Right after Carbine had to the watch room

Author's pov:

After Carbine and Stoker had left, Throttle got up from his seat and walked to the door. "What do you think you are doing Throttle?" Modo said while sitting on a couch. "Carbine was acting suspiciously.. I'm going to find out why.." He said while peaked out from the door to see if the hallway was clear.

"If someone asks, I'm emptying my bladder.." He said and then sneaked to the hallway. "I keep guard here then.." Modo chuckled but then sighed deeply. He stayed there with Harley who was about to lose her mind because of the worry. Meanwhile Throttle was hurrying his way to the staircase and to the lower levels where the watch room was. He got there without getting caught, but then he heard a familiar voice talking that made him freeze against the wall.

"I'll make him regret the day he was born.. And specially that he ever hurt you.." Vinnie said making Throttle raise his other eyebrow. He continued listening to them which was easy because the little shutter at the door was left open even if the door itself was closed.

"I promise that you get out of here.. I'll help you.." He heard Carbine saying which after he heard Vinnie's voice again. "Thank you.. I really appreciate that, General.." Vinnie said making Throttle growl at himself. He could easily hear from their talking that the atmosphere was quite warm inside of the watch room. He hadn't a reason to be jealous, had he?

"This is all my fault.. If I had told the truth earlier this would have never happened.." Carbine started to say but then Vinnie interrupted her. Throttle really heard everything that they were talking inside the watch room. "You can't tell the truth.. Scabbard is worse than I thought.. And I'd say that if you tell it now, both of us are in big trouble.. And I shoot him, not you!" Vinnie said making Throttle even more suspicious about the whole thing. What did they mean by Scabbard being worse than thought?

"You may be right.. But this still is my fault.. You shot him or not!" Carbine said but then Vinnie spoke over her again. "You didn't tell me to do it! I did it because I wanted to give you justice!! You deserve to be treated right!" Vinnie said making her sigh deeply. It took a moment before Throttle heard either of them talking again. 'What is going on in there?' He thought himself and took a step closer to the door while still leaning against the wall.

"I admire that in you, Vinnie.." Carbine said making Throttle as confused as Vinnie was, even though he didn't see the white furred soldier's expression. "Your bravery.. Not everyone has as kind a heart as you!" Carbine said while smiling. Throttle could easily notice that she was smiling because of the tone of her voice. That made Throttle more curious and he lightly peaked from the shutter to see them, but for his luck neither of them saw him.

"I have you back now and every time you need, I promise" Carbine continued but then surprisingly Vinnie hugged her. That made her a bit surprised but also happy. She hugged him back making him smile too. Meanwhile Throttle was growling to the view outside of the watch room. "Thank you.. Thank you so much, General Carbine!" Vinnie said calmly while still hugging her.

"What truth..?" Throttle growled even if he didn't know where he should start his questions. He was so confused about the whole situation. But after hearing his voice, Carbine and Vinnie both jumped a bit and turned to look at the door. Throttle could see from Carbine's expression that she had got caught on something. He dropped his ears down a bit and looked at them with a disappointed expression on his face.

"Throttle! I can explain.." Carbine started while getting up but then Throttle turned his back to them. "I hope you enjoy your little moment in there.." He growled and then left back to the staircase. "Throttle wait!!" Carbine shouted after him but he didn't stop even if he heard her.

"How much did he hear?!" Carbine panicked while standing at the door but when she was about to go, she turned to look at Vinnie. "I don't know but he must have understood everything wrong.." Vinnie said making Carbine even more worried. "No shit Sherlock.." She sighed deeply and then opened the door. "I'll get you out of here, but first I need to handle him before this gets more escalated.." She said and then left the watch room and Vinnie there locked in.

Back at the upper levels

"Throttle that can't be true!! I'm sure about that!" Harley said after Throttle had told her and Modo what he had seen. Normally he would keep that kind of thing on him, but Harley must have known what Vinnie was like and Modo happened to be there too so he heard them too.

"I know what I saw, Harley!! That soldier is untrustworthy and so is the General!!" He growled and then started to pack his stuff. "Throttle I can explain!!" Carbine ran into the room while panting. She had run all the stairs of many levels just to catch Throttle but didn't manage to do that in time.

"I don't need your bullshit, General!" Throttle said and glared at the female. Carbine gasped loudly, he had never been so mean to her before. That expression of his was like he could kill with it. That made Carbine as shocked as terrified, but she tried to stay strong. Harley and Modo were also looking at her when she entered the room.

"Let me explain.. Please Throttle.. You understood everything wrong.." Carbine said while walking slowly to the tan furred male. He turned his head away from her. He couldn't even look at her which made Carbine even more terrified. She turned to Harley who was looking back at her with a confused expression on her face.

"Harley you know it's not true.. You know why all of this happened.." Carbine said and even if she tried to stay strong, the topic made her feel even worse. "You know why Vinnie shot the sergeant.." Harley said quietly so no-one unwanted would hear it. Carbine nodded which Modo nodded immediately.

"So there's more in this than just that you are dating Vinnie?" Modo said making Carbine shake her head. "I'm NOT dating him!!" Carbine spitted out making Throttle lift his head up to look at her. "So you are just fucking him, that's all?" He said making Carbine look at him with a terrified expression on her face. How could he ever say that to her? He has always been so gentle and nice to her! Maybe if he knew the truth..

"That's the truth.. right?" Throttle said with nasty tone in his voice. He was disgusted about the whole situation. "I don't need to listen to this bullshit!!" Carbine growled after gathering her back together from the panic. She dashed out of the door where she had just come from and Harley could see that she was crying.

"Throttle!!" Harley had stood up and raised her voice to the commander which made even Modo surprised. Throttle had heard from Carbine's voice that she was hurt. He regretted his words even if he still thought that they were the truth they were talking about.

Harley and Throttle were just standing there while Modo was still sitting on the couch. It took a moment from all of them to start talking again. Throttle was just looking at the ground while Harley was glaring at him. Modo was following both of their movements with a confused expression on his face.

Since no-one said anything, Harley decided to do the only thing that could be done in this situation. Even if she had jealous thoughts about Vinnie and Carbine being together, she knew that couldn't be possible because she knew the right truth. So she walked to the door, closed and locked it. Then she walked back to Throttle and Modo, and sat back to the couch.

"I know Carbine kills me after she finds out I told you this.. But you need to hear the real truth.. Throttle come sit here.." Harley started and the tone of her voice made either of the males quite confused but also worried.

"I'll stay here.. You can say it still.." Throttle said but then Harley used her voice with a new way that made both of the males shocked. "GET YOUR ASS RIGHT HERE AS TOLD, THROTTLE!!" Harley yelled and pointed to the couch. Modo chuckled when Throttle just quietly obeyed the female.

"Thank you.." She said sarcastically but then continued with a much darker tone in her voice. "The next thing you hear.. Is very terrifying.. But you need to promise me you won't tell this to anyone.. I have promised to Carbine that I'm not telling this to anyone but this situation won't get any better if you don't know the real truth.." Harley said making both of the males suspicious but then they just nodded which after Harley started to tell the truth like Carbine had told it to her, when Vinnie had also heard it.

After Harley had told the truth

(A/n: Caps lock ain't enough for the next Throttle's yell! ~)

"HE DID WHAT?!" Throttle yelled and slammed his fist to the wall behind the couch. His blood was literally boiling. Modo was also angry but also shocked. "Carbine doesn't want to talk about this, so you must promise me you don't tell this to anyone!" Harley said while whipping her tears. She couldn't tell the truth without crying, it was so terrifying to be heard but also to tell it. But what she had really told them was that Scabbard had attacked her.. Not the whole truth, she just couldn't say it out loud..

"I'll kill him.. I swear I will kill him.." Throttle growled and got up from the couch. Harley stood up too but took his hand in hers. "Throttle you must act like you don't know the truth!! If Scabbard finds out that more than Carbine knows the truth.. I don't even want to know what he gets in his mind!! He has already threatened Carbine about doing it again.." Harley sobbed making Throttle turn to look at her.

"HE HAS?! When and where?!" Throttle said but then Modo got up from the couch too. He lifted his hands on his friend's shoulder. "You must calm down.. I know you are angry, I am too.. But we need to listen to Harley.." Modo said calmly but that didn't help Throttle to calm down even a bit.

"Calm down.. Calm down.. You seriously tell me to calm down after hearing news like these?!" Throttle said and then turned back to Harley. "When.. And where.." He repeated. This time he wasn't yelling, he was murderous. "Back at the forest.. Remember? He was talking about the rematch.. And then said 'But we'll meet sooner than you think, Carbine..'" Harley said while shivers were going down her spine.

"That's the reason why Vinnie was so angry.." Modo said and finally he and Throttle understood why everyone had acted like they had in the forest. "Gosh.. If I had known all of this earlier.. What have I done.. I have been horrible to Carbine!!" Throttle said while facepalming and sitting back to the edge of the couch.

"I need to find her! I need to apologize for everything.. And after that I'll go have her revenge from that asshole.." Throttle said but then a familiar voice made all three of them turn their heads to the doorway. "I'll come with you.." Vinnie said while swinging his tail and leaning against the doorway.

"How did you get in? I locked the door!" Harley gasped and then Modo continued. "Or free?" He said with his deep voice. Vinnie walked inside the room and lifted his right pointing finger on his lips as a sign of no talking. After that Stoker entered the room too with some papers in his hands.

"You are free to go Vinnie.. You must pay these fines and the bill that the sergeant gets from the hospital treatments. And also your firearms license is denied for a month until you redo the test under a superiors watch." Stoker said and then handed some of the papers to Vinnie and the rest of them to Throttle.

"As a leader of your group, Throttle. You get a warning, but since I got Vinnie out with just a few sentences, you get just an oral warning from me this time" Stoker said making Throttle sigh but nod to him. After that he handed him the papers. "These are the copies of Vinnie's case. You need to achieve them to your group's records in the base. Is that clear, Commander?" Stoker said and looked straight into Throttle's eyes.

"Yes, General" Throttle took the papers and nodded. "Thank you, General Stoker.." Vinnie said and used the formal name of Stoker's making him nod back to the white furred soldier. "The Sergeant must be angry at you for a long time, but this is now handled" He said making Vinnie nod back to him while Throttle was growling to himself. Modo lifted his hand on his shoulder to calm him down before the general would notice his acting.

After that General Stoker noticed that his niece wasn't there anymore. "Where's Carbine?" He said but was about to leave already. "She got some command and went to check it.." Harley smiled at Stoker making him smile back at her. "Okay.. I'll contact her later then.." He said and then turned to look at the Biker Mice again. "Make sure that this is the last time I meet you here with this kind of case!" He said making all three of them nod formally to him, then he left.

All four of them waited a moment so they could be sure that the General had truly left. Vinnie checked it from the doorway. After that Harley repeated her question. "How did you get in, Vinnie? The door was locked.." She asked making Vinnie smirk proudly. "There's no locks that I can't get through.." He said and then noticed Throttle's expression. "Did you tell him?" He said and looked at the Harley who nodded back to him.

"I appreciate what you did Vinnie.. You defended Carbine when I didn't.." Throttle started to say but Vinnie shook his head. "You didn't know! Obviously you would have done the same.. Now we need to find her.. Before Scabbard does.." Vinnie said making all the others tense and realizing the fact that Carbine was probably alone out there around the army's area. Even if she was general, they knew that she was truly afraid of Scabbard. She would face hundreds of enemies alone but she was unarmed in front of the sergeant.

"Do you have any idea where did she go?!" Vinnie asked while all four of them ran down the stairs and outside of the building to their bikes. "She just left the room while crying!" Harley gasped while putting her helmet on and sitting behind Vinnie on his bike. "And none of you followed her?!" Vinnie growled at them while all of them were preparing the bikes and themselves.

"I was so angry at her.. Then Harley told us the truth.. But I know that isn't not an excuse! I should have gone after her.. What kind of boyfriend am I?!" Throttle said and slammed his head against his forehead. "So you are her official boyfriend?" Vinnie grinned and tried to cheer them up but Throttle just growled to him while closing his helmet.

"This is not the right time to talk about that!!" He said but then Modo interrupted their fight. "I got a signal from Carbine's bike! We need to hurry, she's close to the town's border! And her signal ain't the only one I got.." Modo said and sent the signal to Throttle's and Vinnie's bike too. Throttle left first, Vinnie and Modo following right behind him. He was so worried about what Carbine had in her mind right now. She had left in a shock and she was also so terrified. None of them said it out loud but all of them were afraid about if the other signal belonged to Scabbard..

At the border of town of Moon Village and the next closest town before the Brimstone city

Still Author's pov:

Carbine had left from the army base with a huge storm of emotions going through her mind. She was crying when she ran out of the room where the others had been and Throttle had said horrible things to her. She didn't know what she should do right now. She needed to help Vinnie out of the watch room but in a state like that she couldn't face anyone of the army forces. With the title of General, she must not show that powerful feelings at the work, so all she could do for now was just leave the whole building.

When she got to her bike, she quickly put the helmet on her head and then drove away. She didn't know where she was driving, but she just drove. And soon she noticed that she was driving the main street off the town of Moon Village. Maybe she could refresh her feelings if she visits the town of Blue Valley, even if it was the next closest town near the Brimstone City where that horrible thing had happened back then. She would still clear her mind somehow and come back when she was ready to.

When she was driving closer and closer to the border, she noticed that someone was following her, but before she noticed who or what it was, a huge and very powerful light lightened her whole vision and she saw nothing else but the light. It was so bright and it caused Carbine to fall down with her bike. She screamed during the fall but soon faced the street with a couple of roll overs while her bike just fell on the other side. Carbine hit her head to the street and her clothes were partly ripped apart. She was wounded, but alive even if she fainted for a couple of minutes.

The Light continued its way to the other side of the street and when Carbine finally woke up, she saw where the light had come from. It had come from a spaceship that had just landed on Mars. But where had it come from? Who or what was inside of it and what did they want?
