Author's pov:

"Wait!" General Carbine gasped when the forces started to transport the prisoners into the jails after getting them chained for the transportation. "What? Did you change your mind and we don't get executed?" Vinnie growled but then saw his bros growling at him, making him shut his mouth and drop his ears down. "What is it?" Niv said while having her gun prepared if the Plutarkian even planned to do anything. Her expression told everything needed for the businessman, she was full of hate about what his kind had done to her citizens, her planet.

"I see there's no negotiations here.." Limgurger grinned before even he groaned loudly when the princess punched his jaw with her gun. "Don't you even dare to talk to her!!" One fighter growled at him before Niv nodded at them to start dragging him away from her. "Take him beforehand" Niv growled and then turned to look at Carbine. "Be careful to not catch that smell from him!" Vinnie blurted out, getting the worst glare she could ever do which made him gulp deeply and want the red ground of Mars to swallow him immediately inside of it.

"What is it, Carbine?" Niv asked when she walked to her, with no need to comment on Vinnie's words, except to think what her sister would ever have seen in him. "What if.." Carbine thought in her mind before lifting her head up to look at Niv from the ground. "I want to be sure about one thing first" She said and turned to look at Throttle who turned to her with his bros help as they were chained to each other from their wrists, ankles and tails. Carbine remembered something that she first thought to be just a terrible prank but she had to be sure of it. She knew this was going to hurt her, she already felt very hurt and had difficulties handling the whole situation, but she knew she needed to do this.

"How?" Carbine asked which got Throttle to gulp and twitch his ears. He turned to look at the two other Biker Mice before facing her again. He didn't say anything, or he didn't even seem to be sorry for faking his own death. Was he Throttle after all, or was he actually.. Xander? The Identical brother of the commander who Carbine had accidentally met earlier. Would it even be possible that Throttle was here for real? "Answer her" Niv stood right next to the tan furred male and prepared her gun again with a very cold expression on her face. "We have all the rights to stay silent.." Modo spoke even if he and Vinnie gulped too. Neither of them knew which one they should be more scared of, the general or the princess.

"Take them.. To the jail to wait for their death as the general said. This is the Princess' order!" She demanded as the fighters obeyed her immediately, leaving Carbine to just look coldly at the male. "How could he.. How could he ever dare to do that.." She growled in her mind, trying hard to not cry and show her tears now. She tightened her grip in her gun while her tail swung behind her feet as she started growling in anger. "How dare you pretend to be your brother?!" She started, making all of the Biker Mice confused as they turned to look at each other.

"Xander you'll never be like Throttle!! And you will never be part of the group I named the Biker Mice from Mars!" Carbine shouted as angrily as she could, which got all of the Biker Mice's eyes widened as they dropped down their ears. The Tan furred male stayed silent even if Vinnie whispered as silently as he just could, which was actually a rather big miracle, "Where does she know?" which got him to shrug and shake his head while they got dragged away along their chained bikes.

"What are you talking about?" Niv walked to Carbine as the group of males got moved to a bigger vehicle for the transportation. "I met his twin brother.." Carbine turned to look into her green eyes that widened right when she heard it. "Twin brother?!" She gasped and looked at the vehicle that started to leave from the desert. Carbine just nodded at her while crossing her arms tightly in front of her, but her words got her turn to look at her right away. "That was Throttle for real.." Niv said before sighing deeply.

"How.. How'd you know.." Carbine felt like she had difficulties breathing. "He had those specs. I swear, there's only one pair of those in the whole universe. They were mine when I was younger, but I gave them away.. To your uncle.." She said which got Carbine to gasp. "Who gave them to Throttle when he lost his sight.." She said before gasping for breath again. She felt the shock and trauma filling her body and her mind which got Niv to help her to concentrate on breathing again, like Throttle had done for many years.. He was really alive..

At the Freedom Fighters headquarters

When Biker Mice were forced to go into their cells with Lawrence Limburger who had needed many more Freedom Fighters to get dragged to the short time jail that was half underground, Carbine dashed away as fast as she could. She headed to one of the base's empty offices, slammed the door closed and locked before she ran to the furthest corner to curl on her knees. She felt like she couldn't breathe as she cried as loudly as she could.

She didn't know what to do or how to feel. She had absolutely no clue about how she should handle the whole situation. All she could just do was just cry and let it all out as loudly or as silently as her mind and her body needed her to do. She knew she was a general, a highly ranked one, and also a tough natured female but this was simply just too much. This was too much for her. This was too much for her son. This. This was just too much..

"Carbine!! Where is she?! I need to see her!" Throttle shouted as he turned straight around when the door of his cell got closed. He was about to touch the bars but then he noticed some electricity running on them. "Carbine!!" He shouted as tears started to run down his cheeks. He made sure his enemy didn't see it, not caring if the guards did. Anyone could see his body trembling, but he didn't care about it. "Calm down bro! She isn't here.." Vinnie sighed when he got into his own private cell too. "No shit?" Modo growled at him, making Vinnie glare back at him. Their plan hadn't gone the way they had imagined to bring the plutarkian in front of justice, and now an execution was waiting for them all.

"I need to talk to her! Where is General Carbine?! Carbine the Wife of Mine!" Throttle wiped his tears away before he stood as close to the bars as possible but that got only the guard to push him back deeper in the cell. "You mean the Widow of Throttle.." The Guard growled without saying anything more. "I guess waking up from death is not a thing mice watch through their fingers.." Vinnie sighed deeply as he sat on the bench in the cell. "Interesting.. Interesting indeed.." Limburger grinned himself, after hearing the news.

Throttle felt so frustrated. They had got back to Mars after years of being away. After years of him being dead there. And now he was soon facing that tragic end for real. This time by his own people. This wasn't part of any plans they had made during their lifetime. This wasn't how things should have gone. "We have the right for one phone call! I'll give mine to the commander if it's one for all three of us!" Modo said while leaning against the wall in his cell. He had his arms crossed and he felt bad for his bro. "I won't give mine.." Limburger smirked, getting Vinnie to growl. "No-one asked you, you Slimy Cheesehead! Junk fishes get no calls in here!" Vinnie growled before standing up to walk closer to the bars too. "I give my right to Throttle too! Just let him have one call or meeting or whatever!" Vinnie shouted as he cupped his hands close to his mouth to get his voice sound louder. His and Modo's words got a couple of the closest guards to turn to look at each other. There was a moment of silence before anyone said or did anything.

"One phone call" The Guard said before opening the commander's cell to come in for that one call he gave his radio for the tan furred male. "Thank you.." Throttle sighed and used his right immediately. His thoughts were totally messed up, but at least he knew who to call after a small moment of thinking, even if it wasn't the mouse who he really wanted to talk to. Meanwhile in the office, Carbine had got up from the floor and was leaning against a table. Her body was trembling from a traumatic reaction and she looked like she had cried like back then when she had seen Throttle exploding right in front of her eyes. For now that seemed to be easier to start to believe than to that he had really stood right in front of her. He had acted so nice and calm, not bothering that he had just woken up from death. Maybe it would have been easier to believe it was Xander, she didn't know much about him or if he would pretend to be his brother, but after what Niv had said proved to her that it was her thought-to-be-dead husband for real.. A Husband? Were they still married? Would they still be married? Could they, after all this? Would she.. Would she want to be married to him after all of this?

"How could he ever do this to me.." She thought while having difficulties to stand up since her body was trembling and the trauma had taken over her. "I thought he loved me?!" She cried and tried to wipe her tears away but they just kept coming and rolling down her face. She felt so miserable, terrible, chaotic and betrayed. And all that because of the mouse she had always loved.. "How could he?!" She cried out loud as she turned to look at the office's ceiling while managing to throw every single item at once off the table that was left on it, but then she just fell on her knees again and it took some time from her to try to get up again. She just hid her face in her hands and cried.

Even a radio phone's incoming call's sound didn't get her to wake up from that dark mess that had filled her head. But the knocking from the doorway did. It got her ears twitch a bit as a sign of hearing it. "Carbine?!" Niv shouted as she opened the door and ran to the general who bursted into tears again immediately when she saw her uncle's wife. "I know darling! I know! Let it all out!!" Niv hugged her tightly when Carbine ran to hug her. For now they didn't care about titles. Niv was there for her as her friend and as her family member, not as a royal with all traditions and manners.

"He.. He.." Carbine couldn't even talk from the shock. "He was there. Carbine I saw him too. He was really there.. Throttle's alive.." Niv said before Carbine's feet couldn't hold her up anymore. She helped the black haired female to sit down on the floor while they were still hugging. "He can't be.. I saw him.. exploding.. Right in front of my eyes.. You saw it too! You were there!!" Carbine turned to look at her when they let go of each other. Niv didn't let her go completely, she kept holding her from her shoulders to make sure she stayed up and maybe felt at least a bit safer or supported. "I know and I am confused about this too" Niv said before Carbine growled. Even if she had seen that tape and hardened her feelings, she had had to hide somewhere where no-one could see her collapsing and breaking down totally. She remembered herself ordering to execute the trio, including her friends males, but they were traitors of Mars, weren't they?

"Confused?! You must have known about that! You all planned something behind my back!!" Carbine shouted while trying to get up, but so far her feet couldn't still carry her. Niv let go of her shoulders to move them calmly to her own tights. "Carbine.." Niv started and tried to be patient with her. This must be as confusing to Carbine as waking up from a coma after 14 years had been to her, or maybe even more. This was probably worse. "No!! Don't!" Carbine growled and didn't want to see or hear anything from anyone. She just wanted to be alone. She couldn't trust anyone. Even the love of her life had lied the worst to her.

"Carbine! I didn't know about this! I give you the Crown Princess' word!" Niv said while she lifted her right hand in a fist over her heart. It was also a sign of high promise from a royal. That got Carbine to stop shouting at her. "How.." Carbine cried even if she felt sadness mixed with anger and others, those kinds of feelings she couldn't even name them all. At least she felt a bit safe with Niv, who could trust or at least try to trust, but what should she or they do now? "I.. I don't know.. I don't know, but I promise you, to find out!" She said as she lifted herself up a bit to sit on her knees. "How did you find me?" Carbine asked when Niv wiped away some of her tears that just kept running down her cheeks. "It wasn't that hard.. And he radioed me" Niv said calmly, making her turn to look at her.

She really didn't know what to believe anymore, but she had to trust the princess' word after she gave her word and official promise. "Throttle?" Carbine felt like she would even throw up when she said that name out loud. She felt so disgusted but also badly worried about her dear baby boy. What would happen now, what should she do? "Yes.." Niv dropped down her ears a bit. "He's arrested.. The Biker Mice are arrested.. They are all here on Mars.." Niv explained after handing her a tissue that she used straight away. "He used his only phone call.. To call you.." Carbine said, making the princess sigh deeply. "Vinnie and Modo gave him their rights to let him have one call.." Niv said what she had heard from the guard through the radio. "He wants to talk to you.." Niv continued when Carbine calmed down for a small moment. "He knew I wouldn't answer.. He chose his call right.. They all are waiting for execution. He really messed up this time.." Carbine said, almost coldly.

Niv knew what she could do as the crown princess, but she also knew she had to let Carbine make the decisions now, even if the Queen was the one to have the last word for it. "I could ask if you are willing to meet him but instead I'll ask.. What about Felix?" Niv asked as a mother too. That got Carbine to cry again. She had nearly forgotten their son for that moment of those emotions raging through her. "Ask Harley to take care of him for longer, but don't tell her about this yet.." Carbine said and Niv could see from her eyes that she was begging. "This includes Vinnie too.." Niv sighed but then nodded. "I won't tell Jessica either.. Not yet. But should I go now to Harley? What do you want me to do?" Niv asked when she slowly got up from the floor.

"It would shock her and the unborn baby too much.." Carbine said while wiping her nose to the tissue. She sat on her knees too, not sure if they would still carry her. "I.. Yes, go to her, or call her. Felix needs to be taken care of now. I'm not able to do it.. I need to.. I have to face this first" Carbine said when Niv helped her to sit on a seat. "Thank you.. Thank you Niv for everything" Carbine said when they hugged one more time. "Of course, anytime you need, Carbine" Niv smiled weakly before she left for another office to call her sister since she knew the general needed her most here now. Carbine had nodded at her but immediately the door got closed after the creamish white furred female, Carbine ran to the closest trash can to throw up. At least her feet seemed to be carrying her, but other parts of her body seemed to disagree with everything that had happened in the last couple of hours.

In the cells

Throttle's pov:

Carbine was the only thing I could think while sitting in my cell under the ground, in the base's building. Vinnie's cell was right next to me while on the other side of my cell was Limburger's cell. Modo was on his other side and none of us except the slimy Plutarkian was pleased about the situation. Some guards had changed during a few hours of waiting, or at least I thought it was a few hours. It felt like an eternity but from the shift changes I could count some hours of real time. They didn't talk to us or get many radio calls, and since we weren't in a mood to joke around as usual or talk much either, the atmosphere was just filled with silence, and the disgusting smell of a Plutarkian and very clear betrayal.

It was our enemy who talked first after a long time of silence and Limburger's words got all three of us pissed, but only Modo snapped and tried to catch him through the bars. "Oh shut your stinking yappy Plutarkian scum! We never worked for you!" Modo growled before getting some electric shock from the cell's bars. I saw in the corner of my eyes that our enemy we had fought for years on the planet Earth was pleased about the situation, but did he know something that we didn't? One thing was for sure, this whole thing was settled, but by who, we didn't know that. Yet. And when we got to know that, I swore that guy or I could already say Plutarkian was going to pay, badly.

"Oh you're much too modest my dear boy! Your assistance in the devastation of Chicago was as invaluable as it was here on Mars!" Limburger grinned while I tried to get through the bars too. At least the cells kept the enemy there too, but none three of us were the enemy of Mars! "You lying Stunfisk! You set us up!!" I growled while getting another electric shock as I tried to reach to pull Limburger against the bars to punish him. My shoulder got burnt but it wasn't as bad as hearing Limburger's words about he wasn't behind all of this. If he wasn't then who was?!

"Well somebody did! And it smells like Plutarkian scum to me!" Modo growled and his eye was glowing red. Vinnie seemed to be calmed down since he was just sitting on the cell's bench, but I knew he felt as much anger as we did. All I could do was just to stare at the Plutarkian through the cell bars while Modo finally managed to grab him and give him a rather painful electric shock that unfortunately got stopped by the guard who slammed a gun to the bars to make it stop.

I heard only half from the Plutarkians lies about firing Modo since I was growling out my anger, but finally Modo's anger got some reaction showing on Vinnie too. "Bros, Bros! C'mon! Calm down! This bloated bag of sausage sauce is just trying to get you go.. We got nothing to worry about.." Vinnie chuckled and swung his hands to take a better position in his cell. He seemed to be really calm if taken a look at the situation.. But then Limburger took something from his pockets to throw it to his cell. I tried to catch it but then decided to let Vinnie see it first.

"Of course not, my estimable employee. I'm sure your inconsistent associate that human female is being well treated by my other operatives.." Limburger said while I saw Vinnie looking at a picture of our human friend Charley. That got Vinnie snap totally and even I felt a thud in my cell when he ran to the bars and started to kick and punch them, without caring about the electricity he got from it. "Hold on! Settle down! Settle Vincent! Set-" I tried to calm him down but he didn't seem to hear me at all. I understood him. He had lost Harley and now there was a change that Charley would get hurt too. He was the closest from us to her on Earth, but I was also worried about her safety and probably Modo was too.

"If your oil slick gooner even touches Charley..!!" Vinnie growled in anger when he finally stopped kicking the bars, but that got our enemy only to grin wider. While he told that his underlings Greasepit and Karbunkle would take care of her, my mind wandered back to my very own problem. What if Limburger gets a way to contact Plutark and Stilton? Everything would be ruined, but the bigger problem was just ahead of me, and us. Carbine had commanded us to get executed, without even giving me a chance to explain. Great.. How great..

We had loved each other ever since we had met as teenagers, recently got married and now I was going to get executed on the order of my wife. She had also somehow got to know about one other thing too which clearly made me look even more like a liar. I guess this wouldn't get any worse, could it? At least we brought Limburger in front of justice and saved Mars, but with what cost..

Timeskip: An Hour or two later

Author's pov:

Lawrence Limburger tried to bribe the guard that had come to guard the prisoners after the latest shift change, but even promises about new luxurious life didn't get them to take the bundle of money he swung in his hand. Or actually, after a moment of thinking, the guard who was alone on duty there at that moment, decided to take it. The Guard had a female figure that got noticed by the enemy but also by the Biker Mice too when she took the money to count it. But instead of taking them, she punched the Plutarkian straight to his face, threw the money into his cell and shot them into dust. And when she did that and turned around, Throttle noticed a familiar blue scarf around her bicep.

Seeing that got Vinnie laughing and howling while Throttle walked closer to his cell's door. He had his ears dropped down when he looked at the light gray furred female guard. He felt mixed feelings of relief, longing and guilt, but instead of feelings like that, she felt mostly anger, disappointment and hate, along with sorrow. "Now, there's only one mouse I know with such a delicate negotiation strategy.. That one mouse I should rebuild trust with.. Carbine.." Throttle said hopefully as the guard took her helmet off to reveal her long black hair. "Carbine?!" Modo and Vinnie thought but none of them said anything out loud when they saw her angry expression.

"Time to talk Throttle. You and me. Now!!" Carbine growled before opening only his cell. "Something tells me that this isn't the happiest of the reunions.." Modo sighed, which got Carbine turn to look at him for a moment when Throttle walked out of his cell. "You got that right.. A Miracle, isn't it? Probably as much as him walking on Mars, alive.." Carbine said, clearly disappointed also to the rest of the two of the Biker Mice. Modo was her friend's fiance and Vinnie had had something with her best friend and this is how they treated her, their general and close friend.

When Throttle got out of the cell, Carbine pointed her gun straight at him before the doorway. "That way" She growled, making him sigh deeply. "Come on, you can put that stupid thing away. I'm not going anywhere.." He said, getting her only snort. "Yeah.. You said that before. Now move" She said while looking directly into his eyes. He could see she was hurt even if she tried to hide it. "You got a good memory.." He tried to cheer her up, but it only got things worse.

"Yeah I do.. And some memories are better than others.." She said when he walked past her, his ears dropped down immediately. He felt so horrible, but at least for a moment he forgot Limburger and his whole appearance and plans of their betraying Mars. During that time they walked where Carbine took him, she had her gun right behind his back and there was complete silence between them. She didn't even touch him with the gun either, which made him gulp deeply. She was really mad. "Carbine.." Throttle said but got only an angry grimace from her. He decided to stay quiet till they were where she was taking him. He had wished to see her and wanted to talk to her, but he still hoped that she wasn't taking him now to the execution. If he and his bros' heroic life would end this way, at least they hoped to do it together.

No-one came to take her place when she walked him to one of the upper levels of the base's buildings that had a balcony where they could see the view of the city of Brimstone. In the office room Carbine stood right in front of the door to prevent Throttle from escaping. "Carbine, this is crazy! You must know we'd never work for Limburger!" He started, getting her only angrier by starting to talk about that instead of the bigger topic, nor about his twin brother who he seemed to know about at least something if looked at his reaction when she called him by his brother's name. If he knew nothing, he would have been in a shock, but instead of that, nothing. Simply just nothing. So there must have been something that he knew about him. Something that he never bothered to tell her. "You think I'm a fool?! I know what you've been doing! Take a look at this. This came just before you got here.. Or should I say, woke up from death.." She said while preparing the video tape and a projector as he turned around. Carbine felt horrible but only showed it as anger.

"You and your friends appear to be helping Limburger ravage the Earth as he did Mars.. And you look way too much alive than you were the last time I saw you.." Carbine said while they looked at the video tape of Biker Mice fighting in Chicago, but on Limburger's side. That got Throttle's blood boil and punched the monitor broken as he growled loudly. "Wrong Carbine! It's garbage! We were fighting Cheese face, not helping him! Somebody's messing with the film to make us look that!" He growled, making Carbine gasp and growl too. "Hah! You expect me to believe that?! After what you did to me?! To your-?!" Carbine raised her voice but it only got Throttle to slam his other fist on the table that both of them were leaning against with their hands.

"It's the truth! We brought Limburger back here for trial!" Throttle shouted even if Carbine lifted her gun up to point him straight to him, but his words got her to lift it down and her expression softened a bit, but only because of the confusion. He showed that kind of determination that he had always had. That and much more had been the reasons she had fallen for him. "I don't know who to trust anymore.." She let her guard down for a moment when she sighed deeply. She placed the gun on the table to head to the balcony. "Especially now there's so much at risk.." She said, her mind in her, or actually their son but also on Mars. Throttle had his eyes nailed on her, but when she told him to look at something, he grabbed her gun and hid it in his belt and under his leather vest, before he walked next to her to see what she meant.

Carbine felt a bit more alright but the reason wasn't him being back alive. She felt happiness for what Throttle saw when he looked through the telescope. Near the building, at the feet of a huge rock were some plants and trees growing with a small waterfall and spring. It was a small piece of the old Mars that they used to have before the Plutarkian war. Seeing that got Throttle gasp. "It's green.." He sighed with happiness in his tone of voice. Carbine felt like she would go crazy in any minute. It was so absurd that she first showed him that instead of telling about their son, but if the situation was totally opposite maybe then.. Maybe..

"It's green. Just like Mars used to be.. Before the Plutarkians.." Throttle smiled at her before turning back to look at the small piece of growing nature. "We call it the Garden of Hope.. It's part of the forest of the intertwined tree.. It's still here and highly protected.. It's all that's left of what Mars once was. We've been trying to preserve it but since Plutark stole the planet's water it's.. It's been hard.." Carbine said while leaning against the railing of the balcony. Throttle stopped looking through the telescope when he heard her sobbing. He dropped his ears down before he walked to her. He didn't know what she was feeling, but it was clearly something awful, which wasn't surprising at all..

"We could have used your help, but you.. You abandoned us.. You left me! You exploded!!" Carbine started crying as she turned to lean against the reiling to bury her face into her arms. "Oh we didn't abandon you.. We were prisoners of the Plutarkians.. Come on! Vinnie's mask, Modo's arm.. That ain't cosmetic surgery, babe.. That was Karbunkle's dirty work.. I know you remember that.." He said after touching her shoulder and turning his back to walk away.

"So where's that creature now, babe.." Carbine spitted out like she had tasted a poison in her mouth. "I don't know.. Probably up to no good.." Throttle sighed as he leant against the reiling, a bit far from her. Hearing them calling each other with their loving names felt painful, surprisingly painful if asked from Throttle too. He had missed her and he felt so bad after what he did to her. That caused a moment of silence between them as Carbine turned to look at the small garden. In the corner of her eyes she kept looking at him to not escape, but still for some old reasons she trusted him to not go. Throttle wanted to talk to her about what he did, but he just couldn't.

"Don't you say you have forgotten what happened to my eyes.." He said and placed his specs better on his nose. "I haven't.. I could never forget that.." Carbine sighed while looking at the garden. She could see him turning to look at her with a small smile on his face which lasted only for a short moment till he talked again. "All that destroyed our future.." He started to talk about the topic that hurt her the most which got him to turn to look away. She felt her chest being in pain and she lifted her hand over her heart. "Like you even cared about it.." She said under her breath when he turned to look back at her again. Neither of them noticed a bright flash that brought Greasepit, Karbunkle and tied Charley Davidson, right in front of the building and the part where Limburger and the Biker Mice's cells were. And soon from that the Plutarkian's underlings found their boss and freed him from the cell by exploding it with a bazooka.

"Believe me Carbine.. Me and my bros, we hate Plutarkians! Always have!" Throttle growled as both of them looked away from each other, back facing back when they leaned against the reiling. "I wish I could believe.. But I've already taken too many chances.." Carbine said when she walked to him. She was about to touch his shoulder, also to be sure he was really there, but then changed her mind. She tried to not hurt herself any more. She was already feeling so much pain and it was all because of him. "No wait, listen! I'll tell you everything!" Throttle said and placed his hands on her shoulders right when a huge explosion caught their attention when Limburger's underlings freed him and destroyed his purple suit at the same.

"No.." Throttle thought in his mind when he saw his enemy escaping, tied Charley with them. He knew this would be the last thing which destroyed everything, if there even was a lightest chance to fix things, but he knew what must have been done. He felt so bad which got him to close his eyes for a moment to prepare himself for the most messed up mess he had ever faced in his entire life. "Later.. It's tail whipping time!" Throttle said and jumped on the reiling before hearing the black haired general gasping. "What?! So this was the plan, huh?! Play on our pass, keep me distracted while your Plutarkian boss escapes?! " She growled, but when she was about to take her gun from her tight bag, she remembered leaving it on the table. "And just when I was starting to believe you.. Will never again!!" She said as she saw the gun in his belt. Had everything been just lies? Has he always been such a traitor?! "Sorry honey.." He thought which got him to swallow hard as he felt bad for hurting her again. But Limburger needed to be brought in front of justice and Charley needed their help.

"Was the grave too uncomfortable for your macho arse or did you happen to miss YOUR WIFE?!" Carbine raised her voice just before he jumped down from the balcony to run to free his bros. He felt so bad for hearing that, and that she was clearly hurt, which was obvious of course, but right now he had no other choices. "Run.. Run as far as you can.. But you can't hide.. You are.. worse than Scabbard, Throttle.. I'm sorry Felix for having a father like that.." She thought in her mind as she watched him running away from her. She squeezed her fists tightly against the reiling as she wanted to scream as loudly as she could, but the only thing she could do at that moment was to radiocall the others about the escapee since she felt too messed up to go after him by herself. "Freedom Fighters, roll out! I want those prisoners nailed! And hard!!" She commanded, slammed her radiophone on the reiling before she ended up crying against her hands on it.

Immediately Carbine managed to get herself inside from the balcony, the door of the office room opened and Niv ran to hug her tightly which got her to cry loudly again against her. "I heard what happened!" She said while having her ears down as she felt so bad for her. And not only bad but also disappointment and anger towards Throttle. If Carbine hadn't commanded them, especially him to be executed, she would definitely have done it. "D- Did the forces leave already.." Carbine asked after a while of just crying. "Probably but there might still be some preparations going.." Niv said while she turned to look at her, wiping her tears away. "I'll lead the chase.." Carbine said, which got her surprised. "But.." Niv managed to say but she shook her head. She knew what she had to do. Not only for herself but also for Mars.. She was the general after all, even if Throttle had always just lied to her.

"Thank you for your help, but I have to do this.." Carbine sniffed before she walked off the room, the crown princess following right behind her. "What about Felix?" She asked but it only got Carbine turn to look over her shoulder. "Harley's taking care of him.. This couple of hours shift seems to have become overworked.." She said but that wasn't what Niv had meant. "Throttle is Felix's father! Are you going to execute him without letting them meet each other?" She asked which got her to stop for a moment in the corridor.

"Less pain for Felix the better.. He doesn't know his father.. And Throttle doesn't deserve to be his father.." Carbine growled but deep inside of her she felt bad for saying that out loud. Hearing that got Niv thinking for a moment before she just nodded at her husband's niece. "I'll come with you! You need the princess by your side to not get in trouble by yourself" She said with a small smirk on her face that got Carbine chuckle a bit too. "Thank you.. You are irreplaceable" She smiled, before they both ended up laughing at the creamish white furred female's words. "I know that, darling!" She winked before she continued. "And you need permissions from a royal behind your decisions" She said while they headed fast to the just about to leave group of fighters.

The Freedom Fighters left with the lead of General Carbine and Princess Niv, while only a couple of guards stayed outside of the cells to make sure Vinnie and Modo wouldn't escape, and that's how Throttle thought they would do which made freeing his bros much easier. He had hid behind a rock from where he could tackle the guards the way it wouldn't hurt them too much. He took one of their guns to free his bros. "Sorry soldiers, but this is an emergency!" He said before shooting the cells' bars open before freeing their bikes too.

"Bikes!" Vinnie shouted before whistling loudly. "Let's ride!!" He shouted just before Throttle noticed more fighters joining them too soon. But when they got themselves prepared and were about to leave, Modo decided to help up one of the guards before actually recognizing the male. None of them wanted to hurt their own kind. "There you go.. Sorry we had to get a little rough" He said to the young male who smiled immediately when he saw the gray furred male. "Uncle Modo?!" Rimfire said, making Modo realize who he had been helping to get up from the ground. "Rimfire?! Well look at you boy! You're all grown up!" He smiled and shook hands with his nephew even if Throttle reminded them about the approaching fighters.

"Uncle Modo, I knew you'd come back! We were so worried when we heard nothing from you for so long!" Rimfire hugged his uncle before the rest two of the Biker Mice recognized him too and whistled loudly as a greeting. "You gotta leave the family ties hanging, Modo" Throttle started to say. "Yeah, we gotta land us a fish!" Vinnie howled as Modo turned to look at Rimfire one more time. "Ride free nephew!" He said before they had to go, leaving Rimfire there, not knowing he was now a Freedom Fighter too. "Let's rock and ride!!" The Biker Mice shouted, a huge group of fighters chasing them fast behind them.

"Well bros.. We're on our own again.. The Whole planet is after us" Throttle said when they drove fast to the triple bridge above the gulley. "And Limburger's up to dirty deep.." Vinnie said before Modo continued. "It's good to be home!" He said as they separated one per bridge before exploding them to cut the way of the following forces who stopped right in front of the gulley. "Hmph! Good as ever.. That won't help you now.." General Carbine snorted as she took her helmet off her head.

"Your orders.. General, Princess" One of the soldiers got up from his bike to walk to her and the crown princess who was looking at the gulley. "What are you going to do with them? It's your decision.. I'll stand behind it, whatever you say, Carbine.." Niv said while looking at her. "Track them down. Capture them and show them no mercy!!" She growled before turning to look at the princess when the group left. "I would have done the same to your uncle if he did what Throttle did to you.. I don't judge you.. But still.. Think about your son, that's my only advice" Niv said as she drove next to her. "Exactly.. My son.." Carbine growled but then heard her sighing. "He has the right to know.." She said but then got glared at by the general. She just shook her head while driving next to her.

In the canyon where Plutark had once started digging and stealing Mars' land, the Biker Mice were after Limburger and his underlings, all thanks to clear lead of oily marks on the road. "Well Limburger ain't dump.. He must be doing this for a purpose.." Vinnie answered to Modo about the clear path. "You got that right. Keep your eyes open bros.. I got a feeling there's a bad moon rising!" Throttle answered as they drove along the path that led straight away to Sand Raiders territory where Limburger paid for the raider leader with three slaves to take down the Biker Mice, to finish what got undone by Dominic T. Stilton.

"Wa ha haoo! This place brings back memories.." Vinnie howled while driving on the left side of Throttle. "Seems like only yesterday we were fighting and blasting through here.." Throttle said as he looked around the place. "I can still hear the explosions.." Modo said before Vinnie continued. "Ja ha haoo! So can I!" Vinnie howled when they saw a Sand raider digger approaching them. "Speaking of which, did you manage to talk to Carbine? Or should we assume that you didn't since your wife is chasing us, and definitely not in a good way!" Vinnie chuckled but only got a slam to the back of his head as an answer before they got to fight against the raiders. They needed to save Charley first, that was for sure.

Meanwhile the trio was enjoying their fight against the Sand raiders, Carbine had got back to the base to head straight away to see her son who seemed to cry loudly in their apartment. She had demanded the fighters to chase them, but decided to take a small break to check her baby boy. "I know, I know, love! Too loud for you to sleep.." Harley sighed while trying to get Felix to sleep in Carbine's and his bedroom before she heard the apartment's door opening.

"Carbine? Finally!" Harley gasped when she saw her friend running to them to take Felix into her arms. "Shh.. Mom's here.." Carbine sweetly talked to her son while rocking him gently in her arms. "Where have you been? I got so worried! All those explosions, so near! What's going on?" Harley asked in a slight panic in her voice but then she saw Niv entering the apartment too. "She was with me.." Niv said while Carbine turned to look her into her eyes. She gulped and looked like she was begging which got Niv to sigh and turn to look at Harley. "Raiders got too close to the city.. I needed her longer than those two hours.." She said which got Harley to gasp and start to wander around the room thinking and panicking about the situation. Niv glared at Carbine who thanked her silently. She didn't like to lie to her own sister, but she knew that hearing about Vinnie would mess up everything for now. Harley still was too weak to go to the battlefield, even if she fought some raiders well some time ago, and if she heard the white furred male was there, she would never stay in the apartment.

"Everything's under control.. But we need to get back soon" Niv said while heading to have something to drink from their small kitchen. "Back?" Harley said before sighing deeply when Carbine turned to look at her. "Can you-" She only started to say when Harley smiled and nodded at her. "Of course.. He has just eaten, but if you put him to sleep now.. That lullaby wasn't his favorite.." She said, meaning the explosions outside which got the black haired general chuckle sarcastically which only Niv understood. "Really.." She sighed before walking to their bedroom to get her son sleeping.

"How's Jessica? Isn't she close to giving birth?" Niv asked when Harley joined her to sit for a moment as they took a break from the chase of the escapees. "Yea, but she's good. Last time I saw her was yesterday morning, she told me that she was going to meet her sister and then Modo's family. Adira had insisted on getting some baby clothes for the little one" Harley said, making both of them laugh while Carbine hummed a Martian lullaby to her tired son.

"I know.. I'm tired too, my love.. But mom's gotta go back to work. Aunt Harley takes care of you when you wake up.. Now just sleep, my love" Carbine smiled before kissing her son's forehead gently, but when she was about to leave, he grabbed the blue scarf around her biceps that got her to freeze. Felix was sleeping, but still had a tight grip on the scarf. "Felix.." Carbine sighed deeply and soon felt a tear rolling down her cheek. "How'd you know?" She wondered and had no choice than to unwrap the scarf to give it to him to sleep with it or else she had to face his cry tantrum for getting woken up too early.

"I have to.. I have to deal with your father.. Yes.. The one I have told you to be the hero of Mars.. I'm sorry, I was wrong about him.." She whispered quietly when she placed the scarf better near his small hands. He took better grip on it immediately and it seemed like it helped him to sleep better. "Like you'd sense him.." Carbine gulped before she petted his dark hair that was almost as dark as Carbine's black hair was. Right after that she left the room, looking straight into Niv's eyes before leaving their apartment fast. "Seems like they are tough ones.." Niv said and got up from the chair to follow the general. "Stay safe, both of you" Harley smiled before she got up from another chair to head to the bedroom to read and take a look at Felix. But when she saw the blue scarf in his hands, she had a weird hunch that something else was happening than the females told her, that it got her to run fast to the doorway, only to see the corridor was already empty. "Carbine.." She sighed and felt a tear rolling down her cheek too.

When the Biker Mice had rescued their human friend Charley with maneuver 16 from falling to the gulley, the trio and the mechanic got another surprise from the Martian tangle springs that got the bikes to stop right there immediately. "And that can only mean.." Modo sighed when they saw the light gray furred female with the crown princess and the forces on the edge of the cliff. "You're under arrest, again! And this time, we're going to make it permanent, you Plutarkian boot lickers!" Carbine growled when she put her helmet back on her. Throttle noticed that she had taken his scarf off which made him wonder that it must have been for what happened on the balcony, right?

"What are you talking about? We were just fighting Limburger!" Throttle growled when the Freedom Fighters jumped in front of their small group. It hadn't taken much time from the black haired general and the crown princess to catch up with the group. "You were fighting Sand raiders.. Probably to let your boss escape! Take them to the court and cast them to the pit!" Carbine said coldly when the fighters got up from their bikes to head to the Biker Mice and their human friend. None of them saw Limburger freeing Greasepit and Karbunkle not far from them. The Plutarkian was about to plan a surprise for the mice with doc's newest invention, the asteroid attractor, but none of the villains noticed that the remote got shattered when Limburger shot their chains..

At the Abyss of Death

"Are you sure you want to do this?" Princess Niv asked when the Biker Mice got dragged to the edge of the pit that had another name too, the Abyss of Death. "I have to.. This is my duty.." Carbine said before starting to read the sentences to the trio. A Few other Freedom Fighters guarded Charley to not interrupt. They had nothing against her even if she seemed to be helping the Biker mice, but after all she shouldn't even be there, meaning that once this was done, she would be sent back to planet Earth where she belonged.

"..And thus. For your crimes of aiding and abetting the Plutarkian invaders. You are hereby sentenced to be cast into the pit of everlasting doom." Carbine read from the scroll, making Vinnie whine about their destiny. "Oh man! I'm not dressed for everlasting doom!" He started and Modo continued. "Yeah this is the mother of all the pits.." He gulped deeply as they were chained to each other. The pit was full of sharp spikes, ready and waiting for them.

"Tough room bros.. I don't think the humor is going to play.." Throttle sighed deeply before he tried to turn to look at Carbine. He noticed Niv looking at her too with her side eyes, and something told him that everything wasn't alright, and it wasn't up to the moment. "And while we're getting indeed.." Vinnie started as he turned to look at his bros. "Limburger getting up to something rotten!" Modo growled, his eye glowing red.

During that, Limburger was really making things more challenging for the mice. With the Karbunkle's asteroid attractor they managed to turn a huge asteroid to head straight towards Mars, but when they noticed that the transport remote had got broken, they faced panic too. "Well bros, it's been surreal.." Vinnie sighed when the Biker Mice had to take a step closer to the edge. "Oh wait wait wait! We can still try to blast our way out of here!" Modo tried to cheer them up but Throttle didn't buy it. "Oh no good, Modo.. Remember, they're only keeping Charley safe as long as we behave.. We don't want to drag her down with us" He said before they saw Niv looking at them, or actually Throttle.

"Why is he more concerned about an Earthling than his own son.." She whispered to Carbine, blocking the view of her mouth with her hand to make sure no-one could read from her lips. "I didn't tell him.." She growled by whispering back at her which got the princess to glare at her. Carbine just glared back at her which got noticed by the Biker Mice before the crown princess walked to them from the general and the others who kept company to once again tied Charley.

"Aren't you ashamed?! We even had Throttle's funeral!" Niv growled while listening the same that Charley tried to prove Carbine to let the male mice go. "They weren't official.." Vinnie mumbled which got Niv to walk to grab him by his scarf before letting him go roughly. She glared at the commander who looked back at her. "Well they soon are.." She spitted out, making all of them gulp deeply.

"Why should I trust you? You could be working for Limburger" Carbine said while turning her back to Charley who tried to convince the general to not make the terrible mistake. "Is there any problem?" Niv walked to them from the males. "Oh right! Why would I want to help a Plutarkian to destroy my own planet?! You've gotta believe me! Limburger's still out there somewhere and he wants revenge" Charley said and looked not only Carbine but also Niv, and even if she didn't know much about Martian culture, she could tell from her necklace that she was highly titled.

"The Biker Mice are the only ones who can stop him from- Look!!" Charley said when she turned to look at the trio who looked back at her. Niv was about to say something when the human female gasped loudly, making them all turn around to see a massive asteroid heading towards them. They all gasped while the Biker Mice tried to wriggle free from the chains. Even Carbine screamed, but only for that the asteroid would also hit the buildings where her baby boy was with her best friend. Niv could see the horror in her eyes which got her to gulp too. This was a new situation even for the crown princess.

"Maan this just ain't our lucky day!" Modo sighed while trying to wriggle out of the chains without any kind of result. "Just hope it ain't our last.." Vinnie gulped too when all of them just watched the asteroid approaching..
