Author's pov:

"So he is here?" Niv asked while entering the evacuation center underground while wearing her normal outfit which was the leather jacket and leather pants with her royal necklace made from gold. Her hair was on her normal Mohawk style with finally the red stripe added in the front part of it. She had her boots on and her knife's sheath wrapped around her right thigh. Her style wasn't the most common to be seen on a princess, but she definitely was one of her kind. "Can you tell me where exactly?" She asked while talking with one of the guards who let her come into the underground hospital area.

A Few of the Queen's personal bodyguards had brought her before leaving since that was safer for her to get back there from the hideouts, even if she normally didn't need bodyguards at all, it was just part of the traditions. "I got a call from the lounge area a few hours ago, but I'm not sure if he is still there. Do you want me to check that, your Highness?" The Guard asked formally, making her smile and shake her head.

"No need.. I try to find him by myself, but I'll ask for some help if I need.. Thank you" She said while continuing to walk the way the guard told her where the lounge area was, and just in the stairs she heard familiar voices talking downstairs. "..not General Stoker but more like General Stroke!" Vinnie joked while they were talking about the time when Stoker had been under the effect of the Mind Bender Beam. His joke got everyone there to laugh quite loudly, but when some of them saw Princess Niv walking down the stairs, the laughter stopped suddenly and they froze into their places, making the rest of them turn around too to see what had caused an effect like that.

"Niv?" Stoker gulped while getting up a chair he was sitting on there. "Niv, look.. I'm sorry about what happened.. I shouldn't have hidden things from you.. Especially not as important as these were.." He started while walking to her, but she just lifted her right hand up as a sign to stop talking. Then she kneeled down in front of him to bow to him formally, making all of them gasp loudly. Not just their group but also the others since the room was now full with all kinds of Martians, all the way from civilians to fighters.

"Stoker. My husband. My sincere apologies about banishing you a couple of months ago for no reason.. And for dishonoring you by searching your brains without your permission!" She said while keeping her head down, making him sigh deeply. "For no reason? You had every right to do that! I betrayed you, our marriage, from hiding things that you should have known!" He said, but then saw her shaking her head. "Let me talk.." She said quietly before lifting her head up to look at him. He saw tears glimmering in her eyes when she continued.

"I love you from the bottom of my heart. I understand now why you did what you did.. Even if it hurt back then and still hurts.. I forgive you. I love you, Stoker, more than anything! I love you more than my life and I hope you will take me back and accept this formal apology of mine.. I have failed you as a wife and I am terribly sorry about that.. There should be no reason to banish or dishonor you.. You didn't betray our planet, you saved it" She said, making his eyes water up now too when he kneeled down too to grab her hands in his. He lifted her up to hug her tightly.

"I forgive you.. I love you too, Niv!" He said while everyone was watching them and the princess' formal apology. It was rare to see but the only way to apologize in their culture if the royal or someone else did something bad for them. And in the culture it was much more rare to see it being done by a royal since it wasn't accepted or even a normal way to act by a royal to bow someone else who didn't carry a higher title than them, which wasn't even possible if weren't talked about a family member that was older than the one who had done something terribly wrong.

"S- Stoker.." She cried in his arms while burying her face to his chest. She had missed him so much during those two months. She had just got him back when she had woken up, but then driven him away from her. "Honey, I'm so sorry.. I should have told you about her.." Stoker whispered to her ear, making her nod before tiptoeing to kiss him in front of everyone who were still watching them.

"May I ask if this means you are welcomed to be back?" Throttle asked after getting up from the couch to take a step towards them carefully. Niv turned to the commander to smile at him and nod. "Yes.. And this also means that I'll come back here.." She announced that everyone heard her, which caused some gasping and whispering all around the room. "What? But.. Your father.. Your parents.. And your safety.." Carbine said worriedly after getting up from the couch too, since it wasn't acceptable to talk to a royal if they were standing and the other one was still sitting. This was still a new thing for them to be around one so highly titled and so important person, meaning that they sometimes forget to act the traditional way, but it was alright for her.

"The Mourning period continues still unofficially, and my mother, the Queen, is carefully hidden to stay safe, but someone needs to take my father's title to make this war end. And we have talked and agreed the solution that I. Princess Niv, will follow my father's footsteps as the Commander in Chief, till we found the male follower to him" She announced, but then continued when they all heard some growling about having two female leaders now at the same time. It was one of the Martian rules that if the Queen was leading the planet, the Commander in Chief needed a male to keep the balance there, and sometimes they even were a marriage couple like for example Niv's and Harley's parents.

"I know this isn't the traditional way! That's why I'm concentrating on finding the next leader for the forces as soon as I can! It's my duty to be the next Queen after my mother, and I will not carry two titles since it's impossible" She said while looking around the room. "My mother will announce this tomorrow morning since the evening is turning to a night already for today. And when I have found the next Commander in Chief, it will be announced too!" She nodded to everyone, who mostly accepted her decision while still some growling could be heard which she understood rather clearly.

"Welcome back, Princess" The Twins bowed to her after their group of friends had stood up when she joined them on the couches and chairs they had chosen for themselves when they had still been free. "Thank you.. But please call me just Niv. We are friends after all, aren't we? I would love that.." She smiled at them, making them nod at her before they sat down after she had sat on the Golden Star General's lap when he sat back on the chair.

"Are you going to sleep here too, Niv? Or any other hideout?" Mericy asked, but then Vinnie talked while Rimfire and Rhea clearly admired her beauty and that they were sitting around a real princess who had called them all her friends. "How did you even find Stoker?" He asked, making Niv chuckle and lean against Stoker who wrapped his arms around her lovingly while their mechanical tails got wrapped around each other.

"It was easy.. His location could be tracked from here.. And yes, here. With my husband.." She smiled while kissing Stoker's cheek, getting him blush while he saw Throttle grinning for the reason he knew what it was for. He winked back at the commander who just chuckled which got Carbine a bit confused. He just lifted his arm over her shoulders, making her lean against his chest and nuzzle against it slightly before yawning a bit.

"I think I should get to bed now.. Too much romance for me.." Vinnie sighed while getting up, making Mericy agree while shooing her teens to get to their room too where Adira was already sleeping since it was quite late already. "Vinnie wait!" Niv hurried up from the chair to run to him. "What?" He stopped in the corridor just before she ran to hug him which got him very surprised.

"Thank you.. Thank you for being by my sister's side.. Finding her is also my first priorities.." She said, making him sniff while hugging her back. "Thank you.." He sighed against her, making her wipe his tears away before he headed to their bedroom. "Is there anything heard from the elite forces?" Carbine asked when Niv got back while Mericy left with her children after they all wished good nights to four of them.

"Just hints.. But nothing remarkable which annoys me.." She sighed before seeing Stoker tapping his lap which made her blush and shake her head. "I think we should go to bed too, General.." She smirked while swinging her tail a bit, making the others chuckle when the general just blushed and his eyes widened. "Alright.. Be nice, kids!" He smirked while getting up to follow his princess to the room nurses had told Niv that were free for them. It was a similar kind of small room that Throttle's and Carbine's, but it was in the end of the same corridor.

"Luckily their room isn't next to us.." Throttle smirked, but then got a cough from his bro. "I hope I could say the same about you two!" He chuckled, getting the couple blush quite much. "I- I swear we have been as quiet as we can!" Carbine panicked, but then heard some laughter from them. "Like you could be quiet with me, babe.." Throttle whispered to her ear, making her bite her lower lip and nod while blushing.

"It's good that at least somebodies have that kind of life.." Jessica turned to look away from the big gray who blushed and turned to look at her. "Just kidding!" She smooched his cheek, making him drop his ears down before they laughed too. "But I should go now too.. Sapphire is probably sleeping already and she'll wake anyways when I get back to our room.. Better do it sooner than later since she has an early morning shift!" She sighed, making the male sigh too while holding her hand in his.

"You really have to?" He asked, making her nod. "I have a morning shift too, and for my bad it's way too early for that I'm still awake.. But in the evening I'm free again.." She petted his cheek, getting him to nod and lean to kiss her when they sat on a couch next to Carbine and Throttle. "Good night, Beautiful.." Modo smiled at her before she kissed him back. "Good night, Handsome" She said before leaving. "Nights!" They all wished for each other before the rest of them left too when the lounge area was emptying bit by bit.

"What did you mean by that I couldn't be quiet with you?" Carbine growled when she entered hers and Throttle's room, which right after the commander closed the door behind him and ran to lift the female up in the air, getting her gasp while blushing. "Do I have to show you?" He smirked, making her nod and grab his vest roughly. "Maybe a small reminder would be in its place.." She kissed him, making him unplug his belt right away to lift it behind her neck to pull her closer by that. "I'll show you what's small! Or what is not.." He winked at her before kissing her back passionately. She bit his lower lip which made him groan just before she opened her mouth for him to let their tongues dance together while they almost ripped their clothes off each other as fast as they could.

Meanwhile in the Niv's and Stoker's room, the princess were sitting on the small table they had in their room. She was leaning against her hands while looking dreamily at her husband who had done a strip tease show for her. "What about the bed you mentioned?" Stoker smirked while having only his boxers on anymore while the princess had her underwear on her too since the show had got clearly too hot. "Like you wouldn't have wanted me right there already?" She whispered to his ear, making him smirk while blushing. "Was it that obvious?" He asked, getting her turn to look down at his bulge while nodding when he placed his hands on the table, both sides of her to lean closer to the creamish white furred female.

"Like I said.. We have 14 years to catch up.. And another child to make.." She moaned when he started to kiss her neck pretty roughly while undoing her bras before he dropped them on the floor. She opened her legs to him so he could get a bit closer to be right against her while she was sitting on the table. "Right.. I see you are quite ready for it, my love.." He said in between the kisses which got her pant a bit already while moaning when he had moved his other hand from her back to between her legs.

"Mm-m.." She closed her eyes when he lifted his hands to her breasts while still sucking the soft spot on her neck. They both were quite sure that would leave a mark but luckily the fur covered always at least most of them. When they had got into the room, they had talked things through and promised to find Spitfire even if Stoker was still quite sure that she couldn't have survived from the Red Tower's transportation, but he couldn't say it to her although she knew it already. After that the atmosphere had gotten much hotter, like it had gotten in the commander's and general's room too during that night.

"I have missed you.. Every part of you!" Niv gasped when Stoker undressed the rest of their underwear before placing her gently on their bed. "You stole the words from my mouth.." He said while getting on top of her to place himself ready after making sure she felt herself good there, a pillow under her head and Stoker's other hand on her lower back when she curled it up after Stoker got himself in her, causing her to take a deep breath and moan loudly.

"Less talking.. More.. Pleasure.." She barely could even talk anymore since she realized how much she had missed this feeling and how much she wanted her husband now, and she could tell easily the feeling was mutual. "Yes, Princess.." He groaned when she lifted her legs to his lower back to help him to get even more deeper while they both were panting and moaning quite heavily.

"S- Stoker! Oh my.. H- Harder, my love!" She leaned her upper body more against the mattress when she lifted her lower part more to him and the male did as told when they were close to their own limits. He could feel her throb very closely the time when he was close to come too. "I hope this will be the beginning of our second child.." Stoker panted while trying to hold himself in a bit to get her closer to her own limit. "I pray the Goddess this to be, but-" She was about to answer but then her moaning interrupted her words when she came while curling her back even more with the male's help who held his hands on her waist and her lower back.

It didn't take much from him either before he collapsed right next to her while they both were panting heavily on their bed. "Never 14 years apart ever again.. But gosh I have missed this.." Niv sighed deeply while laying on her back before she turned to look at her husband who rolled to his other side to pet her snow white hair gently. "I.. Agree.." He sighed deeply in pleasure, getting her grin widely when she read his expression too well.

"Waiting for the second round?" She lifted her other eyebrow a bit, getting him to chuckle while rolling back on her to kiss her passionately. "Only if you want.. I'm not sure if this is your way to try to talk me over to that new duty.." He said but then heard a so loud moan escape between her lips that was a rather clear answer for him. "Like I could say 'no' to you.. As well as you to me.." She sighed while petting his lower stomach a bit, making him tighten his abs for her. "Maybe another round would last longer? I mean.. So many years away.." He started, but then she pulled him to a passionate kiss before pushing him over to lay on his back.

"I know, my love.. But now all I want is you to fill me again.. We have a baby to make! And at the same time this is a rather fine negotiation about the next Platinum Star General, don't you think?" She said lovingly while sitting on him, making him get inside of her right away. "I may prefer this kind of decision making more.. Oh! Princess wants to take the lead-.. A-.. N- Niv!!" He closed his eyes when she already started while petting his lower stomach at the same time.

"We have the whole night.. And our whole life again, Stoker.. I love you.." She leaned to kiss him, making him pull her against him while he got a flashback to that day when he had proposed to her in the forest where they had first met. That made him connect his antennae to hers to deepen their pleasure during their love making which lasted for the whole night while hoping that the timing was right to have another child since they had always wished to have many together, but the years of being apart had ruined their plans..

The Golden Star General couldn't be happier for now after he had got the love of his life back. It only would get even better if they really had a chance to find their firstborn and also to hear the news that she'd carry his second baby.. But would the future be safe for their family still after that?
