying, but had calmed down the way they had collapsed to sit on the ground, both on their knees, and she still in his arms. "Are you alright?" Throttle asked even if he felt her still trembling a lot. "No.. How could I ever get back to alright?! You broke my heart! You broke my mind! You broke everything!!" Carbine said as she turned to look at him, but when she saw him sincerely crying, it got her ears to twitch, her eyes widened before she leaned to connect their antennas. He didn't hesitate for a moment to do that too and after that, they shared a passionate kiss.

"Throttle.." Carbine said while crying when their lips got separated. "Carbine" He said and pulled her into a tight hug, her being halfway on his lap. "I was supposed to be angry at you!!" Carbine growled while still crying. "I have missed you so much.. I am terribly sorry for what I did! I didn't want to do it!! But I don't regret doing it to keep you and Felix safe. Please believe me.." He said, making her wrap her arms around his neck to hug him tightly. She was still angry at him, but was it really at him? Or was it more at the mission? She knew she still loved him. She had always loved. Like he had loved her. But could she ever forgive him? Would they ever get back to where they were before that mission?

Her reaction was definitely part of the trauma the whole thing had caused to her. Recovering would take so much time that neither of them knew how much or what it would take her to heal. Even if she knew the truth and that the whole thing wasn't Throttle's fault, she was still angry at him. And now she was there, crying in shock in his arms and had no idea how he could do anything like that. Then, one idea filled her mind. How could she even continue as a general after this?

Throttle had no idea either what he could do to help her. He could continue apologizing but even an eternity of it didn't seem enough to help her and seeing her like that was heartbreaking to him. Soon the crying turned into growling as she just looked into his eyes and he looked into hers. Then she broke the silence after his apology. "I hate you.." She growled, getting his eyes widened and his ears to move sharply.

"C- Carbine.." He was about to lower his ears down, but then her growl could be heard more louder. "I hate you, Throttle.." She said and grabbed him by his leather vest to pull him into another passionate kiss. "W- What.." He mumbled against her lips but then answered the kiss. "I also love you.. Like I have always done.. But now.. I want less talking.." Carbine growled and pulled him up from the floor. "Carbine? Oh alright!" He managed to say before he found himself being pushed to sit on the couch as Carbine pulled her shirt over her head and dropped it to the floor.

"Are you sure about this? I mean.." Throttle said but then felt her hand on his locks before she pulled his hair to get him to lean backwards. "Shut. Up.." Carbine growled demandingly before she started to kiss his neck passionately, making Throttle to travel his other hand also through her hair while with the other one he pulled her to sit on his lap. "I just want to say this.. I love you Carbine.. And I'd never want to hurt you" Throttle said before her lips met his. "I want you to make me feel that you are really back and I'm not just imagining things.. Make me feel alive, Throttle" She growled at him, making him kiss her back and she opened her mouth to him so their tongues could dance together. After that Throttle switched their places that she got dropped on her back on the couch as he climbed on her.

"Your words are my orders, General" He said like he had also said during their honeymoon before her back got curled as he moved his other hand on her back while starting to kiss her neck and helping her to get their clothes off. Meanwhile Niv was walking along a corridor in the Freedom Fighters' base where she had been staying so far. She had been helping Harley to talk about her and Vinnie's latest fight when Harley had come to stay at her room for awhile, but during the night she hadn't got any sleep since another thing had come into her mind after a long time.

She had also talked about Jessica and her new baby with her sister, and then she had remembered one thing Jessica had said to her during her pregnancy that made Niv only to roll around in her bed and not get any sleep at all. "During the war, when Biker Mice and General Stoker had come to the underground hospital to get checked.. The others had lost Stoker there and when I was going to ask it from the others by the radios, Stoker came and grabbed the radiophone from my hand. He was so cold when he told me not to say anything.. Like he didn't want anyone to know where he had been.. I saw a hospital card in his back pocket.. A Card that accessed the visitor to visit the long-term patient, especially coma patients.." Jessica had once explained to her which got her to think at her time being in a coma while she walked along the gloomy corridor.

"I was in that hospital back then.." She remembered herself answering to her which got her now to sigh deeply. 14 years.. She had been away for 14 years.. And during that time Mars had gone from a war to another with no signs of peace at all and the whole planet was so close to its doom without water or its nature. "Why did Stoker act so suspicious if he was just visiting you? It was like none of his group knew about you.. I see if it was about the protocol, but he must have already been your partner in public since you two are married.." She heard Jessica's voice again in her head when she headed to stairs that lead to the ground level where she headed to one of the highest levels so she could go out to the balcony to get some fresh air.

"'I know some things about you, I'm quite sure you don't want anyone else to know..'" Stoker had said to Jessica back then. Niv just scratched behind her other ear before leaning against the railing. She closed her eyes for a moment to think that for some reason Stoker had blackmailed Jessica. She hadn't had time to ask about it from him when he had last been here before he had to leave somewhere again. "Stoker.. What's going on.." She sighed deeply and turned to look at the red sky of Mars.

"I hope you haven't done anything I should be worried about.. Not only as your wife but also as the Crown Princess.. Since my mother hasn't been her best lately, I have got more responsibilities like you have got too as the next Commander in Chief, but even he has his own limits" Niv thought just by herself while leaning to rest her head on her arms. Her mechanical tail swung calmly behind her feet as she closed her eyes for another moment to think about her husband.

"I wish you were here.. Like our daughters.. Maybe that's what you are up to.. You are trying to find them.. Or then it's something else. And that's what you are, have always been.. So careful and secretive. Even to your wife.. the next Queen.." Niv sighed deeply and then swung her tail harshly to the balcony flooring. "Uh huh.. I hope you are safe and know what you are doing.. I have watched so many things through my fingers for you Stoker.. I know what you have done and it doesn't take my worry away that you are behaving like this now.." Niv sighed deeply before looking around the balcony and then heading back inside.

"So.. You hate me?" Throttle said as he was fixing his messy looking hair to look like his regular locks again. After that he pulled his pants up and closed his belt while looking over his shoulder to see Carbine pulling her shirt over her head too. "Huh?" Throttle said but got her only to growl and not to turn to look at him. "Was that that horrible? Did you hate that too?" Throttle said and walked to lift his hand to her back, making her stop dressing up right there.

"It's not that simple.." Carbine sighed and dropped her ears as she turned to look away from him. "I know.. But I loved that.. And I love you" Throttle said and then kissed her cheek before leaning to kiss her neck multiple times after moving her hair away. "Mmhh.. Throttle.." Carbine moaned and felt him wrapping his arms around her to her stomach. "I love you Carbine.." He repeated and continued kissing her neck. She felt him sucking it for a moment which got another moan escape from her lips.

"I love you too, macho mouse.." She wanted to say but she just turned around to lift her hands on his bare chest to kiss him passionately. "I was supposed to be angry at you.. But here we are now.." She sighed but then continued. "I still need some time to think.." Carbine said, making him nuzzle his nose against hers. "I understand, but I wish we could meet again.. And I can help you to get over this.. We can still be a family, can we?" Throttle asked, making her turn to look into his eyes. Then she sighed deeply and pulled something from her pocket.

"Huh? Carbine.." Throttle said and took the item from her that she handed to him. "I have eaten those ever since it happened.. I haven't been the same, Throttle.." Carbine felt her eyes to water up again as she turned to look away. She was ashamed that she had had to get medicines to help her to deal with her husband's death and the shock of it. "I.. I didn't know.. But no. Carbine, don't be ashamed of it. This is all my fault!" Throttle said and then grabbed her from her shoulders to get her to look at him.

"We'll get you through this. We'll get through this, Carbine. I am still your husband. Stoker made sure our marriage is still like it should be, like nothing has happened.." Throttle said even if he twisted his nose when Carbine was looking down. "But.. What if I can't be healed from this.. What if I lose my mind?" Carbine said and turned to look at him. "How can I forgive you? Even if this wasn't your fault.. Or what if I can't be a general ever again?" Carbine continued worriedly. Throttle was looking normal again when he gently petted her stomach which got her to lean against his chest and him to wrap his other arm around her.

"My love.. I promise you we'll find a way to heal you. After that you can think about your career. There's no need for that for now.." Throttle said and grimaced when she hugged him gently before walking to put her shoes back on. During that when she wasn't looking at him, he lifted his other hand on his chest as he was gasping for air. Throttle seemed to be in pain but Carbine didn't notice it. "Carbine is my first priority.. After she's back to normal, we can think about work again.." He thought in his mind before smiling normally again to her when she turned around.

"I don't know what to say.. But.. I have to think this through.." Carbine said before feeling his palm on her cheek like he had done in their memory. "I liked what happened today.. But, could I meet Felix soon too? I'd love that" Throttle said, making her smile a bit but then turn to look a bit away. "What happened today.. I'm not sure if it should have even happened.. And what comes to Felix, you'll see him but I can't promise yet when.." Carbine said, and before she left, he kissed her one more time, but this time getting no answer to it, leaving Throttle dropping down his ears and sighing before the pain in his chest came back, making him collapse on the couch to pant heavily. What was wrong with him? Was he alright either?

Meanwhile at somewhere else

"What are we doing with this.. kid.." Someone growled in the dark room that seemed to be surrounded by a lot of metal, which could be heard from the sounds of the place. Not only by the place but also someone or somebodies were also wearing it too. Then someone, a much larger one, turned around and growled at the first one. Only one light could be seen coming from the narrowed doorway, and that made the metallic clothing look more copper like, at least from the color of them. Along with the metallic sounds and heavy movements, there was also a sound of a crying child.

"We'll wait.. Mars will want their princess back.. And then.. We'll have Stoker!" The Bigger one growled loudly and stretched his big hand out that his claws were showing. "Shush!! You'll scare her!" Someone growled at the bigger one and hurried to lift up the small mouse and a blanket at the same of a small bed. "No-one shall harm her till then.. So keep your claws in!" One growled with a female voice before hissing loudly since the bigger one brought their claws close to the child's face. With a single move of one claw they moved the blanket away from the mouse's head to reveal her red eyes, snow white fur and brown hair while crying loudly while a long and hairy gray tail disappeared to another room..

It was definitely the lost princess Snow, but where was she?! Who had kidnapped her and what did they want from her or Stoker? What was wrong with Throttle and how would Modo react to her sister's news? Would Vinnie and Harley solve their fight or was this just the beginning of a much more complicated time of relationships than the war was?
